Teachers\u27 competence for creative teaching and recognising creatively gifted pupils
Magistrsko delo obravnava kompetentnost učiteljev za ustvarjalno poučevanje ter prepoznavanje nadarjenih učencev. V teoretičnem delu so opredeljeni pojmi ustvarjalnosti, kreativnosti, inovativnosti in nadarjenosti, predstavljeni so tipi ustvarjalnosti, vpliv okolja ter ključne teorije in metode merjenja ustvarjalnosti. Poudarjen je pomen spodbujanja ustvarjalnosti v šolskem okolju in vloga učitelja pri prepoznavanju in razvoju nadarjenih posameznikov.
Empirični del temelji na kvalitativni raziskavi med učitelji z različnimi delovnimi mesti v šolstvu in z različno dolžino delovne dobe, s ciljem ugotoviti stopnjo njihove kompetentnosti za uporabo ustvarjalnih učnih metod ter prepoznavanje nadarjenih učencev. Analizirani so dejavniki, kot so strokovno izobraževanje, pogostost uporabe ustvarjalnih učnih metod, zaznane ovire in povezava med ustvarjalnostjo ter nadarjenostjo. Rezultati nudijo vpogled v trenutno stanje ter smernice za izboljšanje pedagoške prakse, ki spodbuja razvoj ustvarjalnih in nadarjenih učencev.The master\u27s thesis addresses teachers\u27 competence in creative teaching and the recognition of gifted pupils. The theoretical part defines the concepts of creativity, innovation, and giftedness, introduces types of creativity, the influence of the environment, and key theories and methods of measuring creativity. Particular emphasis is placed on the importance of encouraging creativity in the school environment and on the teacher\u27s role in identifying and developing gifted individuals.
The empirical part is based on a qualitative study conducted among teachers in different educational positions and with varying lengths of professional experience, with the aim of determining the level of their competence in applying creative teaching methods and in recognising gifted pupils. The analysis considers factors such as professional training, the frequency of using creative teaching methods, perceived obstacles, and the connection between creativity and giftedness. The results provide insight into the current situation and guidelines for improving pedagogical practice that fosters the development of creative and gifted pupils
The inclusion of various types of dance as an enrichment activity in the preschool setting
Tematika diplomskega dela je vključevanje različnih plesnih zvrsti v obogatitveno dejavnost v vrtcu in njihov vpliv na ustvarjalnost predšolskih otrok. Osrednji namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kako otroci sprejemajo različne plesne zvrsti in v kolikšni meri te spodbujajo njihovo plesno izražanje, motivacijo in domišljijo. V okviru praktičnega dela so bile izvedene načrtovane plesne dejavnosti, ki so vključevale sodobni ples, balet, ljudski ples in hiphop. Podatki so bili zbrani preko opazovanja in evalvacij izvedenih dejavnosti.
Rezultati kažejo, da so otroci dejavnosti z veseljem sprejeli, da so bile vse plesne zvrsti ustrezno prilagojene njihovi starosti in da so pomembno vplivale na razvoj njihove ustvarjalnosti in plesnega izraza. Otroci so v plesnem ustvarjanju z navdušenjem preizkušali nove gibalne možnosti, spontano prenašali značilnosti posameznih zvrsti v svojo improvizacijo ter z veseljem sodelovali pri skupinskem izražanju.
Ugotovitve potrjujejo, da vključevanje različnih plesnih zvrsti v vzgojno delo pomembno prispeva k celostnemu razvoju predšolskih otrok ter ponuja možnosti za nadgradnjo plesne vzgoje v vrtcu.The thesis explores the inclusion of various dance styles as an enrichment activity in preschool and their impact on children\u27s creativity. The primary aim of the research was to determine how children respond to different dance genres and to what extent these promote their dance expression, motivation, and imagination. The practical part consisted of a series of planned dance activities that included contemporary dance, ballet, folk dance, and hip-hop. Data were collected through observation and evaluations of the sessions.
The results show that the children welcomed the activities with enthusiasm, that all dance styles were appropriately adapted to their developmental level, and that they significantly supported the development of creativity and expressive movement. During the dance activity sessions, the children eagerly explored new movement possibilities, spontaneously incorporated elements of each dance style into their improvisations, and actively participated in group performances.
The findings confirm that the inclusion of various dance genres in educational practice significantly contributes to the holistic development of preschool children and provides opportunities to enhance of dance education in the preschool setting
Websites in tourism from the perspective of sensory marketing
Ker dobivajo izkušnje na področju turizma vedno večji pomen, se razvija mnogo pogledov, kako jih oblikovati, da bodo kakovostne. Izkušenj se ne oblikuje samo v resničnem svetu, temveč – zaradi tehnološkega razvoja – tudi vse bolj v spletnih okoljih. Tu lahko pripomore koncept senzornega marketinga, ki svetuje stimuliranje uporabnikovih petih čutil prek oglaševanja. Ta pristop je bil uporabljen v tem zaključnem delu, kjer smo z metodo indeks spletnega senzornega marketinga (OSMI), namenjeno analizi senzornosti spletnih strani, analizirali podstrani z vinskim doživetjem. Začeli smo z glavno spletno stranjo slovenskega turizma »I feel Slovenia«. Nato smo se osredotočili na regijo Posavje in analizirali glavno stran posavskega turizma »Posavje – Polno Priložnosti«. Nadalje smo analizirali šest spletnih strani, ki predstavljajo šest destinacij/občin regije Posavje: Visit Brežice, Visit Krško, Visit Sevnica, KTRC Radeče, Visit Kostanjevica ter Visit Podčetrtek. Rezultati analize podstrani omenjenih spletnih mest kažejo, da na straneh prevladuje nezadostna senzorna komunikacija, saj le strani I feel Slovenia, Visit Krško in KTRC Radeče zadostno prikazujejo senzorne vsebine. Strani večinsko najučinkoviteje vzbujajo okus, ki mu sledita dotik in vid, medtem ko sluh vzbujata dve strani, vonj pa le ena stran. Spletnim stranem smo predlagali večje naslavljanje sluha in vonja, predvsem pa uporabo senzornih besedil na straneh, ki bi lahko vzbujala čutila.Because experiences are gaining ever more importance in the field of tourism, many views are being developed on how to design them so that they are of high quality. Experiences are not only being developed in the real world but due to technological development increasingly in online environments. The concept of sensory marketing can help here, which advises stimulating users\u27 five senses through advertising. This approach was used in this Master\u27s thesis where we analyzed subpages with wine experiences using the Online Sensory Marketing Index (OSMI) method, which is designed for sensory website analysis. We began with the main website of Slovenian tourism I feel Slovenia. Then we focused on the Posavje region and analysed the main website of tourism in Posavje Posavje – Polno Priložnosti. Continuing, we analysed six websites which represent six destinations/municipalities of the Posavje region – Visit Brežice, Visit Krško, Visit Sevnica, KTRC Radeče, Visit Kostanjevica and Visit Podčetrtek. The results of the analysis of the mentioned websites subpages show that insufficient sensory communication prevails on the pages, as only pages I feel Slovenia, Visit Krško and KTRC Radeče sufficiently display sensory content. Taste is most effectively evoked, followed by touch and sight, while hearing is evoked by two sites and smell by only one site. We advised the web pages increased addressing of hearing and smell, and specially the usage of sensory texts that could evoke the senses
Cultural moderators of green product purchase intention
Despite their potential for promoting environmental sustainability, understanding consumer adoption of green products is limited since such behavior is complex, as it may differ from typical purchasing motives and cultural values. Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) was used in this study to address the main research problem of how PBC attitudes, subjective norms, environmental (un)concern, and environmental knowledge, influence consumers’ green product purchase intention. It also explores how cultural values moderate these relationships, specifically man-nature orientation and LTO. This study proposes a structural model with multigroup analysis to address the moderating impacts on a sample of 216 respondents participating in an online survey. Results show that attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and environmental knowledge positively influence consumers’ green product purchase intention. The group analysis results imply that the dominant group’s environmental concern negatively impacts purchase intention, while this relationship is not significant in the subordinate group. Also, the influence of subjective norms on purchase intention is significantly stronger in the dominant group. The long-term orientation also moderates the relationship between attitude toward green products and purchase intention. The insights from this research extend the literature in TPB and provide practical implications to marketing managers concerning developing marketing communication strategies, perceived value proposals, and the reputation of green products
Ocena harmonskega popačenja v šolskih stavbah s fotonapetostnimi sistemi
The integration of photovoltaic systems into power grids can impact power quality, particularly concerning voltage and current harmonics. This study investigates the power quality of a photovoltaic system integrated into the electrical system of an educational facility, focusing on harmonic distortion in both voltage and current. Comprehensive measurements were conducted across three phases and analysed according to the EN 50160 and IEEE 519 Standards. The results demonstrated that, while the voltage quality meets EN 50160 requirements consistently, indicating stable voltage levels, the current measurements revealed significant harmonic distortion. Notably, Phase 2 exhibited Total Harmonic Distortion values substantially above the acceptable limits, with Phase 1 and Phase 3 also showing elevated Total Harmonic Distortion. To address these issues, the study recommends the implementation of advanced harmonic filters and optimisation of inverter technologies. These measures are crucial for enhancing power quality, and ensuring compliance with the industry Standards in high photovoltaic penetration scenarios.Integracija fotonapetostnih sistemov v elektroenergetska omrežja lahko vpliva na kakovost električne energije, zlasti glede napetostnih in tokovnih harmonikov. Ta študija obravnava kakovost električne energije v šolski stavbi z integriranim fotonapetostnimsistemom, s poudarkom na harmonskem popačenju napetosti in toka. Izvedene so bile obsežne meritve v vseh treh fazah, analiza pa je potekala v skladu s standardoma EN 50160 in IEEE 519. Rezultati kažejo, da kakovost napetosti dosledno izpolnjuje zahteve standarda EN 50160, kar potrjuje stabilne napetostne ravni, medtem ko meritve toka razkrivajo izrazito harmonsko popačenje. Posebej izstopa faza 2, kjer vrednosti celotnega harmonskega popačenja bistveno presegajo dovoljene meje, povišane vrednosti pa se pojavljajo tudi v fazi 1 in fazi 3. Za obvladovanje teh težav študija priporoča uporabo naprednih harmonskih filtrov in optimizacijo pretvornikov. Ti ukrepi so ključni za izboljšanje kakovosti električne energije in zagotavljanje skladnosti s strokovnimi standardi v scenarijih z visokim deležem obnovljivih virov energije

This article explores the impact of digital technology on children’s development, focussing on the physical, cognitive, and emotional domains. The introduction emphasises the benefits of digital tools for education and language acquisition, but also points out the associated risks such as physical inactivity, sleep disturbances and mental health problems. A rigorous methodological approach ensures the inclusion of high-quality data, while subsequent sections explore key themes, including the interplay between screen time, physical activity, and diet. The conclusion emphasises interdisciplinary interventions, including the ZŽS project framework, which integrates technology, health, and environmental responsibility. This approach aims to promote healthier lifestyle choices.V članku proučujemo vplive digitalne tehnologije na otrokov razvoj, pri čemer se osredinjamo na telesne, kognitivne in čustvene vidike. V uvodu so poudarjene koristi digitalnih orodij za izobraževanje in učenje jezika, vendar so izpostavljena tudi povezana tveganja, kot so telesna nedejavnost, motnje spanja in težave z duševnim zdravjem. Dosleden metodološki pristop zagotavlja vključevanje kakovostnih podatkov, medtem ko podpoglavja obravnavajo ključne teme, vključno z medsebojnim vplivom časa pred zaslonom, telesne dejavnosti in prehrane. Zaključek poudarja interdisciplinarne ukrepe, vključno z okvirom projekta Zdrav življenjski slog za trajnostni razvoj in vseživljenjsko učenje (dalje ZŽS), ki združujejo tehnologijo, zdravje in varovanje okolja. Challenges in algorithmic implementation
Learning and implementing algorithms is a fundamental but challenging aspect of Computer Science education. One of the key tools used in teaching algorithms is pseudocode, which serves as an abstract representation of the logic behind a given algorithm. This study explores the educational value of the FLoCIC (Few Lines of Code for Image Compression) algorithm, which is designed to teach lossless image compression through algorithmic implementation, particularly within the context of multimedia data. Image compression represents a typical multimedia task that combines algorithmic thinking with practical problem-solving. By analysing questionnaire responses (N = 121) from undergraduate and graduate students, this study identifies critical challenges in pseudocode-based learning, including understanding complex algorithmic components and debugging recursive functions. This paper highlights the influence of prior knowledge in areas such as data structures, compression, and algorithms in general on the success of students in completing the task, with graduate students demonstrating stronger results compared to undergraduates. The study analyses the role of external resources and online code repositories, further revealing their utility in supporting implementation efforts but highlighting the need for a fundamental understanding of the algorithm for successful implementation. The findings highlight the importance of promoting conceptual understanding and practical problem-solving skills to improve student learning in algorithmic tasks
Herman: Climbing Centre and Revitalisation of Public Space in Celje
Magistrsko delo obravnava revitalizacijo degradiranega urbanega prostora na zahodnem robu starega mestnega jedra Celja in pomanjkanje ustrezne infrastrukture za balvansko plezanje v mestu. Trenutna raba lokacije kot makadamskega parkirišča predstavlja okoljski in estetski problem, saj prispeva k pregrevanju, dvigovanju prahu in ustvarja neizkoriščeno vrzel v mestnem tkivu.
Naloga predlaga celovito rešitev v obliki novega plezalnega centra Herman, ki bi se osredotočal na balvansko plezanje. S tem bi obogatil športno ponudbo mesta in nadgradil obstoječi Plezalni center Celje. Glavni cilj projekta je dvojen: ustvariti sodoben športni objekt za profesionalne plezalce in širšo javnost ter oživiti neizkoriščen prostor z urbanistično in arhitekturno privlačno zasnovo. S tem bi se izboljšala povezljivost in kakovost javnega prostora v mestu, kar bi prispevalo k bolj živahnemu in trajnostnemu urbanemu okolju.
Teoretični del podrobno raziskuje zgodovinski in urbanistični razvoj Celja, od antičnih začetkov do sodobnih projektov. Vključuje tudi poglobljeno analizo izbrane lokacije, ki zajema programske, prometne in zaznavne vidike. Posebna pozornost je namenjena preučevanju principov oživljanja mestnih prostorov, temelječih na teoriji "življenja med stavbami" Jana Gehla. Delo obravnava plezanje kot šport in pomemben socialni fenomen ter podaja pregled obstoječe plezalne infrastrukture v Celju in širši Sloveniji.The master\u27s thesis addresses the revitalisation of a degraded urban space on the western edge of Celje\u27s old town and the lack of adequate bouldering infrastructure in the city. The current use of the site as a gravel parking lot presents environmental and aesthetic problems, contributing to overheating, dust, and creating an underutilised gap in the urban fabric.
The thesis proposes a comprehensive solution: a new climbing centre named Herman, focusing on bouldering. This would enrich the city\u27s sports offerings and upgrade the existing Climbing Centre Celje. The project\u27s dual goal is to create a modern sports facility for professional climbers and the general public, and to revitalise the underutilised space with an urbanistically and architecturally attractive design. This would improve connectivity and the quality of public space in the city, fostering a more vibrant and sustainable urban environment.
The theoretical part thoroughly explores Celje\u27s historical and urban development, from ancient times to modern projects. It includes an in-depth analysis of the chosen location, covering programmatic, traffic, and perceptual aspects. Special attention is given to the principles of revitalising urban spaces based on Jan Gehl\u27s "life between buildings" theory. The work also discusses climbing as a sport and social phenomenon, and provides an overview of existing climbing infrastructure in Celje and wider Slovenia
Pravice otrok v trajnostnem in digitalnem okolju
The scientific monograph ‘Children\u27s Rights in the Sustainable and Digital Environments: Exploring Opportunities and Challenges’ addresses current and carefully selected topics in the field of children\u27s rights. It specifically focuses on issues where the authors critically analyze and discuss the protection of children\u27s rights in the context of sustainable development and digital transformation, as well as the challenges posed by both environments. The contributors engage in critical discourse and offer in-depth analyses of children\u27s rights from both substantive and procedural legal perspectives, examining developments at the national level as well as within the international legal framework. They clearly identify inconsistencies, shortcomings, and difficulties that children\u27s rights face in the context of sustainability and digitalization. In their contributions, the authors emphasize the importance of safeguarding children\u27s rights in judicial proceedings and highlight the role and responsibilities of both national and international actors in this field. They further discuss selected aspects of children\u27s vulnerability and violations of their rights, especially in relation to children affected by armed conflict, those living in crisis regions, and children with disabilities, web.Znanstvena monografija \u27Children\u27s Rights in the Sustainable and Digital Environments: Exploring Opportunities and Challenges\u27 se ukvarja z aktualnimi in skrbno izbranimi temami otroškega prava, konkretno s temami, kjer avtorji analizirajo in polemizirajo o varstvu otrokovih pravic v luči trajnostnega in digitalnega okolja ter izzivov, ki jih obe okolji prinašata. Avtorji kritično polemizirajo, analizirajo in podajajo analize otrokovih pravic tako na materialnopravnem kakor tudi procesnopravnem področju, tako v luči nacionalnih ureditev kakor tudi na mednarodni ravni. Jasno se opredeljujejo do nedoslednosti, pomanjkljivosti in težav, s katerimi se soočajo otrokove pravice v luči trajnostnega razvoja in digitalizacije. Robotic surface finishing with a region-based approach incorporating dynamic motion constraints
This work presents a task-oriented framework for optimizing robotic surface finishing to improve efficiency and ensure feasibility under realistic kinematic and geometric constraints. The approach combines surface subdivision, optimal placement of the workpiece, and region-based toolpath planning to adapt machining strategies to local surface characteristics. A novel time evaluation criterion is introduced that improves our previous kinematic approach by incorporating dynamic aspects. This advancement enables a more realistic estimation of machining time, providing a more reliable basis for optimization and path planning. The framework determines both the optimal position of the workpiece and the subdivision of its surface into regions systematically, enabling machining directions and speeds to be adapted to the geometry of each region. The methodology was validated on several semi-complex surfaces through simulation and experimental trials with collaborative robotic manipulators. The results demonstrate that improved region-based optimization leads to machining time reductions of 9–26% compared to conventional single-direction machining strategies. The most significant improvements were achieved for larger, more complex geometries and denser machining paths, confirming the method’s industrial relevance. These findings establish the framework as a practical solution for reducing cycle time in specific robotic surface finishing tasks
