ENHANCING ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILLS OF GRADE 2 STUDENTS AT SDIT AWH THROUGH THE USE OF ENGLISH SONGS
No full textAbstract: This quasi-experimental study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of utilizing English songs in enhancing the English-speaking skills of Grade 2 students at SDIT AWH. The study involved 23 students who were subjected to a pretest-posttest design. The experimental group received instruction using English songs as a supplementary tool, while the control group followed the conventional teaching approach. Both groups were assessed using pertest and post-test speaking assessments. The findings revealed a significant improvement in the speaking skills of the experimental group compared to the control group. The results suggest that integrating English songs into language instruction can be an effective strategy for fostering English speaking proficiency among young learners. Implications for educators and recommendations for future research are discussed

Prediksi Harga Bitcoin Menggunakan Algoritma Long Short Term Memory (LSTM)
Full text linkCryptocurrency is a digital currency made from sequence code or called blockchain, one of the cryptocurrencies is bitcoin. Prediction is a process that projects or imagines what might happen in the future based on data in the past or factors that influence the current situation. Bitcoin price prediction uses a deep learning approach with the Long Short Term Memory method. Long Short-Term Memory is a type of model from the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) algorithm, a method designed to process data and can overcome the problem of price movements that have long-term dependencies that cannot be handled by traditional RNN models, the LSTM model has the ability “Remembers” information over long periods of time, so as to recognize patterns and trends. In this study, the prediction period used a dataset from 12 December 2020 to 14 April 2024. The evaluation results for the RMSE method for train data were 17318.40 and for test data were 27921.84 and for the MAPE method for train data it was 3.24% and for test data it was 3.24%. 5.36%. This shows that the RMSE and MAPE values in the data train are relatively small because they are vulnerable to the bitcoin price being too wide

THE EFFECT OF PAYMENT THROUGH QUICK RE-SPONSE INDONESIAN STANDARD (QRIS) ON CUS-TOMER SATISFACTION OF MICRO, SMALL AND ME-DIUM ENTERPRISES (MSMES) IN RIAU PROVINCE
Full text linkIn the realm of digital payment systems, the adoption of Quick Response Indonesian Standard (QRIS) represents a significant advancement, promising efficiency and convenience in the digital economy. This study investigates the impact of QRIS on customer satisfaction within Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Riau Province. Through a quantitative approach and purposive sampling of 400 respondents, the research employs multiple linear regression analysis, validity tests, reliability tests, T-tests, and coefficient of determination (R²) using IBM SPSS version 25. The findings indicate a statistically significant positive relationship between QRIS usage and customer satisfaction among MSMEs in Riau Province. The study contributes valuable insights into the digital payment ecosystem's role in enhancing customer satisfaction, offering strategic guidance for businesses and policymakers. The R² value of 0.759 underscores QRIS variables' substantial explanatory power (75.9%) in influencing customer satisfaction within MSMEs, illuminating avenues for further exploration and application in digital payment innovations

Full text linkThis study aims to determine as well as identify impact of celebrity endorse, brand image and brand trust on intention in purchasing Make Over brands in Pekanbaru. Research uses quantitative method by utilizing the research sampling model, namely non-probability sampling model, a method which does not give every component or fellow of population equal opportunities or chances to choosen as a sample. Research used purposive sampling technique, videlicet sampling according to specific trait and considerations with overall sample are 105 Make Over cosmetic users. Data analysis method utilized in this research is multiple linear regress  analysis utilizing SPSS 26. Results of the study are celebrity endorsement variable owns a positive and significant influence on variable of purchasing Make Over brands attraction in Pekanbaru, the brand image variable has a good and huge effect on the variable of interest in buying Make Over brands in Pekanbaru city, and brand trust variable has a favorable and significant effect on the interest variable in purchasing Make Over cosmetics in Pekanbaru
THE INFLUENCE OF MANAGERIAL OWNERSHIP AND CAPITAL STRUCTURE ON INCOME SMOOTHING
Full text linkThis study aims to analyze the effect of managerial ownership and capital structure on income smoothing. This study uses quantitative methods with secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The population used is 52 companies with a research period of 5 years, so that the sample that can be obtained is 14 companies. The analytical method used is the panel data regression analysis method with the estimation of model selection test, model suitability test (Chow test, Hausman test, Lagrange multiplier test), classical assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heteroscedasticity test), test hypothesis and test the coefficient of determination. The program used in this study is Eviews 10. Based on the test, it was found that the variables of managerial ownership and capital structure simultaneously (simultaneously) affect income smoothing or income smoothing. This study also proves that the managerial ownership variable has a significant effect on income smoothing and also that capital structure has a significant effect on income smoothing
Analysis of the Bengkalis Regency Government's 'Bermasa' Special Financial Aid (BKK) Policy to Improve the Quality and Efficiency of Government Services
Full text linkThis study aims to analyze the BKK "Bermasa" policy with a focus on improving the quality of services and efficiency of government administration at the village level. This research uses a qualitative approach with a policy analysis method. Data were collected through interviews with relevant stakeholders, analysis of policy documents, and observation of policy implementation in the field. Analysis of the BKK "Bermasa" policy shows positive changes in village government administration. The implementation of this program has successfully improved service quality through the application of technology, active community participation, and empowerment of village officials. In addition, there is efficiency in village financial management and development planning. The Bengkalis Regency Government's BKK "Bermasa" policy has successfully contributed positively to improving the quality and efficiency of government services at the village level. The findings provide recommendations for local governments and related parties to strengthen policies and support the sustainability of similar programs in the futur
Redefining The Road Ahead in The Sharing Economy: How to Build Sustainable Competitive Advantage of Ride-Hailing Services
Full text linkThe sharing economy's ride-hailing sector is marked by fierce competition and continuous innovation. This study investigates the competitive dynamics of this industry, focusing on the role of market dynamics, promotional innovation, and operational agility in establishing a sustainable competitive advantage (SCA). Despite an extensive review of 2,192 sources from 2010 to 2022, a significant gap was identified, with minimal focus on SCA within ride-hailing. The research methodology encompassed a comprehensive literature review, identifying only one out of 1,099 publications that directly addressed SCA in the ride-hailing context. Building on this gap, the study developed a novel conceptual framework that emphasizes market awareness, innovative engagement strategies, and operational flexibility as key components for maintaining a competitive edge.The proposed model highlights the importance of stakeholder engagement, the identification of growth catalysts, and the navigation of industry-specific challenges. This framework aims to enhance the understanding of SCA in ride-hailing and suggests pathways for companies to achieve leadership in sustainability.This study contributes to the discourse on sustainable business management by proposing a strategic approach for ride-hailing companies to secure and sustain a competitive advantage. It underscores the necessity of innovative and flexible operational strategies in responding to market dynamics and stakeholder expectations. Future research is encouraged to explore the untapped sustainable capacities of the ride-hailing sector, further enriching the strategies for achieving long-term success and sustainability in this competitive landscape
