Evaluating a Novel 4-Day Decellularisation Protocol for Porcine Flexor Tendons
This dataset contains experimental mechanical testing data (stress relaxation and failure testing), DNA quantification data and histological images as described in https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jmbbm.2025.107318. This study contains data on 26-day decellularised, 4-day decellularised and native porcine superflexor tendon
Data-driven pipeline enables discovery of plant protein surfactants
Raw data for figures in the associated paper 'Data-driven pipeline enables discovery of plant protein surfactants
Dataset for 'Woodland creation scheme in the Yorkshire Dales successfully focuses tree planting on soils with lower soil organic carbon stocks'.
This dataset contains field and laboratory derived soil and vegetation measurements collected as part of an assessment of early-stage woodland creation planning in upland England. Data was collected in 2024 within a native woodland planting scheme established in 2022/23 and 2023/24 on a west facing slope of the Snaizeholme Valley (Woodland Trust)
ACP4 Variants In Hypoplastic Amelogenesis Imperfecta supplementary data
This deposit contains supplementary data for the publication "ACP4 Variants In Hypoplastic Amelogenesis Imperfecta". These include Sanger sequencing of the regions of the identified ACP4 variants for the proband and other individuals (if available) in each of 7 families with ACP4 variants, previously identified using massively parallel sequencing. It also includes all of the input files and scripts used to generate the protein models for the wild-type ACP4 protein and the various substitutions resulting from the genetic variants identified in the study. It also contains the script and pipeline used to analyse the whole exome sequencing data, including alignment, variant calling and filtering
E-Drone and Future Flight Q-Sort Data
The introduction of drones as part of a future logistics systems could enhance the efficiency of some goods movements but brings with it the prospect of a change to the environment and society. This paper reports on a study which seeks to identify how varied the concerns are amongst both practitioners and citizens and also how different the concerns of the public are from those of practice. The research uses Q-Sort methods to understand the critical variables and clusters of opinions which underlie policy controversies. A Q-Sort was first conducted with 53 professional stakeholders before a common, but reduced size Q-Sort was undertaken with a representative sample across three different local geographies (N = 610) in the UK. The findings suggest many common clusters of viewpoints across the expert and citizen samples, with the key interactions being between the degree of in principle support for drones for delivery and the degree of practical control over their introduction. However, the citizen group was dominated by drone sceptics worried about privacy, terrorism and environmental impacts in a way which was not manifested in the experts. Few differences occurred between places suggesting that simple urban-rural dichotomies do not define groups of opinions
Dataset associated with: Free-space Optical Communications at 4 Gbit/s Data Rate with a Terahertz Laser
Dataset from figures in paper and supplementary information 'Free-space Optical Communications at 4 Gbit/s Data Rate with a Terahertz Laser'
Supporting data for "Conformal scalar field theory from Ising tricriticality on the fuzzy sphere"
This dataset provides numerical results for a realisation of a free scalar conformal field theory (CFT) in 2+1 dimensions. It includes conformal spectra, conformal perturbation coefficients, finite-size scaling data, free-energy calculations, and algebraic structures of the free-boson operator content. The files contain energy levels, operator dimensions, order parameter data and structural constants derived from numerical computations
Search strategies and methods for identifying how staff and team characteristics relate to ward safety incidents in adult inpatient mental health settings
This dataset includes a list of all search strategies and databases used for the integrative review. It also includes the search development, results management and duplicate removal methods
The Inverted Microbial Loop Stimulates Mineralisation of Sedimentary Organic Detritus
Results from mesocosm experiments investigating benthic community respiration in intertidal sediment. Sediment was from the Oostershelde estuary,The Netherlands. Treatments included an intact control, as well as sediment with only microbes, only macrofauna, and a combination of microbes and macrofauna where the macrofaunal community was controlled. 13C labelled organic detritus was added at the start of experiments, and respiration as monitored over 7 days as both oxygen consumption and as production of 13C labelled dissolved inorganic carbon. Data are presented for respiration rates (both oxygen consumption and dissolved organic carbon production), and assimilation of added carbon by both macrofauna and bacteria
Dataset associated with: The Behaviour of Nematic Liquid Crystals in Chemically Patterned Millimetre-Sized Rectangular Surfaces
This dataset includes the data of the maximum predicted and measured heights of the nematic liquid crystal semi-droplets. The data for the height variation across their width and length is included for the examples presented in the publication. The data for each figure in the paper is shown where relevant
