Respon Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Mentimun (cucumis sativus L.) Varietas Zatavy F1 terhadap Nutrisi Berbeda pada Sistem Hidroponik
This study aims to determine the effect of fertilizing nutrients that can increase the growth and yield of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) with hydroponic techniques. The research was conducted at the screen house of the Biotechnology Lab Research and Development Division of PT East West Seed Indonesia, in Benteng Village, Campaka District, Purwakarta Regency. This research was conducted in December 2017 until March 2018. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with 9 replications. Planting factor is a nutrient solution consisting of N1 enza nutrition, N2 alfesindo nutrition, and N3 ewindo nutrition. Parameters observed were plant height, plant dry weight, fruit length, fruit diameter, number of planted fruit and crop fruit weight. The media used in this study was roasted husk charcoal. The results showed that the response of nutrient solutions was significantly different from observations of plant height, whereas the response of nutrient solutions to observations of dry weight, fruit length, fruit diameter, number of fruit plantations and fruit weight of plantations were not significantly different. The results showed that the best nutritional solution was ewindo nutritional solution
Respons Tanaman Jagung (Zea mays l.) Terhadap Pemberian Kombinasi Pupuk Anorganik dan Pupuk Organik Fermentasi (Porasi) Kotoran Sapi
This study aims to determine the dose combinations of inorganic fertilizers and the fermentation of organic cow dung that respond well to corna. This research was conducted by August to November 2020, in the experimental garden of the Agriculture Faculty, Siliwangi University, Mugarsari Village, Tamansari District, Tasikmalaya City with a height of 360 meters above sea level (m asl). The study used a randomized block design (RBD) with 6 treatments and was repeated 4 times. Dose tested P0 = control (without being given fertilizer), P1 = Poration of cow dung 20 t / ha, P2 = NPK 300 kg / ha, P3 = NPK 250 kg / ha + cow dung poration 5 t / ha, P4 = NPK 200 kg / ha + poration of cow dung 10 t / ha and P5 = NPK 150 kg / ha + poration of cow dung 15 t / ha. The results showed that the application of NPK fertilizer and cow dung could be responded to by corns, with the results of statistical analysis that was significantly different on plant height at 18 DAS, weight of 100 seeds and shelled weight per hectare
Perbandingan Model Regresi untuk Pengukuran Luas Daun Gandum di Daerah Tropis
The growth of wheat plants can be determined by measuring leaf area index and net assimilation rate. Both measurements require leaf area data. Measurement of leaf area of wheat in Indonesia requires a method that is not only accurate, but also easier and cheaper. One of them is the regression method. The purpose of this study was to determine an accurate regression equation model in predicting wheat leaf area. This research was conducted from March to June 2021 at the Experimental Station and Plant Production Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, UNPAD, Jatinangor, Sumedang. The materials used in this study were various leaf area printing papers from wheat plants aged 14 days after planting (DAP), 28 DAP, and 42 DAP. The regression equation was assembled from the relationship between leaf area with leaf width and length, then compared with the actual leaf area that measured by scanning. The results showed that the linear, quadratic, cubic, and logarithmic regression equations had a coefficient of determination of more than 90% to predict leaf area, at the age of 14, 28, and 42 DAP, as well as all plant ages. Quadratic regression had a limit of data that can be entered, so it needed circumspection in using the formula. Cubic regression tended to have better accuracy in predicting leaf area at 14, 28, and 42 DAP, but the accuracy was the same as other regression equations at all plant ages
PENGABDIAN PADA MASYARAKAT SOSIALISASI PENTINGNYA POLA HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT DALAM RANGKA MENINGKATKAN KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT DESA PASIRNANJUNG KECAMATAN CIMANGGUNG KABUPATEN SUMEDANG
Saat ini, masyarakat seharusnya sudah memahami arti pentingnya pola hidup bersih dan sehat untuknya masyarakat pada umumnya dan untuk diri sendiri pada khususnya. Namun, saat penulis berkunjung ke Desa Pasirnanjung Kecamatan Cimanggung Kabupaten Sumedang, penulis melihat masih banyak masyarakat yang kurang menyadari dan bahkan menindahkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat tersebut. Makan dengan lauk seadanya, perolehan gizi untuk anak-anak tidak diperhatikan, tingkat kesadaran imunisasi yang rendah, jarang memeriksakan kehamilan untuk ibu-ibu hamil, juga rata-rata tidak memerhatikan kebersihan MCK (mandi cuci kakus) yang ada di rumah masing-masing. Padahal jika dikaji lebih dalam, ini akan sangat berpengaruh pada kehidupan mereka di masa yang akan datang. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah tidak lain untuk mengajak warga Desa Pasirnajung untuk lebih menyadari betapa pentingnya pola hidup bersih dan sehat untuk kehidupan yang akan datang. Penyuluhan dilakukan di Desa Pasirnanjung Kecamatan Cimanggung Kabupaten Sumedang dari dilakukan dalam kurun waktu 2 kali pertemuan. Teknik pelaksanaannya menggunakan teknik metode penyuluhan dan peninjauan hasil penyuluhan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dibiayai oleh LPPM Universitas Winaya Mukti. Capaian output yang dihasilkan berdasarkan kegiatan penyuluhan yaitu terjadi perubahan sikap hidup yang lebih memerhatikan hidup bersih dan sehat
ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKTIVITAS PADA PENGRAJIN DI SENTRA TAS RANSEL MARGAHAYU TENGAH BANDUNG
Peningkatan produktivitas merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting. Meningkatnya produktivitas akan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pendapatan tenaga kerja dan peningkatan pendapatan keluarga. Jadi, peningkatan produktivitas membawa dampak positif terhadap kesejahteraan para pengrajin. Desa Margahayu Kabupaten Bandung merupakan daerah dimana sebanyak 15 orang pengrajin tas sebagai sampel yang digunakan. Meningkatkan produktivitas pengrajin tas ransel di Desa Margahayu merupakan tujuan dari analisis ini. Wawancara mendalam dan observasi non partisipan merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa teridentifikasi produktivitas industri rumahan tas ransel di Desa Margahayu Tengah yang dipengaruhi oleh umur, pengalaman kerja, dan teknologi yang digunakan di Sentra Tas Ransel di Desa Margahayu Tengah Kabupaten Bandung. Pelaku produktivitas di industri tas ransel di Desa Margahayu Tengah sebaiknya mengembangkan dan meningkatkan produktivitas para pengrajin, dan melakukan pengembangan inovatif dari segi prosedur dan fasilitas produksi, sehingga dapat mengembangkan produktivitas kerja yang lebih baik
PERBANDINGAN ANTARA KETEGUHAN REKAT LEM PUTIH DENGAN LEM KUNING PADA KARPET KAYU
Wooden carpets are one of the products made of woody materials glued on the textiles. The wooden part can be in the form of plywood or solid wood, while the textiles as a carpet backing serves as a link between the pieces of woody material that make up the carpet. Compared to fabric carpets, wood carpets have several advantages in terms of health and maintenance. Wood carpet generally include woody material, fabrics, glue and finishing materials. The glue serves as an adhesive between woody material and fabric. The shear strength of glue adhesives has an important role in wood carpet products. In the local market there are several types of glue such as white glue (Polyvinyl Acetate) and yellow glue (Synthetic Rubber). The purpose of this study was to compare the shear strength of white and yellow glue. It is expected that people can choose the type of glue that is more suitable for wood carpets. The research data was tabulated and analysed by paired t-test. The results showed that the shear strength of white and yellow glue using manual clamps were 27.95 kg cm-2 and 13.78 kg cm-2 respectively. The shear strength of white glue strongly differ with those of yellow glue, and greather two times than the yellow one.  In making or producing wooden carpets, it is recommanded to use white glue instead of yellow one and can apply manual clamps. However, for better results, it is recommended to apply a press machine
PENGARUH WAKTU PEMBAHARUAN SADAPAN POHON PINUS (Pinus merkusii) PADA UMUR BERBEDA TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS GETAH
Pine sap exploitation is growing because demand for pine sap in Indonesia and the world is increasing. Pine sap productivity is influenced by several factors including tapping, tree species, diameter, and age of stands. In the tapping method, one of them is the renewal time of tapping with the quarre system which is supposed to save the tapping area and get the maximum sap. This paper studies the effect of the renewal of the pine tree tapping at different ages on the productivity of the sap. The proposed method is a survey with a purposive sample determination with 3 different treatments, namely treatment A of the 3-day quarre renewal, treatment B of the 5-day quarre renewal, and treatment of the renewal of the 7-day quarre by administering stimulants. Performed at different age classes IV, VI, and VIII. Field observational data is then processed using a factorial Completely Randomized Plan analysis with two factors. The results showed that the renewal of quarre had a significant effect on the average productivity of pine tree sap at 95% confidence intervals (α = 0.05). The highest average productivity on treatment B renewal of 5 days quarre was 12.17 grams /quarre/day at age classes VI and the lowest average productivity was at treatment C of renewal of 7 days with 4.61 grams /quarre/day at age classes IV
ANALISIS KEKUATAN PATAH DAN DAYA SERAP AIR PAPAN KOMBINASI SERAT DENGAN LAMINASI BAMBU BETUNG (Dendrocalamus asper)
The problem faced by the wood processing industry in Indonesia today is the shortage of wood raw materials. This occurs because the speed at which timber is used is not balance with the speed at which new stands are build. Meanwhile, the need for wood for furniture, building materials and other needs continues to increase in line with population growth. Therefore, it is necessary to find alternative raw materials for the wood processing industry. Bamboo is one material that can be use for this purpose. Bamboo is a long fiber and has advantages in terms of the harvest period, namely within 3-4 years it can be harvested, shorter than 8-20 years for fast-growing timber species. In this research, a combination of fiber and laminate boards with epoxy adhesive. The material used is the type of betung bamboo (Dendrocalamus asper) and then tested on the combination of fiber and laminated bamboo boards there are 3 tests, namely fracture strength, absorption capacity and density. The results of this research indicate that from the treatment of 255g adhesive and 127.5g of fiber has a higher average compared to 127.5g of adhesive and 255g of fiber. From the test results, the combination of fiberboards and laminate boards as HDF (Hard Dencity Fiberboard) classified which can be used for materials for making adhesive walls, ceilings, pinyi and containers. However, in contrast to the 127.5g adhesive and 255g fiber treatment included in the MDF (Medium Dencity fiberboard) classification, furniture such as household appliances, molding, window frames, door skins and car dashboards are used
STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN WISATA ALAM DI WANA WISATA CURUG CITAMBUR KPH CIANJUR
Forest provides enormous and varied benefits to human life, such as enviromental services in the form of tourism services. The tourism potential is quite large, including BKPH Cibarengkok with the tourism potential of citambur waterfall. The exsistence of the Wana Wisata Citambur (WWC) still requires attention for development, especially in attraction, activities, facilities, accesibility and services for both domestic and foreign tourist destination. This study aims to determine how the rating based on visitor ratings of tourist attraction, facilities, accessibility and services. How is the position of the citambur waterfall tourism area in the SWOT quadrant, and knowing how the strategies that must be applied in the citambur waterfall tourism area. Types of data consist of primary data obtained through observation, questionnaires and interviews. While secondary data comes from literature and research reports. The method used is a SWOT analysis, namely the instrument used to perform a strategy analysis. The results showed that based on the assessment of visitor ratings on attractiveness, facilities, accessibility, and services, some visitors were satisfied with a percentage of 47%. Based on the results of the analysis on the SWOT quadrant, the citambur waterfall tourism object is in quadrant two, namely between the strength and threat (ST) strategy. ST strategy (strength and threat) strategy that uses strength and overcomes threats. a) further increase the exsisting attractions and can create new creative attractions so that they can compete with other tourist objects around the citambur waterfall, b) maintaining the conditions of the citambur waterfall tourist attraction, c) optimizing the natural potential and uniqueness of tourism objects to face tourism object competition.Â
Pengaruh Dosis Limbah Biogas Sapi terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Kangkung Darat (Ipomea reptans Poir.) Varietas Rajawali dan Ta Fung
This experiment aims to study the interaction and find the dosage of cow biogas waste that gives the best effect on the growth and yield of ground spinach plants of Rajawali and Ta Fung varieties. This experiment was carried out from July to September 2020, in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Winaya Mukti Tanjungsari University, Sumedang Regency. The experimental design used was the Split Plot Design which consisted of 10 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment consisted of 2 levels, namely the main plot in the form of Rajawali variety and Ta Fung variety, while the sub plot was in the form of a dose of cow biogas waste consisting of 0 tons. Ha-1, 5 tons.ha-1, 10 tons.ha-1, 15 tons. ha-1 and 20 ton.ha-1. The results of this experiment showed that there was no interaction between variety and cow biogas waste on all observed parameters, independently Variety had an effect on plant height at the age of 14 day after planting while cow biogas waste had an effect on fresh weight per plant and fresh weight per plot. Ta Fung variety gave the best plant height at 14 day after planting, while cow biogas waste with a dose of 15 tonnes.ha-1 gave the best fresh weight per plant and fresh weight per plot
