    Boosting Students Critical Thinking in High School: Project- Based Learning on Global Warming

    The low critical thinking skills in chemistry learning is an issue that requires special attention from teachers. These skills are crucial for preparing a generation capable of competing globally and directly impacting student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the project-based learning model on global warming material on the critical thinking skills of high school students. This quantitative study employs a quasi-experimental research design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The population of this study consists of 62 students from class X Science at SMAIT AI-Fityan Kubu Raya. Through the purposive sampling technique, class X B, which consists of 33 students, was selected as the sample. Pretest-posttest questions were used as data collection tools to assess students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes, while observation sheets were used to evaluate student activities during the learning process. Data analysis involved normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired sample T-tests, and n-gain analysis. The results showed that students' critical thinking skills, based on the average pretest score of 46.5, increased to 89.90 in the posttest, with the percentage increase generated by the PjBL model being 92.67%. Therefore, PjBL is very effective as a learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills on global warming

    IMPLEMENTASI KONSELING KELOMPOK UNTUK MENGATASI PRAKTIK BULLYING

    Masalah bullying pada peserta didik saat ini belum banyak menjadi perhatian dalam ruang pendidikan yang semakin memprihatinkan. Dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat implementasi konseling kelompok sebagai upaya penyelesaian masalahan bullying pada siswa melalui penelitian lapangan (field research). Di dalamnya peneliti mencoba menguraikan pandangan berpikir yang menekankan pada fokus pengalaman subjektif melalui observasi terdapat naskah wawancara, catatan lapangan, foto, memo, dan dokumen lainnya, dengan menggunakan analisis Miles dan Huberman seperti reduction data (reduksi data), display data (penyajian data) dan verifikasi data (kesimpulan). Hasil lapangan menunjukkan bahwa penyelesaian praktik bullying melalui konseling kelompok dikemas dalam empat sesi yaitu: Sesi I pembentukan  kelompok. Sesi II peralihan, bertujuan agar terjadi umpan balik, kedekatan emosional antara peserta didik dengan konselor serta proses identifikasi masalah yang dihadapi peserta didik. Sesi III kegiatan berisi model materi diantaranya: model konseling kelompok berbasis pendekatan persuasif, model konseling kelompok berbasis pendekatan klasikal, model konseling berbasis pendekatan sosial, model konseling kelompok berbasis pendekatan Islam. Sesi IV penutup. Tujuan secara umum implementasi konseling kelompok untuk mengembalikan hubungan pikiran dan perasaan yang negatif kepada hubungan pikiran dan perasaan yang positif dalam membentuk prilaku baru sehingga ketika selanjutnya berhadapan dengan masalah, peserta didik mampu menemukan alternatif-alternatif positif dalam pencapaian jalan keluar.  Kendala yang dihadapi diantaranya kendala internal peserta didik dan kendala internal konselor

    Latar belakang penenlitian ini yaitu adanya indikasi kecerdasan siswa yang masih rendah dan perlu untuk ditingkatkan, sehingga penelitian ini ubertujuan untukmeningkatkan kecerdasan emosi siswa melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui pendekatan eksperimen dengan rancangan the one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 10 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diungkap melalui angket model skala likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap kecerdasan emosi siswa

    Penggunaan Aplikasi Instrumentasi pada Pelayanan Bimbingan dan Konseling di Sekolah

    Abstrak. Lembaga pendidikan merupakan lembaga yang menyediakan berbagai pelayanan bagi peserta didik untuk membantu perkembangan potensi yang optimal. Salah satunya adalah pelayanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) yang merupakan bagian integral dari upaya untuk membantu mengembangkan potensi peserta didik seperti bakat, minat, dan kemampuannya. Salah satu pelayanan yang perlu dilakukan oleh guru BK adalah pelayanan BK dengan kegiatan pendukung, yaitu aplikasi instrumentasi. Namun, tidak semua guru BK memahami penggunaan aplikasi instrumentasi dengan kaitannya pada penempatan dan penyaluran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan aplikasi instrumentasi dalam layanan dan penyaluran di sekolah. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan penelitian kepustakaan. Temuan pada penelitian ini adalah penggunaan aplikasi instrumentasi harus dilakukan oleh guru BK/konselor yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan S-1 BK, mengikuti pelatihan aplikasi instrumentasi, memahami petunjuk penggunaan dan pelaporan instrumentasi, memahami tahapan instrument mulai dari Koleksi Instrumen; Perencanaan dan Penyiapan Instrumen; Pengadministrasian instrument; pengelolaan dan pemaknaan jawaban responden; Pelaporan atau Penyampaian hasil instrument; Evaluasi;Tindak lanjut atau Penggunaan hasil instrument; dan Pelaksana

Effective management practices involve planning, organizing, and overseeing counseling services to ensure they align with students' needs and deliver effective, efficient, and high-quality support. Supervision provides counselors with essential guidance, monitors service delivery quality, and promotes professional development through skill improvement and problem-solving. This collaborative approach fosters communication, accountability, and continuous program improvement. Ultimately, strong management and supervision empower counselors to deliver high-quality services that benefit students, parents, and school staffPengelolaan dan pengawasan dalam bimbingan dan konseling sebagai upaya untuk menjamin mutu pelayanan dan keberhasilan program konseling. Manajemen Bimbingan dan Konseling Meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengendalian, dan pengambilan keputusan untuk mencapai tujuan Bimbingan dan Konseling yang diinginkan. Pengelolaan dan supervisi Bimbingan dan Konseling juga penting dalam meningkatkan koordinasi dan kerjasama antara konselor, siswa, orang tua, dan staf sekolah untuk memberikan layanan yang lebih baik. Pengelolaan dan pengawasan Bimbingan dan Konseling juga dapat menjamin akuntabilitas pelayanan Bimbingan dan Konseling, sehingga program Bimbingan dan Konseling dapat dievaluasi dan diperbaiki berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai. Dalam konteks manajemen dan supervisi Bimbingan dan Konseling, konselor harus memiliki kemampuan manajemen dan supervisi yang baik untuk mengelola layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling secara efektif. Konselor harus terus belajar dan mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam manajemen dan supervisi, serta mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik dengan klien dan pihak terkait lainnya.     Married career women often have their own challenges in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. Not only prioritizing work matters, career women must also prioritize their duties and responsibilities as housewives. So the purpose of writing this article is to find out what problems are often experienced by career women who have dual roles as women who work outside the home and as housewives and how to overcome them using feminist counseling. The method in this research uses library research by collecting various articles related to the topic discussed. The research results show that by dividing and organizing good time management by women who have multiple roles, they can overcome the problems they experience and by providing guidance and counseling services, counselors can help through feminist counseling. Feminist counseling services help career women to have confidence in their abilities in carrying out their duties as career women and housewives.     Development of Interactive Learning Media Based on Powerpoint and Desmos Applications For Curved Surface Solid Geometry

    This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on PowerPoint and Desmos applications for studying curved surface solid geometry. The approach used is Research and Development (R&D), focusing on data collection through questionnaires to measure the effectiveness of the developed media. Three validators were involved in the validation process to ensure the accuracy and validity of the content and instructional media structure. Subsequently, the media was piloted with 10 tenth-grade students from SMA Negeri 1 as part of evaluating its practicality and ease of understanding. The research findings indicate that the interactive PowerPoint-based learning media and Desmos application developed by the researcher meet highly valid criteria. Validation by three independent validators confirms that the content and presentation of the media align with expected standards. Furthermore, student feedback during the pilot study indicates that the media is perceived as practical and easy to comprehend, facilitating the teaching and learning process more effectively. Thus, this development of learning media contributes positively to enhancing the quality of learning curved surface solid geometry through the integration of relevant and innovative technologies

    This research is motivated by the importance of developing worksheets (LKPD) that are tailored to the demands of the technological era. Therefore, the researcher developed an electronic LKPD based on Liveworksheet with the cooperative model of Numbered Head Together (NHT). This development was carried out to enhance students' mathematical problem-solving skills in the topic of curved surface solids. The researcher employed the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model, which is a systematic, structured, directed, and planned model. The research utilized a questionnaire as the research instrument, which was distributed to ninth-grade students in a junior high school (SMP). The questionnaire aimed to gather information about the characteristics of the students and their needs regarding the developed LKPD. Based on the analysis of the needs, the researcher successfully developed an electronic LKPD using the Liveworksheet platform. This LKPD product offers the advantages of efficiency and effectiveness, incorporating audio-visual elements and student discussions to enhance understanding and problem-solving abilities. The development is expected to provide an interactive and engaging learning experience, helping students to develop their mathematical problem-solving skill

    This research was conducted in an effort to seek alternatives for developing the characteristics of the Paket B study group as part of the Non-Formal Education (PLS) unit. More specifically, this study aims to analyze: (1) the condition of the Paket B study group in Siulak Kerinci District, (2) efforts to develop the characteristics of Non-Formal Education study groups, (3) the roles that PLS personnel can play in developing the characteristics of the Paket B study group. The research method used is a qualitative method in the form of expost-facto. The required data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies. There were 16 informants. The research results show that the development of the characteristics of the Paket B Study Group in Siulak Kerinci District has experienced significant improvement, especially in terms of quality. Management efforts to develop the characteristics of the Paket B study group were carried out by providing motivation to the learners and the surrounding community. Similarly, there were improvements in the quality of management, learning resources, and the provision of facilities and infrastructure. The roles played by PLS personnel include acting as motivators, facilitators, dynamizers, and communicators

    It is imperative to provide early financial management education, particularly for a generation that has grown up with access to resources that have made them susceptible to consumerism. This service activity aims to educate students of SDN 038/XI Sungai Full City about the importance of knowledge of managing finances from an early age. The participants in this activity consisted of 46 students, divided into classes III and IV. Activities consist of two stages, namely preparation and implementation. The results of the activity show that students' knowledge is still very limited in relation to financial management. Students are very enthusiastic about participating in activities; this is evident from their activeness in discussion and question-and-answer sessions.Edukasi pengelolaan keuangan sejak dini perlu dilakukan, terutama pada generasi yang telah dikelilingi oleh fasilitas yang membuat mereka rentan terhadap sikap konsumtif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi siswa SDN 038/XI kota Sungai Penuh tentang pentingnya pengetahuan mengelola keuangan sejak dini. Peserta kegiatan ini terdiri atas 46 siswa yang terbagi atas kelas III dan IV. Kegiatan terdiri atas 2 tahapan, yaitu persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa masih sangat terbatas terkait dengan pengelolaan keuangan. Siswa sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan, hal ini terbukti dari aktifnya mereka dalam sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab
