ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS’ ABILITY TO WRITE PROCEDURE TEXTS AT THE INFORMATICS ENGINEERING STUDENTS OF STATE POLYTECHNIC OF CILACAP
Get PDFAbstract: Mastering writing skill is a better way to communicate. While in practice, some English teachers/lecturers frequently found out that their students’ writings were not well-written due to the students’ lack of writing ability. There are many text genres learnt by the students. One of them is procedure text. The students’ ability to write procedure text is not only measured by their mastery of grammar, but also from its structures and the language features. The data were 23 procedure texts written by the first semester students of Informatics Engineering department at State Polytechnic of Cilacap. This study is acase study in nature by using combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches in analysis. The analysis was done according to communicative purpose, generic structure, and linguistic features of a procedure text. The result of the study showed that all Informatics Engineering students (100%) have achieved the communicative purpose of procedure text, almost all students (97.10%) could implement the generic structures of procedure text in their writings, and some of the students (60.87%) could characterize their procedure texts by using the linguistic features of procedure text
ANALISIS HASIL BELAJAR MAHASISWA DALAM MATA KULIAH KOMPUTER AKUNTANSI
Get PDFAbstract: Based on SKKNI that one of the competency units that must be mastered by students, the students are able to operate computer accounting applications. This study was conducted to determine whether there are differences in learning results in computer accounting subjects between classes A, B and C. The Test used is Mann-Whiteney nonparametric test. The number of population in this research is 81 students of 3rd semester of D3 Program of Business Administration. The results of this study indicate that the learning achievements or the ability of students in the subject of computer accounting using MYOB between class A, class B and class C is no different. Differences of lecturers who teach computer accounting subjects in each class have no effect toward student learning achievements. Key Words: comparison, score, computer, accounting, students
Pengembangan Aplikasi Web E-Learning Untuk Pendidikan Anti Korupsi Menggunakan Moodle
Get PDFIntisari - Pendidikan Anti Korupsi amat dibutuhkan sebagai usaha untuk mengatasi masalah korupsi dan perilaku koruptif. Di lain pihak teknologi yang saat ini berkembang pesat dapat difungsikan sebagai media untuk mengedukasi masyarakat, terutama pelajar. Sejauh ini aplikasi atau situs yang terkait dengan pembahasan anti korupsi kebanyakan berisi makalah-makalah tentang pendidikan anti korupsi, bahkan situs Indonesian Corruption Watch juga berisi artikel-artikel yang memuat berita tentang korupsi. Situs-situs tersebut memang berupaya untuk memberantas korupsi atau mencegah tindakan korupsi, namun materi untuk Pendidikan Anti Korupsi belum banyak disentuh. Pendidikan Anti Korupsi untuk perguruan tinggi dibuat secara personal dalam sebuah blog saja sehingga tidak dapat dijadikan referensi dalam dunia akademik. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan adanya sebuah situs web yang secara khusus menangani materi Pendidikan Anti Korupsi bagi masyarakat pada umumnya dan pelajar pada khususnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan produk aplikasi web e- learning menggunakan LMS Moodle. Aplikasi yang dipakai untuk membangun sistem ini adalah Moodle. Metode yang akan dipakai dalam pencapaian tujuan penelitian ini mengikuti empat tahapan, yaitu: tahap analisis, tahap desain, tahap pembuatan, dan tahap penerapan. Secara singkat tahapan tersebut dapat dijelaskan sebagai berikut: tahap analisis akan menghasilkan spesifikasi kebutuhan sistem, tahap desain akan melakukan pengujian terhadap desain yang telah dibuat, tahap pembuatan akan melakukan konversi desain menjadi sebuah program, dan yang terakhir tahap penerapan adalah tahap dimana proses instalasi sistem dilakukan dan dieksekusi. Dan juga disertai tidak adanya databases yang mendata aset penyewaan fasilitas di UNILAK. Get PDFIntisari - Surat menyurat merupakan kegiatan pengendalian arus berita tertulis yang sangat penting terhadap suatu pencatatan, laporan atau keputusan, dalam hal ini bagian umum secretariat kota pekanbaru merupakan bagian yang ditunjuk untuk mengelola koordinasi surat menyurat antar dinas di Kota   Pekanbaru.  Mengingat  pentingnya  surat menyurat  di Kota  Pekanbaru,  tidak  adanya  peta petunjuk, surat yang bersifat penting atau segera dan jumlah kurir berjumlah 5 (lima) orang, sehingga diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat melakukan pencarian jalur terpendek menggunakan algortima semut bagi pengantar surat.Algoritma semut merupakan algoritma yang mampu menyelesaikan persoalan jalur terpendek karena algoritma semut diadopsi dari perilaku semut saat proses pencarian makan dari sarangnya dan perilaku semut ini dikenal dengan sistem semut. Get PDFIntisari – Semakin ketatnya persaingan serta pelanggan yang semakin selektif dan berpengetahuan mengharuskan CV. Family selalu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanannya. Hal tersebut mensyaratkan adanya pengetahuan kondisi pelayanan selama ini, yaitu telah sesuai dengan harapan pelanggan atau belum. Kualitas pelayanan yang baik disuatu Instansi merupakan faktor dasar yang mampu mempengaruhi tingkat kenyamanan pelanggan dan telah menjadi satu-satunya faktor keberhasilan dan pertumbuhan  suatu perusahaan.  Dalam mengontrol kualitas  pelayanan  dimasa yang akan  datang, diperlukan kualitas pelayanan untuk mencegah terjadinya kualitas pelayanan yang buruk sejak awal. Konsumen menghendaki pelayanan yang diterima cepat dan baik, dan itu merupakan nilai peningkatan kualitas dalam pelayanan. Penelitian ini melihat seberapa besar kepuasan konsumen dan pengaruh tingkat pelayanan dan harga pelayanan jasa terhadap tingkat kepuasan konsumen dalam menggunakan jasa percetakan berdasarkan aplikasi fuzzy pada toolbox matlab 3.6.0. Langkah yang dilakukan pada metode analitis yaitu 1) fuzzyfication 2) inferensi  3) defuzzyfication.Hasil dari pengolahan data, meliputi : input terdiri dari a) tingkat kualitas pelayanan didapat bilangan real 6,99 dengan domain [58] artinya variable tingkat pelayanan baik, b) tingkat harga  dengan bilangan real 65,2 dengan domain[50 80] artinya tingkat harga produk/jasa murah. Output hanya satu yaitu tingkat kepuasan konsumen dengan bilangan real 550 yang artinya tingkat kepuasan konsumen sudah dapat dikatakan puas dengandomain [ 500 800 ]. Kata Kunci – Pelayanan, Kepuasan, Jasa  Percetakan, Fuzzy Logi
A STUDY ON LANGUAGE ASSESSMENT APPLIED BY ENGLISH TEACHER
Get PDFAbstract The purpose of this research was to investigate how the English teachers of Junior High School 4 Banjit, Way Kanan apply language assessment in teaching learning process. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The respondent is one of English teachers of that school. For collecting the data, the researcher employed observationand interview. The finding showed that the participant tend to less care toward assessment. It is caused by less of knowledge about the assessment itself. The participant was reluctant did the assessment because he felt that it is difficult to be conducted and complex matter. In conclusion the participant did not assess optimally and the assessments applied by the teacher were less able to present the result of students’ learning.  Key Words:  language, assessment, students’learning

This profile book discusses about water war festival, shell seeking with a plank, Beting Beras beach, the Darul Ulum grand mosque, Sejahtera Bakti Buddhist monastery,  Kue Bulan festival, “Imlek†Chinese new year celebration, and Bokor cultural tourism village. Get PDFAbstract: This purpose of this study is to examine the effect of organizational culture, locus of control, on the performance of district governments. This study also examine the mediating role of job satisfaction effect on organizational culture, locus of control, on the performance of district governments. The population in this study are all of SKPD Bengkalis District Government and purposive sampling is used as sampling method. This study uses questioner for 183 respondents. The analysis technique used is the technique of path analysis  using SPSS version 17.0. The results showed prove that organizational culture affect on the performance of district governments, locus of control affect on the performance of district governments. Get PDFAbstract : The purposes of this study were to analyze the influence of consumerattributes, brand awareness attributes, and brand image attributes simultaneously and partially on the brand equity of higher education institution inBengkalis, the effect of brand equity on the decision of choosing a highereducation institution in Bengkalis, and the indirect influence of consumerattributes, brand awareness attributes, dan brand image attributes throughbrand equity toward decision of choosing a higher education institution inBengkalis. The population in this study were all 2,819 active students enrolledat three higher education institutions located in Bengkalis Islands. Thesamples were 100 students with the sampling technique used was Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The research data were analyzed usingpath analysis and processed using SPSS for Windows version 17. The result ofanalysis showed that the consumer attributes, brand awareness attributes, andbrand image attributes jointly affect the brand equity of higher education inBengkalis. Individually, There is also an influence of consumer attributes,brand awareness attributes, dan brand image attributes toward brand equity ofhigher education institution in Bengkalis. In addition, the results obtained alsoshowed that there was an influence of brand equity on the decision of choosinga higher education institution in Bengkalis, in which, the higher and the morethe quality of brand equity have will directly increase the consumer's decisionto choose a higher education institution and vice versa. Beside that, The resultof analysis also showed that the better and higher the quality of brand equity,the better the influence of consumer attributes, brand awareness attributes, danbrand image attributes toward the decision of choosing a higher educationinstitution in Bengkalis.Keywords : Consumer Attributes, Brand Awareness Attributes, Brand ImageAttributes, Brand Equity, Decision Choice
