The Students' Skills in Solving Mathematics Open-Ended Problems Based on Cognitive Style Backgrounds
No full textDifferences in students' cognitive styles cause differences in accepting and managing learning and connecting experiences into learning. Differences in students' cognitive styles also cause differences in mathematical problem-solving skills. This research aims to describe students' skills in solving mathematics open-ended problems in terms of differences in cognitive styles, namely Field Independent (FI) and Field Dependent (FD). This research is descriptive qualitative research that involved four eight-grade students at a private junior high school in Sukoharjo, Central Java, Indonesia as subjects who were selected based on differences in cognitive styles. Cognitive style data was collected through a cognitive style questionnaire while students' mathematical problem-solving skills were revealed through tests and interviews. The data was analyzed to identify the fulfillment of indicators of mathematical problem-solving skills according to Polya, which include understanding the problems, preparing plans, implementing plans, and looking back. The results showed that field independent subjects had better mathematical problem solving abilities than field dependent subjects. Field independent subjects fulfill all indicators of mathematical problem-solving skills, while field dependent subjects only fulfill indicators of understanding the problems. This research can be used as a reference in designing learning strategies that suit all students' cognitive styles to improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap konformitas teman sebaya melalui pendekatan eksperimen dengan rancangan the one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 10 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diungkap melalui angket model skala likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap konformitas teman sebaya pada siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa layanan bimbingan kelompok

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Reality counseling in helping male perpetrators of sexual violence overcome identity conflicts, modify maladaptive behavior, and improve their adaptation skills. This case study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and participant observation to analyze the effectiveness of Reality counseling for a perpetrator of male sexual violence against men. The study results showed that this therapy was successful in changing the perpetrator's behavior and emotional responses, and contributed to his emotional well-being while reducing the risk of relapse. Membangun Jembatan Menuju Kesuksesan: Strategi Efektif dalam Bimbingan dan Konseling Karir
Get PDFThis research aims to conduct a literature review related to effective strategies in career guidance and counseling. The research method chosen in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Data collection was carried out by documenting and reviewing all articles related to effective strategies in career guidance and counseling in the period 2020-2024. The articles used in this study were 12 accredited national journal articles obtained from the Google Scholar database using the Publish or Perish application. Based on this research, it is found that there are various strategies applied in career guidance and counseling services. These strategies include the application of theories such as Holland and Trait-and-Factor, modeling technique-based approaches, self-management, group counseling, and the use of interactive digital media. Each strategy contributes significantly to students' career development, both in terms of decision-making maturity, career motivation, and life skills that are relevant to the needs of the world of work
Pemahaman Peserta Didik Mengenai Dampak Penggunaan Gadget
Get PDFThis research was prompted by observations of students exhibiting various unfocused behaviors during class, such as playing games, taking photos, and using social media. Additionally, some students struggled with socializing and maintaining concentration while learning. The study aimed to describe students' understanding of: 1) the positive impacts of gadget use, and 2) the negative impacts of gadget use. Employing a quantitative descriptive analysis method, this research included a population of 42 students. Total sampling was used to select participants, and data was collected via questionnaires. The findings reveal that students' understanding of the positive impacts of gadget use was in the "fairly high" category, with 64.29% of respondents demonstrating this level of understanding. Similarly, their understanding of the negative impacts of gadget use was also categorized as "fairly high," at 88.10%. Overall, the study conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Sungai Limau, Padang Pariaman Regency, found that students' understanding of the impacts of gadget use was "fairly high," with a combined percentage of 88.10%. This indicates that most students have a good grasp of both the positive and negative consequences of using gadgets. Nevertheless, there's still an opportunity to further educate students on how to use gadgets wisely to minimize potential negative effect

No full textThis study contains the specialty of the closing of surah al-Baqarah verses 284-286. The last verse of the closing of al-Baqarah in addition to having a message in its content, it also has its own impression for Muslims. This verse is often read during zhikr, tahlil, and often also read when finished praying. This study uses two books of tafsir, namely tafsir as-Sa'di by as-Sa'di and tafsir Shafwatut Tafasir by Muhammad Ali Ash-Shabuni. Of these two books of interpretation, when viewed from the systematics of interpretation has a difference. As-Sa'di interprets the verses one by one. While ash-Shabuni interprets by grouping these three verses, but there is a cut in verse 285 with 286, but ash- Shabuni does not bring up the theme of the group of verses. In the interpretation of as -Sa'di he interpreted by bringing up the aspect ofbalaghahn only, while in the interpretation ofash-Shabuni, he brought up munasabah, lughah, asbabun nuzul, tafsir, balaghah and faidah in his interpretation. In this case, the author is interested in further discussing these two books of interpretation related to Q.S. Al-Baqarah: 284-286 by looking at the interpretation practices carried out by as-Sa'di and Ali-Ash-Shabuni with the title Interpretation of As-Sa'di and 'Ali Ash-Shabuni. This study uses literature research method on the book Tafsir al-Karim al-Rahman fi Tafsir Kalam al-Manan by as-Sa'di and tafsir Shafwatut Tafasir by Muhammad Ali Ash-Shabuni. As-Sa'di and Ali Ash-Shabuni both explain the aspect of balaghah in their tafsir. In addition, As-Sa'di and Ali Ash-Shabuni also both explain the aspect ofmunasabah verse. When viewed from the difference, tafsir Sa'adi interprets the verse very concisely and short. In contrast to Ali Ash- Shabuni in tafsir Shafwatut Tafasir, the explanation of the meaning is ijmali and tahlili at once. Ali Ash-Shabuni also explains the munasabah of the verse, lughah, asbabun nuzul, tafsir balaghah and its faidah

However, not a few households are unhappy due to the lack of knowledge of married couples about how to form a household that is sakinah, mawadah wa rahmah according to the instructions taught in the Quran. In addition, many families do not run harmoniously due to the lack of knowledge of the male and female towards their respective rights and responsibilities towards their spouses. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relevance of Quranic verses on the rights and duties of husband and wife based on the principles of tafsir Al-Ahkam, This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature analysis and literature study, The type of data in this study will be collected from various sources, including books, scientific journals, laws and regulations, and other related documents. The results of this study show that the verse of Al-Quran surat Al-Baqarah verse 228 has relevance and is appropriate to the rights and duties of husband and wife in the family household

Dalam perjalanan itu ditemukan banyak benda cagar budaya yang tidak terawat dengan baik, hal ini terbukti sudah banyak benda cagar budaya yang rusak, bahkan lokasi cagar budaya tersebut tidak terawat dan kotor. Melalui permasalahan yang dipaparkan di atas penulis ingin melihat sejauh mana partisipasi masyarakat di sekitar benda cagar budaya yang ada di Batusangkar sehingga benda cagar budaya tersebut dapat terjaga dengan baik. Hasil pengabdian yang dilakukan bahwa Benda Cagar Budaya di Batusangkar secara umum untuk mendapatkan perhatian dari masyarakat setempat. Adapun alasan dari masyarakat untuk tidak ikut serta dalam pelestariannya di Batusangkar karena adanya pemahaman masyarakat tentang yang menjaga benda cagar budaya adalah orang yang sudah ditetapkan oleh pihak BPCB, tidak ikut lagi untuk membersikan dan menjaganya. Sayangnya, dewasa ini peran tersebut tidak begitu terasa dan masjid-masjid terkesan hanya berfungsi untuk mengurusi kepentingan transenden ibadah shalat lima waktu saja, termasuk masjid-masjid di Kelurahan Jumapolo. Oleh karena itu, Seminar Masjid dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman manajemen fungsi masjid dan sebagai upaya untuk memakmurkan masjid menjadi sebagaimana fungsinya di zaman Nabi Muhammad. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode seminar pemberdayaan yang memungkinkan instruktur memberikan gambaran solusi permasalahan, melakukan dialog interaktif, dan memberikan materi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mitra pengabdian. Pendekatan design thinking dipilih untuk memberikan solusi tepat melalui tahap problem space untuk mengidentifikasi masalah, tantangan, yang dihadapi mitra; dan solution space untuk merancang berbagai solusi atas kondisi yang ada. Seminar terselenggara di Masjid Yamp Jumapolo dan dihadiri oleh para takmir masjid yang ada di Kelurahan Jumapolo sebagai mitra pengabdian. Hasilnya, peningkatan pemahaman takmir masjid, optimalisasi sumber daya sekitar masjid, dan perluasan media dakwah melalui media online mampu membantu para takmir masjid dalam dalam memakmurkan masjid. Implementasi Media Aplikasi Quizizz Terhadap Hasil Belajar pada Teks Negosiasi Siswa SMK Pemda Rantauprapat
Get PDFThis activity aims to analyze the effect of using the Quizizz application on student learning outcomes on negotiation text material. Quizizz is a game-based learning application that can be used to create interactive and interesting quizzes. This research was conducted in several stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the use of Quizizz significantly increased students' motivation and understanding of negotiation text material. Students became more active and motivated in learning, and showed an increase in participation and learning outcomes. The immediate feedback from Quizizz helped students understand and correct errors in real time. It was also found that Quizizz supports student-centered learning, by constructivist and behaviorism theories. However, constraints such as device availability and internet connection need to be considered to optimize the use of this application. It is recommended that schools ensure adequate technological support and provide training to teachers regarding the use of Quizizz. Gradual implementation and periodic evaluation are needed to ensure the effectiveness and adaptation of students to this learning method.
