    Organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan: Bagaimana peranan quality of work life?

    This study aims to examine the relationship between quality of work life and organizational citizenship behavior at PT KAI (Persero) Operational Area 8 Surabaya. The approach used in this study is quantitative with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 108 employees selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected directly using a printed questionnaire, which contained a quality of work life scale and an organizational citizenship behavior scale. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman's rho correlation technique. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant positive relationship between quality of work life and organizational citizenship behavior with rxy = 0.515, p = 0.000 (p < 0.01).   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara quality of work life dengan organizational citizenship behavior karyawan PT KAI (Persero) Daerah Operasi 8 Surabaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 108 karyawan yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan secara langsung menggunakan kuesioner cetak, yang memuat skala quality of work life serta skala organizational citizenship behavior. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi Spearman’s rho. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara quality of work life dan organizational citizenship behavior dengan rxy = 0,515, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01)

    This study examines the relationship between organizational culture and organizational citizenship behavior among teachers at vocational high schools in Surabaya. Active teacher involvement is a challenge in improving the effectiveness of schools as educational organizations. This study aims to determine the extent to which organizational culture is related to teachers' organizational citizenship behavior. This study used a quantitative correlational approach. The study population consisted of 110 vocational high school teachers in Surabaya, with 86 respondents being selected using a random sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with a rating scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. There is a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and organizational citizenship behavior, meaning that the stronger the organizational culture, the higher the organizational citizenship behavior among teachers. This finding emphasizes the importance of strengthening organizational culture as a strategy to encourage teacher involvement. Building a strong organizational culture can be a strategic step in improving the quality of human resources and organizational effectiveness at the school level.   Penelitian ini membahas hubungan budaya organisasi dan perilaku kewargaan organisasi pada guru di sekolah menengah kejuruan di surabaya. Keterlibatan aktif guru menjadi tantangan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas sekolah sebagai organisasi Pendidikan. Adanya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauh mana budaya organisasi berhubungan dengan perilaku kewargaan organisasi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional .Populasi penelitian berjumlah 110 yang merupakan guru sekolah menengah kejuruan di surabaya dengan sampel yang diambil adalah 86 responden menggunakan Teknik random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dengan skala penilaian yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara budaya organisasi dan perilaku kewargaan organisasi, atau semakin tinggi budaya organisasi maka semakin tinggi perilaku kewargaan organisasi pada guru. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan budaya organisasi sebagai strategi untuk mendorong keterlibatan guru sehingga membangun budaya organisasi yang kuat dapat menjadi langkah strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan efektivitas organisasi di tingkat sekolah

    Premanisme di Jalanan Surabaya: Bagaimana Learned Helplessness Mempengaruhi Persepsi terhadap Tukang Parkir Liar

    Penelitian ini mengkaji kaitan antara learned helplessness dan persepsi terhadap tindakan premanisme yang dilakukan oleh tukang parkir liar di Kota Surabaya. Tindakan premanisme oleh tukang parkir liar sering menimbulkan ketidakpastian dan ketidaknyamanan bagi pengendara, yang merasa terpaksa membayar pungutan ilegal untuk menghindari konflik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan 150 responden yang dipilih secara acak, dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur tingkat learned helplessness serta persepsi terhadap tindakan premanisme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara learned helplessness dan persepsi negatif terhadap tindakan premanisme, di mana semakin tinggi tingkat learned helplessness, semakin buruk persepsi responden terhadap tindakan tersebut. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya memahami faktor psikologis dalam fenomena sosial seperti premanisme dan perlunya kerjasama antara pemerintah dan masyarakat untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman dan nyaman

    Analysis of the Impact of Accountability, Transparency, and Service Quality on Customer Trust Level (A Survey on Bank Syariah Indonesia in Palembang City)

    The purpose of this study is to examine how customer trust in Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Palembang City is influenced by accountability, transparency, and service quality. The rapid expansion of Islamic banking in Indonesia, particularly after the merger of three Islamic banks into Bank Syariah Indonesia, and the importance of accountability, transparency, and service quality in fostering customer trust serve as the foundation of this research. To collect data, this study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method, in which questionnaires were distributed to 100 customers of BSI Palembang City. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that, both partially and simultaneously, accountability, transparency, and service quality have a positive and significant impact on the level of customer trust. The findings suggest that customer trust in BSI increases along with higher levels of accountability and transparency in financial management, as well as the quality of services provided. To maintain and further enhance customer trust, BSI’s management may consider these findings in developing strategies to improve service quality and transparency

    Strategic management in government is a systematic process of formulating, implementing, and evaluating key decisions taken by the government to achieve its strategic objectives. These objectives may include improving people's welfare, developing infrastructure, reforming the bureaucracy, or achieving other long-term visions. This research uses a qualitative approach using descriptive methods to obtain an in-depth understanding of the Strategic Management of the Berau Regency Government in responding to the impact of the issuance of Mineral and Coal, the Undang-Undang No. 3 Tahun 2020 on community welfare from 2020 to 2022 in the form of public policy. The sources of information in this research are Berau Regency DPMPTSP employees and Berau Regency DPRD members. Information collection was conducted through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Strategic Management carried out by the Berau district government through the Berau DPMPTSP office and the Berau district DPRD has not run optimally. This is because the DPMTSP Office as the executive in the government and the DPRD of Berau Regency as the legislative body of the government in Berau Regency are not given enough space and authority in the management of natural resources in the region, especially in terms of mining, this is caused by regulations from the central government that limit the authority and involvement of local governments in the management of mining and mineral natural resources in Berau Regency

    To discuss and analyze the financial management of the local government of Bogor Regency using the concept of public accountability and public choice theory is the purpose of this paper. Furthermore, this writing is to see how the local government of Bogor Regency can be accountable in the process of managing its regional finances which is expected to be more efficient and effective so that the administration of government can be carried out properly (good governance). Qualitative descriptive research methods are used in this study, by applying Mueller's theory of public choice and Ellwood's concept of public accountability which includes; legal accountability and honesty, managerial accountability, program accountability, policy accountability and financial accountability. The results of the study show that the Bogor Regency Regional Government has mostly implemented legal accountability and honesty, managerial, programmatic, policy and financial systems. Financial management is carried out by adhering to the provisions of applicable regulations and prioritizing the principles of transparency and integrity through various mechanisms such as training, job rotation, online application on the website and periodic financial reporting. However, there are still a number of obstacles, especially related to the limitations of human resources (HR) and budgets, policy changes and obstacles, which affect the implementation of policies and optimal financial management

    UNVEILING THE LEVEL OF DIGITAL POVERTY: A PHENOMENOLOGICAL STUDY ON DIGITAL POVERTY AMONG YOUTH IN DENPASAR CITY

    The advancement of technology today should be accessible to everyone and all segments of society, especially those in their teenage years and productive age. This research explores and seeks to understand how urban adolescents from low-income families perceive and experience digital poverty. Using a qualitative approach, in-depth interviews were conducted with adolescents from low-income families who are scholarship recipients. The main goal of this research is to uncover their perspectives on access to digital devices, availability of internet connections, and how they utilize the technology. The findings from the interviews indicate that most informants have limited access to technology, with some only owning mobile phones without laptops or computers, and they often rely on mobile data or public or neighbors' Wi-Fi networks. Nevertheless, some informants did not feel significantly left behind in terms of technological access, although they were aware of the disparity when comparing themselves to more affluent peers. The study also found that the use of digital technology among low-income adolescents is primarily focused on educational purposes, despite the limitations of the technological resources available to them. Given these constraints, this research suggests the importance of increasing equitable digital access and developing digital skills training programs that can help adolescents from low-income families avoid falling further behind in the rapidly advancing digital era

    UTILIZATION OF ONLINE QUEUE SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY TO IMPROVE PUBLIC SERVICE MANAGEMENT EFFICIENCY AT CLASS I IMMIGRATION OFFICE TPI SURABAYA

    This research focuses on the utilization of Online Queue Systems to enhance the efficiency of public service management at the Immigration Office Class I TPI Surabaya. The implementation of this system is expected to address various issues related to conventional queues, such as long waiting times and customer discomfort. However, there are several aspects that still need to be examined, considering that the success of a public service system highly depends on effective queue management, procedure quality, and the readiness of personnel and supporting policies. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of the Online Queue System on service quality and efficiency, identify existing challenges, and provide recommendations for system optimization. The research method used in this study is qualitative, with data collection conducted through direct observation, interviews, and document analysis related to the queue system at the immigration office. The findings show that the implementation of the Online Queue System has improved the efficiency and quality of public services, with public satisfaction reaching around 70%. Nonetheless, there is a need for further improvement in several aspects, such as queue management, information transparency, and waiting time. Additionally, technical readiness and supporting policies remain critical concerns, as there is still room to enhance personnel capacity and optimize policies to make the system more effective. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that while the Online Queue System has had a positive impact, several aspects still require attention and improvement to achieve higher efficiency. This research recommends several strategic steps, including increasing system capacity to handle surges in applicants, developing policies to support system operations, providing technical training for personnel, and conducting wider outreach to the public

    Does Agribusiness Mudharabah Financing Enhance Community Welfare? Initiatives to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals

    The primary issue is the disparity in access to agribusiness financing, particularly regarding sharia finance models like mudharabah, which may impede the empowerment of farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs. While mudharabah financing may enhance welfare, issues persist regarding public comprehension of the sharia financing process and the viability of the financed enterprise. An further concern is the reliance on the profit-sharing system, which requires effective management, alongside market uncertainties and natural catastrophes that often jeopardize the security of farmers' income. This research aims to examine the correlation between agricultural mudharabah funding and community welfare in Lampung Province in the context of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This quantitative investigation used SmartPLS 4.0 statistical software. Primary data were obtained by using a purposive sampling method to pick a sample of respondents. This research used a total of 250 samples. The Likert scale was employed to assess the indications, and data were gathered utilizing Google Forms. The study results indicate that agricultural mudharabah finance significantly influences community wellbeing, particularly for farmers and agribusiness stakeholders. Agribusiness mudharabah finance significantly contributes to the attainment of many Sustainable Development Goals, including poverty alleviation, food security, mitigation of social inequalities, and gender equity

    Bibliometric Analysis of Digital Marketing: Collaboration, Themes, and Opportunities

    This research examines the development of digital marketing scholarship through a bibliometric approach to identify collaboration patterns, dominant themes, and potential research opportunities. Data were collected from Google Scholar using Harzing’s Publish or Perish and analyzed with VOSviewer to map the evolution of digital marketing studies in recent years. The findings show that discussions in this field increasingly revolve around digital transformation, social media strategies, and their contribution to supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (SMEs). Patterns of collaboration across authors and institutions demonstrate growing interdisciplinary engagement in digital marketing research. The analysis reveals four major thematic clusters: digital marketing strategies, SME empowerment, technological adaptation, and research development. These clusters highlight the role of technology and innovation in shaping new marketing models that enhance business–consumer interactions. The study also indicates several directions for future research, including digital consumer behavior, influencer involvement, and data-driven marketing decision-making. Overall, this bibliometric review offers a comprehensive overview of how digital marketing research continues to evolve and contribute to business growth, collaborative knowledge creation, and innovation in the digital era.
