Development of a test fixture and automated system for functional verification of printed circuit boards
Get PDFV zaključnem delu je bil predstavljen razvoj in izdelava testnega vpenjala za avtomatizirano testiranje elektronskih vezij. Opisan je bil celoten postopek načrtovanja mehanskih in elektronskih komponent, izdelava vmesnega tiskanega vezja ter uporaba programskih orodij, kot sta SolidWorks in Altium Designer. Kot rezultat je bil izdelan funkcionalen izdelek, ki omogoča zanesljivo, hitro in ponovljivo testiranje. Na koncu so bila podana priporočila za nadaljnjo optimizacijo mehanizma.The thesis presents the development and construction of a test fixture for automated testing of electronic circuits. The entire process of designing mechanical and electronic components, creating the interface PCB, and using software tools such as SolidWorks and Altium Designer is described. As a result, a functional product was created, enabling reliable, fast, and repeatable testing. Finally, recommendations for further optimization of the mechanism were provided

Get PDFDiplomsko delo obravnava področje luksuznega turizma s poudarkom na turističnih nastanitvah višjega cenovnega razreda na Hrvaškem. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili značilnosti luksuznega turizma, analizirali trende v vedenju turistov z višjo kupno močjo ter preučili ključne dejavnike uspeha v tem segmentu, kot so visoka raven storitev, personalizacija in arhitekturna diferenciacija. Predstavili smo tudi pomen celostne uporabniške izkušnje, digitalne prisotnosti in vloge kakovostnih podpornih storitev, ki skupaj oblikujejo konkurenčne prednosti luksuznih nastanitev.
V empiričnem delu smo skozi študijo primera podjetja Adria accommodations d. o. o. analizirali obstoječi poslovni model, tržne značilnosti in možnosti za širitev z novo lastniško enoto – luksuzno vilo v Debeljaku pri Sukošanu. Ugotovili smo, da podjetje že uspešno deluje v segmentu luksuznega turizma ter razpolaga z ustreznimi kapacitetami, tržnim znanjem in izkušnjami za nadaljnjo rast. Na podlagi analiz povpraševanja, tržnega okolja in prihodkovnega potenciala smo oblikovali smernice za nadaljnji razvoj podjetja in pripravili predlog širitvene strategije.This thesis explores the field of luxury tourism, with a particular focus on high-end tourist accommodations in Croatia. The theoretical part defines the characteristics of luxury tourism, analyzes trends in the behavior of high-income travelers, and examines key success factors in this segment, such as high-quality service, personalization, and architectural differentiation. It also highlights the importance of a comprehensive user experience, digital presence, and quality support services, all of which contribute to the competitive advantage of luxury accommodations.
The empirical part presents a case study of the company Adria accommodations d.o.o., analyzing its existing business model, market characteristics, and potential for expansion through the development of a new privately-owned luxury villa in Debeljak near Sukošan. The findings show that the company is already successfully operating within the luxury tourism segment and possesses the necessary capabilities, market knowledge, and experience to support further growth. Based on the analysis of demand, market conditions, and revenue potential, the thesis provides strategic guidelines for the company’s development and proposes a targeted expansion strategy
Development of an IoT solution for intelligent monitoring of heating with wood briquettes
Get PDFV diplomskem delu smo raziskali možnost vzpostavitve celovitega in zanesljivega sistema za zaznavanje nivoja briketov v zalogovniku ter spremljanje temperature peči. Za izvedbo rešitve smo uporabili platformo Raspberry Pi, senzor za merjenje razdalje, temperaturni senzor za višje temperature ter kombinirani temperaturno-vlažnostni senzor. Poleg tega smo razvili tudi mobilno aplikacijo, pri čemer komunikacija med napravami poteka prek protokola MQTT. Vse komponente smo naročili prek spleta in jih po navodilih priključili na platformo RPi. Končni rezultat je sistem, ki uporabniku omogoča zanesljivo spremljanje nivoja goriva in temperaturnega stanja. Z merjenjem zakasnitev ter analizo podatkov smo preverili, ali je tak sistem primeren za našo rešitev.In this thesis, we explored the feasibility of developing a comprehensive and reliable system for detecting the pellet level in a storage tank and monitoring furnace and room temperature. We implemented the solution using a Raspberry Pi platform, a distance sensor, a temperature sensor fitted for higher temperatures and a temperature sensor combined with a humidity sensor. To monitor data we created a mobile application. Communication between devices was established using the MQTT protocol. All components were purchased online and connected according to documentation. By measuring delays and analyzing the data, we determine whether such a system is suitable for our solution

Get PDFDiplomsko delo obravnava vpliv zelenega prehoda na procese prodaje HVAC sistemov v podjetju Atermika d.o.o. V teoretičnem delu je podrobno predstavljen pojem zelenega prehoda, njegov pomen za trajnostni razvoj ter priložnosti in izzivi, ki jih prinaša za gospodarstvo. Analizirani so trendi na področju ogrevanja, prezračevanja in klimatizacije, zlasti vloga toplotnih črpalk, prezračevalnih sistemov in energetske učinkovitosti v gospodinjstvih. Poudarjene so prednosti, kot so zmanjšanje emisij in večja energetska neodvisnost, pa tudi slabosti, kot so visoki začetni stroški ter pomanjkanje znanja in kadrov.
V empiričnem delu je predstavljeno družinsko podjetje Atermika d.o.o., ki deluje predvsem regionalno. Osredotoča se na prodajo in implementacijo HVAC sistemov ter iskanje rešitev za okoljsko ozaveščene kupce. Poseben poudarek je na prilagajanju tržnim trendom, izzivih prodajnega procesa in potrošniškem vedenju pri nakupu naprav za ogrevanje in hlajenje. Intervju z direktorjem podjetja razkriva pogled na prihodnost industrije, pomen trajnostnega razvoja in konkretne korake, ki jih podjetje izvaja v skladu z načeli zelenega prehoda.
Delo zaključuje, da zeleni prehod prinaša številne priložnosti za rast in inovacije, vendar zahteva strateško prilagajanje podjetij, večjo dostopnost sodobnih tehnologij ter ustrezno izobraževanje potrošnikov in strokovnih kadrov.The thesis examines the impact of the green transition on sales processes of HVAC systems in the company Atermika d.o.o. The theoretical part provides a detailed explanation of the concept of the green transition, its importance for sustainable development, as well as the opportunities and challenges it brings to the economy. Trends in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning are analyzed, with particular focus on the role of heat pumps, ventilation systems, and energy efficiency in households. The advantages, such as emission reduction and greater energy independence, are emphasized, along with weaknesses such as high initial costs and lack of knowledge and skilled personnel.
The empirical part presents the family-owned company Atermika d.o.o., which operates primarily on a regional level. It focuses on the sales and implementation of HVAC systems and on providing solutions for environmentally conscious customers. Special attention is given to adapting to market trends, challenges in the sales process, and consumer behavior when purchasing heating and cooling devices. An interview with the company’s director reveals insights into the future of the industry, the importance of sustainable development, and concrete steps the company is taking in line with the principles of the green transition.
The thesis concludes that the green transition offers numerous opportunities for growth and innovation, but requires strategic adaptation of companies, greater accessibility of modern technologies, and proper education of consumers and professional staff

V teoretičnem delu smo preučili barvo, kjer je poudarek na fiziološkem zaznavanju barve, psihološki vpliv barv in simbolični pomen barv, nato smo preučili embalažo s poudarkom na funkciji embalaže in razvrščanju embalaže ter zaznavanju, kjer pa je poudarek na procesu zaznavanja in vplivnih dejavnikih na zaznavanje.
Barva ima velik pomen in vpliv na človeško življenje. Prisotna je v kulturi, umetnosti in jo zaznavamo na veliko načinov. Vpliva na človekovo razpoloženje na pozitiven ali negativen način. Z barvo se srečujemo celo življenje. Barva ni samo v okolju, temveč je tudi v embalaži, ki jo uporabljamo. Embalaža se pojavi v vseh možnih oblikah in materialihzaznavamo pa jo na različne načine. Vsak človek zaznava stvari na drugačen načintudi embalaža in barva morata sprožiti zanimanje porabnika, da kupi in uporablja določen izdelek. Zaznavanje pa ni samo na podlagi videza, temveč tudi vonja in raznih človekovih čutil.
Sklep diplomskega dela zajema ugotovitve eksperimenta na podlagi izračunane statistike za vsako spremenljivko posebej. S pomočjo enosmerne Anove in t-testa v programu IBM SPSS Statistics bodo podatki v raziskavi natančno in enostavno opredeljeni.The thesis deals with the analysis of an experiment entitled The influence of packaging color on the perception of the taste of and energy drink. In the theoretical part, we examined color, focusing on the physiological perception of color, the psychological impact of color, and the symbolic meaning of colors. Then, we examined packaging, focusing on the function of packaging and packaging classification, and perception, focusing on the process of perception and factors infuencing perception.
Color has a great importance and influence on human life. It is present in culture, art and we perceive it in many ways. It affects a person\u27s mood in a positive or negative way. We encounter color throughout our lives. Color in not only in the environment, but also in the packaging we use. Packaging appears in all possible forms and materialsand we perceive it in different ways. Each person perceives things in a different waypackaging and color must also arouse the consumer\u27s interest in buying and using a certain product. Perception is not only based on appearance, but also in terms of smell and the various senses that a person has.
The conclusion of the thesis covers the findings of the experiment based on the calculated statistics for each variable separately. Using one-way Anova and t-test in IBM SPSS Statistics, the data in the research will be accurately and easily defined
Regulation and visualization of temperature processes using plc units
Get PDFV nalogi je razvit temperaturni regulacijski sistem, ki temelji na programabilnem logičnem krmilniku Siemens S7-1214C s PID regulacijo in vizualizacijo preko HMI vmesnika. Sistem omogoča natančno in stabilno uravnavanje temperature, hitro odzivanje na spremembe ter uporabniku prijazno upravljanje. Razvita je bila simulacija v okolju MATLAB/Simulink, izvedena implementacija na fizičnem modelu ter optimizacija parametrov regulatorja. Vizualizacija omogoča nadzor ključnih procesnih podatkov in prilagajanje nastavitev v realnem času. Rezultat je stabilen, odziven in zanesljiv sistem, primeren za uporabo v demonstracijske namene.In this thesis we developed a temperature control system based on a Siemens S7-1214C programmable logic controller with PID control and visualization via an HMI interface. The system enables precise and stable temperature control, fast response to changes and user-friendly management. A simulation was developed in the MATLAB/Simulink environment, implementation on a physical model and optimization of controller parameters were performed. Visualization enables monitoring of key process data and adjustment of settings in real time. The result is a stable, responsive and reliable system, suitable for use for demonstration purposes
Awareness, beliefs, and use of non-nutritive sweeteners among university students
Get PDFNehranljiva sladila, imenovana tudi nizkokalorična sladila (NNS) ali umetna sladila, so priljubljeni nadomestki sladkorja, ki zagotavljajo močan sladek učinek brez dodajanja sladkorja in energije prehrani. Cilj mednarodne raziskave je bil oceniti ozaveščenost, dojemanje, skrbi in uporabo nehranljivih sladil med študenti z enotno metodologijo v različnih državah v Evropi, Aziji in Ameriki. Vprašalnik je nastal kot odgovor na vse večjo potrebo po razumevanju, kako mladi zaznavajo in uporabljajo NNS, ob upoštevanju znanstvenih razprav, različnih zdravstvenih priporočil in vpliva dezinformacij na družbenih omrežjih. Spletno anketo smo posredovali študentom različnih fakultet na Univerzi v Mariboru, izpolnilo pa jo je 245 študentov, starih več kot 18 let. V raziskavi smo preverjali poznavanje priporočil WHO, razumevanje pojmov, dojemanje koristi in tveganj NNS ter vpliv virov informacij na znanje. Z rezultati smo ugotovili, da je poznavanje NNS razmeroma dobro. Mnenja o njihovih učinkih na zdravje in telesno težo so precej razdeljena, z veliko negotovosti glede dolgoročnih posledic. Kar 46,7 % študentov ne pozna aktualnih priporočil WHO o uporabi teh sladil. Ugotovili smo, da 23,6 % anketiranih redno uživa nehranljiva sladila, najpogosteje v gaziranih pijačah, žvečilnih gumijih in sladicah.Non-nutritive sweeteners, also referred to as low-calorie sweeteners (NNS) or artificial sweeteners, are popular sugar substitutes that provide a strong sweetening effect without adding sugar and energy to the diet. The aim of the international study was to evaluate the awareness, perception, concerns, and use of non-nutritive sweeteners among students, using a uniform methodology in different countries across Europe, Asia, and America. The questionnaire was developed in response to the growing need to understand how young people perceive and use NNS, taking into account scientific debates, various health recommendations, and the influence of misinformation on social media. An online survey was distributed to students of various faculties at the University of Maribor, and it was completed by 245 students over the age of 18. The study examined knowledge of WHO recommendations, understanding of concepts, perception of benefits and risks of NNS, as well as the impact of information sources on knowledge. The results showed that knowledge about NNS is relatively good. Opinions regarding their effects on health and body weight are rather divided, with considerable uncertainty about long-term consequences. As many as 46.7% of students are not familiar with the current WHO recommendations on the use of these sweeteners.We found that 23.6% of respondents regularly consume non-nutritive sweeteners, most commonly in carbonated beverages, chewing gum, and desserts
The effects of business process optimisation in the selected company
Get PDFDanašnje hitro spreminjajoče se poslovno okolje postavlja podjetja pred različne izzive. Soočajo se z naraščajočo konkurenco, digitalnimi preobrazbami in nenehno spreminjajočimi pričakovanji kupcev. Za dolgoročno uspešnost so poslovni procesi ključni element delovanja podjetij. Njihova optimizacija je nujen pristop, ki presega zgolj tehnične izboljšave ter podjetjem zagotavlja večjo preglednost, učinkovitost in konkurenčno prednost na trgu. Magistrsko delo obravnava problematiko optimizacije poslovnih procesov v trgovski dejavnosti, kjer dinamične tržne razmere, digitalizacija in visoka konkurenca zahtevajo stalno izboljševanje organizacijskih pristopov. Poslovni procesi predstavljajo temelj delovanja vsakega podjetja.
Magistrsko delo je sestavljeno iz dveh delov. V teoretičnem delu naloga podrobno predstavlja pomen poslovnih procesov, vrste poslovnih procesov in njihov management. V nadaljevanju so predstavljeni različni pristopi k njihovi prenovi in optimizaciji ter prednosti in izzivi, ki se pri tem lahko pojavijo. Empirični del temelji na izvedbi ankete med zaposlenimi ter na intervjuju z vodstvom izbranega podjetja. Naloga ugotavlja pozitivni vpliv optimizacije poslovnih procesov na vseh področjih poslovanja podjetja in ponuja možnosti za nadaljnje raziskave. V raziskavi so pridobljeni konkretni dokazi o učinkih optimizacije poslovnih procesov v izbranem podjetju. Produktivnost se je pri vseh anketirancih povečala, podobno pa so rezultati pokazali, da zaposleni lažje dosegajo dnevne cilje, kar potrjuje večjo učinkovitost in organizacijo. Optimizacija ne prispeva zgolj k tehnični in stroškovni učinkovitosti, temveč tudi k boljšemu počutju in večji motivaciji zaposlenih, ki se odražajo v višji motivaciji, večji osredotočenosti in zmanjšanem stresu zaposlenih.Today\u27s rapidly changing business environment presents companies with a variety of challenges. They face increasing competition, digital transformations, and constantly changing customer expectations. Business processes are a key element of a company\u27s operations for long-term success. Their optimization is a necessary approach that goes beyond mere technical improvements and provides companies with greater transparency, efficiency, and competitive advantage in the market. This master\u27s thesis addresses the issue of business process optimization in the retail sector, where dynamic market conditions, digitalization, and high competition require continuous improvement of organizational approaches. Business processes are the foundation of every company\u27s operations.
The master\u27s thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part of the thesis presents in detail the importance of business processes, types of business processes, and their management. It goes on to present various approaches to their redesign and optimization, as well as the advantages and challenges that may arise in the process. The empirical part is based on a survey of employees and an interview with the management of a selected company. The thesis concludes that the optimization of business processes has a positive impact on all areas of the company\u27s operations and offers opportunities for further research. The research provides concrete evidence of the effects of business process optimization in the selected company. Productivity increased among all respondents, and the results also showed that employees find it easier to achieve their daily goals, which confirms greater efficiency and organization. Optimization contributes not only to technical and cost efficiency, but also to improved well-being and greater motivation among employees, which is reflected in higher motivation, greater focus, and reduced stress among employees
Revitalisation of a degraded urban area and the integration of the Railway workers colony Studenci into the Maribor urban system
Get PDFNaloga se ukvarja z revitalizacijo urbanega degradiranega območja v neposredni bližini Železničarske delavske kolonije Studenci v Mariboru. Obravnavano območje ima zaradi številnih prostorskih ovir, ki so posledica neuravnotežene strukturne širitve mesta na desni breg reke Drave, težave pri razvoju in uspešnem povezovanju s širšim urbanim tkivom, kar se odraža v razdrobljenosti in pomanjkanju javnih in centralnih programov ter javnih odprtih in zelenih
površin. S postopnim zmanjševanjem prometno - industrijskih dejavnosti se ponujajo nove priložnosti za razvoj območja. V nalogi smo zasnovali urbanistični in arhitekturni proces urbane revitalizacije za degradirano območje v severozahodnem delu Železničarske kolonije, ki ob upoštevanju prostorskih danosti, lokalnega konteksta in z zasnovo novi h prometnih povezav ter programov vzpostavlja novo središče na območju Tabora. Zasnova urbane revitalizacije vzpostavlja prostor srečevanja in druženja za lokalne prebivalce, hkrati pa povezuje varovano historično območje s širšim urbanim sistemom mesta.This thesis addresses the revitalization of a degraded urban area located in close proximity to the Railway workers colony Studenci in Maribor. Due to numerous spatial obstacles resulting from the city’s unbalance structural expansion on the right bank of the Drava River, the area faces challenges in development and effective integration with the broader urban fabric. This is reflected in the fragmentation and the lack of central and public functions as well as public open and green spaces. With the gradual withdrawal of traffic and industrial activities from the area, new opportunities for development are emerging. The thesis seeks to propose an urban and architectural process of urban regeneration fora degraded area in the northeastern part of the Railway workers colony. Taking into account the spatial characteristics, local context and by designing new traffic connections and programs, the project aims
to establish a new center for the area of Tabor. The process of urban revitalisation creates a place for meeting and socializing for local residents, while also connecting the historical protected site with

Psychological and spiritual support for parents of a premature baby in the intensive care unit: scoping review
Get PDFBackground: Psychological and spiritual support is crucial, especially in challenging life situations, trials, and when facing the unimaginable distress experienced by parents of premature babies in the intensive care unit. This scoping review aims to identify the psychological and spiritual support needed by parents of premature babies in intensive care units. Methods: The databases PubMed, CINAHL Ultimate and Web of Science were searched in April 2025. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews guidelines were followed. The extraction table was used to extract significant information from each source of evidence. Descriptive data analysis was used to present results. Results: The search identified 1353 hits, and 17 sources of evidence were included in the review. The results indicate that psychological and spiritual support has been implemented in clinical practice. The main category Psychological and spiritual needs of parents of preterm babies in intensive care was designed using subcategories: psychological needs of parents of preterm babies in intensive care, and spiritual needs of parents of preterm babies in intensive care. Conclusions: In the context of continuous and holistic healthcare for preterm babies in intensive care units, psychological and spiritual support represent essential and interrelated components.
