    KETELADANAN SEBAGAI METODE PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK

    Artikel ini berupaya menganalisis signifikansi perilaku teladan sebagai pendekatan fundamental dalam pendidikan Islam, khususnya dalam membentuk karakter moral dan spiritual siswa dalam menanggapi tantangan pendidikan kontemporer. Pembahasannya menekankan bagaimana sikap dan perilaku guru menjadi media praktis untuk mentransmisikan nilai-nilai etika, spiritual, dan sosial kepada peserta didik dalam konteks era digital. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif berbasis pustaka, memanfaatkan literatur, artikel jurnal, dan penelitian terdahulu yang relevan yang mengkaji penerapan praktik teladan dalam lingkungan belajar Islam. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meneladani perilaku baik tetap menjadi salah satu pendekatan paling berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan karakter, karena menyelaraskan dimensi kognitif, emosional, dan perilaku melalui keteladanan hidup pendidik. Pemodelan pribadi semacam itu tidak hanya memupuk kesadaran moral siswa tetapi juga mendorong motivasi internal yang tulus untuk mewujudkan prinsip-prinsip Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Keberhasilan metode ini sangat bergantung pada ketulusan, konsistensi tindakan, dan kedalaman kualitas kesadaran spiritual pendidik yang harus terlihat jelas baik di dalam kelas maupun dalam ranah publik digital yang lebih luas. Oleh karena itu, perilaku teladan muncul sebagai strategi pedagogis yang vital dalam pendidikan Islam, yang berfungsi untuk menghubungkan ilmu pengetahuan dengan penerapan etika dan menumbuhkan peserta didik yang beriman, bermoral kokoh, dan mampu beradaptasi dengan dunia modern.Kajian ini berupaya menelaah secara mendalam peranan keteladanan sebagai pendekatan utama dalam pendidikan Islam, terutama dalam upaya pembentukan karakter peserta didik yang relevan dengan dinamika pendidikan modern. Fokus pembahasan diarahkan pada bagaimana sikap dan perilaku guru dapat menjadi media efektif dalam internalisasi nilai-nilai moral, spiritual, serta sosial di tengah perkembangan teknologi dan budaya digital yang pesat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai referensi ilmiah, jurnal akademik, serta hasil penelitian terdahulu yang mengkaji implementasi keteladanan dalam sistem pendidikan Islam. Berdasarkan hasil analisis literatur, keteladanan dipandang sebagai metode yang sangat efektif dalam membangun karakter peserta didik karena memadukan dimensi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik melalui praktik nyata dalam perilaku pendidik. Keteladanan juga ikut serta dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran moral dan mendorong motivasi intrinsik peserta didik untuk berperilaku sesuai ajaran Islam. Keberhasilan penerapan metode ini ditentukan oleh kualitas pribadi guru yang meliputi integritas, konsistensi perilaku, dan kedalaman spiritual yang tercermin baik dalam lingkungan pendidikan maupun ruang publik digital. Dengan demikian, keteladanan dapat diposisikan sebagai strategi penting dalam pendidikan Islam yang mampu menjembatani antara pengetahuan dan pengamalan nilai, serta membentuk generasi beriman, berakhlak mulia, dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman

    The Relationship Between Reading Interest and Critical Thinking Skills in Islamic History Learning at MTs PPP Syekh M. Muhsin

    This research was motivated by the low reading interest of students in Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subjects, which negatively affects the development of their critical thinking skills. The study aimed to describe students’ level of reading interest, their critical thinking ability, and the relationship between the two among eighth-grade students of MTs PPP Syekh M. Muhsin. A quantitative correlational approach was employed with a total population of 30 students, all of whom were selected as the research sample using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a reading interest questionnaire and a critical thinking essay test, and analyzed using Pearson’s product-moment correlation with SPSS version 26. The findings revealed that both reading interest and critical thinking skills were at a moderate level. The correlation coefficient (rxy) obtained was 0.781, which exceeded the rtable value of 0.361 at the 5% significance level, indicating a strong and significant relationship. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant correlation between reading interest and students’ critical thinking skills in SKI subjects at MTs PPP Syekh M. Muhsin. These results highlight that the higher the students’ reading interest, the better their ability to think critically, thus emphasizing the importance of strengthening literacy practices in SKI learning.Penelitian ini didasari oleh minimnya ketertarikan siswa terhadap pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI), yang berimbas pada kurangnya pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tingkat minat membaca, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta hubungan antara keduanya pada siswa kelas VIII di MTs PPP Syekh M. Muhsin. Populasi yang diteliti terdiri dari 30 siswa, dan semuanya dijadikan sampel dengan menerapkan teknik pengambilan sampel total. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup kuesioner mengenai minat baca serta ujian esai yang bertujuan untuk menilai kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Data dianalisis melalui uji korelasi product moment Pearson dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 26. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat baca siswa tergolong sedang, begitu pula dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang mereka miliki. Koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0,781 melebihi nilai rtabel 0,361 pada tingkat signifikansi 5%, yang menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan antara kedua variabel. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan berarti antara minat baca dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam mata pelajaran SKI di MTs PPP Syekh M. Muhsin. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan minat baca siswa akan berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang mereka miliki.     The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Enhancing Students’ Ability to Understand Learning Materials at SMA Negeri 1 Tual

    Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a field of human knowledge that is currently developing very rapidly, especially in the digital era. Artificial Intelligence technology represents one of the most revolutionary innovations in the development of education worldwide. The use of AI-based technology in the education sector in Indonesia is still relatively new and inevitably faces various challenges; not all schools, particularly those in regional areas, have implemented AI technology in learning, either by teachers or students, to support independent learning and enhance the teaching and learning process. This study aims to examine how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used by students to improve their ability to understand learning materials and to identify the impact of AI usage on students at SMA Negeri 1 Tual. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Data were collected through questionnaires measured using a Likert Scale and analyzed using descriptive statistics, while interview data were collected to describe the benefits and impacts of AI usage. The results show that 100% of students use AI, and 61% of respondents agree that the use of Artificial Intelligence significantly helps improve their ability to understand learning materials. The positive impacts of AI utilization include serving as a tool to quickly and comprehensively find answers to assignments perceived as difficult. In addition, AI contributes to helping students independently enhance critical thinking and creativity, as well as enabling easy, practical, and flexible access to information anytime and anywhere. However, there are also negative impacts, as frequent and intensive use of AI technology over a long period has the potential to create dependency on AI applications, reduce social interaction among classmates, and potentially decrease critical thinking skills. This study is expected to provide input for the education sector in integrating AI applications into school curricula and to encourage students to use AI technology more wisely.Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) ini merupakan ilmu pengetahuan manusia yang berkembang sangat cepat saat ini terutama di era digital, teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) merupakan salah satu inovasi paling revolusioner perkembangannya di dunia pendidikan. Penggunaan teknologi berbasis AI dalam dunia pendidikan di Indonesia masih baru dan tentu mengalami berbagai tantangan, tidak semua sekolah di daerah telah menerapkan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran baik oleh guru maupun para siswa dalam membantu belajar mandiri serta menunjang proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) oleh peserta didik guna meningkatkan kemampuan dalam memahami materi pelajaran dan dampak penggunaan AI terhadap peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 1 Tual. Penelitian ini menggunakan campuran metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diukur dengan Skala Liker kemudian dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dan pengumpulan data secara wawancara dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan manfaat dan dampak dari penggunaan AI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 100% peserta didik menggunakan AI dan terdapat 61% responden menyatakan setuju bahwa penggunaan Artificial Intelligence membantu secara nyata dalam meningkatkan kemampuan memahami materi pelajaran. Dampok positif pemanfaatan AI yaitu sebagai alat bantu untuk mencari jawaban tugas yang diangap sulit dengan cepat dan lengkap, selain dampak pemanfaatan AI memberikan kontribusi dalam membantu peserta didik meningkatkan daya berpikir kritis dan kreatifitas secara mandiri, mengakses informasi dengan mudah dan praktis dan dimana saja, namun terdapat dampak negatif yaitu jika keseringan dan intens penggunaan teknologi AI dalam jangka waktu lama berpotensi menimbulkan ketergantungan terhadap teknologi aplikasi AI, mengurangi interaksi sosial antar teman di dalam kelas serta berpotensi menurunkan berpikir kritis.     EMPOWERING YOUNG THINKERS: ENHANCING COMPUTATIONAL THINKING THROUGH PROBLEM POSING AND GEOGEBRA

    Despite the growing emphasis on computational thinking (CT) in mathematics education, few studies have explored how technology-assisted problem-posing approaches can effectively enhance CT skills among elementary students. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Problem Posing learning model assisted by GeoGebra in enhancing CT skills among fifth-grade elementary students. Utilizing a quantitative Interrupted Time Series design, the study involved 24 students. The intervention was implemented over ten weeks, with three mathematics sessions per week to facilitate interactive problem creation and exploration. Data were gathered using the Computational Thinking Test (CT-Test), administered before and after the intervention. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 69.38 (pre-test) to 83.54 (post-test), with statistically significant differences confirmed by a paired sample t-test (p < 0.001). Performance across CT indicators revealed the highest gains in abstraction and generalization, while debugging remained the lowest. Gender-based analysis indicated that female students slightly outperformed males in post-test scores, though both groups demonstrated significant improvement. These findings underscore the effectiveness of integrating problem posing and GeoGebra in fostering students’ CT skills, particularly in solving word problems in mathematics.     S-GEAR: A FRAMEWORK FOR PROOF INVESTIGATION AND RECONSTRUCTION IN REAL ANALYSIS

    Students in the Mathematics Education Department at IAIN Parepare face substantial challenges in understanding and constructing proofs in Real Analysis due to limited familiarity with proof models, deductive principles, and the formal structures that underpin mathematical arguments. The absence of supporting courses such as Mathematical Logic further restricts their ability to read proof structures and interpret essential symbolic forms, including definitions involving ε–δ. This study developed the S-GeaR (Starting Point, Goals, Idea, References) strategy as a proof-investigation framework designed to guide students in systematically analyzing and reconstructing theorem proofs. Using the ADDIE development model, S-GeaR was designed, validated, and implemented through theorem investigation, collaborative discussions, and structured proof worksheets. Data were collected through tests, classroom observations, and student reflections. Quantitative results show an increase in scores from 58.2 to 76.4. Through the use of S-GeaR worksheets, students demonstrated gradual development in proof-related activities: recognizing proof methods, generating ideas and composing a complete formal proof. Qualitative findings also indicate that the procedural guidance of S-GeaR reduces cognitive load through component mapping and supports the emergence of proof ideas.     ANALISIS POLITIK HUKUM PEMBENTUKKAN INSTRUKSI PRESIDEN (INPRES) NOMOR 1 TAHUN 2022 TENTANG OPTIMALISASI PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM JAMINAN KESEHATAN NASIONAL (JKN)

    Health is a human right and must therefore be realized in accordance with the ideals of the Indonesian nation as enshrined in the Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. In early 2022, President Joko Widodo issued Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 1 of 2022 concerning the Optimization of the Implementation of the National Health Insurance (JKN) Program. This is intended to encourage Indonesians to register for the JKN program through the BPJS Kesehatan (Social Security Agency). Based on the Presidential Instruction issued by President Jokowi, JKN will collaborate with 30 Indonesian Ministries. This includes requirements for obtaining driver's licenses (SIM), vehicle registration certificates (STNK), police clearance certificates (SKCK), membership for prospective Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, and requirements for obtaining BPJS Mandatory People's Business Credit (KUR). The implementation of Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 01 of 2022 concerning the Optimization of JKN requires JKN program participation as an attached requirement for public service processes. This policy tends to force people to join BPJS Kesehatan. Many parties are pro and con regarding Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2022. This prompted the author to analyze this matter, with the formulation of the problem: Does the formation of Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2011 concerning the Optimization of the Implementation of the National Health Insurance Program comply with the regulatory formation process? What is the legal policy of the formation of Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2011 concerning the Optimization of the Implementation of the National Health Insurance Program? The purpose of this research is to examine the legal policy of the formation of Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2021 concerning the Optimization of the Implementation of the National Health Insurance Program. The type of research conducted is normative research (literature). Normative law is intended to examine and examine the legal norms of Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2011 concerning the Optimization of the Implementation of the National Health Insurance Program. The results of this research, first, the formation of Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2022 does not comply with the proper legal regulation-making procedures and harms the public service system.     PENERAPAN HUKUM PIDANA ISLAM DALAM MENANGGULANGI DAMPAK NEGATIF JUDI ONLINE PADA MASYARAKAT

    This research examines the application of Islamic criminal law in addressing the negative impacts of online gambling on society, both socially and economically. The main objective of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of applying Islamic criminal law in dealing with the negative impacts caused by online gambling through a normative juridical approach. The method used is normative juridical, examining laws and regulations, fatwas, and the principles of Islamic criminal law relevant to online gambling issues. The findings show that although Islamic criminal law is firm on gambling, its application within Indonesia's positive law has not been fully effective in mitigating the negative impacts of online gambling. In conclusion, the application of Islamic criminal law can be an alternative solution to address the negative impacts of online gambling, but it requires harmonization with the prevailing positive law in Indonesia. Additionally, preventive efforts from the government and society are necessary to prevent the spread of online gambling.     Islam dan Perubahan Kebudayaan Nusantara

      This study explores how Islam plays a significant role in shaping the value system amidts cultural transformations in society, as well as the challenges posed by technological developments that affect the local cultural values of the Nusantara. The research employs a qualitative approach using the library research method. The type of research is both normative and conceptual. The study reveals two main processes: the reformation of values and cultural acculturation. Islam does not eliminate local traditions, rather it selectively adapts and integrates them into the norms of Islamic teachings. This process enables Islam to take strong root in local culture, influencing various aspects of life including the social, political, educational, and astistic spheres. The study also highlights the challenges of globalization to cultural identity and emphasizes the imprtance of preserving local wisdom through education and community participation. The findings indicate that Islam functions not only as a religion but also as a civilizational force capable of harmonizing universal values with the diversity of local cultures. This research provides a framework for understanding the dynamic interaction between Islam and local culturel and offers guidance for maintaining cultural integrity in the face of globalization. Keywords: Islam, Culture, Acculturation, Globalization, Identity Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji peran Islam dalam sistem nilai peruabahan kebudayaan masyarakat Nusantara, serta tantangan yang dihadapi akibat perkembangan globalisasi yang mempengaruhi nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka, penelitian ini bersifat normatif dan konseptual. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Islam berperan sebagai kekuatan transformatif yang memengaruhi perubahan budaya melalui proses akulturasi, reformasi nilai, dan kontekstualisasi ajaran agama dalam tradisi lokal. Akulturasi menghasilkan bentuk budaya hibrida, seperti arsitektur Masjid Agung Demak, wayang suluk, serta tradisi selamatan yang direinterpretasi dalam kerangka tauhid. Reformasi nilai memperlihatkan bagaimana ajaran Islam mengubah orientasi moral, etika komunal, dan struktur sosial masyarakat sehingga membentuk identitas keagamaan yang inklusif dan moderat. Islam juga memberikan pengaruh signifikan pada aspek politik, pendidkan, serta seni budaya, menjadikannya kekuatan peradaban yang menata ulang tatanan sosial dan simbolik Nusantara. Namun globaliasi menghadirkan tantangan berupa homogenisasi budaya dan erosi identitas lokal. Dalam konteks ini Islam Nusantara relevan sebagai paradigma moderasi dan pelestarian budaya melalui pendidikan, penguatan komunitas, dan revitalisasi tradisi lokal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Islam dan budaya Nusantara berinteraksi secara dinamis, menghasilkan identitas khas yang adaptif serta mampu menghadapi tantangan global. Kata kunci: Islam, Kebudayaan, Akulturasi, Globalisasi, IdentitasPenelitian ini membahas bagaimana Islam memainkan peran penting terhadap sistem nilai perubahan kebudayaan masyarakat, serta tantangan terhadap perkembangan globalisasi yang mempengaruhi nilai-nilai budaya lokal Nusantara. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan dua proses utama: reformasi nilai dan akulturasi budaya. Islam tidak menghapus tradisi lokal, tetapi secara selektif menyesuaikan dan mengintegrasikannya ke dalam norma-norma ajaran Islam. Proses ini memungkinkan Islam berakar kuat dalam budaya lokal, memengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan seperti sosial, politik, pendidikan dan seni. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti tantangan globalisasi terhadap identitas budaya dan pentingnya pelestarian kearifan lokal melalui pendidikan dan partisipasi masyarakat. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Islam tidak hanya sebagai agama, tetapi juga sebagai kekuatan peradaban yang mampu menyelaraskan nilai-nilai universal dengan keragaman budaya lokal.     ZILLENIAL MICROGENERATION: HYBRID TRAITS, DIGITAL BEHAVIOR, AND GENERATIONAL BOUNDARIES

    This narrative review explores the emerging concept of Zillennials, a microgeneration situated between Millennials and Generation Z, by synthesizing existing literature on their defining traits, values, and sociocultural behaviors. The study aims to clarify the characteristics that distinguish Zillennials from their parent generations, addressing the ambiguity surrounding generational boundaries. Using Google Scholar as the primary database, 434 initial sources were screened, resulting in 22 relevant studies. Text Data Mining and thematic analysis were employed to extract recurring themes and construct a coherent generational profile. Findings reveal that Zillennials exhibit hybrid traits, such as being digitally fluent yet cautious adopters of new technologies, valuing work-life balance and flexible arrangements, and demonstrating strong social awareness and ethical consumer behavior. Their communication style favors structured feedback and digital interaction, while their learning preferences lean toward independent, tech-supported methods. As a generational bridge, Zillennials blend the pragmatism of Millennials with the innovation of Gen Z, making them uniquely positioned to mediate cultural and technological shifts. By synthesizing fragmented insights across disciplines, this study provides a consolidated generational profile that advances our understanding of microgenerational identity and its implications. The study concludes that Zillennials should be recognized as a distinct cohort in educational, organizational, and societal contexts. Future researchers are recommended to explore their experiences across diverse settings and examine their responses to rapid digital and economic change

    PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PUISI BEBAS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR

    The ability to write free verse poetry among junior high school students remains relatively low due to the limited variety of instructional models that can stimulate creativity and meaningful learning experiences. This condition indicates the urgency of applying more active and contextual learning models. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the experiential learning model assisted by picture media in improving the free verse writing skills of eighth-grade students at SMPN Satu Atap Cikawao, Sumedang. The research employed a pretest–posttest control group design by comparing the learning outcomes of the experimental and control groups.The results show that the experimental group experienced a more significant improvement than the control group. The writing scores of students in the experimental group increased from 5.6435 to 7.7739 (an improvement of 2.1304), whereas the control group increased from 5.4533 to 7.0200 (an improvement of 1.5667). In addition, students responded positively to the use of picture media as a stimulus for creativity. These findings confirm that the experiential learning model assisted by picture media is effective in enhancing skills for writing free verse poetry.This study contributes to enriching instructional strategies in Indonesian language learning, particularly in developing creative writing skills. Further studies are recommended to apply this model at different grade levels or school contexts and to examine the integration of other visual media to obtain more comprehensive results.Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai efektivitas model pembelajaran experiential learning yang dipadukan dengan media gambar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi bebas pada siswa kelas VIII di SMPN Satu Atap Cikawao, Sumedang.
