Requirements management in software development companies in Colombia
Get PDFSoftware requirements management is vital in the system analysis stage, so the methods used in software development companies in Colombia were analyzed. The study aimed to explore the techniques used in the software development industry in Colombia for requirements management. It was carried out through a mixed approach of descriptive depth, interviewing five Chief Information Officers (CIOs) in Bogota, Medellin, and Sincelejo. Natural language processing techniques were used for the analysis, finding similarities among the interviewees in terms of software requirements and a positive perception towards requirements analysis; however, differences in requirements management were identified. Companies use hybrid methodologies to develop software projects, integrating principles of agile methodologies and methods such as Scrum and Kanban, while keeping traditional approaches as a base. This trend has an impact on requirements management since it allows greater flexibility and adaptability in the project development process. 
How art can save poor rural landscape - A case study of Chongqing Jangjun Village
Get PDFSince the 21st century, with the rapid development of China\u27s economy, rural development has become an important issue to be addressed by the Chinese government, and art, as a unique cultural resource, is considered to have the potential to promote rural revitalization and sustainable development. This study will reveal the specific patterns and effects of art-enabled rural landscape revitalization in Jiangjun Village, Chongqing through interviews and observations in a case study of the village. The study draws the following conclusions: Firstly, artistic empowerment has brought vitality to Jiangjun Village, creating a rural landscape with an artistic and cultural atmosphere that attracts more tourists and resources. Secondly, artistic empowerment stimulates the development of rural tourism and improves the quality of life of villagers, thus promoting rural revitalization and sustainable development. This study provides valuable development strategies for the revitalization and development of art-enabled rural landscapes, as well as new ideas and practices to learn from for China\u27s rural revitalization and sustainable development in other regions and the world
Innovative technologies in fiscal policy as a driver of digital transformations of the Ukrainian economy
Get PDFThis article presents the results of a study of the impact of the level of digital technology development in the sphere of Ukraine\u27s fiscal policy on the digital transformation of the economy as a whole. Since the digitalization of the economy determines not only the level of possibilities for its integration into the global economic space but also the level of ensuring the competitiveness of all components of complex economic systems, the digitalization of the economy is an objective necessity, that is, the degree of sustainability of the monetary system depends on the level of digitalization. Since Ukraine has chosen the scenario of primacy in introducing innovative technologies in the fiscal policy sphere, other sectors of the economy should use the experience gained from the budgetary system to implement innovations. To obtain optimal data on the degree of readiness of the fiscal system to become a source of such knowledge and other components of the economy to accept the data obtained, a cross-sectional study was conducted, which involved business representatives, taxpayers, students of economic specialties, employees of state administration and local government bodies and employees of tax and customs authorities. As a result of the study, index characteristics were obtained in four areas of research: fiscal policy, business and finance, digital state, problems, and prospects of digitalization of the economy. According to the results obtained, employees of tax and customs authorities can participate in the process of transferring positive experience in the field of digitalization of economic processes to other sectors of the economy
Measuring the impact of imports on the gross domestic product in Iraq for the period 2004-2021
Get PDFThe research was conducted to ascertain the impact of imports on Iraq\u27s GDP, which is a critical element in the development of economic policies and strategies. The study demonstrated that imports had a detrimental impact on Iraq\u27s GDP in both the short and long term by employing the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to examine the relationship between imports and domestic product. According to the short-term elasticity value of (-0.24), the increase in imports resulted in a 24% decrease in GDP in Iraq, with a minor 1% offset in other sectors. This decrease in GDP underscores the substantial influence that an increase in imports can have on a nation\u27s overall economic performance. This research emphasises the significance of evaluating the effects of import trends on technological advancements, resource allocation, and infrastructure projects in Iraq. Engineers and policymakers can strive to create sustainable solutions that foster domestic production, innovation, and economic growth in the long term by acknowledging the detrimental impacts of excessive imports on GDP
Estimation of stresses on 155mm artillery projectiles during launch phase using numerical simulations
Get PDFThe paper provides an overview of research (analytical, numerical, and experimental methods) related to the stress state of artillery projectiles during movement through the barrel of the weapon. The characteristics of the 155mm HERA M549 and 155mm HE M795 projectiles, used in numerical simulations, are described. As a main goal of the research, numerical simulations were performed with the 155mm projectiles to determine the maximum equivalent stresses that occur during the launch of this ammunition. The obtained values were compared with the yield limit of the materials of the projectile components, in order to assess whether the plastic deformation would occur during the launch phase
Financial education from elementary school, a perspective to today
Get PDFRegular basic education imparts knowledge based on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and reading; Additionally, and depending on the type of educational institution, other knowledge is imparted such as religion, arts, historical and social sciences, study of geography, universal history, education and civics, etc. This leads us to reflect on the type of education that is being promoted for school children today, which is not bad if all plans are fulfilled, but what happens when money is not enough until the end of the month, or when there are problems to pay the mortgage, or when there is uncertainty about the cost of living, taxes, interests. There is a crisis within a crisis, all of this demonstrates the lack of good financial education. Therefore, through the qualitative approach, we resorted to the phenomenological-hermeneutic design, and the objective was to explore the financial education provided in elementary school, and how this has served to survive during the post-school stage. The population of interest was the graduates of public and private schools, as well as professionals dedicated to teaching of the same generation. The participants expressed their opinions and beliefs on the relevance and necessity of including financial education in the school curriculum from an early age. The study provides information on these experiences, providing a basis for establishing corrective measures and formulating guidelines to promote its teaching at some pre-professional preparatory stage
Optimal emission plan for independent power producers using generation mix to meet Saudi Arabia environmental goals
Get PDFThe production and use of energy in today\u27s world is heavily reliant on fossil fuels, which is associated with several economic and environmental problems. This study addresses the possibilities of integrating fossil fuel generators with renewable energy systems utilizing various mix-generating scenarios while act as a new emission pricing approach, in line with the current trend towards renewable energy. The suggested carbon incentive scheme includes carbon taxes, carbon permits, and tiers of carbon emissions restrictions (emission factors). The approach seeks to lessen the damaging effects of CO2 emissions on the environment and to compel energy providers to cut back on fossil fuel output and carbon dioxide production. The study, which exclusively analyzes independent Power Producers (IPPs), looks at many desalination facilities in Saudi Arabia that are situated along the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea coasts for 40 years, from 2025 to 2064. The primary objective of the article is to support the best generation mix, taking into account the suggested carbon pricing technique and renewable energy-producing technologies like wind turbines and solar cells, at the chosen locations. The impact of integrating renewable energy on overall costs, including the new price for carbon emissions, is also examined in this study. The impact of various tariffs on supporting the production of renewable energy is covered in the study. The study addresses as well fossil fuel costs. Accordingly, these cost effects on the development of renewable energy sources are investigated additionally. This research has produced a control emission plan for achieving the CO2 limit. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia\u27s objectives to achieve zero carbon emissions by 2064 are obtained and presented in a case study. In this suggested work, every case study is modeled using the simulation tool HOMER-GRID
Motives for using critical thinking skills among gifted and non-gifted adolescent students
Get PDFThis study aimed to identify the motives for using critical thinking skills among gifted and non-gifted students. A measure of motivation for using critical thinking skills prepared by Valenzuela & et al., 2011 was used, which includes two dimensions: motivation for use based on expectation and value. The results showed that the level of motives for using critical thinking skills among gifted students was high, while the level was medium among non-gifted students. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the dimension of expectation and the total degree of the motives of use due to gender in favor of male students. The study also found statistically significant differences in the dimensions (expectation, value) and the total score of the motives of use due to the classification of students (gifted or non-gifted) in favor of gifted students. The study recommended teachers and curriculum developers to find strategies and activities that would raise the level of motivation for critical thinking among non-gifted and female students
The impact of corporate governance on the quality of accounting information and its reflection on the share prices of companies listed on the Iraqi stock exchange
Get PDF The study\u27s overarching goal is to provide light on the connections between corporate governance processes and the financial information provided by company executives. Highlighting the impact of these mechanisms on the reliability of financial reporting and how this influences stock price movements is one of the secondary goals. In order to achieve our goals and address our questions, we relied on the descriptive analytical technique. Additionally, the researcher drafted and sent surveys to the study\u27s participants, who were well-informed individuals with extensive backgrounds in either working for or investing in major companies traded on the Iraqi Stock Exchange. The study\u27s sample size was determined using the random sampling procedure; a total of 168 questionnaires were included in the final count after 180 were sent out and returned. The research concluded, among other things, that "there is a statistically significant effect of corporate governance on corporate prices" after examining the data and evaluating the hypotheses. Stocks, even after accounting data quality is considered as a mediator variable. Corporate governance has an indirect impact on stock prices via its effect on accounting information quality, according to the path analysis. Our research shows that both corporate governance and accounting information quality significantly affect stock prices, with accounting information quality mediating the relationship between the two. Accounting information quality has a statistically noteworthy effect on stock prices. With a big (t) value (6.35), the influence factor (beta) for relative importance is statistically significant with a value of 0.000. Meaning that both relative importance and corporate governance have a direct and statistically significant impact on stock prices and accounting information quality, respectively. A positive and statistically noteworthy effect on accounting information quality is shown by internal governance mechanisms, which have an effect size (beta) of 0.318, a t-value of 5.64, and a p-value of 0.000. There is a positive and statistically substantial outcome of external governance systems, as shown by their impact factor (beta) of 0.397, t value of 6.31, and significance level of 0.000. The beta impact factor (beta) for internal governance procedures is 0.198, the t-value is 2.49, and the significance level is 0.014, all of which point to a positive and statistically significant effect on stock prices. This study is useful in the account systems of many companies, including industrial engineering companies

After reviewing many studies on neurofinance, we conclude that researchers debate about neurofinance in the early stages, but the results reached by most researchers are that neurofinance is of wide interest by researchers in financial management, and this research is important not only for reviewing previous studies, but rather a guide to assist researchers and scholars interested in this topic by collecting and analyzing previous studies
