    No full text
In learning Mathematics, there are still students who experience misconceptions about solving problems in story form, this happens because the cognitive styles possessed by each student are different. This research aims to determine misconceptions in solving numerical literacy problems in terms of students' cognitive styles, where the sample in this study consisted of 2 students in class VIII-B MTs Nurul Ikhlas Ambon. namely 1 student for the Field Independent cognitive style and 1 student for the Field Dependent cognitive style. This research uses descriptive research. Supporting instruments consist of the GEFT test, written test and interview guide. The research results show that the misconceptions in solving story problems are as follows: 1) Field Independent (FI): (1) In the aspect of understanding the problem, FI is said to be able to understand the problem well so that he can state what is known and asked in the question. (2) In the aspect of understanding the concept of variables, FI is still lacking in making examples of variables because it does not write examples. (3) In the aspect of understanding making mathematical models, FI is quite good at making equations. (4) In the aspect of understanding the concepts of elimination and substitution, FI is quite capable in solving story problems. 2) Field Dependent (FD): (1) In the aspect of understanding the problem, FD is said to still be lacking in understanding the problem, namely being able to state what is known and asked about questions even though he still has misconceptions about other questions. (2) In the aspect of understanding the concept of variables, FD is very poor in making examples of variables because it does not make examples. (3) In the aspect of understanding making mathematical models, FD is good at making mathematical models. (4) In the aspect of understanding the concept of elimination and substitution, FD is very less able to solve story problems using the elimination and substitution method. POSITIONING THE PHENOMENOLOGICAL APPROACH IN RELIGIOUS TEXTS

    No full text
A person's religiousness can be seen from how he understands religious texts, which implicitly shows the context he understands. Simultaneously, the existence of the text and its understanding (context) becomes an undoubted phenomenon and will attract the attention of scholars to study it, especially phenomenology. However, before further examining the phenomenon of text and context, this article will try to position phenomenology between the two. The understanding of the text relates to how individuals understand it which is heavily influenced by socio-political circumstances, while religious texts are impossible to confirm to the speakers directly. This article reveals the existence of phenomenology, which can be used to map text and context. Phenomenology is not only in the scope of life in the world that can be felt using the senses; but until aspects of language, one of which is text, can be studied through a phenomenological point of view. More precisely, phenomenology can interpret text and language using hermeneutic phenomenology Keywords: Phenomenology, Hermeneuthitc, Religius text,  Contexts Abstrak: Keberadaan pendekatan fenomenologi yang merambah pada kajian teks keagamanaan menjadi suatu realaitas yang menarik dibahas.
