    The economic development and basic human needs that must be fulfilled triggered the existence of entrepreneurs group, both by productive and non-productive community. In general, because it is managed in a family or household environment, sometimes the management tends to be less serious and confused between family and business finances. From this reason, there was an interest in partnering with a honey business “Fresh Bee” owner namely Bhella Shely Afrilianti in Sumbersuko, Lumajang regency. The partner runs its business to help her family economy. The passion of partner in developing this business should be appreciated, however it requires the ability to face similar business which is quite rife. In raising Klanceng honey requires natural land because this is the advantage of Klanceng bees that its food also naturally sourced so that the honey are very high quality and a great interest to the community. The need for land is what makes this family need capital access to fulfill it. The weakness of partner mostly on financial governance which is still mixed with family finances. The implementation of this community service activity achieved the target, (1) the partner’s skill improvement in running its business in sustainable manner, (2) a simple orderly and healthy administration, which mean it is able to separate household and business finances and (3) get capital assistance from financial institutions. The intensive assistance and supervision to the partner need to be done periodically and not stop until the completion of this program. Therefore, the activeness of the team and the ranks of STIE Widya Gama Lumajang community in providing guidance to this partner needs to be carried out continuously

    UMKM Jamu is engaged in the health sector by producing traditional herbal medicine which is believed to be effective in preventing the growth of cancer cells and various other diseases. This UMKM is located in Wonorejo Village, Lumajang Regency and from the beginning, marketing was only done in the area around Lumajang. Over time, UMKM managers must think about product protection. Therefore, this assistance is carried out with the aim of being able to provide understanding to the UMKM Jamu Ibuk producers related to Intellectual Property and its benefits for UMKM. In its activities, it was explained that product protection would increase originality, so of course it would increase sales.     Community Empowerment Through Plastic Waste Recycling To Improve Community Economy

    The research aims to increase people's creativity in managing plastic waste into goods that have economic value. This research raises the issue of tackling plastic waste in Lumajang Regency. The object of this research was conducted in Pasrujambe District, Lumajang Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study model. Data collection in this study used two ways, namely interviews and observations. Furthermore, after the data was collected from the informants, analysis was carried out. The results of this study indicate that the Pasrujambe community consisting of PKK, Gerbangmas and PKK Friends enthusiastically participated in the training stages. Starting from plastic waste creation training, marketing training through social media to simple accounting training. The results of this training the community can make, among others, bags, plastic drinking containers, flowers, pencil cases, vases and so on. In addition, the community has also been able to market these products through FB, WA and Instagram and the community has also benefited from the plastic waste creation products they make

    Brand Equity Dimensions of Mediation in Satisfaction as Customer Loyalty

    Brand equity Strong will deliver value, both for customers and the company. Brand equity can be reflected in the way consumers think, feel, and act in the relationship by brand, price, market share, and profitability of a given brand for the company. This study aimed to examine the effect of the dimensions of brand equity consisting of brand awareness, brand association and perception of significant-quality partially and simultaneously on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Examine the effect of satisfaction on loyalty and satisfaction as mediator test the influence of the dimensions of brand equity consisting of brand awareness, brand association and a significant perceived quality on customer loyalty superior products glorious in Lumajang banana chips. Respondents in this study were Lumajang community and consumers totalling 200 respondents. With Sobel path analysis and testing of the obtained results of the research test brand awareness, brand association and perceived quality simultaneously significant effect on satisfaction, brand awareness while partial no effect on satisfaction. Simultaneously and partially brand awareness, brand association and perceived quality have a significant effect on loyalty. Satisfaction significant effect on loyalty and satisfaction may be a mediator on the effect of brand awareness, brand association and perception of significant quality on loyalty. Limitations of this study only examined the consumer from Lumajang community, so expected this limitation bias was investigated in future studies

    DETERMINANTS OF INTEREST IN SAVING FOR STUDENTS IN ISLAMIC BANKING

    Saving money is the way to regulate our finance effectively. Bank is one of the media that is considered quite effective for this activity. The development of Islamic economic make sharia banking practices increase in an innovative way. Various sharia bank products have become a choice for saving activity. The same thing happen for student. Although the interest to save is still lacking, but the use of sharia bank products is quite beneficial for their future. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence student interest in saving on Islamic banking. Multiple linear regression is an analysis technique with hypothesis testing to support its conclusions. With a coefficient of determination of 61.2%, the results of the analysis show the level of student education of the sharia economy has a significant effect compared to other variables on students' interest in saving. But simultaneously, all independent variables influence the interest in saving students in Islamic banking. This shows that education is very important for students, therefore STIE Widya Gama Lumajang should indeed provide quality teaching to students, especially in the field of Islamic economic

Accounting calculations on companies are needed at the production price and selling price at a company. In this case then direct this research in the calculation of production prices and selling prices. The data needed in this study can be obtained through documentation and field research. The data obtained in this analysis uses the Descriptive Quantitative method, based on the analysis shows that the calculation of production costs and selling prices using the calculation method carried out by the UD with the calculation of production costs using the variable costing method is lower than the calculations made by the company. Because the variable costing method calculates the variable costs associated with the production process and selling prices while the calculation method applied by the company lists all costs including variable overhead costs and fixed overhead costs. So that there is a difference in production costs and selling prices according to company methods and variable costing methods

    This research is about the shopping behavior of woman in traditional market. The result of the study that there are motivations shopping in traditional  market in Surabaya. This research uses qualitative approach. This sample of study was 20 people, with the criteria ten women were working woman  and ten others were housewives by using snowball sampling technique. There are 12 themes emerge in this study namely shopping motivations are  Many sellers, Cheaper price, Many choices, Good quality products, The price can be negotiable, More Economized, If consumer want the need in high quantity, If there aren’t goods in vegetable mobile seller either in modern market, If consumer has no time to buy the need in mobile vegetable seller, completeness, the product can be sold in small quantity, If the vegetable mobile sellers do not sell. The most motivated motivation by consumers shopping in traditional market is they can get cheaper price  The government should make a fair regulation among traditional market and modern retail

    THE IMPRESSION OF PROFIT QUALITY AGAINST TIMELINESS IN FINANCIAL REPORTING

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the profitability and size of the company on the timeliness of financial reporting of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016 - 2018. The data used in this study are secondary, in the form of company annual reports. The number of companies studied was 115 companies within a period of 3 years, resulting in 345 samples. This type of research is quantitative research. Where this study uses data collection methods and processes them then tested to describe the hypotheses that have been set. The selection of a sample is to use certain criteria. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Based on the test results show that the profitability and size of the company significantly influence the timeliness. The test results showed that 7.1% of the variation in timeliness was explained by variations in the independent variables, namely ROA and SIZE. At the same time, the remaining 92.9% is explained by other variables not included in this research model
