تمثّلات المرأة في الرّواية الجزائرية المعاصرة -المرأة المطلقة في رواية أشجار بشير مفتي-
This research paper aims to unveil divorcee women representations in contemporary Algerian novel. Various and different texts have been carefully selected and analyzed for that purpose. Besides, the term ‘representation’ was intentionally chosen mainly because of its reduction characteristic. Moreover, the paper tackles the way Algerian intellectuals envision and represent female characters in which the focus was on divorcee women
الكفايات المنهجية للمنظور الأخلاقي في النّقد المعاصر (النّقد الأخلاقي للحداثة الغربيّة عند طه عبد الرّحمان أنموذجا).
This study aims to highlight the importance of the ethical approach in expanding the horizons of contemporary critical discourse by leveraging the ethical principles underlying ethical criticism. It seeks to broaden the scope of terminological reference in criticism and uncover the methodological competencies achievable through this critical orientation, by examining the model of ethical criticism of Western civilization according to Taha Abderrahman. Additionally, this study aims to identify the shortcomings and cognitive deficiencies inherent in the Western modernist model. The study concludes that critical practice guided by an ethical orientation possesses significant and genuine methodological competencies in illuminating the contemporary modernist scene. Furthermore, Taha Abderrahman's model of ethical criticism stands as a vivid example substantiating this claim by deconstructing modernist concepts and constructing alternatives that ensure essential cognitive, methodological, and ethical guarantees for humanity
Strength, microstructure, and environmental assessment of mortar containing stone waste and admixtures
The swiftness in the speed of construction work is the present scenario's need to meet the infrastructure demand due to rise in industrialization and urbanization. Various admixtures are being used to produce mortar/concrete with acceleration in stiffening of cement composites and requisite strength at early age. However, due to industrialization, the generation and dumping of stone wastes in different forms from stone industries has become menace to the ecosystem. To overcome their ill effects, a possible solution can be reuse of these wastes into the construction sector as it can absorb huge waste. This study used stone slurry powder as cement substitution; calcium nitrate and triethanolamine as additives in different proportions individually and in combination to investigate their practicality in cement mortar. The environmental assessment of additives in mortar mixes was also carried out along with the microstructural analysis. Results demonstrated that water cured specimens had higher compressive strength and air cured specimens had higher electrical resistivity values. The stone powder was predominant among all additives in the performance enhancement in terms of strength, chemical resistance and environmental assessment of mortar mixes as compared to other additives
اشتغال النسق الديني في رواية دروز بلغراد لربيع جابر
Literaydiscaureses have multipied and the methods and methods of studying and analyzing them have varied and the religious discourse remains the s sacred discourse that is given a place in literary studies and is dealt with caution, especially if we start looking at its interpretations and mysteries in a creative literary text, so we find ourselves facing three units, the unity of discourse in its concept and the manifestations of this concept different procedures, and the unity of religion as a concept that shares ideological statements, patterns, and practices that are determined according to the controls and statements of belief, and the unity of the creative text, which is seen as an aesthetic linguistic practice that accepts reception, which means the privacy of building the literary text and at the same time isaware of its entitlement to interpret this creative textat the level pecifisc. In this paper, we will try to search for religious patterns in the fictional text “Druze Belgrade” by RabihJaber, to reveal that relationship between the religious dimension and the fictionaldimension
Implementing Cooperative Learning in Algerian Middle School EFL Classes: Some Potential Problems and Solutions.
Cooperative learning (CL) is believed to have positive effects on learners as it improves their academic achievement and their social skills. Yet, despite its widespread acceptance and proven efficacy, CL implementation has not received the attention and consideration it deserves in many schools across Algeria. This study explores and discusses some major problems inherent to CL practice and enactment in EFL classes at the middle school level in Algeria, and provides some solutions to enhance pupils’ learning in two selected rural middle schools within the region of Tizi-Ouzou. Two classes: 2M3 from Boudjima and 4M2 from Tizi Rached together with their teachers were chosen for the empirical aspect. The study adopts a qualitative approach; while its method is descriptive and exploratory in nature. The main instrument used for data collection is classroom observation. As for data analysis, Qualitative Content Analysis is used as a relevant method of inquiry. Results indicate that CL at the middle school is poorly implemented as EFL teachers lack adequate preparation, knowledge of and familiarity with CL, and this implies that much professional training is highly required to overcome these impediments
Aggregate Packing Density Approach for Sustainable SCC using Un-Processed Coarse Recycled Concrete Aggregates
The production of Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) needs a large amount of binder (cement) to fulfill its flow requirements. The production of cement is associated with high energy consumption and CO2 emissions, which result in serious environmental pollution. Making SCC with Coarse Recycled Concrete Aggregate (CRCA) throws further challenges. Mix proportions of a 40 MPa SCC-CRCA were estimated using the aggregate proportions obtained by aggregate packing density method (APD), Indian Standard (IS 10262), and those based on Compressible Packing Method (CPM). It was observed that the APD method yielded an SCC-CRCA with reduced binder content by 5.40% and 26%, as compared to the other two methods. Also, in the SCC-CRCA mixes proportioned by using APD method, resulted in a reduction in total energy consumption by 5.10%, total emission of CO2 by 9.23 % and material cost by 14.44 % at the prevailing rates in comparison to the IS 10262 design method. No significant variation in the flow and mechanical properties of SCC-CRCA was observed up to a replacement of 45 %, in the total coarse aggregate which is higher than that recommended in Indian (20 %) and International specifications (35 %) for traditionally vibrated (conventional) concrete
Study on the Stiffness of Rail Support for Some Lines of Urban Railway in Vietnam
Track stiffness significantly affects how forces are transferred from the train to the substructure. Vietnam is currently in the process of constructing and operating three urban railway lines (URL). This research focuses on analyzing the stiffness of the rail support system and examining the forces exerted on these supports in relation to their stiffness properties. To achieve this, the study employs analytical methods, finite element method (FEM), and simulation techniques for structural analysis. The results reveal that the forces transmitted to the rail bearings are 26,117 N, 24,332 N, and 24,570 N, corresponding to axle loads of 16 tons/axle, 14 tons/axle, and 14.5 tons/axle, respectively. Furthermore, the reduction ratios of train loads transferred to the substructure are 67.35%, 65.24%, and 66.11%. These values are associated with bearing stiffness values of 23.1x106 N/mm, 30.8x106 N/mm, and 27.5x106 N/mm, respectively. Proper determination of rail support stiffness is crucial for efficient railway operations and maintenance. Accurate stiffness values ensure better load distribution across the infrastructure. This prevents excessive stress on specific structural components. In addition, optimizing stiffness helps minimize maintenance costs and prolongs infrastructure lifespan
Parametric study of crack propagation under thermal shock using phase field method
Thermal shock is a major concern for brittle and quasi-brittle construction materials such as ceramics as it can easily lead to fracture. The complex mechanism and fracture pattern of this phenomenon make its analysis and prediction challenging. The phase-field method in this context is a promising candidate for simulating this phenomenon. By representing a discrete crack with a continuous damage variable that evolves according to its governing equations, the entire fracture process could be captured within the original finite element mesh. In this work, we developed a phase-field thermomechanical fracture model and implemented it into Abaqus software to reproduce literature work on the fracture behavior of ceramic materials subjected to water quenching. Different types of ceramic plates at various temperature conditions were investigated. The obtained results showed good agreement with the published works, validating the model implementation to be applied to further studies
Development and Evaluation of Mild Steel Permanent Mould for Al-Alloys Pulley Production
The development and evaluation of a mild steel permanent mould were conducted with considerations based on materials availability, cost efficiency, and national economic development. The design, material selection, and fabrication strategy were all carefully chosen to meet these objectives. Geometric modelling of the mould design was carried out using Pro/Engineer® software, generating various views and parameters of the mould with and without components. Mild steel was chosen for mould production due to its strength, rigidity, availability, high melting temperature, surface finish, and machinability. Fabrication of the mould utilized basic machine tools such as a lathe machine and drilling machine. To evaluate the performance of the developed mould, an aluminium alloy pulley was produced using the mould and aluminium scraps. Microstructural analysis and hardness tests were performed on mould samples before and after casting. The results indicate that the heated mould sample, after casting, exhibits a fine-induced dendritic structure comprised of smaller grains, whereas the microstructure of the unheated mould displayed larger grain sizes. The maximum hardness number recorded was 204 HV for the mould sample after casting, indicating the ability of the mould material to withstand fatigue stresses and wear generated during casting
القصيدة الصوفيّة بين دهشة القراءة وفتنة التّأويل. قراءة في عدّة نماذج.
There is no doubt that the reader of the Sufi poem as a poetic structure emanating from the heart of a unique customary spiritual experience, and a world in which letters and words interact vitally, finds himself forced to travel with it and in it to explore the secrets of its poetry, its language is based on encryption and condensation, full of with symbols and signs, which makes its connotations subject to the process of concealment and manifestation, wearing an infinite number of semantics, and between the extension of semantics and islands of meanings the Sufi poem tries to express boldly confusing existence, absolute and truth, and confuse its reader mentally and It is a fantasy and a quirk that only has a limited amount of meaning to enter its worlds.Between the glee of mystery and the interpretation of semantics, the reader remains unable to penetrate the Sufi poem and break it up until after passing through its curves and curves several times, to discover the symbols and connotations it stores, because the goal of the Sufi poet is to form a text that is unable to reveal and On the one hand, creating an awareness that leads the reader to the magic of symbolism, reference and interpretation on the other, and therefore the poet's tendency to write in the ink of luminous mysticism is a tendency to seduce and seduce, and to aesthetic blindness that renews consciousness Reader with every reading proces
