Novel Glass Fiber Composites Reinforced with Date Seed-Derived Carbon for High-Performance Submarine Hulls
This study examines glass fiber-reinforced polyester composites enhanced with carbon derived from date seeds as potential materials for submarine hull construction. Mechanical, physical, and microstructural properties were evaluated through tensile, flexural, compression, impact, density, and water absorption tests. Composites containing 0.5–2.0 wt% carbon were fabricated and assessed under varied loading and environmental conditions. Results show that the 0.5% carbon composite achieved the highest impact toughness (0.137 J) and flexural modulus (95,639.879 MPa), indicating superior resistance to dynamic and bending stresses. The 2.0% carbon composite recorded the greatest tensile strength (4,844.308 MPa) but lower flexibility, whereas the 1.0% carbon composite displayed the lowest density (0.97 g/cm³), enhancing buoyancy for marine use. All samples exhibited 0% water absorption, confirming excellent moisture resistance. SEM–EDS analysis revealed uniform reinforcement dispersion and strong interfacial bonding, particularly in the 0.5% hybrid composite. Overall, the findings highlight date seed–derived carbon as a sustainable reinforcement capable of improving the strength-to-weight ratio of glass fiber composites. It offers a lightweight, corrosion-resistant alternative to conventional metals for submarine structures, warranting further optimization and field testing for marine deployment
Prediction and Feature Analysis of Self-Compacting Concrete Strength Using Machine Learning with Recycled Coarse Aggregate and Supplementary Cementitious Materials
This study presents a machine learning based approach to predict the CS of SCC incorporating RCA and supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), aimed at promoting sustainable construction practices. A dataset comprising 337 SCC mixes with varying input parameters such as cement (40–635 kg/m³), SCMs (0–592 kg/m³), water to binder ratio (0.25–0.45), and curing age (7–120 days) was utilized. Five regression models were evaluated- Extra Trees, AdaBoost, SVR Gradient Boosting, and ANN. Among them, Gradient Boosting achieved the highest accuracy with R² = 0.8876, RMSE = 4.032 MPa, and MAE=2.6382 MPa. Extra Trees followed closely with R²=0.8309 and RMSE=4.9444 MPa. SHAP interpretability analysis revealed that cement content and curing age were the most influential parameters in predicting CS. The study confirms the effectiveness of ML models in replacing time consuming lab tests and provides an interpretable, data driven framework for optimizing concrete mix design using industrial waste materials
ترجمات القرآن الكريم -نموذج لعمل ترجمي مركز رواد الآيات الأولى لسورة البقرة-
Are you looking to explore a specific aspect of the translation of the Holy Quran or just a general overview?by discussing the concepts of translation and terminology, their relationship, and the methodologies involved in this process. It will focus on the following points: defining translation and its types in common usage, the significance of terminology, the relationship between translation and terminology, a review of the mechanisms for creating Arabic terminology, and an analysis of a translation model from Arabic, specifically the translation of the Holy Quran into English،I've reached several conclusions, including that Quran translations need mastery of Islamic and linguistic sciences and ancient Arab culture, aiming to encourage non-Arabs and non-Muslims to engage the original text
Shakespeare Survives the Apocalypse in Hale’s My Name Is Monster (2019): A Third Millennium Commentary on The Tempest (1611)
The following scholarly endeavour, while not pertaining to be exhaustive, yet well targeted, in many respects, has sought to delve into the dynamic interplay, to be detected, between Katie Hale’s My Name Is Monster and William Shakespeare’s The Tempest with particular focus on the novel’s second part. The bard’s last play, I suggest, has been revisited, in a quite different spatiotemporal context, through Hale’s text, the aspect which has allowed her to recreate, reinvent and comment on, though in a subtle way, the four-centuries-old account in a post-apocalyptic setting. The theoretical background, following this thread, selected to underpin my designs and the analysis that would follow, emanate from Gérard Genette’s studies imbedded in textual relationship; from the panoply of concepts, the French theorist has developed and coined, I have appealed to the one he has dubbed ‘metatextuality’. I argue, all along this research paper, that My Name Is Monster might be read, beyond the surface layer, as a metatext of The Tempest. The former, in this way, is examined as a work that has not only commented on but has also criticised the latter recasting it, from a new angle; the Prospero and Caliban opposition with the entire authority, it entailed, balance of power and ability to craft language, to carve a discourse in one’s favour, have all been shifted, in the course of their, then colonial but now post-apocalyptic, relationship from the invader to the native

The novel interacts with discourses different from it. Its open form allows it to absorb philosophical and scientific knowledge without losing its conditionality and aesthetic identity. In this way, the novels “When Nietzsche Wept” and Schopenhauer’s treatment of philosophical knowledge, based on their reliance on the mechanism of narrative dialogue. On its basis, the reader learns about the philosophical opinions and contents proposed by the two philosophers, intellectually, narratively, and aesthetically

The human sciences are concerned with emotions and feelings in discourses in general because of their utmost importance in communication, which was confirmed by rhetorical, literary, and linguistic studies, the perception that existed since ancient Greek times, where Aristotle called in the so-called patus and considered it one of the techniques of pilgrims that aim to bring about persuasion and this by influencing the recipient.
Assessing Argumentative Competence: A CAPNA/PTA Analysis of Student Exam Essays Case of Third year EFL level at ENS Laghouat
This study analyzes argumentation in seven exam essays written by third-year university students using the Comprehensive Assessment Procedure for Natural Argumentation (CAPNA) and the Periodic Table of Arguments (PTA). Focusing on a listening lesson plan design prompt, the research investigates the types and strength of premises used. A quantitative approach examines the frequency and distribution of premise types (Premise of Fact/Value, Premise of Value/Policy, Implicitly Linked Premise of Value/Policy) and the strength of their reasoning (strong, moderately strong, weak). The combined CAPNA/PTA framework reveals a consistent weakness in strong reasoning, despite variations in premise types, highlighting the need for pedagogical interventions focused on argument structure, critical thinking, and targeted feedback to improve argumentative competence in academic contexts
Effect of geopolymerization on geotechnical characteristics of palm kernel shell ash stabilized laterite
Laterite soils (LS) in tropical and subtropical regions exhibit poor engineering properties, making them unsuitable for road construction application. This study examined impact of alkaline activation on palm kernel shell ash (PKSA) stabilized LS. LS properties such as Liquid Limit (LL), Plastic Limit (PL), Optimal Moisture Content, Maximum Dry Density, and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) were determined to ascertain whether it is suitable as a roadway building material. The LS was mixed with different proportions (3, 6, and 9%) of PKSA only and then with an alkaline activator (i.e. 10 M Na2SiO3/NaOH). The earlier mentioned properties of the stabilized LS were determined. An X-ray diffraction test was conducted to examine the mineral composition of PKSA. The results show that the LS, in its natural state, is unsuitable for road construction applications without proper stabilization. Increasing the percentage of PKSA decreased LL, OMC and MDD for PKSA-based and PKSA-geopolymer-based stabilized LS. Furthermore, the CBR of PKSA stabilized soil improved by 77%. Upon further addition of alkaline activator, the CBR value increased by 50% when compared with the natural soil. It was concluded that adding an alkaline activator significantly impacts soil properties for construction. This environmentally friendly method can contribute to sustainable soil stabilization practices in tropical and subtropical regions
دراسة عن التأثّرات الفكرية لسيّد قطب الدين النيريزي عن محيي الدين ابن عربي
One of the most prominent intellectual aspects of the great Sufis is their lofty thoughts and transcendental thinking. Some concepts and meanings in Sufi literature find expressions close to one another due to their reliance on common sources. In his poems on Islamic mysticism, there are traces of the famous Sufi ideas of Ibn Arabi from the 6th and 7th centuries AH. This study, being a pioneering work on the subject, adopts the method of description and analysis to argue that the unity of method and purpose between Al-Nairizi and Ibn Arabi led to the formation of similar ideas and opinions. These ideas are rooted in the Qur’anic verses, prophetic narrations, and Islamic mysticism, which serve as foundational sources for both of them. Additionally, some phrases used by Ibn Arabi were occasionally mirrored in Al-Nairizi’s Arabic poetry, albeit with slight differences. At times, the interpretations and symbols in the expressions of these two mystics appear common and harmonious, particularly in terms such as the unity of existence, fixed entities, love, and others, which are shared expressions between Ibn Arabi and Al-Nairizi

“The prayer on the prophet”, with its rich content and various forms, makes a literary phenomenon. Nevertheless, it is not considered a literary expressive form in the ancient and modern studies. This draws our attention and paves the way for questioning the structure and organization of this form in this paper to find out more.In this line, the paper tackles some literary aspects in the prayer texts that basically refer to the emotional load that is one of the Sufi discourse pillars. Besides, we examine the possibility of classifying the prayer on the prophet as a literary form used by the Sufis in their expressive and intellectual system that grows far from the known expressive forms in the ancient Arab heritage
