This research aims to study the effect of using organic fertilizers on the growth and yield of soybeans. Besides, to study the selection of the best types of organic fertilizers to increase the soil's ability to absorb water so that it can increase yield even in drought conditions. The research was carried out in the Faculty of Agriculture screen house, Indonesian Muslim University, Makassar, with the type of alfisol soil. The design used as factorial based on a randomized block design, which consisted of 2 factors. The first factor is the use of organic fertilizers, namely without organic fertilizers (P0), chicken manure (P1), Azolla compost (P2), and bokashi waste (P3). The second factor is the quantity of water supply, namely 350 mm/season (Al), 450 mm/season (A2), and 550 mm/season (A3). The results showed an interaction between the type of organic fertilizer and the amount of water supply on the total dry weight of the plant at harvest, the number of seeds, and the percentage of seed success. The enormous total dry weight of plants and the largest number of sources occurred in the combination of giving chicken manure and a water supply of 550 mm/season. Meanwhile, the highest percentage of seeds was in the variety of Azolla fertilizer treatment and water supply of 350 mm/season. The water supply treatment also significantly affects plant height, the number of leaves, and plants' total dry weight. Simultaneously, the yield components, namely the dry weight of seeds and the weight of 100 seeds with a water supply of 550 mm/season produced the best results

The Sodohoa fish auction site is an area with high levels of daily pollution in the city of Kendari. So far, the activities of fish buying and selling businesses have not shown any effort to control the problems caused by the almost daily production of fishery product waste. This problem becomes the focal point for problem solving that will be carried out in the Community Partnership Program assistance. The aim of this activity is to increase community knowledge and skills through the use of fishery processing waste into organic fertilizer thereby improving the use value and economic value of the waste. Program implementation began with discussion activities with partner groups and local communities involved in fish buying and selling activities at the Sodohoa Fish Auction Place through discussion group forums. The methods used to solve partner group problems are (1) counseling and improving skills in processing fishery waste into organic fertilizer, (2) coaching and mentoring, and (3) dissemination and trials of the use of organic fertilizer. The Pabalu Balu partner group has been able to make organic fertilizer using a simple method from waste raw materials in the form of offal which is often found at TPI Sodohoa and has been trialled with the Subur Makmur partner group, with the hope that they can switch to using organic fertilizer made from fishery waste instead of artificial fertilizers. they have often used it so far

Soil fungi, which produce hormones that occupy the rhizosphere ecosystem, have roles as agents to promote plant growth. This study aims to isolate rhizosphere fungi in mahogany in the Experiment Forest of Universitas Hasanuddin, and identify the fungal isolates obtained based on morphological characters. The research began with rhizosphere soil sampling, isolation, and identification based on morphological characters. The rhizosphere microbial isolation on mahogany stands in the Unhas Educational Forest obtained 18 fungal isolates with varied morphological characteristics, both in colony color and elevation. Microscopic observations resulted in 4 genera, namely Rhizopus, Gliocladium, Trichoderma, and Aspergillus. The results showed that there were superior fungi isolates that could produce growth hormones and could be applied to forest plant seeds. The formula with these select fungi can give the seeds optimal growth in forest plant seeds

Ruminant livestock development is largely determined by the carrying capacity of feed sources because the availability of quality feed is a major factor of success. The quality of natural grass that has been relied on so far must be improved by utilizing superior grass which produces better biomass and nutrients. Mulato grass (Brachiaria hybrid cv. Mulato) is one of the superior grasses that has not been widely cultivated in South Sulawesi. This study aims to look at the growth of mulato grass fertilized with different types of manure. The research design applied was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments of giving fertilizers and 3 consecutive repetitions consisting of no treatment, administration of goat feces, treatment of cow feces, and treatment of layer chicken feces. The variables observed were plant height, plant length, number of tillers, and number of leaves which were carried out every week after being uniform. The results showed that the use of cow feces gave the best results on all variables measured in details of the best plant height 44.2 cm, plant length 68.3 cm, 70 pieces, and 11.3 tillers

Availability of pepper seeds continuously, good quality, and free from stem rot disease is still limited at the farmer level. This study aims to determine the composition of the planting medium and the best concentration of organic fertilizers in spurring pepper seeds' growth. The study was compiled using a two-factor factorial design based on a randomized block design. The first factor is the media's composition for planting sand, compost, and soil in 5 levels, namely 1:0:1, 1:1:0, 1:1:1, 1:2:1, and 2:1:1. The second factor is applying liquid organic fertilizer (POC), made from forage. It consists of three levels of concentration, namely POC 10 ml, 20 ml, and without POC (control). Fifteen treatment combinations were repeated three times. The results showed that the combination of POC and the composition of the planting medium could stimulate pepper seedlings' growth. POC 20 ml/liter and the composition of the media of sand + compost + soil 1:1:0 and 1:1:1 resulted in the best shoot lengths, namely 13.91 cm and 13.23 cm, respectively. The planting medium of sand + compost + soil with a composition of 1:1:1 was able to spur the emergence time of pepper cuttings faster, namely 19.13 days after planting, and the number of leaves was higher, namely 5.40

Quality control is needed by the company to improve the quality of the products produced so that they are by the company's standards and by consumer desires. Maintaining the quality of the products made is also necessary to reduce the company's quality assurance costs. The research objective was to analyze the quality control of the products produced and identify the factors that damage the products produced by the Ayu Tangkas Women Farmers Group (WFG). The method used in this research is the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method with analysis using the p-control chart and the Fishbone Diagram. The population in the study were all products produced by WFG Ayu Tangkas in December 2019. The results showed that the quality of snacks made by WFG Ayu Tangkas, as many as 4280 pieces, were under control. This can be seen from the 28 points between the Lower Control Limit (LCL) and Upper Control Limit (UCL). There are only two points that are above the UCL control limit. The factor that causes deterioration in Ayu Tangkas WFG snacks' quality is that the ingredients are not measured with certainty using only the snack maker considerations. Besides, they do not use manufacturing machines, so that the sizes are often not the same because there is no definite SOP for the manufacturing process. There is no promotion so that snacks are made still at a constant volume and the use of firewood in the manufacture so that the heat generated is unstable, causing the snacks to burn and break frequently
