    Assistance On Packaging And Marketing Innovations In The Soy Milk Business

    Soy milk owned by Mrs. Fida is a home industry business that has been established for quite a long time. Soy milk produced is pure soy milk without preservatives with the composition of soy, sugar, salt and food coloring. Soy milk is marketed only in traditional markets, namely in Karang Duren Market and the owner has not expanded his marketing area. The problem faced by this home industry is in the field of expanding its marketing area and packaging. Soy milk is only distributed in one traditional market so that the product is less well known in other areas. The packaging of soy milk products is also classified as still not good and quality, because the plastic wrap is thin and prone to tearing and sometimes not labeled with product-related information. Based on these problems, soy milk home industry owners need assistance to market their products to other regions in order to be known by the public. In addition to marketing assistance, this devotional activity also provides assistance related to more quality packaging. Based on this reason, this community service activity aims to help Mrs. Fida as the owner of soy milk home industry in marketing her products in other areas. Product marketing is done by selling to consumers who need soy milk products in the gym / fitness center, because soy milk is high in protein that is much needed by people who exercise. This community service activity also provides guidance on related knowledge to make packaging more attractive and quality and provide capital for Mrs. Fida

    Formation of Optimal Portfolio Using Single Index Model in Investment Decisions

    The objective to be achieved in this study is to analyze the extent to which the return and risk of the optimal portfolio that is formed provides better performance than the return and risk of individual stocks. While the data needed to support this analysis are in the form of stock price data, the Composite Stock Price Index, and Bank Indonesia Certificates. The samples selected in this study were 34 companies based on sampling techniques, namely using sampling techniques purposive, means choosing a sample from a set of populations based on certain considerations or criteria set by the researcher. The data analysis method used is to compare the return and risk of the optimal portfolio with the return and risk of individual stocks to show that diversification through the formation of an optimal portfolio using a single index model can minimize investment risk. The results show that portfolio returns tend to be greater than individual stock returns. And portfolio risk is lower than the risk of individual stocks. So that the return and risk from the optimal portfolio that is formed give better performance than the return and risk of individual stocks

    Determinants of Consumer Purchase Decisions with Price and Personal Factors as Control Variables

    Research on the factors that influence consumer decisions to buy goods at Indomaret campus area, Jember. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of store layout and interior display on purchasing decisions. The number of samples used in this study was 50 people with purposive sampling and quota sampling techniques. The data collection method used in this study used a questionnaire. The analysis used includes data instrument test (validity test and reliability test), multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of data analysis, it can be seen that store layout has a positive effect on consumer decisions to make purchases at Indomaret. Meanwhile, the Interior display has no effect on consumer purchasing decisions at Indomaret. This shows that consumers do not pay much attention to the things contained in the interior display, such as store design according to the day of celebration, provision of baskets, and advertisements in the store. After entering the control variables, namely price variables, and personal factors, the test results both show that store layout and interior display have no effect on consumer decisions to make purchases at Indomaret

    The activity aims to provide financial management assistance on melijo business owners in Biting village Kutorenon Sukodono, so that the business owners are able to improve their human resources skill to manage their business; strengthen the human resources skill in bookkeeping regularly and correctly; improve the ability in separating between business and household finances; and to find easy capital access. The method of community service activity has several stages, including the initial survey, the interview to find the offered problems and solutions, business management assistance, finance management, and operational aid for melijo business owners. The partner weakness mainly lies in the limited ability of human resources in managing their business, not yet available human resources who understand about bookkeeping trade business regularly; not yet separate business and household finances and limited capital access. The targets to be achieved, including: the improvement of partners skills in running their business in sustainable manner; strengthening partners skill in bookkeeping regularly and correctly; the improvement of partner skills in separating between business and household finances and easy capital access

    THE EFFECT OF LEVERAGE, SALES GROWTH AND PROFITABILITY ON TAX AVOIDANCE

    This study aims to determine the effect of leverage, sales growth and profitability on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2019 period. This study uses a quantitative approach method. The population in this study were 181 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method, in order to obtain 47 companies that met the criteria for 2017-2019. The results of this study can be concluded that: 1) Leverage has a negative effect on tax avoidance. The higher the company's debt, the less risk of tax avoidance. 2) Sales growth has no effect on tax avoidance  because increased sales growth is an opportunity to increase high profits so that they are able to make tax payments. 3) Profitability no effect on tax avoidance due to the higher profitability, then further reduce the rate of tax avoidance a company

    Stakeholder Theory Perspective in the Risk Identification Process in Village Government

    The purpose of this article is to explore the idea of ​​the risk identification process in village government from the perspective of stakeholder theory. This article attempts to demonstrate the importance of risk management in village governance by considering what risks can be identified regarding key stakeholders. Stakeholder theory is used as a theoretical basis in exploring the roles and interests of stakeholders related to village governance.  Based on the findings drawn from risk identification process,  there are nine identified risks from the four main stakeholder categories of village governance. Based on the identification of stakeholders in the village government, it could be proposed that stakeholder management in integrated risk management in the village government can be carried out and increase the effectiveness on risk and stakeholder management and this would prompts further empirical research. Furthermore, future research directions are suggested by enabling the integration of risk management and stakeholders to benefit the management process and outcomes of risk and stakeholders management. There is potential in the effectiveness of risk management in village government through new ways of thinking, analyzing, and then managing risks and integrating them with stakeholders holistically, rather than traditional efforts in each area. In the future, integrating risk management and stakeholders is very challenging, but it can be a new way to improve the performance of village government with the feasibility and benefits that need to be studied further

    Determinant of Audit Fee

    The credibility of financial reports is very important to increase the trust of parties outside the company. Several studies identified audit costing as providing credible evidence that a client's financial condition at risk demands more rigorous audit procedures. This study aims to identify whether Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) have an impact on audit costs. The research data are companies that have been registered in the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) for the period 2016 to 2018. The study population was 50 companies, while the research sample was 33 companies using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the regression analysis show that CSR does no effect on audit costs, the CSR program carried out and disclosed by the company is not included in the audit of the client's business by the auditor. Thus, the size of the CSR disclosure cannot affect audit costs. Meanwhile, GCG has a positive effect on audit costs. Companies with a good CGPI score can pay more audit fees because they have higher financial standards, so they choose the big four KAP which are more integrated and qualified

    INTELLIGENCE AS A PRODUCT MARKETING STRATEGY IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET

    One principal use of language is to communicate meaning, but it is also to establish and maintain relationship. There are the different aims in speaking skill and the implementation in activity, for casual conversation and discussion. The aim of this study is to know the influence of Intelligence in using English with the marketing strategy of a product in the International Market. The design of this study is correlation design since it used statistical measurement for the data analysis to describe the relationship between two variables and is analyzed by using Pearson-Product Moment formula. There are 62 purposive sampling from 4 classes and using three instruments: test of IQ, documentation, and assessment. The result of this study is the influence of Intelligence in using English and the marketing strategy of a product in the International Market is dominant with coefficient correlation 0.220. So, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hi) is accepted
