A abordagem das construções geométricas em livros didáticos de Osvaldo Sangiorgi nas décadas de 1950 e 1960
Get PDFO estudo analisa a abordagem das construções geométricas em dois livros didáticos de matemática do ensino secundário, um da década de 1950 e outro da década de 1960. O estudo revela a mudança da abordagem das construções geométricas nos dois livros didáticos. A obra da década de 1950 apresenta as construções geométricas como aplicações práticas de conceitos teóricos previamente estudados, inseridas no final dos capítulos. Em contraste, a obra da década de 1960, produzida durante o período de ascensão do Movimento da Matemática Moderna no Brasil, integra mais estreitamente as construções geométricas ao longo dos capítulos, utilizando-as como ferramentas de apoio para a compreensão dos conceitos geométricos
The Toxic and Pathophysiological Aspects of Smoking Related to the Most Usual Forms of Use and Exposure to Tobacco Smoke – A Systematic Review
Get PDFThis review aimed to delineate the toxicity and pathogenicity of conventional, electronic, and hookah cigarettes concerning active and passive smoking, bringing epidemiological aspects related to Brazil. The research, conducted on the descriptors "nicotine extraction", "nicotine and toxicology", and "smoking and pathophysiology" in the Science Direct, Pubmed, Scopus, and Web of Science databases, resulted in the selection of 28 articles (2010-2022). Outside, also, exposed by the IBGE System of Automatic Recovery (SIDRA) in association with the National Health Survey (PNS), the percentages related to national smoking. It was found that the main affected systems are immunological, respiratory, and cardiovascular, with occurrences of cytotoxicity and genotoxicity, factors that are associated mainly with the presence of nicotine and toxic metabolites in cigarette smoke. It was also shown that levels of heavy metals can be found in e-cigarettes and that hookah. Conventional cigarettes still are the most harmful form of smoking. It is seen that indirect smoke stands for a serious public health problem because 80% of nitrosamines deposited on surfaces are not removed under normal ventilation conditions. It is concluded that smoking, regardless of the form of exposure, is harmful to the biological system, directly and indirectly affecting essential organs for human survival
Chemically Cross-linked Hydrogels Based on Cellulose Nanofibril for Oral Drug Delivery
Get PDFNanocellulose-based hydrogels have emerged as promising platforms for drug delivery in the gastrointestinal environment due to their biocompatible and biodegradable properties, aligning with the 3, 9, and 12 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). In this study, we investigated the modification of cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) with glycidyl methacrylate and the subsequent synthesis of chemical hydrogels containing N\u27,N\u27-dimethylacrylamide (DMA), and sodium acrylate (NaAac). The structural and morphological characterization of the hydrogels was carried out using techniques such as FTIR (Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy), 1H NMR (proton Nuclear magnetic resonance), and SEM (scanning electron microscopy). The fluid absorption capacity and swelling kinetics were evaluated, as well as the contribution of swelling mechanisms to these processes. Among the formulations developed, H2 (50 mg of CNF, 50 mg of DMA, 50 mg of NaAac) was demonstrated to be responsive to changes in pH and ionic strength, which can potentially generate a material capable of acting as a carrier for controlled drug release systems in the gastrointestinal environment. This study suggests that modified CNF hydrogels have potential applications as a controlled release device in the gastrointestinal environment and contribute to achieving the SDG, offering a strategy to improve therapeutic efficacy, reduce side effects, and promote responsible consumption and production practices
Reactions of Metals in Liquid Ammonium Nitrate
Get PDFAmmonium nitrate salt has been known for a long time. Many studies have been conducted to determine its properties. Paying attention to the results obtained so far, we conducted research on the reaction of copper, zinc, lead, silver and silver(I) oxide substances in the liquid medium of ammonium nitrate and to study its causes. The conducted research showed that only when metals are oxidized in liquid ammonium nitrate, they can react and form nitrate salts. The fact that silver metal did not react in liquid ammonium nitrate showed that metals cannot react with ammonium nitrate without oxidation. The possibilities of reacting metals with ammonium nitrate were studied using quantum chemical calculations. The results of the calculations helped to prove the correctness of the research conclusions. These reactions can serve to reveal new properties of ammonium nitrate salt
Zinc Niobate Hydrothermally Synthesized as a Catalyst for the Photodegradation of Organic Compounds
Get PDFZinc Niobate ZnNb2O6 is a semiconductor compound that remains relatively unexplored for photocatalyst applications. In this work, we present a hydrothermal synthesis method that allows obtaining ZnNb2O6 with high surface area, nanometric size and high capacity for adsorption and degradation of dyes. Zinc niobate has a band gap of 3.36 eV and can be used as a photocatalyst when activated by ultra violet (UV) light, enabling the degradation of dyes and others organic compounds. Zinc niobate was tested as a photocatalyst for the degradation of methylene blue at different pH values and showed high dye degradation kinetics in both acidic and basic media
Práticas Pedagógicas Sustentáveis: Integrando Meio Ambiente e Aprendizagem
Get PDFThis study presents a sustainable pedagogical experience carried out in a public school with 5th-grade students, aiming to integrate environmental education into interdisciplinary learning. The activities included recycling workshops, a school garden, and the construction of toys with reusable materials, as well as field trips to observe local ecosystems. The results showed increased student engagement and understanding of sustainability, promoting changes in attitudes towards waste disposal and environmental preservation. Active student participation fostered meaningful learning and the development of socio-environmental skills. Furthermore, the inclusion of families in the process strengthened community awareness. It is concluded that the adoption of sustainable pedagogical practices should be expanded in the school environment, contributing to the formation of more responsible citizens committed to environmental preservation.Este estudo apresenta uma experiência pedagógica sustentável realizada em uma escola pública com alunos do 5º ano, visando integrar a educação ambiental ao aprendizado interdisciplinar. As atividades envolveram oficinas de reciclagem, horta escolar e construção de brinquedos com materiais reutilizáveis, além de saídas de campo para observação de ecossistemas locais. Os resultados demonstraram um aumento no engajamento dos alunos e na compreensão sobre sustentabilidade, promovendo mudanças de atitude em relação ao descarte de resíduos e à preservação ambiental. A participação ativa dos estudantes favoreceu a aprendizagem significativa e o desenvolvimento de habilidades socioambientais. Além disso, a inclusão das famílias no processo fortaleceu a conscientização na comunidade. Conclui-se que a adoção de práticas pedagógicas sustentáveis deve ser ampliada no ambiente escolar, contribuindo para a formação de cidadãos mais responsáveis e comprometidos com a preservação do meio ambiente

Get PDFO presente estudo faz parte do projeto de pesquisa “Teoria Histórico-Cultural e o desenvolvimento do psiquismo na Educação Escolar: contribuições de Vigotski, Leontiev, Luria, Elkonin e Galperin para a formação humana”, e do Grupo de Pesquisa “Formação práxis e emancipação na aprendizagem escolar: implicações da Teoria Histórico-Cultural no ensino, aprendizagem e desenvolvimento humano - FOCO”. Objetiva-se investigar a contribuição da Teoria Histórico-Cultural e da proposta pedagógica de Galperin para a aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento em bebês e crianças na Educação Infantil. Portanto, cabe questionar: De que forma a Teoria Histórico-Cultural e a proposta pedagógica de Galperin podem contribuir para a aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento em bebês e crianças na Educação Infantil? A pesquisa configura-se como natureza qualitativa, com caráter descritivo e enfoque teórico, fundamentada em revisão bibliográfica. A seleção das obras ocorreu de forma intencional, considerando a relevância dos autores para a compreensão da Teoria Histórico-Cultural e da proposta pedagógica de Galperin. O resultado deste trabalho afirma a possibilidade do desenvolvimento de atividades pedagógicas a partir da metodologia de Galperin entendendo a importância da mediação do adulto no desenvolvimento infantil e a produção do conhecimento por meio da interação social
BNCC, o que você quer de mim? ou como a formação docente pode colocar um guizo na matemática da BNCC
Get PDFThe work starts from the question BNCC, what do you want from me? and from the book Fugindo das garras do gato (Escaping the Claws of the Cat) to problematize events in an extension course offered to mathematics teachers. The question encourages us to think about how a curricular public policy – particularly the BNCC, with its normative and mandatory character – produces ways of thinking and existing that cater to neoliberal demands, like the claws of a cat. We question the intentions of this document, asking about the forces and the wills it brings into play when discussing conceptions, competencies, skills, and objects of knowledge for teaching mathematics in Elementary School. Putting a bell on the cat: starting from the presentation of mathematics as a curricular component, we unravel hidden threads in the unsaid or in the subtlety of gregarious desires, ultimately displacing fixed meanings, producing multiplicities that speak other languages and other mathematics, and always evading the risk of a life subjected by breaking away from the desires of efficiency and effectiveness discourses.A partir da pergunta BNCC, o que você quer de mim? e do paradidático Fugindo das garras do gato são problematizados acontecimentos de um curso de extensão oferecido a docentes que ensinam matemática. A questão instiga a pensar como uma política pública curricular, a BNCC, produz modos de pensar e existir atendendo demandas neoliberais, garras de um gato. Coloca-se em xeque as intenções desse documento, perguntando pelos poderes e quereres quando se põe em jogo concepções, competências, habilidades e objetos do conhecimento para o ensino de matemática no Ensino Fundamental.
