Controversy of Women's Leadership in Islam: Muhammadiyah's Perspective
Abstract
This article examines the leadership of women in Islam from the perspective of Muhammadiyah. The theme has always generated both support and opposition among the Muslim community. The central point of debate regarding women's leadership in Islam revolves around a hadith narrated by Abu Bakrah, stating that a community will not prosper if led by a woman. The result of this research is that Muhammadiyah has decided that women are allowed to become leaders, starting from school principals, directors, or even presidents. They believe there is no explicit text that clearly prohibits women from being leaders. Regarding the hadith, Muhammadiyah interprets it contextually based on historical analysis. At that time, women held a very weak position in society, casting doubts on their ability to lead a community institution. Additionally, they did not receive adequate education, resulting in limited experience and knowledge. Therefore, in the present era, if a woman has the capacity to be a leader, it is considered permissible.

MENGUATKAN KARAKTER JUJUR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL
This study aims to study the effect of applying contextual mathematics learning models to strengthening students' honest character. In education, strengthening honest character is an important aspect in forming a good personality and strong moral integrity. Honest character helps students take responsibility for their actions, build trust with others, and cultivate positive ethical values. This study used a quasi-experimental research design with a pretest-posttest control group. The two groups of learning models, namely the contextual learning model and the conventional model, were compared in terms of scores obtaining the student's honest character questionnaire. The results of the t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups, with the contextual learning model group having a higher honest character angle acquisition score than the conventional model group. This shows that the use of contextual learning models has greater potential in improving students' honest character compared to conventional approaches. The implication of this research is the importance of considering the use of contextual learning strategies to develop students' honest character, not only in the field of mathematics, but also in other aspects of their lives
Improving Critical Thinking Skills of Prospective Biology Teacher Students through Ethnoscience-Based Biology Learning
Ethnoscience is one of the activities in transforming indigenous science into scientific science that can be implemented in the biology learning process. The implementation of the ethnoscience stage in biology learning perhaps can improve students' critical thinking skills, which is the aim of this research. This research is experimental research using a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population consisted of 36 students. The sample selection used a random sampling technique consisting of 2 classes (experimental and control), each class consisting of 18 students. Research data was obtained through pretest and posttest. There are 10 questions with 5 indicators of critical thinking skills through a minimal structure essay test. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills in understanding concepts that integrate native community knowledge into scientific knowledge through the ethnoscience stage compared to critical thinking skills that do not go through ethnoscience-based learning in biology learning. Therefore, ethnoscience-based learning is recommended to be applied in the learning process in other subjects such as biotechnology and bioappliance to help improve critical thinking skills and other skills in simplifying content-rich biological material
Community-Based Critical Literacy Practices: A Reflective Study of Literacy Implementation in School
This article examines critical literacy practices carried out by the informal education community thoughtfully and potentially so that they can be applied to developing the school literacy movement program. Statistically, 95.66% of Indonesia's population can read, but on the other hand, the reading literacy score in the PISA study is still below average. So far, there have been different perspectives regarding literacy as a reading activity and literacy as an activity to process information. These differences result in different interpretations and attitudes in processing information in a text. Critical literacy relates reading analysis skills to the realities faced by students. This study aimed to find patterns of critical literacy carried out by the Ngampar Boekoe community and Jamaah Maiyah Al Manhal about the inherent development of the school literacy movement program. The research method used is qualitative with an auto-ethnographic approach. The data comes from the researcher's personal experience, observation, in-depth interviews and artefacts. Data analysis uses triangulation with a bottom-up pattern to find critical literacy formulas and can be reflected in the school literacy movement program. The results found are in the form of alternative formulations which consist of critical material that can develop students' critical power, dialectical methods filled with a sense of trust, and quality-based evaluation using response journal instruments and written works. The results of this study can be used as policy-making considerations for relevant stakeholders to build the qualifications of a literate society
ANALISIS REGULASI EMOSI NEGATIF SISWA LAKI-LAKI
When entering adolescence, individuals experience several psychological and physiological changes. One of the psychological changes that occur during adolescence is socio-emotional change, where adolescents have relatively high emotional tension, such as several incidents of disputes and fights between students, which indicates a lack of ability to regulate and control the negative emotions that exist in them. This study aims to describe the ability of male students at MTs Siulak Gedang to regulate negative emotions. Quantitative research with a descriptive quantitative approach was chosen for this study, and questionnaires were used to obtain information from the respondents. The results obtained are generally seen from the acquisition of the average indicator score: (1) Able to manage positive and negative emotions, where this indicator obtains an average value of 2.95, which means it is included in the high category; (2) Able to realize and control emotions automatically, this indicator also obtains an average value that is also included in the high category, which is equal to 2.96, and in the last indicator (3) Being able to deal with stress from problems encountered also obtains high results, where in this indicator students get the average value of 3.04.Individuals when entering adolescence experience many changes psychologically and physiologically. Evaluation of TPACK Competencies Based on Gender, Education and Years in Teaching of Mathematics Lecturers in Indonesia
This study evaluates the ability of mathematics lecturers in Indonesian universities to use TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). It uses a Sequential Explanatory research method that integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches. The findings indicate that overall, the TPACK skills of mathematics lecturers in Indonesia are at a very good level (85,6%). The questionnaire data showed that the aspects of gender, length of teaching, and level of education had average scores of 85.2%, 85.5%, and 86.1%, respectively. Students' responses to lecturers' TPACK were also high, with an average questionnaire score of 85.1%. Further analysis showed no significant difference in the TPACK ability of mathematics lecturers based on gender, years of teaching, or level of education. However, partial analysis showed that female lecturers' CK and PK components were superior to male lecturers. This indicates a significant effect of gender partially on lecturers' TPACK. At the same time, the length of teaching and level of education does not have a significant impact either partially or jointly on the TPACK ability of mathematics lecturers in Indonesia. This study provides in-depth insights into the factors that influence the TPACK of mathematics lecturers, with important implications for professional development and improving the quality of learning in the Indonesian higher education contex

Behavior Modification Psychosynthesis vs Spiritual Perspective: A Comparative Synthesis Analysis of Counseling Approaches
This research aims to conduct a comprehensive literature analysis, employing a comparative synthesis process, to elucidate the distinctive features of two counseling approaches rooted in the transpersonal psychology paradigm. The objective is to scrutinize, compare, and synthesize the perspectives, focal points, techniques, and outcomes inherent in these two transpersonal approaches. This endeavor is imperative in light of the growing demand for therapeutic methodologies grounded in spiritual dimensions and belief systems encompassing forces beyond the confines of human material existence. The employed methodology involves a thorough literature study, culminating in the synthesis of the two transpersonal paradigms. The resultant synthesis is intended to serve as a robust reference for forthcoming therapeutic counseling practices. By doing so, it aims to contribute to the ongoing evolution of more specialized counseling models within an expanding transpersonal paradigm. This synthesis, in turn, is poised to serve as a cornerstone for counseling models that transcend the constraints of materialism and modernisThis research aims to conduct a comprehensive literature analysis, employing a comparative synthesis process, to elucidate the distinctive features of two counseling approaches rooted in the transpersonal psychology paradigm.
