Analisis Engagement konten Akun Instagram Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (@uajy) menggunakan Mixed Methods
Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat engagement dan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap konten media sosial pada akun Instagram resmi Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (@uajy) dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Pendekatan mixed methods digunakan dengan mengombinasikan analisis kuantitatif metrik interaksi (likes, komentar, dan bagikan) serta wawancara mendalam dengan mahasiswa pengikut Instagram. Sebanyak 837 unggahan periode 2023–2025 dianalisis dan dikelompokkan ke dalam tiga kategori: prestasi, motivasi, serta berita dan informasi kampus. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kategori berita kampus mendominasi frekuensi unggahan, sedangkan konten prestasi non-akademik menghasilkan tingkat engagement tertinggi. Konten berbasis foto memperoleh rata-rata interaksi lebih tinggi dibandingkan video. Secara kualitatif, mahasiswa menilai akun cukup informatif, visualnya menarik, dan bahasanya mudah dipahami, namun perlu peningkatan pada ketepatan waktu publikasi dan interaktivitas. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kombinasi konten informatif, inspiratif, dan apresiatif untuk memperkuat komunikasi digital universitas serta menjadi dasar perancangan strategi konten yang lebih variatif dan berbasis data.

Abstract. This study analyzes engagement levels and student perception of social media content on the official Instagram account of Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (@uajy). A mixed-methods approach was applied by combining quantitative analysis of interaction metrics (likes, comments, and shares) with in-depth interviews involving student followers of Instagram. A total of 837 posts published between 2023 and 2025 were categorized into three content types: achievements, motivational posts, and campus news and information. The results indicate that campus news dominated posting frequency, while non-academic achievement content generated the highest engagement levels. Photo-based posts achieved slightly higher average interactions than videos. Qualitative findings reveal that students perceive the account as informative, visually appealing, and easy to understand, although improvements are needed in posting timeliness and interactivity. Overall, combining informative, inspirational, and appreciative content is essential to strengthen digital communication and to support the development of more data-driven and engaging university social media strategies.

Hidup Minimalis dan Hidup Bahagia untuk Mencapai Kesejahteraan Finansial
This study investigates the influence of minimalism on happiness by examining the mediating role of financial well-being. The research is motivated by the increasing prevalence of consumerism in the digital era and the rise of minimalism as a counter-lifestyle that promotes simplicity, intentional consumption, and disciplined financial behavior. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to 385 respondents from Generation Y and Generation Z. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that minimalism has a significant positive effect on financial well-being and happiness. Financial well-being is also found to significantly predict happiness and mediate the relationship between minimalism and happiness, suggesting that minimalist practices enhance emotional clarity while simultaneously strengthening financial security. These findings expand the theoretical understanding of lifestyle behaviors and their impact on subjective well-being, highlighting financial well-being as a crucial mechanism through which minimalism contributes to happiness. Practically, this study provides insights for individuals, educators, and policymakers to encourage simple living and financially responsible behavior as effective strategies for improving overall quality of life.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh minimalisme terhadap kebahagiaan dengan mempertimbangkan peran kesejahteraan finansial sebagai variabel mediasi. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari meningkatnya gaya hidup konsumtif di era digital serta tren minimalisme yang berkembang sebagai respons terhadap tekanan materialistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 385 responden Generasi Y dan Generasi Z, kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minimalisme berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan finansial dan kebahagiaan. Selain itu, kesejahteraan finansial ditemukan memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kebahagiaan serta berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara minimalisme dan kebahagiaan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa gaya hidup minimalis tidak hanya memberikan manfaat psikologis, tetapi juga meningkatkan keamanan finansial yang pada akhirnya mendorong tercapainya kebahagiaan. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini memperluas literatur mengenai hubungan antara gaya hidup, kesejahteraan finansial, dan kebahagiaan. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian memberikan implikasi bagi individu, lembaga pendidikan, dan pembuat kebijakan untuk mendorong penerapan gaya hidup yang lebih sederhana dan bijak secara finansial sebagai strategi peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Exploring Gender-Based Preferences in TikTok Influencer Following Among Students at University of Technology
The rise of short-form video platforms has fundamentally changed patterns of digital communication, with TikTok becoming a dominant influence in youth media consumption. However, gender-specific preferences in influencer choice remain underexamined, especially within African university settings. Based on Uses and Gratifications Theory (UGT), this qualitative exploratory study investigates how gender affects TikTok influencer following behaviours among 103 South African university students who were active TikTok users. Data were gathered via open-ended online questionnaires and analysed through Qualitative Content Analysis with dual-researcher coding to ensure reliability. Significant gender-based differences appeared in influencer preferences and motivational factors: male students (61% of the sample) mainly followed educational, motivational, and entrepreneurial influencers, seeking cognitive gratifications related to skill development and career prospects, while female students (39% of the sample) inclined towards lifestyle, beauty, and fashion influencers, prioritising affective gratifications like emotional resonance, identity exploration, and self-expression. Despite these differences, both groups valued influencer authenticity, relatability, and expertise over follower count or popularity metrics. The findings extend UGT application to algorithm-driven, short-form video platforms and show how gender influences digital media gratification-seeking behaviours, revealing TikTok as a multifaceted tool for identity building, emotional validation, and aspirational learning rather than just entertainment. These results inform gender-sensitive digital marketing, educational technology integration, and culturally relevant content creation for African youth markets, allowing universities to use these insights for more effective student engagement on social media. The study's focus on a single institution and its cross-sectional design limit broad applicability, indicating that future research should explore long-term influencer relationships and cross-cultural comparisons across African educational contexts.

Awareness on the Use of the Outer Lane for the Safety of Motorcycle Riders of Criminology Students
This study investigates the awareness of criminology students at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) regarding the use of outer lanes to enhance motorcycle safety. Motorcycle-related accidents are a significant global concern, and proper lane usage is a critical factor in improving rider safety. Despite various advancements in road safety and regulations, the importance of outer lanes for motorcycles remains insufficiently emphasized. Using a quantitative research design, this study surveyed 100 criminology students who ride motorcycles, examining their understanding of traffic laws regarding outer-lane use. The results indicate a generally high awareness of the role of outer lanes in improving safety, with respondents particularly recognizing their importance for slow-moving vehicles. However, awareness regarding specific regulations, such as speed limits in the outer lane, was less pronounced. The findings suggest that further educational efforts, particularly on speed limits and specific traffic laws, are necessary to enhance motorcycle riders' overall safety awareness. The study recommends targeted campaigns and community outreach to address awareness gaps and improve compliance with safety regulations among motorcycle riders

This study examined the prevalence and forms of cyberbullying experienced by criminology students at Good Samaritan Colleges in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, with the goal of designing intervention strategies to support students impacted by online abuse. Using a descriptive research design and survey questionnaires, the researchers collected responses from criminology students about their exposure to harassment, threats, rumors, and other harmful behaviors on digital platforms such as Facebook, Messenger, and TikTok. Findings revealed that a considerable number of students encountered cyberbullying, often resulting in emotional distress, anxiety, and negative impacts on academic performance. The study further identified commonly used coping behaviors, including ignoring messages, blocking perpetrators, and seeking support from peers or family. However, many victims lacked access to formal support systems or institutional responses. Based on these results, the researchers proposed a school-based intervention plan consisting of awareness workshops, digital citizenship training, strengthened reporting mechanisms, and peer-support initiatives. By addressing cyberbullying through coordinated preventive and responsive measures, the study aims to promote a safer digital environment and improve student well-being within criminology programs
Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Padukuhan Kemadang Kulon Melalui Inovasi Pangan Lokal dan Strategi Pemasaran Olahan Singkong
This community service activity aims to empower women's groups of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) in utilizing cassava (telo) as a valuable food ingredient through training in making steamed caramelized bingka telo. Cassava was chosen because of its high carbohydrate content (~34.7g/100g) and potential for food product diversification. The method used was a participatory practical demonstration (70%) and theory (30%). Participants followed the steps of making bingka cake based on a predetermined local recipe, including the process of making sugar caramel and the steam-baking mechanism. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in processing cassava into new products. The women were able to make caramelized bingka telo with a variety of flavors and attractive decorations. Additional activities such as selecting a product logo and planning a selling price also provided practical entrepreneurial experience. This program successfully increased local food production capacity and awareness of family economic values. With an innovative approach and sustainable support, it is hoped that similar activities can continue to be developed to improve family economies and food security based on local potential
Pembuatan Biofertilizer sebagai Penunjang Pendapatan di SLB-C Karya Bakti, Purworejo
The growing global population demands increased food productivity, which can be achieved using fertilizers. However, inorganic fertilizers harm the environment and leave chemical residues, making organic and biofertilizers a sustainable alternative. This initiative aims to enhance skills and inclusive learning for students with special needs while increasing economic and educational value, particularly in biofertilizer production at SLB-C Karya Bhakti, Purworejo. Biofertilizers contain beneficial microorganisms that support soil fertility and plant growth by breaking down nutrients, boosting disease resistance, and enhancing plant development. Unlike chemical fertilizers, biofertilizers are environmentally friendly and leave no harmful residues. They are produced using growth media like husks and fermented through solid-state or submerged fermentation methods. Proper packaging, such as vacuum sealing or PET-nylon-PP materials, is essential to maintain microbial viability and quality. At SLB-C Karya Bhakti, biofertilizers support plant growth in the school garden, actively involving students with special needs. Their use enhances food literacy, influences dietary choices, and improves economic conditions within the school. Additionally, this initiative fosters health and social development among students with disabilities, empowering them with valuable agricultural skills for a more inclusive and sustainable future
Implementasi dan Pelatihan SIWAREK serta Solar Home System bagi Pokdarwis Opak Grembyangan
The Tourism Awareness Group or Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) of Mutihan, Madurejo Village, Prambanan, is pioneering the development of a tourism area along the Opak River. The main challenges faced include the lack of lighting facilities and difficulties in operating food stalls, although the buildings are already available. The community service team, in collaboration with local partners, initiated two main programs: the installation of a Solar Home System (SHS) to provide access to clean energy and reduce dependency on the state electricity grid (PLN), and training on financial management and digitalization for stall operations. The implementation methods included program socialization, financial management training, development of a stall information system, SHS installation, SHS operation training, as well as program monitoring and evaluation. As a result, a stall financial system named Sistem Informasi Keuangan Warung Opak (SIWAREK) was developed, and two SHS units were installed at the tourism site to supply renewable energy. The financial management and information system training provide a strong foundation for Pokdarwis to operate the food stalls. Peran IT Business Partner dalam Pengembangan Landing Page Menggunakan Framework Waterfall di PT XYZ
Transformasi digital dalam industri pembiayaan membawa dorongan bagi perusahan untuk memiliki stategi digital yang efektif, salah satunya melalui adanya pengembangan landing page. Agar strategi itu dapat berjalan secara optimal, perlu adanya keterlibatan aktif dari sebuah tim untuk membantu implementasi strategi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran IT Business Partner (ITBP) dalam proyek pengemabangan landing page menggunakan framework waterfall di PT XTZ. Dalam konteks ini peran ITBP di perusahaan atau sektor lain dikenal juga sebagai Project Manager. ITBP sendiri berperan sebagai penghubung anatar kebutuhan bisnis dan teknologi, serta penanggung jawab dalam koordinasi tim, pengelolaan sumber daya, hingga pengendalian risiko proyek. Melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur kepada tim terlibat dalam proyek dan analaisis yang dilakukan menggunakan skala Likert untuk mengukur keterlibatan ITBP pada setiap tahapan berdasarkan model waterfall, diperoleh hasil yang menunjukan bahwa ITBP memiliki peran signifikan terutama pada proses tahapan perencanaan, review Business Requirement Documment (BRD), diskusi lintas tim, hingga pengawalan proses implementasi. Keterlibatan dari peran ITBP tersebut terbukti mampu meningkatkan efektivitas koordinasi antar tim serta mengurangi risiko kesalahpahaman dalam proses pengembangan sistem
Pemanfaatan E-learning dan Kecerdasan Buatan untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Materi dan Evaluasi Pembelajaran pada Pendidikan Dasar
E-learning has been proven to significantly improve the quality of learning. This ICT-based learning allows the teaching and learning process to take place anywhere and anytime (ubiquitous learning). Furthermore, artificial intelligence (AI) can be applied to improve the quality of teaching materials and evaluation process. In this community service program (PkM), we implemented AI-assisted e-learning in the teaching and learning process at Sawah Elementary School, Panggang, Gunung Kidul. To this end, we first built the ICT infrastructure to support e-learning. A computer server was installed using Moodle as the learning management system (LMS). Following this, a series of training sessions were held, including Moodle administrator training for one teacher, digital classroom management and Moodle question creation training for all teachers, and Moodle training for students, which included online quizzes. At the end of the PkM, we conducted an evaluation with the teachers and students to measure their abilities and responses after all the training. Although teachers and students’ abilities on average showed average results in Moodle and AI mastery, their satisfaction with the training was very high, and they expected that this training could continue in the coming years
