    Get PDF
Stunting is a condition characterized by stunted growth and development in children caused by nutritional problems, infectious diseases, and various other factors that can affect children's health. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors influencing the prevalence of stunting in toddlers in 34 provinces in Indonesia during the period 2020-2023. The variables analyzed included Egg Protein Consumption (KPT), Access to Clean Water (AAB), Access to Health Services (ALK), Average Years of Schooling for Girls (RLSP), and Family Planning (KB). This study used panel data regression analysis with a cross-sectional sample of 34 provinces and a time series sample of 2020-2023. Data were obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Health. After conducting the Chow and Hausman tests, the best estimation model for this study was the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of this study indicate that access to clean water and average years of schooling for girls have a significant negative effect on stunting. Meanwhile, egg protein consumption, access to health services, and family planning did not show a significant effect on stunting in the 34 provinces in Indonesia

    Get PDF
This research aims to analyze the influence of Organizational Commitment and Perceived Organizational Support on the achievement of the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision within the BPKP environment, with Leadership Transformation as a moderating variable. The dynamic nature of change and the high demands for adaptation in realizing the national development vision place BPKP in a strategic position. However, the success of this adaptation heavily depends on individual readiness and organizational support. This study examines how employees' readiness to face change and their perceptions of organizational support can drive the achievement of these long-term goals. Furthermore, Leadership Transformation characterized by the ability to inspire, drive change, and align team efforts with organizational vision—is hypothesized to strengthen or weaken the relationship between Organizational Commitment and Perceived Organizational Support with the achievement of the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision. A quantitative approach using surveys will be employed to collect data from BPKP employees. The data obtained will then be analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The results of the study indicate that Organizational Commitment and Perceived Organizational Support have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of transformation towards the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision. Moreover, Leadership Transformation has been proven to strengthen the influence of these independent variables, meaning that high levels of commitment and support, combined with transformational leadership qualities, will enhance BPKP's success in achieving the goals of Indonesia Emas 2045

The Resilience of the Sharia Economic System in Facing Various Crises in Post-Pandemic Indonesia

    Get PDF
Sharia economics is considered to be a fairer and more stable economic system than conventional economics. This study aims to analyze the resilience of the Islamic economy in the face of the crisis, which proved to be better in 2008. Many Islamic banks have stronger resilience than conventional banks that use a lot of speculative instruments. Although there is a lot of research on Sharia economic resilience during the pandemic, there is still a lack of studies on post-pandemic resilience. The post-pandemic situation is very important because it builds the economy after a difficult crisis, including in Indonesia, where there is a slowdown in economic growth. The Indonesian government has taken many steps, including monetary policies for economic recovery, such as the PEN Program, which provides tax incentives, the recovery of SOEs, and support for MSMEs. This study has two hypotheses: whether or not the sharia economy is strong in the face of post-pandemic economic instability. The method used is qualitative with expert exploration and comparative analysis. The results show that the sharia economy has advantages such as a fair profit-sharing system, but also faces challenges such as a lack of capital and innovation. Therefore, strengthening regulations and public education is very important for the development of the sharia economy in the future

An Analysis of Expenditure Management Procedures at the Department of Food Crops and Horticulture

    Get PDF
Regional financial governance in Indonesia continues to face challenges in implementing structured and accountable expenditure procedures, especially within technical agencies. One such case is the West Java Provincial Office of Food Crops and Horticulture, where high operational demands and limited staff competencies often lead to procedural inconsistencies and weakened internal control systems. This study aims to evaluate the conformity of spending procedures with regulatory frameworks and to uncover key institutional obstacles impeding effective financial management. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered through structured interviews, direct observations, and document analysis, then interpreted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results reveal critical procedural gaps including the absence of dedicated verification officers, overlapping financial roles, and inadequate standard operating procedures (SOPs). These factors collectively diminish internal control and undermine the credibility of financial reporting. The study concludes that organizational improvements, particularly in staff role separation, technical training, and SOP reform, are essential to strengthen accountability and transparency. The findings contribute to the theoretical understanding of internal control systems and provide practical recommendations for enhancing expenditure governance in regional public institutions

Students Perceptions in Choosing the Sharia Banking Major in Relation to Future Career Prospects (Case Study on Sharia Banking Students at UINSU)

    Get PDF
Student perception plays a vital role in shaping attitudes, interests, and decisions, particularly in choosing a major and planning a career. Each individual has different perceptions depending on background, expectations, and information received. This study aims to explore the perceptions of final-year and new students in choosing the Sharia Banking major with regard to career prospects. Many students still believe that graduates can only work in banks, although opportunities are more diverse. The research method applied is qualitative, using open-ended questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents, consisting of 50 new and 50 final-year students. The findings show that final-year students possess a broader understanding due to academic and internship experiences, while new students tend to have limited views. Factors influencing perceptions include experience, knowledge, and environment. The study suggests the need for early career prospect socialization, stronger collaboration between universities and industry, and students’ active efforts in seeking information and developing skills

Analysis of Zakat Maal Management to Improve the Dhuafa Economy (Case Study on Laznas IZI North Sumatra)

    Get PDF
This study aims to examine the management of zakat maal in improving the welfare of the poor with a case study on LAZNAS IZI North Sumatra. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method through interviews, observations, and document review. The results show that zakat collection is carried out through several mechanisms, such as direct payments, bank transfers, zakat pick-up services, and socialization to muzaki. However, low zakat literacy is still an obstacle in optimizing the potential for collection. In terms of distribution, zakat is distributed in a consumptive and productive form with a transparent survey and reporting system. This pattern is considered more advanced than a number of other zakat institutions that tend to be consumptive. Empowerment programs such as Lapak Berkah, business capital assistance, skills training, and scholarships have been proven to be able to increase the income and independence of some mustahik. However, the impact is not even due to the limitations of mentoring and low literacy of the beneficiaries' businesses. Other obstacles encountered include the scattered location of mustahik, the minimal number of companions, inappropriate use of funds, and limited program funds. Overall, the management of zakat maal in IZI North Sumatra contributes positively to improving the welfare of the poor, although it needs to be strengthened through continuous mentoring, increasing financial literacy, and wider cooperation so that the results are more optimal and sustainable

The Influence of Monetary And Macroprudential Policies on Risktaking Behavior of Commercial Banks in Indonesia

    Get PDF
This study aims to determine the influence of monetary and macroprudential policies on the risk-taking behavior of commercial banks in Indonesia. The research employs a quantitative analysis method using a time-series data approach. The data used are time-series data from January 2016 to December 2024 (108 observations). The data source is the Indonesian Financial and Economic Statistics Report obtained from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) website. The method applied in this study is the ARDL (Autoregressive Distributed Lag) model using EViews 12 as the analytical tool. The ARDL method is an econometric approach used to estimate short-run and long-run relationships among economic variables. The results of the study indicate that the BI Rate has a significant negative effect on the risk-taking behavior of commercial banks in Indonesia. The money supply has an insignificant negative effect, while the loan-to-value ratio (LTV) and countercyclical capital buffer (CcB) both have insignificant positive effects on risk-taking. Inflation shows a significant positive effect, and the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) also has a significant positive effect on the risk-taking behavior of commercial banks in Indonesia. There are three recommendations for future research. First, future studies are encouraged to use data with a longer time span or to expand the scope of banks (e.g., including Islamic banks and regional development banks) to test the consistency of results. Second, additional variables such as Non-Performing Loans (NPL), bank size, and profitability may be incorporated to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing bank risk-taking. Lastly, employing dynamic panel approaches or nonlinear models may enhance the robustness and depth of the analysis
