this paper is concerned with studying Ibn KHaldun from the perspective of literary discourse in its both cognitive and cultural manifestations.the main issue that it adresses focuses on the questioning of the transformation that characterized Ibn khaldun’s creative writings which is due to his vast khowledge in sosiology ,architecture as well as reconstruction .in addition to the comparison that Ibn Khaldun has made between both bedouin and urban behavior and the impact of this in the emergence and development of nations and their differences in tastes and khowledge The transformation in Ibn khaldun’s creative writing is also due to the fact that he was not distiguished from others in his method of studying and evaluating writing added to that his maghrebian upbringing which is in the perspective of oriental criticism merely a repetition of the old and new of oriental thought, as if the maghrebian was merely a reposetory of orietal texts

This study aims to re-read the vision of the Algerian thinker Malek Bennabi of the discourse of Orientalism from the perspective of post-modern criticism, which is civilizational criticism. This is in line with the nature of the intellectual vision of Malek Bennabi, who presented In his writings, there is a balanced view of the Orientalist discourse in his treatment of the texts of the Arab Islamic civilization and its major narratives, as he did not tend to completely challenge and question everything that the Orientalists in general produced,He demonstrated the ability to use Occidentalism as a means of understanding the other and his intellectual and reference starting points and deconstructing them civilizationally and culturally to know the nature of his thinking

Experimental Evaluation for Improving the Engineering Properties of Concrete Using Partial Replacement of Natural Waste

With the global growth of building construction and infrastructure around the world, the global demand for concrete materials in the construction industry is increasing day by day. Natural waste can be considered an alternative substitute that can be partially mixed into concrete up to a certain limit while maintaining the strength and properties of the concrete for a long duration. In this research, crushed coconut shell as fine and coarse aggregate and coconut shell ash as cement are used as a partial replacement for fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and cement in concrete. A mix design of M20-grade concrete was prepared as per BIS 1026 2019, and 150 × 150 × 150 mm³ sized cubes of concrete were designed. Concrete materials were replaced with a different form of coconut shells, as cement was replaced with coconut shell ash. In this research, the effects of replacing cement, fine aggregate (FA), and coarse aggregate (CA) were tested in concrete with alternative materials (CSA, CSFA, CSCA) at different levels (0–25%). Concrete strength was measured after 28 days, which represents reduced strength from 24.58 MPa (0%) to 12.80 MPa (25%) in replacing cement with CSA. Increased strength at 5% (28.58 MPa) but dropped to 8.29 MPa at 25% in replacing FA with CSFA. Reduced strength to 8.14 MPa at 25% in replacing CA with CSCA. Replacing all three together lowered strength to 7.25 MPa at 25%. So, only replacements of small proportion (CSFA at 5%) can improve strength, but higher percentages reduce concrete performance. After being prepared, the mould was kept for curing for 3, 7, 14, and 28 days, after which its compressive strength was tested. The result analysis shows that mixing up to 5-10% of crushed coconut shell (CCS) and coconut shell ash (CSA) in concrete does not affect the strength or durability. The limitation of using this natural waste is that it can be substituted up to a certain limit, and the strength graph decreases significantly beyond that limit

This study seeks to demonstrate the openness of the textual text to the religious text, and the ability of the text to interrogate its stories, as the Arabic novel has benefited from the religious text and licensed its discourse by projecting it onto reality, since the stories in the Holy Quran are reproduced in every era with new concepts and different social, intellectual and ideological visions. The religious text was and still is an inspiration in the literary art, especially the novel, which has occupied a wide space among the literary genres today. Novelists have been saturated with the stories of the religious text, and the latter has increased the strength of the literary discourse and its impact, and the meeting of two texts interacted in the form of dialogue that is under study, taking tablets and dwarfs as novels to work

Towards Greener Skies: Natural Fibres for Aeronautical Applications

Choosing materials mostly involves taking their sustainability into account. The material selection for airplane internal product design is heavily influenced by the enormous demand, knowledge of the ecological effect, and appropriateness among a material’s performance, properties, and adequacy for the part to be utilized. In this study, natural fibres for aeronautical applications were chosen using a step-by-step methodology. To have a better understanding, data about the mechanical, physical, and chemical features of bio-fibres were gathered and subjected to a hierarchical analysis prior to the start of the selection process. For this purpose, three physical subcriteria (crystallinity index, density, and moisture content), three mechanical subcriteria (young’s modulus, tensile strength, and “elongation at break”), and three different chemical subcriteria (lignin, hemi-cellulose, and cellulose) were taken into consideration. Subsequently, hierarchy strategies were applied to identify the weights assigned to the attributes based on the notional significance of each attribute

This study aims to investigate the experience of exile and its psychological effects on the stability of Palestinian children in the story «The Land of the Sad Oranges» by the Palestinian writer Ghassan KANAFANI. The writer portrays the anxieties of pain and helplessness faced by children after losing their safety, which deepened by the non-resistance of their parents' generation to the authority's arbitrary decision. This created a division in the language of communication within Palestinian families, as exile became a psychological confrontation between the homeland – the origin of truth and reference – and the unfamiliar and foggy place. The author attributes this narrative description to the «child» witness, who beheld and documented the suffering of his family in different places, thus generating narrative expressions resulting from an awareness of the unspoken and making it a realistic horizon in its political and social contexts. The narrator's voice merges with that of the author as they seek an alternative to belonging through documenting the situation

This research aims to study the prison imaginary in Yemeni novels. For this purpose, a corpus of five novels that align with the examined subject was selected: Zahrat al-Bunn [Coffee Flower] (1998), Ẓulmat Yāʼīl [The Darkness of Yael] (2012), Bain Babain [Between Two Doors] (2018), al-Ẓill al-Mansī [The Forgotten Shadow] (2022), and Bait al-Zawqabi [The House of Zawqabi] (2023), where prison constitutes the central theme. The research employs a structuralist approach and is divided into an introduction and four sections. The first section discusses the title and cover thresholds and how the prison is reflected in them. The second section addresses the description of the prison in the novels. The third section deals with the characters' sense of the burden of imprisonment. The fourth section explores the closure of the prison and the opening of memory. The study concludes that prison forms compulsory space for the characters' residency in the examined novels. The appearance of prison in the title and cover provided an initial image of the novels and the ensuing details related to prison and its torments. The description links the prison to the characters' feelings, as the portrayal of the prison mirrors the prisoners' emotions and sentiments towards their imprisonment. The imprisoned characters manage to overcome the harsh closure of the prison through the openness of memory to their past, which includes moments of joy and intimacy

Modern Arab researchers have recognized the preciousness of the Arabic linguistic heritage, especially after the emergence of Western linguistics, structural and functional, and began working either to prove the existence of these concepts in their heritage, or to introduce Western linguistics and its findings, or to attempt to re-read the heritage using the methodologies of Western approaches.Manifestations of pragmatics have emerged in Arabic linguistic studies within the applications of Arabic language sciences and its branches. These manifestations have resonated greatly in the approaches of modern grammarians to this heritage, appreciating the efforts of many scholars such as Sibawayh, Al-Jurjani, Ibn Jinni, and others, who preceded Western linguistic propositions by considering context. This has motivated the foundation of a modern Arabic linguistic theory that derives its pragmatic concepts from Arabic heritage and Western linguistic thought. The torchbearers of this movement include Mahdi Al-Makhzoumi, Tammam Hassan, Ahmed Al-Mutawakkil, and others, in hopes of preparing an authentic and modern Arab linguistic project

This study analyzes impoliteness in online and offline interactions, based on an exchange between Emmanuel Macron and a young citizen. The objective is to understand how impoliteness is perceived in these two contexts. The results show that impoliteness is perceived more intensely online, mainly due to anonymity and the absence of non-verbal cues. In face-to-face interactions, these cues help mitigate the perception of impoliteness. Online, humor and irony often recontextualize impoliteness. The study recommends proactive moderation and the promotion of respectful behavior on digital platform
