    Impact of Government Expenditure on Poverty Rate Reduction in East Java Province

    East Java is a province with a number of poor people, but on the other hand, both nationally and province, there is a reduction in poverty and inequality. This study aims to examine the effect of government expenditures on reducing poverty through economic growth and increasing the Human Development Index (HDI) in East Java Province 2015-2019. This research uses explanatory research type. Research variables include independent variables in the form of government expenditure, intervening variables namely economic growth and HDI or Human Development Index, and the dependent variable, namely poverty. Data analysis was performed using path analysis. The test results show that government Expenditure (GEXP) has no effect on Economic Growth (EG). Government Expenditure (GEXP) has no effect on the Human Development Index (HDI). Government Expenditure (GEXP) has no effect on Poverty (P). Economic Growth (EG) has no effect on poverty (P). The Human Development Index (HDI) has a significant effect on Poverty (P). Based on these results, it can be concluded that poverty alleviation can be achieved if there is an increase in the quality of human resources as reflected in the HDI

    Sharia Marketing and Employee Intelligence on Public Trust in Indonesian Islamic Banking

    The development of the Islamic banking system in Indonesia is carried out by a dual banking system within the framework of the Indonesian Banking Architecture (API). This has received a good response from the community so that it can create progressive trust. In addition to the sharia system label, there are several aspects that are thought to be factors in increasing public trust, including sharia marketing strategies and employee intelligence. The strategic process is the main pillar in gaining public attraction and trust. Likewise with the capabilities or intelligence of employees which can increase public trust. For this reason, this study aims to examine and analyze Islamic marketing and employee intelligence as an effort to increase public confidence in Islamic banking in Indonesia. This research was conducted in Jember Regency with a sample size of 100 respondents. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Islamic marketing has a significant and significant effect on public trust in Islamic banking, while employee intelligence does not show an effect on public trust in Islamic banking. The coefficient of determination obtained with an R Square value of 7.8%, this shows that public trust can be explained by the existence of Islamic marketing and the intelligence of Islamic marketing employees and employee intelligence

    FINANCIAL RATIO ANALYSIS TO ASSESS PERFORMANCE

    Purpose of this study was to determine and analyze Financial Ratios to Assess the Performance of the Lumajang Regency Transportation Service. The method used in this research is quantitative with the technique of collecting data documentation on the financial statements of the Department of Transportation in the form of operational reports, budget realization reports and balance sheets which will later be calculated the effectiveness ratio and harmony ratio and adjusted to Government Accounting Standards (SAP). The results of this study are that the Lumajang Regency Transportation Service is still not effective in 2017 and 2019 because there is a deficit in that year. Meanwhile, 2018 has been effective because the criteria are above 100%, namely 101, 39%. So it is said to be effective because the income is greater than the PAD budget and has a surplus from non-operational activities. The compatibility ratio increases every year so that the calculation has a matching criteria every year because all spending is optimized on resources

    Writing this study aims to determine the influence of leadership style and communication on employee performance. The background of this research is that employee performance is very important in organizations and institutions, where performance is the result of work that can be achieved either individually or in groups within an organization in accordance with their respective responsibilities. One of the successes or failures of an organization is the leadership that runs within the organization. A successful leader is a leader who is able to create good communication and encourage his subordinates by creating growth and development of employee performance. The population and sample in this study were employees of the Lumajang District Social Service as many as 40 respondents. The sampling technique is probability sampling with simple random sampling technique and the collection method is using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance, while communication has no significant effect on employee performance at the Lumajang Regency Social Service

    Explaining Cyberloafing Behavior: The Role of General Strain Theory

    The internet has changed the way employees get things done. However, many have not been on target regarding the use of the internet among employees. The availability of internet facilities in many organizations is used for personal gain or what is often referred to as cyberloafing behavior. General strain theory in this research is used to explain cyberloafing behavior. This behavior is not a criminal act but violates organizational regulations caused by organizational support and employee work stress. This study aims to assess the role of organizational support and reduce employee stress levels and cyberloafing behavior. The method used is in the form of PLS ​​by involving 330 government employees in Lumajang Regency as a sample. The results showed that the organizational support felt by employees was able to reduce work stress. Employees who feel work stress will tend to behave cyberloafing. The existence of high organizational support has increased employee cyberloafing behavior. The higher the perceived organizational support, the lower the level of employee work stress, and cyberloafing behavior. An important finding in this study is that the general strain theory has been able to prove the existence of cyberloafing behavior caused by organizational support and employee work stress

    Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a very important role in supporting the improvement of the economy of Wringinsongo village, Malang Regency. MSME production of papaya chips and MSME of production of jemblem are currently the leading products in Wringinsongo village and have very good prospects. The main problems that are faced by the business development of MSME papaya chips production and MSME jemblem production are the production process is very simple, there is no product development or diversification, the number of product turnover is limited and the quality is not guaranteed, and the condition of the equipment is very simple and not feasible. In addition, only one type of product is produced and made according to their own tastes and there is no good packaging so that they are less attractive to consumers. The solutions to the problem solving carried out in this community service are by providing training and assistance on how to innovate products and diversify products, provide assistance with machines and equipment that support the production process, train how to design several packaging models, labeling, and brands for the product to be produced to make it more attractive, and train the development of effective sales and promotions through online marketing through several social media such as Instagram and Facebook. The results after training and mentoring show that there is an additional variety of product types and packaging that can directly increase sales turnover

    IC is considered a strategic aspect that is able to lead the company to gain and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage, therefore the measurement of intellectual capital performance allows the company to monitor which parts need to be improved in the IC aspect, with the aim of the company being able to generate greater profits in the future. This study aims to determine the effect of Intellectual Capital, Profit Sharing Ratio, Zakat Performance Ratio and Equitable Distribution Ratio on Profitability at BPR Syariah East Java Province. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population used in this study were all Sharia Rural Banks (BPRS) of East Java Province which were recorded in the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the selected period 2015-2018 with a population of 26 banks. The sample in this study was 15 banks which were selected by purposive sampling. This study concludes that the ratio of Profit Sharing Ratio and Equitable Distribution Ratio has no effect on profitability. Except Intellectual Capital and Zakat Performance Ratio have a significant effect on ROE

    The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the Village Fund (DD) financial management cycle in Kunir Lor Village, Kunir District, whether it was in accordance with the cycle. village financial management as regulated in the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) number 20 of 2018 and to describe the Village Fund Management (DD) accountability system in Kunir Lor Village, Kunir District, Lumajang Regency. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach where the data obtained from the Office of the Village Hall of Kunir Lor, Kunir District, Lumajang Regency in the form of interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data used is primary data, where the data is processed from published data. The results of this study state that the management of village funds is divided into several stages including the planning stage, implementation stage, administration stage, reporting stage and accountability stage to Kunir Lor Village. process whose implementation is still considered ineffective

    Human Capital and Social Capital as Determining Factors of The Msmes Surviving Ability

    This study aims to analyze human capital and social capital factors that can help Batik Bojonegoro MSME to survive. Data were collected from 247 MSMEs of Bojonegoro Typical Batik producers. 105 MSMEs are still operating, while the remaining 142 MSMEs are no longer producing Jonegoroan Batik. The data were obtained through a survey on 2020. With the probit model estimation, the analysis shows that the level of education, business experience, family, number of colleagues, and family business networks has a positive influence on the ability to survive the Bojonegoro batik MSMEs. The research also found that the level of education strengthens the influence of the number of colleagues, and family business networks on the survival of MSMEs
