    No full text
Coastal areas are one of the areas that currently have many problems, such as environmental problems and community welfare. One of the areas that has problems with these issues is Gisik Cemandi, Sedati, and Sidoarjo. One of the problems in the coastal area is the pile of shells that make the residential environment look dirty, dirty, smelly, and even become a nest for dangerous animals. The purpose of this research is to map the benefits that can be taken from shell waste so that the community can take opportunities of economic value, both as industrial activities, helping to reduce waste, and empowering coastal communities. This research uses a qualitative method with the Snowball Sampling Technique. Based on the results of the study, shell waste can be reduced to several products, namely fertilizer materials, chemical mixtures (calcium carbonate and metal adsorbents), handicrafts, animal feed mixtures, chitin-chitosan, and building material mixtures. Each of these products has its own benefits and selling value. However, this research only focuses on innovation in mapping waste products. This can be a potential opportunity for local communities to provide value to waste and improve welfare

    No full text
This study purposes to analyze the influence of Halal Awareness and free halal certification services (SEHATI) on the interest of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in obtaining halal certification in Yogyakarta City. The examination utilized a quantitative approach with 100 MSME respondents. Data were gathered through questionnaires and interpreted using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The outcome demonstrates that Halal Awareness has a positive and significant partial effect on MSME interest, suggesting that understanding the importance of halal products enhances their willingness to pursue halal certification. Additionally, SEHATI services also have a positive and significant partial impact, demonstrating that this program successfully addresses cost and technical barriers previously faced by business actors. Simultaneously, these two variables significantly contribute to increasing MSME interest in obtaining halal certification, with SEHATI services having a more dominant influence. This study concludes that a combination of internal halal awareness and external support, such as SEHATI services, can enhance MSME participation in halal certification. It is recommended that related institutions expand socialization efforts and simplify access to the program, while future research could broaden the scope of regions and variables to provide more in-depth insights

    No full text
Java Island contributes 57.05% to the Indonesian economy, with the logistics sector as one of the main contributors (13.96%) through transportation and warehousing. However, this sector faces challenges in the form of high logistics costs. Logistics performance, as measured by the Logistics Performance Index (LPI), shows a downward trend in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of integration, agility, robustness, resilience, and sustainability supply chain on supply chain performance. Using a hypothesis testing approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the AMOS program, primary data were collected from 289 logistics sector employees in Java Island using the technique of purposive sampling. The results of the study show a positive influence of supply chain integration on agility, resilience, resilience, and sustainability. Agility affects supply chain resilience and performance, while resilience also affects supply chain performance. However, there was no positive influence of resilience on resilience, resilience on performance, or integration on performance through resilience. Sustainability has the strongest influence on supply chain performance (0.834) compared to other factors. This study is limited to the logistics industry in Java Island, and it is recommended that similar studies be conducted in other sectors or regions to broaden insights. This study contributes to the supply chain literature and provides practical implications for logistics companies

The Effect of Rewards and Green Human Resource Management on Employee Turnover at the Sukoharjo District Land Office

    No full text
This study explores the influence of rewards and Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices on employee turnover at the Sukoharjo District Land Office, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Using Social Exchange Theory and Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory as the theoretical foundation, the research employed a quantitative method with PLS-SEM to analyze data from 85 purposively selected employees. Rewards included both financial (e.g., bonuses) and non-financial (e.g., recognition), while GHRM encompassed eco-friendly recruitment, environmental training, and employee engagement in sustainability programs. Results show that both rewards and GHRM significantly reduce turnover, with job satisfaction partially mediating these effects, enhancing the impact when employees feel valued and motivated. Among GHRM components, environmental training and participatory green initiatives proved most effective. Despite its contributions, the study is limited to a single public institution and does not address other potential turnover factors such as leadership, work-life balance, or career development. Future research should broaden the context and apply mixed methods to deepen understanding of sustainable HRM strategies

The Effect of Company Size and Profitability on Audit Delay

    No full text
This study examines the effect of company size and profitability on audit delay in food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2020–2022. Using a quantitative approach with secondary data from financial reports and purposive sampling, the study analyzed 114 observations through multiple linear regression after classical assumption tests. Audit delay is measured by the number of days between the fiscal year-end and the audit report date; company size is proxied by the natural logarithm of total assets, and profitability by Return on Assets (ROA). The results show that company size negatively affects audit delay, where larger firms tend to complete audits faster due to better internal controls and greater public pressure, aligning with agency and signaling theories. Profitability also influences audit delay, as higher ROA is associated with shorter delays, though the ambiguous effect of low ROA suggests possible non-linear relationships. The study acknowledges limitations, such as the exclusion of control variables like audit firm size, leverage, and firm age, and highlights the contextual relevance of the COVID-19 pandemic, which may have disrupted audit timelines. These findings provide practical insights for auditors, regulators, and stakeholders on factors influencing audit timeliness

Another option is of course as an option before tourists return to their respective cities, they can stop for a moment in Pendem Village. However, what does Pendem Village offer to tourists? So in this community service activity, a study was conducted on the readiness of Pendem Village as a buffer tourist destination for tourists who want to come to Batu City or Surabaya City. Several important variables in the study include the readiness of Pendem Village in terms of standard facilities and infrastructure, especially as a tourist destination such as basic facilities in the form of water, electricity, wifi networks, 4G or 5G networks, as well as food, drink and rest needs for tourists. Another variable that was developed was the need for space as an artificial tourist location, especially those oriented towards agricultural products such as rice and vegetables which are superior commodities in Pendem Village. The results of the study show that there needs to be an effort to improve infrastructure, especially if Pendem Village becomes a supporting tourist destination with the concept of Lumbuh Hasil Bumi Tourism Village, which is the motto for the development of Pendem Village according to the wishes of the people in Pendem Village
