Testing temperature and pH stability of the catalase enzyme in the presence of inhibitors
The catalase enzyme is analyzed under different conditions in order to get a better understanding of its function, purpose and benefit to organisms. This enzyme resides in all living organisms that have exposure to oxygen. It uses hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as its substrate, and is responsible for breaking down H2O2 into oxygen and water, therefore neutralizing oxidative stress in the cells. Maintaining the levels of oxidative stress is highly important because of the impact that the reactive oxidative species (ROS) have on the cells. ROS damage cells by targeting DNA and proteins leading to various complications and illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases and they even have an impact on the process of aging. To determine the activity of the catalase enzyme and test its stability, different temperatures and pH were employed, along with examining the catalase behavior under the presence of ascorbic acid as an inhibitor. Three samples were used for this experiment: animal sample, plant sample and microorganisms. The indicator of the reaction which aided in the process of determining whether catalase is performing its function was the formation of gas bubbles in the test tubes, and the quantity of that indicator assisted in drawing conclusions about the enzyme activity. This study revealed that the optimum conditions for catalase enzyme activity tend to be 37 °C at a pH of 7, especially present in liver and yeast samples. Ascorbic acid has proven to be a valuable inhibitor of the catalase enzyme. Extremely high or low temperature, along with highly acidic or basic environments tend to alter the enzyme activity disallowing it to perform its key role
Deep learning model for cyber-attacks detection method in wireless sensor networks
Nowadays, electronic applications are being adopted instead of many traditional processes in data and information management that use Internet technology as a transmission medium. Therefore, these data and information suffer from different types of attacks that aim to destroy or steal them. One of these attacks is the cyber classification that can halt the whole system. In this paper, a cyber-attacks detector method is proposed based on deep learning technology for Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). This method adopts the behavior of the WSN\u27s nodes as well as the data transmission that depends on the MQTT protocol. The use of the deep learning model in this method improves the detection accuracy compared to traditional machine learning methods. The results demonstrate the efficiency of using the combination of deep learning CNN-LSTM techniques to be 96.02% in training accuracy and 95.08% for validation accuracy depending on the dataset of [1]. The machine learning model in [1] obtains an accuracy between 87% and 91% for the augmented dataset processes
Numerical modeling of the experimental test for shear strengthened of fire damaged high strength lightweight RC beams with SIFCON jacket
The behaviour of concrete structures when exposed to fire is essential because fire represents an excessive loading and critical structural case for any concrete structure. This paper discusses the adopted procedure for modelling and simulation of concrete beams that experimentally tested in the lab. Through using of ABAQUS program, a finite model of lightweight reinforced concrete beams was carried out under realistic fire circumstances. 14 Beam specimens with lightweight high strength types, before and after firing up to 600°C, and improvement with SIFCON jacketing technique, were simulated and compared with the experimental results. For both the displacement at mid span and the maximum load carrying capacity of the specimens, the absolute error between experimental and numerical values was determined. From the results, it can be seen that the minimum and maximum determined absolute error for specimens’ load carrying capacity was about 0.521% and 15.61%, respectively. on the other side, minimum and maximum determined absolute error for specimens’ displacement corresponded to the max load were 0.42% and 11.42%, respectively. accordingly, and since the estimated errors less than 15%, it can be said that the performed simulation process was accurate and successful when compared with other researchers’ studies. As a result, it was found that there is an agreement between the practical and theoretical findings of the study, and a helpful tool for predicting failure in the event of a fire occurrence is provided

The effect of geogrid reinforcement of embankment over soft foundation
This paper deals with the usage of geogrids for soil improvement utilizing the PLAXIS 3D FE program\u27s numerical analysis approach. Because of the low shear strength and instability of soft clay soils, reinforcement has been used to improve clay soils. The reinforcement mechanism was analyzed on the basis of results and output. The results of the program outputs are shown in PLAXIS. The reinforcement has little effect in the case of horizontal displacement and vertical displacement, but only a significant effect on the safety factor. This paper also deals with improving soft clay soil using stone columns. The main objective is to reduce settlement and increase the carrying capacity of the soil and shorten the consolidation period. The work investigates geogrid-reinforced stone columns that improved the behavior of soft clay soils under the influence of loading and construction. Underwent soil the stone columns testing covered with a geogrid and traffic load of 50 kpa. The improved method of using stone columns and PLAXIS 3D was used to create the FE model. The results concluded that the comparison results gave an improvement rate of up to 50 % of the improvement for the stone-column-reinforced clay soil in the construction phase.
Using Bayes Chart to control the qualitative characteristics of newborns Husain Fadhil Saber, Aida Hadi Saleh
In this study, we will deal with a set of measurable variables (properties) in the quality control charts in this study. There are many qualities whose quality cannot be determined by a single variable, but by a combina-tion of variables that collectively describe the quality of the unit under consideration. Because abnormal children account for a specific number of newly born children, it is necessary to investigate measurement rates for newborn children in order to understand the child\u27s health, which is the foundation of society\u27s health. As a result, the purpose of this study is to create a control chart that uses Bayes statistics, specifically a Bayes chart for qualitative. We will utilize the values of the final distribution in this chart because it incor-porates all of the information accessible during the decision-making process. In this research, a Bayes chart for the (Bnp) number is used to determine the quality of the examined unit. The unit examined in our re-search represents this newborn child. The research includes how to use the Bayes Theorem to find Bayes estimators for the parameters of the binomial distribution. The study of the control Chart (nP-Chart) uses Bayesian method, including five variables that represent the measurements of newborns, namely (weight, length, head circumference, chest circumference, arm circumference), where these measurements are rec-orded for (100) cases (child) randomly in Ibn Al-Baladi Hospital in Baghdad for the year (2017) and these observations are divided into (20) samples (set), and the set includes (5) views and these views consist of (52) males , (48) females. We find that predicting the final distribution of any number of observations is the mainstay in building a Bayes chart and making decisions about the progress of the process.

Hardware implementation of deception detection system classifier
Non-verbal features extracted from human face and body are considered as one of the most important indication for revealing the deception state. The Deception Detection System (DDS) is widely applied in different areas like: security, criminal investigation, terrorism detection …etc. In this study, fifteen features are extracted from each participant in the collected database. These features are related to three kinds of non-verbal features these are: facial expressions, head movements and eye gaze. The collected databased contain videos for 102 subjects and there are 888 clip related to both lie and truth response, these clips are used to train and test the system classifier. These fifteen features are placed in a single vector and applied to Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier to classify input feature vectors into one of two classes either liar or truth-teller class. The detection accuracy of the proposed DDS based on SVM classifier was equal to 89.6396%. Finally, the hardware implementation for SVM classifier is done using the Xilinx block set. The design requires 136 slices and 263 of 4 input LUTs. Moreover, the designed classifier doesn’t require any use of both flip-flops and MULT18X18SIOs. The selected hardware platform (FPGA kit) for implementing the SVM classifier is Spartan-3A 700A
A new methods of mobile object measurement by using radio frequency identification
In this study, the mobile robot conducts tag of RFID and the antennas’ reader was scattered at the indoor-outdoor environment, which represents the novelty of the study, as this has not been done in the previous studies. This protects the mobile robot from weight increase reduces the consumption of the battery. Moreover, mobile object increase demands an increase in cheap passive Radio Frequency Identification tags in the system of navigation. Techniques of Signal processing utilize both accompanied by the theories of electromagnetics in locating the robot’s position. Numerous antennas usage provides a breadth of comparisons. In this work, have been provide a new RFID tracking approach that can also be used for interior positioning. This technique employs RSS to gather the signal intensity of reference tags before they are used. The next step is to send a signal. Setting up Power Level ranges via reference tags uses strength as a setting parameter. Then, based on the intensity of the signal, you can determine how far away you are. Reference tags are used to match the signal intensity of track tags. Finally, when track tags are installed in indoor locations, they can be used to monitor the movement of people. It will use the arithmetic mean of the positions of surrounding reference tags to determine the location. Values. According to preliminary results from an experiment, our approach is more precise than the antenna system. Approximately 10 to 20 lines
