Therefore, Qur'anic Education is among the earliest infrastructures that operate in every Islamic civilization, including in Indonesia. One of the important but unfortunately forgotten actors in Qur'anic Education is the Penyuluh Agama. Studies on Qur'anic Education have so far paid attention to the institutions of Qur'anic Education, both traditional ones such as pesantren, and modern ones, such as TPQ, Integrated Islamic schools, and so on, but neglect the role of Penyuluh Agama. Human Trafficking Perspektif Al-Qur'an: Tinjauan Hermeneutika Maʿnā-cum-Maghzā
Human trafficking is one of the world's problems that almost every country, including Indonesia, experiences or faces. Human trafficking is not a new issue in Indonesia, as this practise has never ceased to exist throughout the years. Humans are viewed as commodities that can be easily exploited, whereas, according to Islam, humans must be protected and granted freedom in accordance with their nature. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive analysis of human trafficking in the Qur'an so that it can be implemented in practise. This research asks how the ma'nā-cum-maghzā study in Q. Yūsuf [12]: 19-20 relates to human trafficking. As a result, this paper employs the analytical-critical method and Sahiron Syamsuddin's ma'nā-cum-maghzā theory as its methodology and focuses solely on Q. 12: 19-20. Human trafficking is not explicitly forbidden in the Qur'an, but it is described in the form of the story of the past. In the story of the Prophet Yūsuf (peace be upon him), he was a victim of human trafficking. This practise violates the right to liberty of every human being, so it is imperative that countries abandon it
Pengarusutamaan Islam Moderat Melalui Penafsiran Al-Qur’an di Media Sosial Indonesia
There is a growing recognition among certain individuals of the significance of integrating moderate Islam into the mainstream via diverse social media platforms. This article examines the methodologies employed by two prominent Indonesian social media platforms in February 2021, which consistently promote moderate Islam by interpreting Qur'anic verses. Communication technique theory is utilised to analyse the data derived from the uploads of each sample account from the moment the account was created until July 2021. The analysis provides two explanations.Firstly, the tafsiralquran.id account was founded by a group of students from UIN Sunan Ampel, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. Secondly, the quranreview account, which is led by students from Gadjah Mada University, employs two distinct approaches to mainstreaming moderate Islam. Thirdly, both accounts utilise informative-persuasive communication techniques, of which only five are present out of the six that are considered. By means of repeated insertion of key values and repetition of each account's motto and slogan, pervasive techniques are implemented. The tafsiralquran.id account seldom employs instructive techniques; in contrast, the QuranReview account makes extensive use of them via slang. Different models of human relations techniques are utilised in both accounts
Media Islam dan Kesalehan Publik: Kajian terhadap Ragam Cetakan Al-Qur'an Kontemporer di Indonesia
Along with the rapid advancement of technology, the dynamics of the Qur'an print in Indonesia develops significantly. This can be seen from the emergence of various kinds of Qur’an printing. Publishers introduce interesting innovations that suit the needs of readers and learners of the Qur'an. This phenomenon cannot be separated from the globalized online market. However, media and Islamic relations in this case are not only related to market place and the consumptive cultural structure of society, but also as a form of mediation of public piety. For this reason, this study aims to answer these questions: why the use of media in the printing of the Qur'an encourages the formation of public piety in Indonesia? How is the space of public piety built by the existence of the media, especially in contemporary Qur'an printing? This article is a bibliographic study with descriptive methods of analysis. The result of this paper is that the printing of the contemporary Qur'an in Indonesia has mediated Islamic umma to be pious people because it is designed based on the needs of each Muslim, thus encouraging them to learn the Qur’an and implement its teachings, such as the Qur'an for women, the braille Qur'an, the Qur'an for kids, al-Qur'an travel, al-Qur'an tajwid, and some are packed with sticker designs to be pasted on the windshield of vehicles and walls of the room
Dinamika Pendekatan Maʿnā cum Maghzā dalam Konteks Akademik Indonesia
An approach certainly does not exist in a vacuum but is inseparable from the study and construction of the thoughts of its predecessors. This is also the case with the maʿnā-cum-maghzā approach, a new method of understanding texts initiated by Sahiron Syamsuddin. This article discusses the dynamics of the maʿnā-cum-maghzā approach in the history of Indonesian scholarship. The questions to be answered in this study are how did the maʿnā-cum-maghzā approach emerge in Indonesia? What is the portrait and dynamics of the maʿnā-cum-maghzā approach in Indonesia? How do Indonesian academics respond to the presence of maʿnā-cum-maghzā? With an accentuation on the bibliographic research model, it is found that maʿnā-cum-maghzā is the result of a form of continuity and change to previous studies, especially in the works of Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd, Abdullah Saeed, and Fazlur Rahman. Methodically, maʿnā-cum-maghzā is similar to Fazlur Rahman's double movement and Abdullah Saeed's contextualization. However, after maʿnā-cum-maghzā was introduced as a method, especially from 2009 until this research was written (September 2021) there have been hundreds of Indonesian academics who are interested in studying and applying it to texts, both religious and non-religious texts. This phenomenon shows that the study of maʿnā-cum-maghzā in Indonesia is dynamic, especially in relation to its implications for the Qurʾān and hadith
Orientasi Penyusunan dan Wacana Kritis terhadap Tafsir Quran Tematik (TQT) Moderasi Beragama Kementerian Agama
This study examines the critical discourse and drafting orientation of the Tafsir Tematik Moderasi Beragama of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This article analyses the approach taken by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in preparing the commentary. It evaluates the approach in terms of linguistic elements, interpretation style, sources of interpretation, methodology, systematics, and critical capacity. Additionally, it explores the author's interpretation tendency (mazhab). By examining the critical discourse pertaining to moderasi beragama as expressed in the tafsir work of a prominent religious institution in Indonesia, this article also seeks to illuminate this institution's efforts in this regard. According to the findings, this tafsir employs the mauḍuʿ interpretation method and is written in the style of adabi ijtimā'i (social society). This interpretation fails to foresee the linguistic elements that constitute the moderation theme. This occurs due to the dense localization in the content of the interpretation, which obscures the presence of the Asbāb al-Nuzūl within the related verses. The development of this interpretation is inextricably linked to the agency's intent and purpose as a response to the continued spread of radicalism in Indonesia.
Mitos Perempuan dalam Meme Al-Qur'an: Kajian Semiotika Media Sosial
This article explores the phenomenon of mythologizing Qur'anic memes on social media platforms, employing Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis as a theoretical framework. The focus of this study is the examination of the Qur'anic meme pertaining to the theme of women's deceit. The extent to which the interpretation of the Qur'an depicted in the meme gives rise to myths that obfuscate its original meaning will be examined. This study has a specific objective of addressing three inquiries: firstly, the manner in which verses are interpreted within the context of the meme depicting women's deceit; secondly, the myths encompassed within the meme illustrating women's deceit; and thirdly, the implications that arise from the mythologization of memes in relation to the interpretation of the Qur'an. To address these three concerns, this study employs a descriptive-analytical approach utilising Roland Barthes' semiotic framework. Consequently, the meme illustrates a myth that arises from the amalgamation of the interpretations of Al-Nisā'[4]: 76 and Yūsuf [12]: 28, suggesting that the allure of women holds greater sway than the allure of Satan. The perpetuation of the myth engenders a sense of cynicism towards women, thereby reinforcing the prevalence of misogynistic interpretations

Bayānī reasoning in this context refers to the conceptualization of epistemology of Islamic science proposed by Muhammad 'Abid al-Jābirī. Through the descriptive-analytic method, the author examines a number of literatures related to the epistemology of science and discusses them with al-Risālah, because the relationship between this book and the epistemology of science has never been done. It is concluded that: First, bayānī reasoning in al-Jābirī's epistemological category is etymologically and methodologically related to the term bayān contained in the Risālah. Second, the source of knowledge used by al-Syāfiʿī in al-Risālah refers to the process of transmitting knowledge based on the narration of a narrator. This is like the basic character of Muhammad Abid al-Jābirī's bayānī epistemology which makes the text the source of knowledge.
