    Development and manufacture of a custom made calf pen system

    V diplomski nalogi smo upoštevajoč želje naročnika, zakonodajo in primere dobre prakse razvili in po meri izdelali sistem ograd za teleta. Problem je predstavljala potreba po modernejših in učinkovitejših boksih na naročnikovi kmetiji. S pomočjo konvencionalnih metod smo koncipirali in zasnovali izdelek, ki smo ga kasneje tudi izdelali in uspešno umestili v naročnikovo kmetijo. Informativno smo tudi preučili proizvodne stroške, možnosti vstopa na trg ter razlike med po meri izdelanimi izdelki in izdelki serijske izdelave. Boksi, izdelani po naročilu, se bolje integrirajo v prostor in so bolj prilagodljivi. Ugotovili smo, da bi bila proizvodnja v tako majhnem obsegu negospodarna, upoštevajoč proizvodne stroške, količino povpraševanje in konkurenčnost ostalih ponudnikov.In the thesis, we custom-designed a calf pen system based on the client’s requests, legislation, and examples of good practice. The main challenge was the need for more modern and efficient pens on the client’s farm. Using conventional methods, we conceptualized and designed the product, which was later produced and successfully implemented on the farm. We also informatively examined production costs, market entry possibilities, and the differences between custom-made and mass-produced products. Custom-made pens integrate better into the space and offer greater flexibility. However, production on such a small scale would be impractical considering production costs, demand volume, and competition from other suppliers

    Digital maturity of the Kamnik Retirement home

    V magistrskem delu smo obravnavali in analizirali stopnjo digitalne zrelosti Doma za starejše občane Kamnik (v nadaljevanju DSO Kamnik). Z besedno zvezo digitalna zrelost opišemo samo sposobnost organizacije in v kolikšni meri učinkovito uporablja digitalne tehnologije pri upravljanju procesov, nudenju podpore zaposlenim in samem izboljšanju storitev, ki jih nudijo ter opravljajo. V takšnih ustanovah javnega sektorja, kot so domovi za starejše, je digitalizacija ključnega pomena, saj se z njeno uporabo veča učinkovitost, kakovost oskrbe in tudi podatki so bolje in lažje sledljivi. Raziskavo smo izvedli z namenom, da bi pridobili vpogled, na kakšni stopnji digitalne zrelosti se nahaja DSO Kamnik, prepoznali njihove glavne prednosti in slabosti na tem področju ter oblikovali potencialne rešitve za izboljšave. Za pridobitev ocene stopnje digitalne zrelosti smo uporabili vprašalnik, ki je pripravljen s strani Digitalnega inovacijskega stičišča Slovenije (DIHS). Z analizo izbranih odgovorov smo ugotovili, da se DSO Kamnik nahaja na začetni stopnji digitalizacije. V nekaterih delovnih procesih so digitalne rešitve že prisotne in jih zaposleni uporabljajo pri svojem delu, vendar niso celovito vključene v vse procese poslovanja. V zaključku magistrskega dela smo predlagali nekaj možnih aktivnosti, ki bi jih lahko začeli izvajati z namenom digitalizacije.In the master\u27s thesis, we discussed and analyzed the level of digital maturity of the Kamnik Retirement home (hereinafter: DSO Kamnik). The phrase "digital maturity" describes an organisation\u27s ability to effectively utilise digital technologies in managing processes, providing support to employees, and enhancing the services they deliver. In public sector institutions like retirement homes, digitalization is crucial, as it enhances efficiency, improves care quality, and makes data easily traceable. We conducted the research to gain insight into the level of digital maturity of DSO Kamnik, identify its main strengths and weaknesses in this area, and design potential improvement solutions. To obtain an assessment of the level of digital maturity, we used a questionnaire prepared by the Digital Innovation Hub of Slovenia (DIHS). By analyzing the selected responses, we found that DSO Kamnik is at the initial stage of digitalization. In some work processes, digital solutions are already present and used by employees in their workhowever, they are not fully integrated into all business processes. At the end of the master\u27s thesis, we proposed some possible activities to be initiated with the aim of digitalization

    Reconstruction of wind turbine blade geometry using the reverse engineering

    V diplomskem delu je predstavljena rekonstrukcija geometrije lopatice vetrne turbine po procesu obratnega inženirstva. Za izhodišče so bili uporabljeni podatki iz 3D-skeniranja, ki so bili obdelani v programu SolidWorks. S pomočjo makrov VBA je bil razvit postopek za avtomatizirano vstavljanje presečnih ravnin, izvoz koordinat v besedilne datoteke ter ustvarjanje krivulj. Končni parametrični model je bil oblikovan z uporabo funkcije Loft. Razvita metoda omogoča učinkovitejše, hitrejše in natančnejše modeliranje kompleksnih geometrij, kar je uporabno pri načrtovanju, analizi in optimizaciji vetrnih turbin.This thesis presents the reconstruction of a wind turbine blade geometry using the reverse engineering. The proces is based on 3D scanning data, which were processed in SolidWorks. By appying VBA macros, an automated procedure was developed for inserting section planes, exporting coordinates into text files and generating curves. The final parametric model was created using the Loft feature. The proposed method enables more efficient, faster and more accurate modeling of complex geometries, which is particulary useful for the design, analysis and optimization of wind turbines

    Diplomsko delo obravnava optimizacijo potrebne toplotne moči toplotne podpostaje Remont 1, namenjene oskrbi industrijskih objektov Premogovnika Velenje. Na podlagi standarda SIST EN 12831 sta izvedena izračun toplotnih izgub objekta in pripadajočih cevovodov ter analiza glavnih vzrokov izgub. Predstavljeni so različni energetski ukrepi, med katerimi so izboljšava toplotne izolacije, zamenjava stavbnega pohištva in optimizacija delovanja sistema. V delu so podani tudi izračuni možnih prihrankov in vpliva ukrepov na zmanjšanje toplotnih izgub ter povečanje energetske učinkovitosti sistema daljinskega ogrevanja.The thesis examines the optimization of the required heating capacity of the Remont 1 thermal substation, which supplies industrial facilities of Premogovnik Velenje. Heat losses for the building and associated pipelines were calculated in accordance with the SIST EN 12831 standard, followed by an analysis of the main sources of these losses. Various energy efficiency measures are presented, including the improvement of thermal insulation, replacement of windows and doors, and optimization of system operation. The thesis also provides calculations of potential savings and assesses the impact of these measures on reducing heat losses and improving the energy efficiency of the district heating system

    V zaključnem delu smo analizirali strojno in programsko zgradbo razvojne plošče Arduino UNO R3 z vidika njene uporabnosti v energetskih merilnih sistemih. Osredotočili smo se na ključne funkcionalnosti plošče, možnosti povezave s senzorji ter omejitve v primerjavi z drugimi platformami. Na podlagi teoretične analize ugotavljamo, da je Arduino UNO R3 primerna izbira za osnovne merilne aplikacije v izobraževalne in raziskovalne namene. Priporočamo uporabo z dodatnimi moduli za izboljšanje natančnosti in razširitev funkcionalnostiIn this thesis, we analyzed the hardware and software structure of the Arduino UNO R3 development board in the context of its applicability in energy measurement systems. We focused on key functionalities, sensor connectivity, and limitations compared to other platforms. Based on the theoretical analysis, we conclude that Arduino UNO R3 is a suitable choice for basic measurement applications in educational and research settings. We recommend using additional modules to improve accuracy and expand system capabilities

    Razvoj sveta se dogaja na vsakem koraku. Kakor se ljudje razvijamo, tako so potrebne tudi spremembe tega, kar poznamo, in vpliva na naše življenje. Trg dela se je spremenil, pričakovanja so se spremenila, tako tistih, ki ponujajo storitve ali svoje blago, kot kupcev in drugih strank. Danes je vse dostopno, ponudba je zelo velika in poskrbeti je treba, da kupec ostane zvest našemu podjetju in storitvami ali blagu. Zvestobo stranke si podjetje mora zaslužiti, in to ni enostavna naloga, ko vemo, da imamo širok spekter konkurence. Ko podjetje opravlja takšne storitve, pri katerih ne obstajajo kartice zvestobe in zbiranje pik, se še bolj komplicira naloga, da obdržimo obstoječe stranke in pridobimo nove. Ena izmed takšnih storitev je računovodstvo. Dosti podjetij ima svoje računovodstvo, ki ga ne predaja zunanjim izvajalcem, s čimer se enemu računovodskem servisu zapirajo vrata, ki peljejo do nove potencialno zvestne stranke. S tem je še bolj pomembno imeti dobro prodajo, da pripelje stranke, ampak kaj, če stranka ne bo zadovoljna s svojim skrbnikom, s storitvami, ki jih ponujamo, s proaktivnostjo. V tem primeru ni onih magičnih besed »Imate nekaj evrov na kartici zvestobe, ali jih boste pokoristili?«, in bomo pozabili na problem. Velika podjetja, ki so zaznala tiste probleme, so prišla do rešitev. Oseba, ki lahko pomaga, je skrbnik ključnih kupcev. Kdo je on in kako pomaga, kaj dejansko naredi, da kupci ostanejo stranke našega podjetja. Ali ima res moč obdržati kupce in zvišati profit podjetja, poleg tega pa pripeljati nove stranke, ne da se bo s to nalogo resno ukvarjal. V tem delu bomo spoznali, kaj je management in na katere ravni ga lahko ločimo. S tem znanjem bomo prišli do tega, kdo je pravzaprav skrbnik ključnih kupcev, kaj je njegovo delo in katere vedenjske veščine mora obvladovati, da bi bil zelo produktiven pri opravljanju svojih nalog. Preučili bomo, kaj je vse komunikacija in kaj je dejansko pogajanje, kako komunikacijo in pogajanje skrbnik ključnik kupcev uporablja, da bi dosegel raven zadovoljstva, ki jo stranke same pričakujejo, poleg tega pa še, kako bo uporabil komunikacijo s sodelavci, da bi se raven kakovosti storitve za kupca zvišala. Ne smemo pozabiti na določitev, kdo so pravzaprav ključni kupci, ali so to vsi kupci našega podjejta ali pa vse kupce ločimo na različne skupine glede na nam pomembne kriterije. S tem bo prišlo do analize pomembnosti skrbnika ključnih kupcev in odgovora na vsa zastavljena vprašanja, na katera smo mogoče pomislili pri branju povzetka.The development of the world is happening at every step, as people develop, so changes in what we know are also necessary, and it affects our lives. The labor market has changed, expectations have changed, both those who offer services or their goods, and customers and other customers. Today, everything is accessible, the offer is very large and it is necessary to ensure that the customer remains loyal to our company and services or goods. A company must earn customer loyalty and this is not an easy task when we know that we have a wide range of competition. When a company provides such services that do not have loyalty cards and collecting points, the task of retaining existing customers and acquiring new ones becomes even more complicated. One of such services is accounting. Many companies have their own accounting that they do not outsource, and this closes the door to a new potentially loyal customer for one accounting service. This makes it even more important to have good sales to bring in customers, but what if the customer is not satisfied with their administrator, with the services we offer them, with proactivity. In this case, there are no magic words, you have a few euros on your loyalty card or you will use them and we will forget about the problem. Large companies that have noticed those problems have come up with a solution. The person who can help is the key account manager. Who is he and how does he help, what does he actually do to make customers remain customers of our company. Does he really have the power to retain customers and increase the company\u27s profit, and also bring in new customers, without seriously dealing with this task. In this part, we will learn what management is and at what levels we can distinguish it. With this knowledge, we will come to know who the right key account manager is, what his job is and what behavioral skills he must master in order to be very productive in performing his tasks. We will learn what communication is all about and what actual negotiation is. How does a key account manager use communication and negotiation to achieve the level of satisfaction that customers themselves expect. In addition, how will he use communication with colleagues to increase the level of quality of service for the customer. We must not forget to determine who the key customers are, whether they are all the customers of our company, or we divide all the customers into different groups according to the criteria that are important to us. This will lead to an analysis of the importance of the key customer care and the answer to all the questions that we may have thought of when reading the summary

    Stress management of healthcare workers

    Uvod: Stres je v sodobnem zdravstvenem sistemu vse pogostejši pojav, ki močno vpliva na dobrobit zaposlenih in kakovost zdravstvene oskrbe. Ta pregled literature se poglablja v razumevanje glavnih vzrokov stresa pri zdravstvenih delavcih ter raziskuje, katere strategije so se pokazale kot najučinkovitejše za njegovo obvladovanje. Metode: Izvedli smo pregled literature. Iskanje je potekalo v mednarodnih podatkovnih bazah PubMed, ScienceDirect in SAGE. Potek iskanja literature smo prikazali z uporabo diagrama poteka. Članke, vključene v končno analizo, smo kritično ocenili s pomočjo orodja Joanna Briggs Institute. Uporabljena je bila tematska analiza. Rezultati: Od 1938 zadetkov smo v končno analizo vključili devet člankov. S pomočjo tematske analize smo identificirali glavno temo, in sicer Strategije za učinkovito upravljanje in zmanjševanje stresa zdravstvenih delavcev ter tri podteme: Individualne strategije, Organizacijske strategije in Učinki strategij na duševno zdravje. Razprava in zaključek: Stres pri zdravstvenih delavcih predstavlja enega ključnih izzivov sodobnega zdravstvenega sistema. Učinkovito ga lahko zmanjšamo s kombinacijo individualnih pristopov, kot so čuječnost, telesna dejavnost in digitalna orodja, ter s sistemskimi spremembami. Pomembno je, da se o stresu v zdravstvu ne le pogovarjamo, temveč tudi dejansko ukrepamo.Introduction: Stress is an increasingly common phenomenon in the modern healthcare system, which has a significant impact on employee well-being and the quality of healthcare. This literature review deepens our understanding of the main causes of stress in healthcare workers and explores which strategies have proven to be most effective for managing it. Methods: We conducted a literature review. The search was conducted in the international databases PubMed, ScienceDirect and SAGE. The process of the literature search was illustrated using a flowchart. The articles included in the final analysis were critically appraised using the Joanna Briggs Institute tools. Thematic analysis was used. Results: From 1938 searches, nine articles were included in the final analysis. Using thematic analysis, we identified the main theme “Strategies for effective management and reduction of stress in healthcare workers” and three subthemes “Individual strategies”, “Organizational strategies” and “Effects of strategies on mental health”. Discussion and conclusion: Stress in healthcare workers represents one of the key challenges of the modern healthcare system. It can be effectively reduced through a combination of individual approaches such as mindfulness, physical activity and digital tools, as well as systemic changes. It is important that we not only talk about stress in healthcare but also take action

    Uvod: Travmatska poškodba možganov je pomemben zdravstveno-socialni problem, ki močno zaznamuje tako paciente kot tudi njegove svojce in skrbnike. Namen raziskovanja je bil preučiti izkušnje svojcev pacientov po travmatski poškodbi možganov, s poudarkom na njihovih izzivih, potrebah in vlogi pri okrevanju pacientov. Metode: Izveden je bil pregled znanstvene literature v bazah MEDLINE, CINAHL in Web of Science. Vključene so bile kvalitativne raziskave, objavljene v angleščini, ki preučujejo izkušnje svojcev odraslih pacientov po travmatski poškodbi možganov. Kritična ocena je bila opravljena s pomočjo orodja Critical Appraisal Skills Programme, podatki pa so bili analizirani s tematsko sintezo. Rezultati: Skupno smo identificirali 1549 zadetkov. V končno analizo je bilo vključenih deset raziskav. Svojci so poročali o preobremenjenosti, socialni izolaciji in o težavah pri usklajevanju skrbstvene vloge z vsakdanjimi obveznostmi. Izpostavili so pomanjkanje informacij, podpore in vključevanja v odločitve o zdravljenju. Kljub težavam so aktivno prispevali k okrevanju pacientov, zlasti z motivacijo, sodelovanjem v rehabilitaciji ter prilagajanjem družinske dinamike. Razprava: Analiza je pokazala vrzel v sistemski podpori svojcem, ki bi jo lahko zapolnili s strukturiranimi podpornimi programi, večjo vključenostjo svojcev v obravnavo ter razvojem intervencij, ki krepijo njihovo odpornost. Zaključek: Vloga svojcev pri oskrbi pacientov s travmatsko poškodbo možganov je nepogrešljiva, zato je nujno razviti celostne intervencije za zmanjšanje njihovega bremena in izboljšanje psihosocialne podpore.Introduction: Traumatic brain injury is is an important health and social problem that significantly affects both patients and their relatives and caregivers. The aim of this study was to explore the experiences of relatives of patients with a traumatic brain injury, with a focus on their challenges, needs, and role in patient recovery. Methods: A review of the scientific literature was conducted in the MEDLINE, CINAHL, and Web of Science databases. Included were qualitative studies published in English that examined the experiences of relatives of adult patients with a traumatic brain injury. Critical appraisal was performed using the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme, and data were analyzed through thematic synthesis. Results: A total of 1,549 records were identified, of which ten studies were included in the final analysis. Relatives reported feelings of burden, social isolation, and difficulties in balancing caregiving responsibilities with daily obligations. They highlighted a lack of information, support, and involvement in treatment decisions. Despite these challenges, relatives actively contributed to patient recovery, particularly through motivation, participation in rehabilitation, and adaptation of family dynamics. Discussion: The analysis revealed gaps in systemic support for family members, which could be addressed by structured support programs, greater involvement of relatives in care, and the development of interventions that strengthen resilience. Conclusion: The role of relatives in caring for patients with a traumatic brain injury is indispensable. Comprehensive interventions are urgently needed to reduce caregiver burden and improve psychosocial support

    Preparation and application of red gypsum adsorbent for waste water treatment

    V sklopu doktorske disertacije smo proučili, ali je mogoče iz rdeče sadre, ki trenutno predstavlja odpadek in obremenjuje okolje, pripraviti učinkovit adsorbent, ki bi bil uporaben za čiščenje odpadnih vod različnih pH vrednosti. Na učinkovitost posameznih adsorbentov ima velik vpliv način sintetiziranja kakor tudi raztopina, ki jo želimo čistiti. V sklopu priprave adsorbenta smo spreminjali koncentracijsko razmerje vhodnih surovin, temperaturo priprave adsorbenta, čas mešanja, intenziteto mešanja in preverjali učinek različne količine dodanega adsorbenta na potek adsorpcije. Analizirali smo lastnosti adsorbenta in preverili njegovo učinkovitost. Rezultate smo primerjali z rezultati, ki smo jih dobili z uporabo zeolita, bentonita in bele žlindre, kakor tudi z rezultati različnih avtorjev.As part of the doctoral dissertation, we examined whether it is possible to prepare an effective adsorbent from red gypsum, which is currently waste and burdens the environment, which would be useful for cleaning wastewater of different pH values. The efficiency of individual adsorbents is greatly influenced by the method of synthesis as well as the solution to be cleaned. As part of the preparation of the adsorbent, we changed the concentration ratio of the input raw materials, the temperature of the adsorbent preparation, the mixing time, the intensity of the mixing and checked the effect of different amounts of added adsorbent on the course of adsorption. We analyzed the properties of the adsorbent and checked its effectiveness. The results were compared with the results obtained using zeolite, bentonite and white slag, as well as with the results of various authors

    V magistrskem delu, ki je bilo izdelano v sodelovanju s podjetjem Inel d. o. o., je opisan razvoj in izdelava robotske naprave za montažo vijačnih elementov na avtomobilsko luč. Naprava omogoča popolnoma avtomatizirano montažo vijačnih elementov in hkrati preverjanje ustreznosti nameščenih elementov. V magistrskem delu so podrobno opisani sklopi, ki so potrebni za optimalno delovanje naprave in varnostni ukrepi, ki zagotavljajo varno delovno okolje. Modeliranje naprave in izdelava delavniških risb sta bila izvedena v programskem paketu SolidWorks. Sledi predstavitev rezultatov in potek testiranja naprave. Na koncu magistrskega dela so predstavljena navodila za delo z napravo, morebitne nevarnosti pri rokovanju z njo in opis vzdrževanja.In the master\u27s thesis, which was prepared in cooperation with the company Inel d. o. o., is described the development and production of a robotic device for mounting screw elements on a car light. The device enables the fully automated mounting of screw elements and at the same time checks the adequacy of the installed elements. The task describes in detail the assemblies that are necessary for the optimal operation of the device, and the safety measures, that ensure a safe working environment. Modeling of the device and production of workshop drawings were created in the SolidWorks software package. This is followed by a presentation of the results and the course of testing the device. At the end are presented, instructions for working with the device, potential hazards when handling it and a description of maintenance
