    Pemodelan Non-uniform Coded-Modulation pada Kanal Akustik Bawah Air di Lingkungan Perairan Dangkal

    In this paper, presented an OFDM performance evaluation with the Non-uniform Coded-Modulation in the underwater acoustic channel in shallow water. A row of binary information is encoded by BCH code (7.4) for error correction and combined with Non-uniform modulation which is the result of modification of the subcarrier arrangement of the OFDM standard IEEE 802.11a. Modeling uses 52 subcarriers consisting of 4 pilots and 48 subcarrier data which are divided into three parts, i.e.: 24 subcarrier data with 16-Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (16-QAM) modulation, 12 subcarrier data with Quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK) modulation and 12 other data subcarriers with Binary key-shift keying (BPSK) modulation. The channel type used describes the Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) condition and is the result of measurement data. The analysis is done in terms of Signal-to-Noise-Ratio (SNR) and Bit Error Rate (BER) show that the value of the error rate of 0.001, modulation of BPSK, QPSK, 16-QAM, and Non-uniform modulation required the power each 5 dB, 8.5 dB, 10.3 dB, and 7.9 dB. However, the proposed system is able to suppress the required power up to 6 dB. The proposed system also shows better performance than fixed modulation and Non-uniform Modulation, which in this case with low power to achieve the same error rate. In addition, the proposed system has a coding gain of 1.9 dB compared to a non-uniform modulation system. Real testing is also done with measurement data at Mangrove estuary, Surabaya. The results show performance similar to simulations performed on Gaussian noise channels

    EVALUASI KARAKTERISTIK PAVING BLOCK DENGAN PENAMBAHAN LIMBAH ASPAL BUTON DAN PASIR PANTAI

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi karateristik fisik hasil pengujian Marshall, uji tekan dan Catanbro dari paving block yang memanfaatkan limbah liquid aspal Buton dan pasir pantai dalam menentukan proporsi campuran optimum pada paving block yang memanfaatkan limbah liquid aspal Buton. Pengujian yang dilakukan berupa: pengujian sifat fisik aggregat, sifat fisik limbah liquid aspal buton, Marshall test, kuat tekan dan uji catanbro. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa nilai uji tekan tertinggi didapat pada umur 21 hari dengan kadar limbah 16%, pengujian catanbro menujukkan bahwa campuran dengan variasi kadar limbah 16% dan 25 % memenuhi persyaratan spesifikasi, nilai kelenturan dari paving blok  dan hasil pengujian Marshall menpunjukkan hal yang sama dan proporsi kadar limbah yang tepat dipergunakan adalah 16 % sampai 25%, hal ditunjukkan oleh nilai-nilai VIM (Voids in Mixture), VMA (Voids in Mineral Aggregat) Dan VFB (Voids in filled with Bitument) dan nilai Flow (kelenturan) serta nilai uji tekan dan cantabro yang telah dilakukan

    Angin merupakan salah satu sumber renewable terbaik dengan ketersediaan yang sangat melimpah. Penelitian ini menambahkan obstacle segitiga sama sisi diletakkan di depan sisi returning blade pada turbin Darrieus. Obstacle segitiga di depan returning blade diduga akan menurunkan drag sisi sudu returning blade dengan konsekuensi akan menurunkan torsi negatif dan akibatnya akan meningkatkan torsi total dan daya turbin Darrieus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode numerik dengan menggunakan foil NACA 0015, panjang chord 20 cm, diameter Darrieus berukuran 800 cm, kecepatan angin 3 m/s. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memvariasikan jarak obstacle y = 20 cm, 40 cm dan 60 cm. Simulasi numerik menggunakan moving mesh dengan jenis turbulence model Reliazible k-epsilon (RKE). Simulasi numerik melakukan ploting terhadap koefisien torsi (Cm) dan koefisien daya (Cp) Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja terbaik pada y = 60 cm dengan maksimum koefisien daya sebesar 0,377 pada TSR 1,535 atu meningkat sekitar 7,08%

    Berdasarkan data SKK MIGAS (hingga 2019) Indonesia memiliki 613 anjungan lepas pantai terpancang, 54,65% berusia lebih dari 20 tahun, kemudian 24,63% berada di antara 16 hingga 20 tahun. Enam unit platform yang dioperasikan di Laut Jawa siap untuk dinonaktifkan. Kewajiban untuk melakukan decommissioning pada anjungan pasca-operasi tercantum dalam peraturan IMO dan juga Peraturan Pemerintah (Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia No. 17 tahun 1974 dan No. 35 tahun 2004). Ada tiga alternatif metode decommissioning untuk struktur jacket (substructure), sedangkan untuk bangunan atas umumnya diangkut ke darat untuk daur ulang. Ada empat jenis transportasi yang diusulkan dalam makalah ini: monohull (bentuk kapal dan ponton), jack-up dan catamaran. Diskusi tentang masing-masing jenis untuk keuntungan dan kerugian disajikan di sini, di mana penilaian dibatasi dari sisi teknis, yaitu stabilitas, propulsi, luas permukaan dek dan kapasitas beban. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, catamaran memiliki keunggulan teknis yang lebih baik dibandingkan jenis lainnya

    Various components in a powertrain system can consist of a series of several components that aim to continue the engine rotation from the flywheel to the torque conventer then proceed to the transmission and then to the bevel gear to the final drive, have a variety of different types of technology and of course have advantages and each other's shortcomings. Of the various components, there are several types of components that use a device called the Planetary Gear Set, including the powershift transmission, torque divider and final drive. With the Planetary Gear Set, the rotation of the engine will be able to be doubled in torque as needed when the unit is running and with the combination produced from the Planetary Gear Set it will be possible to create various speed combinations both in the direction of the engine speed and vice versa.This research aims to create and design an application (Engineering Software) to study the workings of the Planetary Gear Set which consists of 3 basic components, namely: Ring Gear, Sun Gear and Planetary Carrier with various interactive gear ratio combinations, which will facilitate students in The Department of Mechanical Engineering in general and the Heavy Equipment Study Program especially in learning the workings of the Planetary Gear Set, so that it is expected to be a tool in the learning and teaching process.Keyword: Planetary Gear Set, Engineering Software

In performing his teaching task, he needs to understand his students’ personality to ease him find out the precise methods, strategies, approaches and models of teaching applied during teaching and learning process takes time. Understanding the students’ personality in learning will lead the teacher to be successful in teaching because he knows what to do with different students who have different ability. It is a must for a teacher to make someone who knows nothing become the one who knows many things and know how to solve any problem.The teacher will also do his best to apply various methods of teaching in order that he can attract the students’ attention to learn more about the subject.     The success of teaching needs to consider what strategy should be used to identify an effective way for students to absorb the material. These could be the main priority in the teaching process done by teachers involving teaching English to review their failure in the past, which tend to emphasize the role of a teacher in teaching and learning process what so-called teacher-centered. In the next phase to provide alternative solution, there is a contextual teaching and learning as an approach which adopts various strategies and makes students have an opportunity to be more explorative and thoughtful to learn in class as well as put them as the actor in learning milieus as it is called as student-centered helps teacher to reflect the teaching process whilst connecting academic material to the learners’ context in their daily lives in terms of personal and social contexts for promoting learning motivation.This was descriptive research that described to which extent of the implementation of contextual teaching and learning in the teaching and learning English in SMAN 1 Banjarmasin. There was one English teacher to be observed as a subject of research and involving 63 students in the process of English teaching in the classroom of the second and third grade of SMAN 1 Banjarmasin. To get the data, the researcher used observation and interview.The research found that the teacher employed several principles of contextual teaching and learning involving constructivism, questioning, inquiry, learning community, and authentic assessment in the classroom activities conducted by the observed teacher.Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning, Teaching Approach, Reflective Teachin

Pekanbaru  dikenal dengan kota madani namun dengan tingkat kepadatan kendaraan  yang cukup tinggi dan menyebabkan tingkat kemacetan di Pekanbaru  juga  semakin  tinggi. Sistem Transportasi yang berkelanjuttan merupkan salah satu solusi dalam permasalan transportasi pada saat ini. Angkutan umum sendiri   berperan menyediakan sarana mobilitas yg efektif serta efesien bagi masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan penumpang terhadap layanan jasa yang diberikan oleh Trans Metro Pekanbaru .Dimensi yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yaitu pertma sarana dan prasarana , kesiapan pegawai ,ketiga  ketepatan waktu , keempat biaya dan kemudahan. Untuk mengalisa tingkat kepuasan layanan akan di olah menggunakan metode fuzzy logic  dan untuk mengolah data training akan menggunakan aplikasi FIS Editor Toolbox pada perangkat lunka Matlab. Hasil Penelitian membahas analisis kepuasan  pelanggan  terhadap  pelayanan Trans Metro Pekanbaru (TMP) adalah  kategori  Puas [5.5]

    The purpose of this study was to test the analysis whistleblowing system and the competence of apparatus to the fraud prevention. Object of this research is all SOPD of Bengkalis Regency. The data use in this research are primary data with analytical method is multiple regression analysis. The results of this research showed there is whistleblowing system and the competene of apparatus to the fraud prevention. Based on the research it was concluded that the determination coefficient is 70,6%. It means that 70,6% of the fraud prevention can be explained by the variable whistleblowing system and the competence of apparatus. While 29,4% is explained by other variables outside the model

    KAJIAN LOADING-UNLOADING CRUDE OIL DARI PLATFORM KE FSO ABERKHA

    FSO (Floating Storage Offloading), is a floating / ship building that is used as a place to store crude oil. This crude oil is usually from FPS or FPU which is transferred to the FSO through a submerged turret loading (STL) system, then exported/offloaded to the tanker shelter through flexible hoses on the back of the FSO. The existence of FSO greatly benefits the oil industry, since it can be placed as close to the drilling area which is generally offshore. The method of loading ships that arrive can be done in various ways, including STS (ship to ship), Tandem (stern mooring), and SPM (single point mooring). A ship used to store oil is only referred to as a floating storage and offloading vessel (FSO). The results of the analysis show that the efficiency of pump usage has an effect on the fluid flow rate, it’s evident from the use of pumps to move crude oil in a pipeline resulting in an image with the highest stress value reaching 89 Pa at an efficiency value of 98%. criteria for safety factors that are allowed
