    This research aims to analyze the innovation management strategies used by economic education teachers at MA Al-ANWAR Jombang in managing classes and improving the quality of education. Economics education is an important subject that requires an innovative approach in teaching in order to attract and motivate students in learning. In the context of education in the digital era, teacher innovation is the main key to achieving this goal. This research uses a qualitative approach with the case study method. The research data were obtained through class observations, interviews with economics education teachers, and analysis of documents related to the innovation strategies used. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and interpretive techniques to identify the innovation strategies used by teachers and their impact on the quality of education. The results showed that economics education teachers at MA Al-ANWAR Jombang used several innovation management strategies that were effective in managing classes and improving the quality of education. . These strategies include the use of educational technology, the use of varied and interactive teaching methods, collaborative learning between teachers and students, and the application of formative assessment

    Isu pemberitaan "Sekolah Internasional Mendukung LGBT" yang disiarkan oleh tvOne telah memicu respon beragam dari masyarakat Tangerang. Pemahaman atas respon khalayak menjadi kunci dalam mengidentifikasi cara yang tepat untuk menangani potensi konflik sosial sebagai dampak dari pemberitaan tersebut. Respon masyarakat Tangerang yang meliputi penolakan, stigma negatif, dan kekhawatiran terhadap isu LGBT berpotensi menimbulkan konflik sosial jika tidak ditangani dengan strategi yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi yang tepat dalam mencegah terjadinya konflik sosial di lingkungan masyarakat Tangerang sebagai dampak dari pemberitaan terkait isu "Sekolah Internasional Mendukung LGBT" yang disiarkan oleh tvOne. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam terhadap masyarakat Tangerang dan perwakilan pemerintah daerah. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan faktor-faktor utama pemicu potensi konflik, seperti nilai-nilai agama dan budaya yang kuat serta minimnya toleransi masyarakat terhadap isu LGBT. Strategi pencegahan konflik yang ditemukan meliputi: (1) pendekatan dialogis dan inklusif, (2) pelibatan tokoh masyarakat, (3) penghargaan terhadap nilai-nilai lokal, (4) kebutuhan akan kerangka hukum (5) pembentukan badan khusus untuk menangani isu LGBT. Analisis lebih lanjut menggunakan teori konflik sosial Lewis A. Coser memberikan pemahaman mendalam bahwa pendekatan dialogis dan inklusif serta pelibatan tokoh masyarakat menjadi strategi utama karena keduanya berfungsi sebagai katup pengaman (safety valve) dan pemelihara identitas kolektif (maintenance of the collective identity) dalam mencegah konflik sosial

    An Examination of Syntactic Code-Mixing Patterns in Speech of Male And Female

    This study investigated code-mixing patterns among English for Specific Purposes (ESP) students. The research analyzed the frequency and types of code-mixing employed by 47 students, divided into male and female groups. Data was collected through audio recordings of students' presentations and subsequently categorized based on lexical units and code-mixing types (insertion, alternation, and congruent lexicalization). Findings revealed significant gender differences in code-mixing patterns, with females exhibiting higher frequencies of alternation and males predominantly using insertion. The study contributes to the understanding of code-mixing among students and highlights the need for further research to explore the underlying factors influencing these patterns.Keywords: syntactic, code switching, pattern, speec

    Banyaknya penjual jajanan di sekitar sekolah membuat anak sering membeli jajan. Anak sekolah lebih menyukai jajan karena jajanannya yang murah, menarik, dan rasanya yang gurih. Anak usia sekolah suka membeli jajanan tanpa memperhatikan kebersihan tempat dan alat-alat yang digunakan untuk mengolah jajan serta kandungan jajanan yang dimakan. Kebiasaan anak jajan sembarangan dan tidak sehat dapat menyebabkan terjadinya diare. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan kebiasaan anak jajan dengan terjadinya diare pada anak usia sekolah di SD Inpres 1 Talise. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analitik korelasi menggunakan desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelas IV dan V di SD Inpres 1 Talise yang berjumlah 82 orang. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel stratified proportional random sampling. Hasil penelitian dari 63 responden menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara kebiasaan anak jajan dengan terjadinya diare pada anak usia sekolah di SD Inpres 1 Talise dengan hasil uji Chi-Square diperoleh p-value = 0,000. Terdapat ada hubungan kebiasaan anak jajan dengan terjadinya diare pada anak usia sekolah di SD Inpres 1 Talise. Bagi SD Inpres 1 Talise perlu diberikan penyuluhan kepada siswa tentang gejala, penyebab dan tanda-tanda penyakit diare, agar anak dapat merubah pola kebiasaan jajan yang tidak sehat

    Latar Belakang : Pengetahuan dan pelatihan tentang EWS dapat meningkatkan self confidence perawat dalam menerapkan EWS, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisi apakah ada hubungan pengetahuan dan pelatihan dengan self confidence perawat dalam menerapkan early warning score di ruang rawat Inap RSUD Anuntaloko Kabupaten Parigi Moutong Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Metode : Jenis penelitian kuantitatif, berdesain survei analitik, menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian yaitu perawat di ruang rawat Inap RSUD Anuntaloko sejumlah 60 orang terdiri dari ruangan cemara, eboni, agastis, dan akasia. Sampel berjumlah 49 responden dengan pengambilan cluster sampling. Hasil Penelitian : Dari 49 responden, sebagian besar pengetahuan perawat cukup sebanyak 20 responden (40,8%) dan sebagian kecil kurang sebanyak 12 responden (24,5%). Sebagian besar responden pernah mengikuti pelatihan tentang EWS sebanyak 33 responden (67,3%). Sebagian besar responden memiliki self confidence tinggi sebanyak 28 responden (57,1%). Hasil analisis uji chi-square, terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dengan self confidence perawat dalam menerapkan EWS Di Ruang Rawat Inap Rsud Anuntaloko Kabupaten Parigi Moutong Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah dengan p value 0.034 <0.05. Hasil analisis uji chi-square, terdapat hubungan pelatihan dengan self confidence perawat dalam menerapkan EWS Di Ruang Rawat Inap Rsud Anuntaloko Kabupaten Parigi Moutong Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah dengan p value 0.004 <0.05.Kesimpulan : Ada hubungan pengetahuan dan  pelatihan dengan self confidence perawat dalam menerapkanearly warning score Di Ruang Rawat Inap Rsud Anuntaloko Kabupaten Parigi Moutong Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah.Saran : Bagi UPTD rumah sakit agar memfasilitasi seluruh perawat mengikuti pelatihan tentang EWS

    Profile analysis of digital literacy skills of biology education students

    Today's world of higher education emphasizes the importance of digital literacy skills that cannot be underestimated. This study aims to investigate the state of digital literacy among students enrolled in the Biology Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Malang, focusing on their proficiency in utilizing digital tools and resources, critically evaluating information, and responsibly navigating online domains. The study was a quantitative approach. Questionnaires with a Likert scale consist of 36 statements designed. Data were collected in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year from a total of 147 students. The research instrument adapted from validated sources assessed six key indicators of digital literacy (finding, using multiple sources, selecting, evaluating, considering sources effects, and using original work). These quantitative data were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that although most students obtained a moderate level of digital literacy (61.54%), there was a certain number of students with low (1.92%) and very low (0.96%) levels of digital literacy. These results suggest that more attention is needed to digital literacy development in biology education at all levels. These findings emphasized the importance of further and holistic empowerment of digital literacy skills among biology education students, particularly in evaluating and considering the source/effect of messages. Improvements in these areas and studies are critical to preparing students for academic and professional success and fostering their engagement with society in an increasingly digitalized world. Future research efforts should focus on implementing targeted interventions to improve digital literacy in programs and comparing the level of digital literacy across different biology education courses in different institutions. This study contributes to the ongoing discourse on digital literacy in higher education and underscores the need for adaptation and continuous improvement in educational strategies to meet the evolving demands of the digital age

The independent curriculum which is currently the trigger demands that teachers must be able to facilitate students in the form of students' character, talents and interests. However, there are several factors that make the talent for playing table tennis among Class VII and IX students at Muqorrobin Islamic Middle School very low, including a lack of knowledge and training to play table tennis properly and correctly. This became the basis for the author to carry out table tennis training for 2 months with good results, namely the students were very happy with this training, those who initially didn't like table tennis became like it and their ability to play table tennis became even better

    Teaching English to Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

    Students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) typically show a unique pattern in their language learning. This fact has been documented in a number of earlier investigations. However, it was discovered that Indonesian teachers and educational institutions were insufficiently prepared to fulfill the needs of their students, both in terms of teaching strategies and the material development. This study then aimed at examining appropriate strategies of teaching English to ASD students as well as finding out the challenges faced by teacher in teaching English in the classroom. The research design of this study was case study research with qualitative approach. The participant of this study was English teacher at SLBN 01 Lombok Timur chosen using purposive sampling. The researchers used documentation, in-depth interviews, and observation to acquire data. The results revealed that the teacher faced some challenges in teaching ASD students, such as lack of focus and concentration during teaching and learning process and speech delay. To address these issues, the teacher and school principle used some strategies to teach children with autism, namely developing oral language comprehension and developing lesson plan with visual media to help the student learn English as a foreign languag

    This research was carried out to investigate a relationship between self-directedness, self-involvement, expressive language, self-assessment, language varieties, metacognitive skills, editing and problem solving, text processing, knowledge rehearsal, idea planning, goal oriented monitoring and evaluating, peer learning, feedback handling, interest enhancement, motivational self-talk, and emotional control and  the main and forming factors of self-directedness, self-involvement, expressive language, self-assessment, language varieties, metacognitive skills, editing and problem solving, text processing, knowledge rehearsal, idea planning, goal oriented monitoring and evaluating, peer learning, feedback handling, interest enhancing, motivational self-talk, and emotional control of self directed learning. A convenience sample approach was used to recruit English majors from a range of State University of Yogyakarta. All participants were recruited intentionally, and that they were informed that they might leave the study at any moment either during collecting data. The participant criteria include second-year English major students from various State Universities of Yogyakarta. As the result of pearson correlation in this research, it was found that there was a substantial relationship between the variables examined in this research. Moreover, as the result of factor analysis in this research was found that from the 11 variables included in the research namely self involvement, expressive language, self assessment, language varieties, metacognitive skills, editing and problem solving, Cognition, Metacognition, Social Behavior, and Motivational Regulation, they can be grouped into two main factors.  The implications of these findings lie in a deeper understanding of the underlying conceptual structure of self-directed learning in a university context. With the identification of the key factors emerging from these variables, a more focused approach can be developed to enhance students' self-directed learning. This can also aid in the development of more precise and measurable assessment instruments to gauge progress in crucial aspects of self-directed learning. Thus, the implications of these findings can enrich teaching and learning practices in higher education settings
