Determination by analytical approach of the characteristics in free vibration of a complex asymmetric structure
Get PDFIn this paper, a new analytical calculation method is presented to study the free vibration behavior of a tall building structure with constant properties over its entire height. The proposed calculation method is based on Alembert's principle, and the continuum approach of a structure composed of walls, frames, and structural cores arranged asymmetrically according to the plane of the floor. The main idea of the present model is to associate both the coupling effect of the flexural stiffness and the shear stiffness in the differential equations governing the free vibration behavior of the structure. The analysis focuses on the determination of the free coupled vibration characteristics. According to the two orthogonal directions, the lateral bending-shear vibrations are coupled to the torsional vibrations of St-Venant. A generalized solution method is proposed using the Galerkin approach to determine the frequencies and associated mode shapes of coupled free vibration structures. The obtained results were in good agreement with those found in the literature

No full textThis article deals with the question of opening up the the kabyle fairy tale to animist religious beliefs. The subject contains a theoretical aspect in which the terms of the title have been defined: the Kabyle fairy tale and its ethnographic peculiarities, animist religious beliefs and the concept of the evolutionist anthropological theory. An applied aspect in which the fairy tale has been analyzed from a comparative evolutionary anthropological perspective. The comparative anthropological study made it possible to deduce the survivals of religious beliefs in the tale that we have studied. The global nature of the animist religion has been discovered, the survivals of which are still in the depths of man and his material, literary and spiritual creations. The reason for the survival of animism lies in the importance of its subject, which deals with the idea of death, life and eternal resurrection, whether in popular tales, or in mythological and religious texts, ancient and modern.

Investigation of Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Reduction in Reinforced Concrete Members Exposed to High Temperature
Get PDFNowadays, the fire resistance of reinforced concrete members is generally defined by material characteristics at elevated temperatures and temperature functions. However, the influence of steel reinforcement in concrete members exposed to high temperatures on the ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) measurements has still been limited. In this paper, the quality of concrete and steel reinforcement/concrete interface was assessed under high temperatures using UPV measurements. The specimens were classified into four categories: the control tested cubes without rebar; tested cubes with plain and ribbed steel rebars. Tested cubes with dimensions of 100x100x100 mm were cast and cured for 28 days at room temperature (20oC). After drying all specimens at 105oC for 48 hours, these cubes were subjected to four different temperature levels ranging from 150oC to 400oC for 4 hours before being cooled to room temperature. According to the measured values of UPV, the higher the temperature attained in specimens, the greater the following changes occurred in concrete: (i) the degradation within the concrete; (ii) the debonding of steel reinforcements in concrete
L’impact des fonctions exécutives sur l’apprentissage de la lecture, chez les enfants atteints de trouble d’inattention avec hyper activité TDA/H.
Get PDFDans le cadre de ce travail de recherche, nous avons essayé d’étudier la relation entre les difficultés d’apprentissages de la lecture et le déficit des fonctions exécutives (limités à: l’inhibition, flexibilité mentale, mémoire de travail, planification), chez les enfants atteints de TDA /H, nous avons diagnostiqué une trentaine de cas, scolarisés dans les écoles primaires de la commune d'Alger plage, wilaya d'Alger, dans les 3ème, 4ème et 5ème classes du primaire, âgés de 9 ans à 11 ans, nous les avons soumis à un ensemble de tests, qui nous ont permis d'évaluer leurs niveau de lecture précisément les compétences de décodage et de compréhension, ainsi que l'ensemble des fonctions exécutives. D’après les données obtenues et les analyses de régression, démontrent l'existence d'un impact significatif du déficit des fonctions exécutives sur l'apprentissage la lecture. Ce qui nous permet d’affirmer l’hypothèse de travail. ’écriture ? Quelle est son incidence sur l’écriture de la violence dans Un été de cendres ? Car le narrateur contraint par les abus d’une bureaucratie aveugle se réfugie dans un espace clos, en se donnant à des calculs stériles et un délire sans pareil ; forgeant ainsi une esthétique au service d’une époque des plus incommensurables.
