    Development and implementation of a verifying tool for food safety culture in a selected food establishment

    Kultura varnosti hrane vključuje norme, vrednote in prepričanja zaposlenih o procesih in postopkih za zagotavljanje varnosti proizvodov. Izvajanje in izboljševanje kulture varnosti hrane je postalo v Sloveniji obvezno z Uredbo 2021/382 v letu 2021. Podjetja so za izvajanje, ocenjevanje in izboljševanje kulture primorana razviti svoj sistem ali ga povzeti po nekaterih dostopnih modelih. Cilj magistrske naloge je bil razviti orodje za preverjanje kulture varnosti hrane in implementacija le-tega v izbranem živilskem podjetju. V uvodu smo predstavili definicije in zgodovino pojma kulture varnosti hrane, povzeli zahteve zakonodaje in živilskih standardov ter raziskali razloge za prepoznavo in potrebo po vpeljavi kulture varnosti hrane. V eksperimentalnem delu smo na osnovi pregleda literature povzeli orodja in metode za ocenjevanje kulture v drugih podjetjih. Za namen naše raziskave smo izdelali anketni vprašalnik. Kulturo varnosti hrane smo preverjali v šestih vsebinskih sklopih (zavezanost vodstva in komunikacija, zavezanost nadrejenih, usposabljanje, odnosi v podjetju, povratne informacije zaposlenih in kazalniki merjenja varnosti proizvodov). Udeleženci raziskave so trditve ocenjevali s petstopenjsko Likertovo lestvico ocenjevanja oz. strinjanja. Vsi vsebinski sklopi so bili ocenjeni z oceno 4 (strinjam se). Najslabše ocenjene trditve so bile o motivaciji zaposlenih, možnostih napredovanja, nagrajevanju uspešnega dela, sodelovanju pri ustvarjanju dokumentov in vpeljavi tehnologij ter količini dela. S statistično obdelavo podatkov smo dokazali, da spol, vrsta oddelka in pozicija v oddelku vplivajo na oceno kulture varnosti hrane.Food Safety culture are norms, values and beliefs of employees about processes and procedures to ensure product safety. The implementation and improvement of food safety have become mandatory in Slovenia according to the Regulation 2021/382 in 2021. Companies are forced to implement, evaluate and improve their own system of food culture or utilize some already available models. The aim of this master\u27s thesis was to develop and implement a tool for verifying food safety culture in a selected food establishment. Definitions and history of food safety culture concept were presented, legislation and standard requirements were summedd up and reasons for identifying and developing the culture were explored. In the experimental part, the literature from this particular field was used to review tools and methods for the assessment of culture in other organisations. For the purpose of this research, a questionnaire was developed. The food safety culture was verified in six parts (management commitment and communication, commitment from superiors, training, ralations in company, employee feedback and indicators for measuring product safety). The survey participants assessed statements on a five point Likert scale. All parts were evaluated with grade 4 (agree). The lowest rated statements were about motivation of employees, opportunities for promotion, rewarding successful work, cooperation at creating documentation and implementation of new technologies and workload. The data obtained via statistical data processing indicate, that gender, type of department and position in the department influence the assessment of culture

    Development of a method for creation of information models of complex mechanical systems in build environment based on procedural modeling and knowledge models

    V doktorski disertaciji predstavljamo razvoj in vrednotenje metodologije za izdelavo informacijskega modela na izbranem primeru kompleksnega strojniškega sistema, ki je del grajenega okolja. Model je grajen na osnovi proceduralnega modeliranja in modela znanja – ontologije. Pred začetkom razvoja metode smo izvedli bibliometrično analizo preseka dveh raziskovalnih področij, ki imata vzajemni medsebojni vpliv. Metodo smo razvili na način, da smo določili delotok za podajanje predlogov in razširjanje standarda ter dokumentacije IFC na osnovi produktnih standardov. V okviru predloga za razširitev dokumentacije IFC smo na podlagi ugotovljenih razhajanj na novo določili ter umestili domeno za obravnavano področje in ustvarili predloge za vpeljavo 16 novih shem IFC. Razširitvene predloge in tehnične zahteve produktnega standarda smo prenesli v ontološki model znanja s pravili za podporo sklepanja ter predpisali povezave in omejitve med posameznimi razredi ter njihovimi podrazredi. Na osnovi predlogov za razširitev sheme IFC in razvite ontologije MGDS smo ustvarili parametrični model centralnega sistema za medicinske pline v grajenem okolju, ki smo ga validirali, preverili skladnost načrtovanega z zahtevami produktnega standarda, z uporabo sklepalnika. Z razvojem in validacijo metodologije prenosa inženirskega znanja v digitalno okolje in hkratnim avtomatiziranjem gradnje modelov BIM smo razvili metodo, za katero ocenjujemo, da ima velik potencial za spremembo vsakdana inženirskega dela. Metodologija omogoča hkratno pohitritev delovnih procesov in doseganje večje učinkovitosti z manjšo verjetnostjo za nastanek inženirskih napak v načrtovalnih fazah.In this doctoral thesis the development of a methodology for creating an information model of a complex mechanical system, which is part of the built environment, is presented. The model was based on procedural modelling and ontology. Prior to the development of the method, a bibliometric cross-sectional analysis of two mutually interacting research fields was performed. In the following chapter, the methodology for submitting recommendations and expanding IFC standard and documentation based on product standards was defined. As part of the recommendations for the IFC documentation update, the domain for the area of medical devices was redefined based on the identified deviations. Furthermore, the recommendations for the implementation of 16 new IFC schemes were created. Based on the developed methodology, the expansion recommendations and technical requirements of the product standard were transferred to the ontology, including the rules to support reasoning of prescribed relations and restrictions between individual entities and their respective subgroups. Based on the recommendations for expanding the IFC scheme and the developed MGDS ontology, a parametric model of the central system for medical gases was created, validated, and checked for compliance with the requirements of the product standard. By developing and validating the methodology for the transfer of engineering knowledge to the software environment while simultaneously automating the construction of BIM models, a method was developed that shows potential to change everyday engineering work.     Tema magistrskega dela je razvoj in izdelava nosilca kompresorja zamrzovalne skrinje, obdelava tehnološkega procesa izdelave, konstruiranje novega izdelka, prihranek materiala ter priprava orodij za izdelavo pločevinastih delov. Metode izdelave pločevinastih delov se pogosto uporabljajo v različnih vejah kovinske predelave, predvsem v serijski in velikoserijski proizvodnji. »Nosilec kompresorja« je sestavni del vodoravnega zamrzovalnika, katerega glavni namen je predstavljati nosilni element, na katerega so pritrjeni elementi kompresorja in je izdelan iz jeklene pločevine s plastičnim deformiranjem. S pomočjo paketa Autoform je bila geometrija narisanega kosa analizirana, ugotovljeno je bilo, kje so kritične točke pri izdelavi.The topic of the master\u27s work is the development and production of the freezer compressor support, processing of the technological production process, designing a new product, saving material and preparing tools for the production of sheet metal parts. Methods of manufacturing sheet metal parts are often used in various branches of metal processing, especially in serial and large-scale production. "Compressor support", is an integral part of a horizontal freezer, the main purpose of which is to represent a support element to which the compressor elements are attached, and it is made of sheet steel with plastic deformation. With the help of the Autoform package, the geometry of the drawn piece was analyzed, it was found that are critical points in manufacturing

    Optimization of aluminium extruded profile of bed head unit

    V magistrski nalogi je prikazano konstruiranje univerzalnega aluminijastega ekstrudiranega profila bolniškega kanala, ki bi v primeru potrebe po večih prekatih omogočal enostavno spajanje profilov med seboj in hitrejšo vgradnjo komponent. Na podlagi pripravljenega konstrukcijskega zahtevnika so bile pripravljene štiri konceptne rešitve. Izbran koncept upošteva zahteve in predloge standarda EN ISO 11179 in EN 755-9 ter omogoča hitrejšo vgradnjo komponent v profil in enostavnejše spajanje večih profilov med seboj. Izbran način spajanja je predstavljen tudi na obliki novega profila šine in profila luči. V zadnjem delu naloge je predstavljena še primerjalna analiza spajanja novega in sedanjega postopka spajanja profilov.The master\u27s thesis demonstrates the construction of a universal extruded aluminium profile for a bed head unit, which would allow easy joining of the profiles and faster installation of the components in case of a need for multiple sections. Based on a construction requirement plan four conceptual ideas were designed. The selected concept is based on the EN ISO 11179 and EN 755-9 standards. It allows faster installation of profile components and easier joining of multiple profiles. The selected joining method is also used on the new rail profile and the light profile. The final part of the master\u27s thesis presents a comparative analysis for the joining of the new and the current profile joining process

    Individualized education program for a non-verbal pupil

    Magistrska naloga obravnava pomen komunikacije, govora in jezika ter njihov vpliv na razvoj otroka s posebnimi potrebami. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni temeljni pojmi komunikacije in njene vrste, govor in jezik kot osrednja sistema izražanja ter značilnosti govorno-jezikovnega razvoja. Posebna pozornost je namenjena govorno-jezikovnim motnjam, ki lahko bistveno vplivajo na otrokovo vključevanje v vzgojno-izobraževalni proces. Nadalje je predstavljen sistem nadomestne in podporne komunikacije kot ključnih strategij za otroke brez ekspresivnega govora ter individualiziran program kot formalni okvir za načrtovanje ciljev, prilagoditev in spremljanje napredka. Empirični del naloge temelji na študiji primera učenke, ki ne uporablja ekspresivnega govora. Analizirano je njeno funkcioniranje v šolskem in širšem okolju ter prikazano, kako se teoretična spoznanja odražajo v praksi. S pomočjo individualiziranega programa so oblikovani cilji, prilagoditve in pripomočki, ki učenki omogočajo večjo samostojnost, vključevanje v skupino ter razvoj komunikacijskih in socialnih veščin. Rezultati potrjujejo, da je povezovanje teorije in prakse nujno za uspešno delo z otroki, ki potrebujejo podporo na govorno-jezikovnem področju. Naloga tako prispeva k boljšemu razumevanju potreb otrok brez ekspresivnega govora ter pokaže, da je z ustreznimi prilagoditvami, s pripomočki in sodelovanjem mogoče ustvariti pogoje za njihovo uspešno vključevanje v vzgojno-izobraževalni proces in širše družbeno okolje.The master\u27s thesis examines the importance of communication, speech, and language, as well as their impact on the development of a child with special needs. The theoretical part presents fundamental concepts of communication and its forms, describes speech and language as central systems of expression, and explores the characteristics of speech-language development. Emphasis is placed on speech-language disorders, as they can significantly influence a child’s inclusion in the educational process. Furthermore, the system of augmentative and alternative communication is introduced as a key set of strategies for children without expressive speech, while the individualised programme is presented as the formal framework for setting goals, implementing adaptations, and monitoring progress. The empirical part of the thesis is based on a case study of a student who does not use expressive speech. Her functioning within the school setting and wider environment is examined, demonstrating how theoretical insights are reflected in practice. With the help of an individualised programme, goals, adaptations, and tools are developed to promote the student\u27s independence, enhance group participation, and enable the development of communication and social skills. The results confirm that linking theory and practice is essential for effective work with children who require assistance in speech and language. The thesis therefore contributes to a better understanding of the needs of children without expressive speech and shows that with appropriate adaptations, tools and collaboration, it is possible to create conditions for their successful participation in both educational setting and the broader social environment

    High-density surface EMG + EEG recordings of isometric ankle dorsiflexion, imaginary movement and GO/NO-GO tasks (HybridNeuro project)

    This dataset was prepared in the context of the HybridNeuro project (https://www.hybridneuro.feri.um.si/). It contains a collection of simultaneous EMG and EEG recordings from 20 healthy volunteers. The main purpose of data collection was to assess the sensitivity of corticomuscular coherence detection estimated by the proposed motor unit-based EEG filters and compare it to the classical EEG processing techniques. Surface EMG was recorded from the tibialis anterior muscle during isometric ankle dorsiflexions using 13 x 5 electrode array with 8mm interelectrode distance (model GR08MM1305 from OT Bioelettronica, Torino, Italy). EEG was recorded with a 64 channel EEG cap (model EEG-Cap64 from OT Bioelettronica, Torino, Italy). Both EMG and EEG were recorded simultaneously using the same amplifier (model Quattrocento from OT Bioelettronica, Torino, Italy) at 16 bit resolution and 2048 Hz sampling frequency. For each participant, 25 tasks were recorded with total length of approximately 37 minutes. Each task\u27s data is stored in a separate file in Matlab format (.MAT). Total dataset size is 26.9 GB

    Publikacija Vodnik skozi postopke pri analizi ankete s statističnim programom SPSS – 1. del je praktično naravnan učni pripomoček, namenjen začetnim uporabnikom statističnega programa SPSS. Osredotoča se na prve, pogosto spregledane korake raziskovalnega procesa, ki potekajo še pred samo analizo podatkov: razumevanje statističnih enot in spremenljivk, načrtovanje raziskave, oblikovanje anketnega vprašalnika ter pripravo podatkovne datoteke. Bralca korak za korakom vodi skozi sestavo ankete, kodiranje in urejanje spremenljivk, uvoz in organizacijo podatkov ter osnovne funkcionalnosti okolja.     Development of a bending tools storage trolley

    V skladu diplomske naloge je bil razvit skladiščni voziček za upogibna orodja na podlagi obstoječega orodja, ki se nahaja v laboratoriju fakultete. Gre za občutljiva orodja, za katere že majhna obraba površine vpliva na kakovost izdelkov, natančnost proizvodnje in učinkovitost delovnih procesov. Za varno in učinkovito skladiščenje različnih tipov upogibnih orodij, je pomembno izbrati pravo rešitev, ki bo zagotavljala hiter in varen dostop do orodja. Na pram tega pa se je razvil voziček na podlagi zadanega zahtevnika, za zagotovitev njegove funkcionalnosti in namembnosti. Pri razvijanju smo izdelek optimizirali za proizvodnjo z uporabo tehnologije laserskega razreza in upogibanja pločevine. To se je dosegalo z uporabo naprednih računalniških orodij za modeliranje, simulacijo razreza in upogibanja pločevine, ki bo primeren za izdelavo s tehnologijo, ki je na voljo v laboratoriju fakultete za inteligentne obdelovalne sisteme. Končni izdelek bo tako pripravljen za učinkovito in brezhibno proizvodnjo v laboratoriju fakultete.In accordance with the diploma thesis, a storage cart for bending tools was developed based on an existing tool located in the faculty\u27s laboratory. These are sensitive tools, where even minor surface wear affects product quality, production precision, and process efficiency. For the safe and efficient storage of various types of bending tools, it is crucial to choose the right solution that ensures quick and secure access to the tools. Therefore, a cart was developed based on the given requirements to ensure its functionality and purpose. During development, the product was optimized for manufacturing using laser cutting and sheet metal bending technology. This was achieved through the use of advanced computer tools for modeling, simulation of cutting, and sheet metal bending, making it suitable for production with the technology available in the faculty\u27s laboratory for intelligent manufacturing systems. The final product will thus be ready for efficient and flawless production in the faculty\u27s laboratory

    Development of electrically conductive textile materials modifield with MXenes for electrochemical energy storage applications

    Elektroprevodne tekstilije imajo velik potencial pri razvoju nosljivih elektronskih naprav, vendar je njihova širša uveljavitev omejena zaradi pomanjkanja napajalnih virov, ki bi bili dovolj prožni, stabilni in dovolj zmogljivi. V zadnjem času je bil narejen velik napredek pri razvoju fleksibilnih tekstilnih superkondenzatorjev, ki so funkcionalizirani z nanodelci, zlasti Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXeni, ki imajo visoko električno prevodnost, specifično kapacitivnost in združljivost z različnimi tekstilnimi substrati. Kljub dobrim lastnostim njihova implementacija ostaja zahtevna zaradi neenakomernega nanosa delcev, njihovega medsebojnega zlaganja, omejene zmogljivosti ter nezadostne obstojnosti na tekstilnih substratih, kar predstavlja pomemben raziskovalni izziv pri razvoju naprednih napajalnih rešitev za t. i. pametne tekstilije. Doktorska disertacija se osredotoča na razvoj elektroprevodnih tekstilnih materialov, modificiranih z nanodelci Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXenov, ki so namenjeni uporabi v fleksibilnih elektrokemičnih hranilnikih energije. V primerjavi z referenčnimi študijami, kjer za sintezo, kot prekurzor, uporabljajo MAX fazo manjših dimenzij (40 µm), smo v naši raziskavi sintetizirali Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXen nanodelce iz MAX faze večjih dimenzij (100 µm) s spremenjenimi pogoji jedkanja. Pripravljeni 2D nanodelci so tvorili stabilne koloidne disperzije (ζ-potencial ≤ −40 mV), ki so bile primerne za nanos na celulozno tkanino. Z optimizacijo procesa smo pripravili delce večjih dimenzij (hidrodinamični premer do 2723 nm v primerjavi s 1422 nm pri referenci), povečali smo stabilnost disperzij (48-odstotno znižanje absorbance po 30 dneh v primerjavi z 68 % pri referenci) ter izboljšali izkoristek in električno prevodnost (12,3 kS/cm v primerjavi z 8,6 kS/cm pri referenčnem vzorcu). Z nanosom Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXen nanodelcev na bombažno tkanino po postopku omakanja smo proučevali vpliv velikosti delcev na njihovo porazdelitev po površini tkanine in električno prevodnost modificiranih tkanin. Z meritvami kontaktne profilometrije in električnega upora smo pokazali, da večji delci, pripravljeni pri optimiziranih pogojih jedkanja, omogočajo oblikovanje bolj homogenega in bolj prevodnega sloja. Proučili smo obstojnost nanosa po več ciklih pranja (do 20-krat) ter dokazali, da uporaba polimernih zaščitnih premazov (PUR, AR, TECT) izboljša obstojnost delcev, ne da bi pri tem močno poslabšala fleksibilnost in funkcionalnost tekstilij. Z vnosom HrGO in LAW med MXen plasti ali s termično obdelavo MXen tekstilnih elektrod smo zmanjšali zlaganje MXen delcev, kar je vodilo do povečanega razmaka med delci, večje specifične površine ter boljše elektrokemične dostopnosti aktivnih mest. Na podlagi elektrokemične karakterizacije smo z metodami CV, GCD in EIS pokazali, da MXen/tekstilne elektrode izkazujejo psevdokapacitivnost, pri čemer je bila njihova zmogljivost odvisna od uporabljenih postopkov obdelave. Z vključevanjem HrGO in LAW med MXen plasti smo povečali kapacitivno stabilnost pri večji hitrosti skeniranja, medtem ko smo s termično obdelavo MXen/tekstilnih elektrod v atmosferi amonijaka pri 700 °C dosegli več kot trikratno povečanje specifične kapacitivnosti (1,373 F/cm² v primerjavi z 0,38 F/cm² pri osnovni elektrodi). Kot končni rezultat smo razvili simetričen superkondenzator (SCS6-700) z gostoto energije 14,45 μWh/cm² ter s tem dokazali, da imajo razvite MXen/tekstilne elektrode velik potencial kot elektrokemične komponente za napajanje nosljivih elektronskih naprav.Electrically conductive textiles hold great potential for the development of wearable electronic devices, but their broader adoption remains limited due to the lack of power sources that are sufficiently flexible, stable, and powerful. Recently, significant progress has been made in developing flexible textile supercapacitors functionalized with nanoparticles, particularly Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXenes, which exhibit high electrical conductivity, a specific capacitance, and compatibility with various textile substrates. Despite these promising properties, their implementation remains challenging due to uneven particle deposition, problems with stacking, limited performance, and insufficient durability on textile substrates. This presents an essential research challenge in the development of advanced power solutions for smart textiles. This doctoral dissertation focuses on the development of electrically conductive textile materials modified with Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXene nanoparticles for use in flexible electrochemical energy storage devices. In comparison with reference studies, where a small-sized MAX phase precursor (40 µm) was used for synthesis, in our work, we synthesized Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXene nanoparticles from a larger MAX phase (100 µm) under modified etching conditions. The prepared 2D nanoparticles formed stable colloidal dispersions (ζ-potential ≤ −40 mV), suitable for deposition onto cellulose fabrics. By optimizing the process, we produced particles of larger dimensions (with a hydrodynamic diameter up to 2723 nm compared to 1422 nm in the reference sample), improved dispersion stability (a 48% decrease in absorbance after 30 days compared to 68% in the reference sample), and achieved higher yield and electrical conductivity (12.3 kS/cm compared to 8.6 kS/cm in the reference sample). By depositing Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXene nanoparticles onto cotton fabric using a dip-coating process, we investigated the effect of particle size on the surface distribution and on the electrical conductivity of the modified textiles. Contact profilometry and electrical resistance measurements demonstrated that larger particles, prepared under optimized etching conditions, enabled the formation of a more homogeneous and conductive layer. Furthermore, we studied the durability of the coatings after multiple washing cycles (up to 20 times) and confirmed that the application of polymeric protective coatings (PUR, AR, TECT) enhanced particle durability without significantly compromising textile flexibility or functionality. By introducing HrGO and LAW between MXene layers or applying thermal treatment to MXene-modified textile electrodes, we reduced particle restacking, thereby increasing the interlayer spacing, specific surface area, and electrochemical accessibility of active sites. Electrochemical characterization (CV, GCD, and EIS) revealed the pseudocapacitive behaviour of the MXene/textile electrodes, with performance strongly dependent on the treatment methods used. The incorporation of HrGO and LAW between the MXene layers enhanced the capacitive stability at higher scan rates, while the thermal treatment of the MXene/textile electrodes in an ammonia atmosphere at 700°C resulted in more than a threefold increase in the specific capacitance (1.373 F/cm² compared to 0.38 F/cm² for the untreated electrode). As a final outcome, we developed a symmetric supercapacitor (SCS6-700) with an energy density of 14.45 μWh/cm², thereby demonstrating that the engineered MXene/textile electrodes have great potential as electrochemical components for powering wearable electronic devices
