    Pertumbuhan Kerang Darah (Tegillarca granosa) pada Berbagai Sistem Akuakultur

    Many aquaculture wastes are suspended in the water column in that the presence of clams as filter feeders is required to utilize the waste for growth. In this study, blood clams from four aquaculture systems were evaluated to determine their growth, namely monoculture systems, polycultures, Integrated Multi Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) non-paddy cocultures, and IMTA with paddy cocultures. Blood clams, tilapia, and tiger shrimp are stocked at as much as 20 each in 90 L of brackish water, whereas the density of sea cucumbers is 10 individuals. For paddy, reared using a floating method that uses trays. For four weeks, feed was given four times a day as much as 10% of the biomass. The results showed that the aquaculture system were a significant effect (P<0.05) on Spesific Growth Rate (SGR). The SGR of blood clams when combined with the IMTA systems were significantly higher (P<0.05) than that of the monoculture and polyculture systems. In contrast to growth, morphometric characteristics were not significantly affected (P>0.05) by aquaculture system. Apart from studies in laboratory scale, the highest growth of blood clams is obtained if cultured with complete trophic levels through the IMTA paddy system

    Sweet corn (Zea mays saccaharata Sturt L.) is a plant that is harvested when it is young and widely cultivated in tropical areas. However, production is still low, so it needs to be optimized with fertilization. This research aimed to determine the effect of KCl fertilizer doses on the growth and yield of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt L.) plants in inceptisol soil. It was carried out on the Rendole Pati Palawija Nursery Development Garden grounds. This research used a Single Factor Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL) experimental experiment with 3 treatments, namely: 0 kg/ha (K0), 75 kg/ha (K1), and 150 kg/ha (K2). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The research results showed that the dose of KCl fertilizer significantly affected the parameters of plant height, fresh weight of stover, dry weight of stover, ear diameter, ear length, and sweetness content. The best growth and production of sweet corn is at a dose of 150 kg/ha

    This present study investigates the combination of probiotic Lactobacillus sp. and molasses applied to promote growth performance and survival of Nile Tilapia seed. Probiotic could act as an additive agent for fish seed with incomplete digestive organ development as it produces the digestion-support enzyme. The experiment was set based on the formalized fish feed, consisting of A (no molasses and probiotic provision), B (2 r/L molasses), C (108 cfu/mL probiotic), D (108 cfu/mL probiotic + 4 r/L molasses), E (1010 cfu/mL probiotic + 2 r/L molasses) and applied in three replicates each. Fish were reared in cone bottom tanks and were fed according to the treatment (2 times a day in 3 weeks). The growth and survival rate data were collected during the experiment and were analyzed using ANOVA (analysis of variance). The results indicate significant growth and survival of Nile Tilapia seed (P<0,05) generated by the enhancement of probiotics and molasses into fish feed with formalized 1010 cfu/mL probiotic + 2 r/L molasses.Ikan nila adalah salah satu jenis ikan air tawar yang banyak digemari oleh masyarakat karena rasanya yang enak dengan harga yang ekonomis. Hal tersebut membuat permintaan benih ikan nila untuk dibudidayakan cukup tinggi, akan tetapi produksi benih masih terbatas karena berbagai faktor seperti pakan, kualitas air, teknologi dan lain sebagainya. Dilakukan pengembangan teknologi melalui pakan ikan dengan pemberian probiotik dan molase dengan dosis yang berbeda untuk melihat pengaruhnya pada pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan nila. Probiotik yang diberikan dapat memberikan efek positif terhadap organisme yang mengkonsumsinya, karena probiotik mengandung enzim yang dapat membantu ikan dalam mencerna pakan yang diberikan khususnya pada stadia benih karena organ pencernaan ikan masih belum sempurna. Metode pemberian pakan dilakukan dengan cara menambahkan probiotik dan molase ke dalam pakan ikan dengan lima jenis perlakuan masing-masing tiga ulangan  yaitu A :  (pakan murni), B : (molase 2 gr/L), C : (probiotik108 cfu/mL), D : (probiotik 108 cfu/mL + molase 4 gr/L), E : (probiotik 1010 cfu/mL + molase 2 gr/L). Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam Anova. Hasil uji data menunjukkan bahwa pemberian probiotik dan molase memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan nila (P<0,05).   Kata kunci : Probiotik; Nila; Lactobacillus sp.     Traces of the long history of agricultural credit history in Indonesia are divided into (i) Pre-Bimas (1964); (ii) National Community Guidance and Gotong Royong (1965-1970); (iii) Improved Guidance (1970-1984); (iv) Agricultural Business Credit (1985-1999); (v) Food Security Credit (2000), Food and Energy Security Credit (2007) and People's Business Credit (2007 to present). However, until now there has not been a single consistent credit scheme that specifically deals with rice commodities. Thus, the capacity building of rice farmers in adopting advanced technologies such as quality seeds, balanced fertilizers, water pumping machines, tractors, power threshers, combine crushers, and processing of products based on the industrial revolution 4.0 in order to increase the added value of rice food agricultural products cannot be realized. Research objectives include; 1. Assess the constraints/obstacles in the distribution of rice commodity agribusiness business financing schemes from the perspective of financial institutions and rice commodity agribusiness farmers and 2. Design innovative banking-specific financing solutions models for rice commodity agribusiness businesses. This research was conducted from August to December 2022, in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The results of this collaborative research can be stated: (1) Obstacles/obstacles in terms of bank lending are relatively centralized lending policies and from the agribusiness farmer's side are weak financial administration systems and lack of bankable guarantees; and (2) The model for innovative banking-specific financing solutions for rice commodity agribusiness produced in the research is the Rice Agribusiness Credit Skim (KAP), in which the role of the Regional Government is as Advisor and Coordinator.Jejak rekam perjalanan panjang sejarah kredit pertanian di Indonesia dibedakan menjadi : (i) Pra-Bimas (1964); (ii) Bimas Nasional dan Gotong Royong (1965-1970); (iii) Bimas Disempurnakan (1970-1984); (iv) Kredit Usaha Tani  (1985-1999); (v) Kredit Ketahanan Pangan (2000), Kredit Ketahanan Pangan dan Energi (2007) dan Kredit Usaha Rakyat  (2007 sampai sekarang). Namun sampai saat ini tidak ada satupun skim kredit yang konsisten khusus menangani komoditi padi. (Zulkifli, Sri Mardiyati, Hamzah, Abubakar Idhan, Suhartina, (2021) Dengan demikian, capacity bulding petani padi dalam mengadopsi teknologi maju seperti benih bermutu, pupuk berimbang, alsintan pompa air, traktor, power thresher, combined havester dan pengolahan hasil berbasis revolusi industri 4.0 dalam rangka meningkatkan nilai tambah produk pertanian pangan padi tidak dapat diwujudkan. Tujuan penelitian meliputi ; 1. Mengkaji kendala/hambatan penyaluran skim pembiayaan usaha agribisnis komoditi padi dari sisi lembaga keuangan dan petani usaha agribisnis komoditi padi dan 2. Mendesain model solusi inovatif pembiayaan spesifik perbankan pada usaha agribisnis komoditi padi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bulan Agustus s/d Desember 2022, di Kabupaten Gowa Provinsi Sulawei Selatan. Hasil penelitian kerjasama ini dapat dikemukakan : (1) Kendala/hambatan dari sisi penyaluran kredit pihak perbankan adalah kebijakan penyaluran kredit yang relatif bersifat sentralistik dan dari sisi petani agribisnis adalah lemahnya sistem administrasi keuangan dan kurangnya jaminan yang bankable; dan (2) Model solusi inovatif pembiayaan spesifik perbankan pada agribisnis komoditi padi yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian adalah SKIM KREDIT AGRIBISNIS PADI (KAP), dimana peran serta Pemerintah Daerah sebagai Pembina dan Koordinatif.     Demand for poultry products continues to increase. The quality of livestock commodities is obtained by providing good feed (good feeding practices). Feed is the most significant component of production costs, namely 60-70%. Utilizing the potential of local feed ingredients can reduce feed costs and improve livestock health. Herbal administration improves livestock performance through bioactive substances. Herbs used as feed ingredients are turmeric, ginger, and indigoferas leaf meal. Herbal plants function as natural antibiotics, antivirals, and antimicrobials. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using herbs in feed on production performance. The research location was in Mappesangka Village, Ponre District, Bone Regency, from April to December 2022. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment consisted of basal feed (control), basal feed 97% + herbs 3%, basal feed 96% + herbs 4%, and basal feed 95% + herbs 5%. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 chickens. The strain used was the Novogen strain aged 32 weeks as many as 80 individuals, reared for 28 days. The variables observed were feed consumption, conversion, hen day production, and egg weight. The data obtained were tabulated, then statistical analysis was carried out with ANOVA and Duncan's test. The results showed that the use of herbs had a significant (P<0.05) effect on Hen Day Production (HDP). The results showed that using as much as 3% of herbs could improve laying hens' production performance.ABSTRAK Permintaan terhadap produk unggas terus meningkat. Kualitas komoditas ternak diperoleh dengan penyediaan pakan yang baik (good feeding practices). Pakan merupakan komponen biaya produksi terbesar yaitu 60-70%. Pemanfaatan potensi bahan pakan lokal dapat mengurangi biaya pakan dan memperbaiki kesehatan ternak. Pemberian herbal meningkatkan performan ternak melalui zat bioaktif. Herbal yang digunakan sebagai bahan pakan adalah kunyit, jahe, dan tepung daun indigoferas. Tanaman herbal berfungsi sebagai antibiotik alami, antivirus, dan antimikrobia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan herbal dalam pakan terhadap performa produksi. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Mappesangka, Kecamatan Ponre, Kabupaten Bone dari bulan April sampai bulan Desember 2022. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan. Masing-masing ulangan terdiri dari 4 ekor ayam yang terdiri dari Pakan Basal (kontrol) ,  Pakan Basal 97% + Herbal 3%, : Pakan Basal 96% + Herbal 4%, Pakan Basal 95%+ Herbal 5%. Strain yang digunakan adalah strain Novogen umur 32 minggu sebanyak 80 ekor, dipelihara selama 28 hari. Variabel yang diamati adalah konsumsi pakan, konversi pakan, hen day produksi dan berat telur. Data yang diperoleh ditabulasi kemudian dilakukan analisis statistik dengan ANOVA dan uji Duncan’s. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan herbal berpengaruh  secara  nyata (P<0,05)  terhadap  produksi  telur/(Hen Day Production/HDP).     Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) is a commercial crop that plays a role in the economy. Tobacco productivity can be increased by optimizing existing land. One component of tobacco cultivation that supports tobacco growth is the availability of quality planting material. The aims of this research are 1) To determine the growth response of tobacco plant seeds in several local and superior varieties and 2) To determine the growth rate of tobacco plant seeds in several local and superior varieties. It was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries from June to September 2023. The design used was a non-factorial randomized block design repeated 3 times, each treatment consisting of 4 samples. The treatments tested were 4 varieties of tobacco, namely Ico Lalo (V1), Ico Tempo (V2), Kemloko (V3), and Prancak-95 (V4), so there were 48 experimental units. The results of the research showed that the Kemloko 1 variety had the best seed growth for observed characters, namely plant height, 10,425 cm; stem height, 2,943 cm; leaf length, 6,475 cm; and leaf width, 4,483 cm. The description of the kemloko 1 variety shows that the level of location specificity is better than that of superior and local varieties according to the observed characteristics, namely plant height, stem height, leaf length, and leaf width

    This study aimed to identify the Agroforestry model applied by the Agribusiness-based KTH in Ulusaddang Village, Pinrang District, South Sulawesi. Determination of the sample using the census method involving KTH, which represents the entire population, namely KTH Sipatuo and KTH Chulande Sipatuo. The results showed that the agroforestry models applied to each KTH were agro silviculture, agrosilvofishery, agro silvopasture, and monoculture (non-agroforestry). Several types of commodities and livestock that make up the agroforestry system are 1) Woody plants; sugar palm (Arenga pinnata), candlenut (Aleurites moluccanus), white teak (Gmelina arborea), mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla L), cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), 2) seasonal plants; corn (Zea mays), banana (Musa paradisiaca L), avocado (Persea Americana), durian (Durio), cocoa (Theobroma cacao), robusta coffee (Coffea canephora), 3) animal feed; lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala), gamal (Gliricidia sepium), 4) Livestock; Cattle (Bos taurus sp), and tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)

    A coffee shop (cafe) offers a relaxed atmosphere for fast food and drink. A good cafe can provide satisfaction for consumers in terms of service, affordable products and prices, and adequate equipment and facilities. The research objectives are: (1) Describe the coffee drink production process and (2) Describe product quality. (3) Describe consumer satisfaction with the quality of coffee drink products. (4) Analyzing the influence of coffee drink product quality on consumer satisfaction. The population of this research is consumers who make purchases directly at the "From Heart" coffee shop in Makassar City. The sampling technique was Purposive Sampling, with a total of 100 respondents. The research results show (1) The coffee drink production process begins with procuring and selecting the main ingredients, namely coffee beans, grinding them to become powder, and procuring/selecting additional ingredients in the form of flavor variants. The ground coffee beans are mixed with the flavor variants according to the consumer's wishes; then, the packaging process is carried out. (2) The quality of the coffee drink product, namely performance, features, aesthetics, and conformance to specifications, is in the "very good" category. (3) The level of consumer satisfaction based on emotional factors, price, and service quality in the "very satisfied" category. (4) The influence of the quality of coffee drink products, namely performance, features, aesthetics, and conformance to specifications, together (F test) or partially (t-test), has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction

    Indonesia is an archipelagic nation known as a maritime area with natural riches in fisheries, such as marine biota and marine tourism. Since 1952, the progress of Bontang Kuala City has been supported by various industrial centers that utilize fishery products. This study aims to study financial aspects, including income, expenses, efficiency, and profits in the salted fish processing business managed by residents who live around the coastal area of Bontang City. The instruments applied to analyze data are analysis of business efficiency, costs, revenues, and profits. The objectivity of the study relies on the method of direct interviews with informants. The study results show that the average fixed and variable monthly costs, average revenue, and average monthly profit are "very efficient." Even though the RCR in the salted fish processing business in Bontang Kuala is classified as "efficient", obstacles still lead to entrepreneurs' prosperity and the allocation of supporting equipment. The implications of the findings are discussed and explored in subsequent publications.     Tingkat Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) pada Berbagai Topografi Lahan

    This study aims to compare oil palm growth and yield in various topography on one stretch of land. Topography can affect the rate of erosion on agricultural land. High erosion rates transport nutrients to lower places, reducing land productivity, including oil palm plantations. It conducted the research by taking data on the growth and production of palm oil at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XIV Keera-Maroangin Unit in October - December 2020. Observations were made of oil palm plantations on 3 types of land topography, namely (1) flat land: slope <3%, with a height difference <2 m, (2) undulating land: slope 8-15%, with a height difference of 10-50 cm, and (3) hilly land: slope 15-30%, with a height difference of 50-300 cm. Available secondary data is data from samples taken using a systematic random method. The sample data was then statistically processed using the two-party test method at the 0.05 level. The results showed that all growth parameters, namely plant height (98.09 cm), trunk circumference (301.94), frond length (413.94 cm) and bunch weight production (6.76 kg) of oil palm were found to be better on land with flat topography than other types of topography, while undulating land is better than sloping land, except for the parameter of frond length, oil palm growth and production are better than sloping land.This study aims to compare oil palm growth and yield in various topography on one stretch of land.
