The Meaning of Environmental Accountability in Daily Practice: A Phenomenological Study of Cleaning Officers
This study aims to explore the meaning of environmental accountability based on the lived experiences of janitorial staff at Hasanuddin University using an interpretive phenomenological approach. Environmental accountability in higher education has generally been understood through formal policies, reporting systems, and green campus programs, while the experiences of frontline actors who maintain environmental sustainability on a daily basis remain underexplored. Through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, this research examines how janitors construct ecological awareness, moral responsibility, and the personal meaning of their work. The findings reveal that environmental accountability is understood as a moral, social, and spiritual responsibility. Janitors perceive campus cleanliness as an act of worship, stewardship, and a contribution to environmental preservation. Local Bugis-Makassar cultural values sipakatau, siri' na pacce, and sipakainge strongly shape their work ethics and collective sense of responsibility. The study also identifies a gap between formal environmental accountability and lived experience, as janitors are not significantly involved in campus sustainability policymaking despite their vital operational role. This research highlights that environmental accountability is phenomenological, moral, and cultural in nature. It suggests the need for a more inclusive accountability model grounded in the lived experiences of frontline environmental actors
Analysis of the Effect of Display and Promotion on Purchase Decisions at Surya Toserba Cirebon
Tight competition in the modern retail industry encourages companies to implement appropriate marketing strategies, particularly through product display arrangements and sales promotions. This study aims to analyze the influence of displays and promotions on consumer purchasing decisions at Surya Toserba Cirebon. The method used is quantitative with a descriptive and associative approach, using a questionnaire instrument on 101 respondents. Validity and reliability tests show that all indicators in the research variables are valid and reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha value > 0.9. The results of multiple regression analysis indicate that displays and promotions have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.562 indicates that both variables are able to explain 56.2% of the variation in consumer purchasing decisions, while the remainder is influenced by other factors outside the research model. Promotions are proven to have a more dominant influence than displays, indicating that consumers are more responsive to promotional incentives such as discounts, vouchers, and bundling. These findings imply that retail management needs to combine attractive display strategies with varied promotions to increase sales effectiveness
The Influence of Human Resource Management (HRM) in Improving Organizational Performance
This study aims to analyze the influence of Human Resource Management (HRM) on organizational performance using a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. HRM in this study is proxied through several main dimensions, namely recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, and compensation systems. Meanwhile, organizational performance is measured based on aspects of productivity, operational effectiveness, and the achievement of the organization's strategic goals. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale to respondents who met the criteria as employees or active managers in various types of organizations. Analysis was conducted using SmartPLS software to test the measurement model and structural model. The results show that all dimensions of HRM have a positive and significant influence on organizational performance. This indicates that the better the implementation of HRM practices, the higher the level of organizational performance. These findings reinforce the importance of human resource management as a strategic factor in achieving competitive advantage and organizational sustainability in various sectors
Alms in the Name of the Deceased in the Perspective of Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah
This study examines the practice of alms on behalf of the deceased from the perspective of NU and Muhammadiyah, with a case study in Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency. This alms is a tradition to pray and ask for forgiveness for the deceased, having religious and social meaning in Muslim society. The goal is to understand the concepts, procedures, and views of the laws and Islamic teachings of the two organizations in forming alms practices in the region. A normative-empirical approach with a comparative method is used, with a normative focus on the study of the Qur'an, hadith, and fatwa of NU (Bahtsul Masail) and Muhammadiyah (Tarjih) on the law of alms for the deceased. Data was collected through interviews with 10 informants (religious leaders, communities, residents who have given alms) and a study of documentation from written sources, archives, and fatwas. The results of the research show differences in interpretation: NU allows alms on behalf of the deceased with merits to the deceased based on authentic hadith narrated by Muslims, while Muhammadiyah states that charity is cut off after death except for three things according to the words of the Prophet PBUH. Empirically, the majority of the people of Tanjung Morawa follow NU because it is in line with tradition and filial values. This research is innovative by connecting the theological differences between the two CSOs and local social practices in an integrative manner

The research findings indicate that students who understand finance are better able to control their consumption desires and tend to invest. Students also plan to be disciplined in investing. Thus, the financial education they receive in their studies has a positive impact on managing their consumption desires and tends to lead to more effective investment in financial planning
The Role of the Implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in Achieving Regional Financial Performance Through the Efficiency of Regional Financial Management
Effective regional financial performance reflects efficient financial management supported by an integrated information system. This study aims to examine the effect of regional financial management efficiency on regional financial performance, with the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 229 respondents from Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and moderation tests. The results indicate that regional financial management efficiency significantly affects regional financial performance. Furthermore, the implementation of SIPD was found to moderate the relationship between these variables. These findings highlight the importance of utilizing information technology to enhance accountability and effectiveness in regional financial management. The study is limited by its regional scope and the quantitative method applied. Therefore, future research is recommended to adopt a mixed-method approach and include a broader regional coverage to obtain more comprehensive results

The implications of this study emphasize the importance of transformational leadership and human-centered integration in optimizing technology adoption in the public sector, particularly in the implementation of the J-KOPI-based smart city in Jember Regency
Shift Work System Among Hospital Health Workers as a Trigger of Burnout in a Systematic Literature Review
This study aims to examine the impact of shift work systems on burnout among hospital healthcare workers using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by the PRISMA method. A total of 55 articles were identified, of which 20 met the inclusion criteria (2021–2025). The review findings indicate that night shifts, long working hours (10–12 hours), and high workloads are the main factors contributing to burnout, characterized by emotional exhaustion, decreased concentration, and physical and mental health disturbances. These conditions not only affect the well-being of healthcare workers but also have implications for the quality of care and patient safety. Therefore, hospital management should design more humane shift policies through regular rotation, limitation of working hours, and organizational support such as counseling services and mental wellness programs
