    Pengaruh Aplikasi Larutan Hara A dan B Ke Daun Dan Macam Teknologi Pemupukan Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Cabai Merah Besar (Capsicum annum L.) Varietas Baja F1

    This research was conducted from May to September 2022 in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Padjadjaran University, Jatinangor District, Sumedang Regency, at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. This study aims to study the interaction between the application of nutrient solution to the leaves and the type of fertilizer on the growth and yield of large red chili (Capsicum annum L.) Baja F1 variety. The Environmental Design used a Split plot design consisting of two treatments which were repeated 4 times. The main plot was application of nutrient solution to leaves (F) which consisted of two levels: f0 (without application) and f1 (application of nutrient solution to leaves every 10 days). Subplots were the fertilization technology (M) which consisted of four levels: m0 (nutrient solution), m1 (4 tons ha-1 cow compost), m2 (6 kg ha-1 bioamelioran) and m3 (4 tons ha-1 amelioran plus) ). The experimental results showed an interaction between the application of nutrient solution to leaves and the type of fertilizer on growth (plant height 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 WAP, number of leaves 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 WAP, stem diameter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 WAP) and yield (number of fruits per plant and weight per fruit) of chili plants. Application of nutrient solution to leaves and bioamelioran showed the best results on growth (plant height at 2, 3, 4, and 5 WAP, number of leaves at 1, 2, 3 and 4 WAP, stem diameter 4 and 5 WAP) and yield of chili plants ( number of fruits per plant). The type of amelioran plus fertilizer without the application of nutrient solution to the leaves gave the best results on the growth of chili plants (plant height at 1 WAP, number of leaves at 5 WAP, and stem diameters of 1, 2, and 3 WAP). Types of bioamelioran fertilizers without the application of nutrient solution to the leaves give the best results on chili plant yield (weight per fruit).     The market demand for purebred chicken meat is quite large in line with the increasing population and awareness of the importance of fulfilling nutrition in health. Almost all types of society can consume this type of food as a source of animal protein. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the price of purebred chicken meat, the price of purebred chicken eggs, the price of cooking oil, consumer income, number of family members and consumer tastes on the demand for purebred chicken meat in Bandung City simultaneously and partially. The research method used is a quantitative method with interview and observation techniques. The strategy used in this research is the survey method. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis. Factors that influence the demand for purebred chicken meat were simultaneously tested using the F test while partially using the t test. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the price of purebred chicken meat, consumer income and number of family members are proven to have a significant influence on the demand for purebred chicken meat in Bandung City Market, while the Price of Purebred Chicken Eggs, Cooking Oil Prices and Consumer Tastes are proven to have no effect on the Demand for Purebred Chicken Meat in the Bandung City Market.     The development of horticultural farming through agribusiness partnerships can serve as a solution to farmers' limitations in managing agricultural risks. Partnerships have the potential to improve farming productivity and ensure price certainty. However, in some instances, partnership practices may give rise to issues such as dependency and weakened bargaining power for farmers. This research aims to investigate and analyze the potential for enhancing the performance of horticultural farming through the development of agribusiness partnership models in the Sidoluhur Farmers' Group, Cabeyan Village, Sukoharjo District. The research methodology employed is a descriptive case study involving five key respondents, including a lecturer from Universitas Sebelas Maret, the owner of Spesial Sambal, and farmers engaged in cultivation or responsible for the Sidoluhur Farmers' Group. The case study method allows for in-depth investigation into specific cases and facilitates the development of narratives or stories. The research findings indicate that the established partnership model is a subcontracting pattern involving three parties: the Sidoluhur Farmers' Group, PT Waroeng Spesial Sambal, and Universitas Sebelas Maret. The partnership provides market certainty for the farmers with a stable selling price. Importantly, this partnership does not create dependency on PT Waroeng Spesial Sambal, as farmers are free to market their harvests independently

    Masterplan Kawasan Gunung Sanggabuana merupakan bentuk upaya pelestarian dan perlindungan terhadap keanekaragaman hayati Pegunungan Sanggabuana dan upaya perubahan status kawasan Pegunungan Sanggabuana menjadi Taman Nasional yang diharapkan akan menjaga keanekaragaman hayati yang ada di pegunungan Sanggabuana dan mendapatkan upaya perlindungan dan pelestarian yang layak. Arah pembangunan daya tarik wisata Kawasan Gunung Sanggabuana adalah perintisan pengembangan daya tarik wisata dalam rangka mendorong pertumbuhan destinasi pariwisata dan pembangunan daerah, dengan arah kebijakannya adalah mengembangkan daya tarik wisata baru di kawasan Destinasi Wisata yang belum berkembang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mendukung kebijakan tersebut dalam mengembangkan obyek wisata Kawasan Gunung Sanggabuana dan meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengelola obyek wisata tersebut. Metode pelaksanaan melalui sosialisasi kepada masyarakat dan pelatihan. Implikasi PKM memiliki rencana pengembangan Kawasan Gunung Sanggabuana dan meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dan BUMDES dalam mengelola obyek wisata sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat sekitar.     Dry forests in semi-arid region plays important roles in humans’ life, whether it is socially, economically, or ecologically. Most of the time, it is very difficult to maintain the equilibrium of those roles, especially in developing-country where the economic role is more exploited than the other roles. This mismanagement of forests would lead to the situation where the forest will be in rapid retreat. On the other hand, maintaining as well as increasing the forests is the most essential solution for climate change, as forests play integral part on carbon sequestration therefore stabilizing the climate. In carbon sequestration, plants incorporate carbon from atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) through photosynthesis then storing it in biomass and soil. As each vegetation has different capacity to store carbon, this study tries to estimate the absorption rate of carbon dioxide (CO2) and the potential carbon storage of Borneo camphor (Dryobalanops aromatica) and Kesambi (Schleichera oleosa) in Oebatu Dano Ina forest (RTK.24) Pantai Baru sub-district, Rote Ndao district, Nusa Tenggara Timur province. The result shows carbon storage range of 6.51–42.998 ton/ha for both vegetation with average of 0,135–1,791 ton/ha for each tree, while the average of carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption rate is 0,498–6,575 ton/ha for each tree

    Unwise use of pesticides can cause residues that are harmful to human health and have a negative impact on the environment. Factors related to farmers' behavior can be one of the key determinants of how far they understand and implement safe, sustainable pesticide use practices. The study aims to analyze the factors associated with the behavior of peasants in Muara village, Cilamaya Wetan district, Karawang district. Behavior includes knowledge, attitudes, and actions consisting of aspects of pesticide type, dosage, time, spray frequency, self-protection, pesticides application techniques, and compliance with instructions for use. The research was conducted from September to October 2023. Sampling proportionate stratified random sampling obtained 85 respondents. Data collection techniques include observations, tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The study used a survey method using Spearman Rank analysis. Data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, quantitative descriptive analysis, and Spearman Rank correlation tests. The results of the research showed that the factors associated with the behavior of wildfish farmers in the use of pesticides were land area (X3) with a correlation of 0.239, farming experience (X4) with the correlations of 0.258, and perception of pests and plant diseases (X7) with a correlation of 0,233. Whereas education (X1), income (X2), social involvement (X5), as well as the role of the farmer (X6) had no significant correlation with farmers' behaviour in pesticide use

    The research was carried out in an experimental garden at the Faculty of Agriculture, Padjadjaran University, Jatinagor District, Sumedang Regency. The altitude of the place is 700 meters above sea level. This research was conducted from May to August 2022. The purpose of this study is to determine the interaction of foliar nutrition and fertilizer type on the growth and yield of large red chili plants (Capsicum annum L). The environmental design of this research is a Split Plot Design which consists of two treatments and is repeated four times. The main plot is the administration of a foliar nutrient solution (F) consisting of two levels: f0 (without administration) and f1 (one-time 10-day administration). The plot is a type of fertilizer (P) consisting of three levels: p1 cow manure 4 t ha-1 p2, Soil Conditioner Growth Booster (SCGB) 6 kg ha-1 and p3 ameliorant plus 4 t ha-1. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance with Duncan's double-spacing advanced test at a rate of 5%.  The results showed that there was an interaction with growth (Plant height 1 Week After Planting (WAP), 2 WAP, 3 WAP, Number of leaves 3 WAP, stem diameter 2 WAP, 3 WAP, 4 WAP, 5 WAP) and yield (Weight per fruit). The best results were shown in foliar nutrition and SCGB administration against plant height growth of 2 WAP, 3 WAP, leaf count of 3 WAP and stem diameter of 3 WAP as well as foliar nutrition and ameliorant plus feeding of 5 WAP stem diameter. Types of ameliorant plus fertilizers that were not fed foliar nutrition show the best results against plant height growth of 1 WAP stem diameter of 2 WAP, 4 WAP and weight yield per fruit

    Nursery planting media in smallholder oil palm plantations that are attacked by stem rot disease caused by Ganoderma sp do not receive special attention and it is not uncommon for farmers to use land around their oil palm plantations that is attacked by Ganoderma. This research aims to modify planting media infected with Ganoderma spp with Trichoderma spp input in the planting media for oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) nurseries in the Pre-Nursery. The research was conducted in the Greenhouse of the Indonesian Palm Oil Technology Institute in March 2024. Planting media material from the Ganoderma-infested People's palm oil plantations was taken from Kwala Pesilam village, Padang Tualang sub-district, Langkat district, North Sumatra Province. The design used in the research was a non-factorial Randomized Design with 5 (five) treatment levels, namely T01 (positive control) using soil infected with Ganoderma spp, T02 (negative control) using sterile soil, T1 = 5 grams of Trichoderma, T2 = 10 grams of Tricodherma and T3 = 15 grams of Trichoderma.     he aim of this research is to determine the influence of forest farmer groups, the application of technology and the empowerment of member farmers on Arabica coffee farming income. The unit of analysis is coffee farmers who are members of the Forest Farmer Group in Cisurupan District, Garut Regency. The methodology for determining respondents was taken from a sample of 65 people obtained using a simple random method. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The level of achievement of the role of the Forest Farmer Group which consists of dimensions: learning class; production unit; cooperation forum of 75.60%, the level of application of Arabica coffee cultivation technology consists of the dimensions: Planting shade trees; Land Management; Use of seeds; Advanced Fertilization; Setting how to plant; Maintenance; pruning; Harvest and post-harvest obtained 82.47% very good criteria. The level of achievement of empowering Arabica coffee farmers as members of the Forest Farmer Group consists of dimensions: Accessibility; independence; Participation; Protection; and Fulfillment of Needs obtained 74.53% Good criteria. The level of achievement of Arabica Coffee Farming Income for Farmers of Forest Farmer Group Members which consists of the dimensions: coffee selling price, productivity and total income earned is 75.90% Good criteria. There is a significant relationship between the role of Forest Farmer Groups and the use of technology, as evidenced by a correlation coefficient of 0.760. This means that the more effective the role of the Forest Farmers Group, the more advanced the application of technology will be. The function of Forest Farmer Groups and the Application of Arabica Coffee Cultivation Technology has a beneficial impact on the Empowerment of Member Farmers. The respective contributions are 68.30% and 17.28%. The participation of Forest Farmer Groups, Application of Coffee Cultivation Technology, and Empowerment of Forest Farmer Groups have a beneficial impact on the income generated from Coffee Farming.     This research aims to determine the relationship and influence of the system and entrepreneurial spirit on the success of the wood vinegar business. The method used was a survey of wood vinegar entrepreneurs as the basis for the analysis. Suınbcr data in this research is a wood vinegar entrepreneur. The research respondents were 50 wood vinegar entrepreneurs. The method used is random sampling using the Slovin formula. Analysis techniques include path analysis. The research results obtained a production system with indicators of quantity accuracy, standard compliance and equipment maintenance. The skill level and wage level of workers are positively correlated with the success of the wood vinegar business. Results of research on entrepreneurial spirit variables with selfconfidence, anticipating business risks, facing risks optimistically, not giving up easily, spending time to advance the business, looking for new ideas, able to implement ideas, able to influence others, able to manage resources, positively correlated on the success of the wood vinegar business. This informs that wood vinegar entrepreneurs manage the company's production system with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to get the best results in running a wood vinegar business.
