Selected views on hyperrealism / photorealism and my artistic reworking
Magistrska naloga raziskuje razvoj in teoretska izhodišča hiperrealizma oziroma fotorealizma kot umetniškega sloga, ki združuje izjemno tehnično natančnost in vizualno zvestobo s subjektivnim umetniškim izrazom. V teoretičnem delu so obravnavani ključni vplivi pionirjev, zlasti Louisa K. Meisela, ter značilne tehnike in metode, ki opredeljujejo ta slog. Praktični del naloge vključuje lastno umetniško predelavo, kjer sem z uporabo fotorealističnih tehnik raziskovala motiviko morja. S tem sem razvila osebni umetniški izraz, ki presega zgolj realistično upodobitev in omogoča interpretacijo skozi hiperrealizem. Naloga poudarja možnost kreativne nadgradnje hiperrealizma, ki združuje raziskovalni vpogled s praktično umetniško prakso. The master\u27s thesis explores the development and theoretical foundations of hyperrealism or photorealism as an artistic style that combines exceptional technical precision and visual fidelity with subjective artistic expression. The theoretical part discusses the key influences of the pioneers, especially Louis K. Meisel, and the characteristic techniques and methods that define this style. The practical part of the assignment includes my own artistic processing, where I explored the theme of the sea using photorealistic techniques. With this, I developed a personal artistic expression that goes beyond just realistic depiction and allows for interpretation through hyperrealism. The task highlights the possibility of creative expansion of hyperrealism, which combines research insight with practical artistic practice
Cooperation of a kindergarten with a child and adolescent mental health centre
This bachelor\u27s thesis examines cooperation between kindergartens and child and adolescent mental health centres. The theoretical section outlines the relevant legislative frameworks, curricular guidelines, and the operational characteristics of kindergartens, early intervention centres, and child and adolescent mental health centres. Digitalization of a micro-enterprise
This master’s thesis explores the importance of digitalization in micro enterprises, illustrated through the case study of Pangerc Design, Jan Pangerc s.p. Today’s business environment is rapidly changing, making it essential for companies to follow these trends. It is important to note that micro enterprises are limited in resourceshowever, with the right selection of digital tools, they can also undergo digital transformation and enhance their efficiency, transparency, and competitiveness. The thesis analyses the company’s current state and, based on the findings, highlights key opportunities and develops guidelines for the gradual implementation of digitalization tailored to the company’s actual capabilities and needs.
The key result is the creation of the company’s website and the establishment of an email system on its own domain, representing the first step toward gradual digitalization. In addition, the thesis provides suggestions for further digital progress, such as the use of project management tools, customer relationship management systems, and the introduction of an online store.
The results show that even micro enterprises with limited resources can improve their digital maturity through an appropriate strategy and gradual implementation of digital information solutions. In today’s world, digitalization is both essential and achievable for micro enterprises if carried out step by step using cost-effective and user-friendly tools
The impact of imprisonment on the families of imprisoned persons
Takšne izkušnje vplivajo na njihovo duševno zdravje, samopodobo in socialno vključenost. Partnerji zaprtih oseb se soočajo s čustveno stisko, finančnimi težavami in osamljenostjo, medtem ko širši družinski člani prevzamejo dodatne skrbstvene in čustvene obveznosti. Imprisonment not only affects the individual serving the sentence but also has a significant impact on their family members. This thesis examines the consequences of imprisonment on the families of incarcerated individuals, with a particular focus on children, partners, and extended relatives. The psychological, social, and economic effects of imprisonment are analyzed, especially in relation to children, who often experience feelings of loss, anxiety, shame, and stigmatization. These experiences influence their mental health, self-esteem, and social integration. Partners of incarcerated individuals face emotional distress, financial difficulties, and loneliness, while extended family members take on additional caregiving and emotional responsibilities. As a result, imprisonment increases the risk of the breakdown of family and social networks and contributes to social exclusion. Despite these challenges, appropriate social support, maintaining contact with incarcerated individuals, and open communication serve as protective factors that can strengthen family members\u27 resilience and ease the reintegration of released individuals. This thesis emphasizes the importance of establishing comprehensive support programs that offer psychological assistance, counseling, and help in maintaining family ties, as such approaches can significantly reduce the negative effects of imprisonment and contribute to greater stability and social inclusion for families
EEG + High-density surface EMG recordings of right tibialis anterior muscle during isometric ankle dorsiflexion (HybridNeuro project)
This dataset was prepared in the context of the HybridNeuro project (https://www.hybridneuro.feri.um.si/). It contains a collection of simultaneous EMG and EEG recordings from 7 healthy volunteers. The main purpose of data collection was to investigate the role of beta-band oscillations in motor control by examining how cortical beta activity propagates to the motor unit pool and can be measured at the peripheral level using high-density EMG.
Surface EMG was recorded using 64-channel electrode grids arranged in a 13 × 5 configuration with one missing corner electrode and an interelectrode distance of 4 mm (OT Bioelettronica, Torino, Italy). Signals were amplified (150 V/V), sampled at 2048 Hz using a Quattrocento system (OT Bioelettronica, Torino, Italy), and band-pass filtered between 20 and 500 Hz. Different grid placements were employed to maximize the number of motor units decomposed from the EMG signals.
EEG signals were recorded with 31 active gel-based electrodes positioned according to the International 10–20 system, with FCz as the reference electrode (actiCAP, Brain Products GmbH, Gilching, Germany). Signals were amplified and sampled at 1 kHz using a BrainVision actiCHamp Plus system (Brain Products GmbH, Gilching, Germany).
EEG, EMG, and the exerted force signals were temporally synchronized using a common digital trigger sent to both recording systems.
Participants performed 2 repetitions of 4 sets of trapezoidal submaximal isometric contractions using the right tibialis anterior muscle, at 4 different contraction levels. Total task length was 640 s (not including rests). Each task\u27s data is stored in a separate file in Matlab format (.MAT). Total dataset size is 8.5 GB

Combining ToF-SIMS and multivariate analysis to resolve active sites on Ni-based HER catalysts
Unambiguous identification of active sites in heterogeneous catalysis remains a major challenge, particularly formaterials with ultrathin, chemically mixed surface layers. Here, we demonstrate a generalizable approach that combinestime-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) with multivariate statistical analysis (principal componentanalysis [PCA] and multivariate curve resolution [MCR]) to resolve catalytically relevant motifs at the nanoscale. Using Nielectrodes as a model system, PCA distinguished hydroxide-enriched domains from oxide- and metal-rich regions, whileMCR decomposed depth profiles and 3D images into hydroxide, oxide, and metallic layers with nanometer resolution.A unique secondary-ion fragment, NiO3 H 3− (m/z 108.94), emerged as a marker of hydroxide-rich environments andcorrelated with hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) activity across a series of Ni electrodes. Complementary densityfunctional theory (DFT) calculations revealed that Ni(OH)2 clusters adjacent to metallic Ni offer the most favorable waterdissociation energetics, establishing the structural origin of the marker. While illustrated here for Ni-based HER, thisworkflow provides a broadly applicable framework to isolate and rank near-surface patterns that govern catalytic activity, thereby extending ToF-SIMS from a qualitative probe to a predictive tool for active site identification
