Community-based complex interventions to sustain independence in older people systematic review and network meta-analysis: risk-of-bias dataset
This data contain risk-of-bias assessment process data and judgments for the results of trials of community-based complex interventions to sustain independence in older people. These datasets were produced in the course of conducting a systematic review and network meta-analyses registered with PROSPERO: https://www.crd.york.ac.uk/prospero/display_record.php?ID=CRD4201916219
Data for Crystallisation of a Homologous Series of Single and Mixed n-Alkanes (C16 – C23) from Representative Hydrocarbon Fuel Solvents
The data presented in this article relates to the crystallisation of 8 single n-alkanes, C16H34 – C23H48 in representative diesel solvents dodecane and toluene, as well as a mixture of these 8-alkanes with a composition representative of real diesel fuel in the same solvents. For the single alkane systems, the data was collected over a range of 5 concentrations ranging from 0.09 – 0.311xi, depending upon the system, and 4 concentrations for the 8-alkane mixture, 0.1 – 0.5 xi. Raw average crystallisation and dissolution points as a function of cooling rate (q) from a polythermal methodology are presented. Along with the equilibrium crystallisation and dissolution temperatures, van’t Hoff fitting parameters, relative critical undercooling (uc) values as a function of q as well as the calculated values of KG and αdet
Precise Determination of Molecular Adsorption Geometries by Room Temperature Non-Contact Atomic Force Microscopy
High resolution force measurements of molecules on surfaces, in non-contact atomic force microscopy, are often only performed at cryogenic temperatures, due to needing a highly stable system, and a passivated probe tip (typically via CO-functionalisation
Teacher questions in secondary biology classrooms: Making scientific practices meaningful for students
The dataset comprises three main categories: lesson data, teacher interview data and student interview data. Lesson data includes transcriptions of 18 lessons from six teachers, along with their associated slides, lesson plans, etc. Teacher interview data includes interview transcriptions and lesson episodes used to interview teachers. Each student data features interview transcriptions, students' drawings, and lesson episodes used to interview students
Toolkit: Plastic pollution assessment methodologies suitability toolkit (PLAST)
PLAST is a Microsoft Excel VBA tool designed to characterize and compare plastic pollution assessment methodologies to suggest the most suitable options based on a user's requirements
Canonical form orientation in speech tempo perception
This dataset comprises the audio stimuli, experimental responses, quantative data and analysis code for the two experiments reported in the related publication Plug et al. (2023). The audio stimuli are short sentences produced by a female speaker of Southern British English. In many, selected sounds were manipulated to make specific word forms potentially lexically ambiguous. In the experiments, the stimuli were presented to listeners who saw a disambiguating orthographical transcription of each sentence on screen. Crucially, two groups of participants were given two different disambiguating orthographies. Participants' tasks revolved around the estimation of the (relative) speech tempo of the stimuli. The experiments' designs are described in detail in Plug et al. The quantitative data files contain participant responses, coding for the orthography manipulation and various control variable data, including acoustic measurements extracted from the stimuli. Crucial R code for replicating the statistical analyses reported in Plug et al. is included
Data to Support Iron(II) Complexes of 2,6-Bis(imidazo[1,2?a]pyridin-2-yl)pyridine and Related Ligands with Annelated Distal Heterocyclic Donors
Complexes of the title ligand and two of its derivatives are mostly high-spin in the solid state, but exhibit thermal spin-crossover equilibria in solution with a ligand-centred room-temperature emission
