MODERASI BERAGAMA DI PONDOK PESANTREN : STUDI DI AZZAKARIYAH MERANGIN
This research is motivated by the emergence of conservative, intolerant, and extremist religious views in responding to local wisdom, as well as a lack of national commitment. The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the current condition of Pesantren Azzakariyah in Muara Panco Village, Renah Pembarap District, Merangin Regency; (2) to analyze the implementation of religious moderation values at the pesantren; and (3) to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of religious moderation values. This study employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using triangulation techniques.
The findings indicate that: (1) religious moderation at Pesantren Azzakariyah is reflected in attitudes of tasamuh (tolerance), national commitment, al-musawah (anti-discrimination and non-violence), and acceptance of local culture; (2) the implementation of religious moderation values is carried out in three stages: planning, implementation—through formal learning in the madrasah, classical Islamic book studies (kitab kuning), Arabic language training, and extracurricular activities—and evaluation; This study recommends strengthening collaboration between pesantren and the local community in promoting religious moderation values, as well as optimizing the role of digital media as an inclusive and tolerant religious education platform
Strategi CAKEP dalam Pendampingan Pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka di SBLN 1 Sungai Pagu
This study aims to analyze the impact of the CAKEP strategy implementation in assisting the Merdeka Curriculum implementation at SLB N 1 Sungai Pagu. The CAKEP strategy, comprising five main components: Coaching, Execution Arrangement, Collaboration, Expert Involvement, and Limitless Care, was applied to enhance inclusive education quality for students with special needs. The results indicate that this approach effectively improved teacher competence, parent involvement, and community support in creating a more conducive learning environment. Increased teacher motivation, optimized resource utilization, and external support from psychologists and community leaders significantly enhanced the curriculum’s effectiveness. These findings highlight the importance of cross-sector partnerships in inclusive education and offer a potential model for other resource-limited schools.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak implementasi strategi CAKEP dalam pendampingan pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka di SLB N 1 Sungai Pagu. Strategi CAKEP, yang terdiri dari lima komponen utama yaitu Coaching, Atur Eksekusi, Kolaborasi, Expert, dan Peduli Tanpa Batas, diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan inklusif bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru, keterlibatan orang tua, serta dukungan komunitas dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih kondusif. Peningkatan motivasi guru, pemanfaatan sumber daya yang lebih optimal, dan dukungan dari pihak eksternal seperti ahli psikologi dan tokoh masyarakat berhasil meningkatkan efektivitas Kurikulum Merdeka. Temuan ini mendukung pentingnya kemitraan lintas sektor dalam pendidikan inklusif dan dapat dijadikan model bagi sekolah lain yang memiliki keterbatasan sumber daya
OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY OR NON-PERFORMING LOANS? ANALYSIS OF SHARIA BANK PERFORMANCE 2015–2022
This study aims to analyse the influence of credit and operational risks on banking performance in Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) from 2015–2022. Credit risk is measured by the Non-Performing Financing (NPF) ratio. In contrast, operational risk is measured by the Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) ratio, and banking performance is measured by Return on Assets (ROA). Using the multiple linear regression analysis method, this study found that credit risk (NPF) did not significantly affect ROA. In contrast, operational risk (BOPO) significantly affected ROA—the results of the simultaneous test show that the two independent variables together jeopardise the bank's performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) showed that credit and operational risk could explain 12.2% of the variation in ROA. At the same time, the rest was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings indicate that Islamic bank management needs to focus on managing operational risks to improve efficiency and profitability, although credit risk management is also essential. This study contributes to developing the risk management literature of Islamic banking and suggests further research by considering additional variables
The Influence of Teacher Performance, Competence, and Motivation in Improving the Quality of Education in Islamic Educational Institutions: An Analysis with the Smart PLS Method
This study aims to explore the influence of competence, work motivation, and managerial strategies on teacher performance and their impact on the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. The focus of the research is directed at integrated Islamic madrassas and schools, which are committed to maintaining the quality of education amid limited resources. The Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was used to analyze the causal relationship between these variables, with data obtained through surveys from teachers in several Islamic educational institutions. The results of the study show that teacher competence has a significant effect on teaching performance, which ultimately improves the quality of education. In addition, work motivation plays an important mediating role, where continuous career development can maintain teacher commitment. Managerial strategies implemented by school leaders also contribute positively to increasing productivity and teacher focus in teaching. This study concludes that the combination of competence, motivation, and adequate managerial support is a key factor in improving teacher performance and education quality in Islamic educational institutions. The GeoGebra-Aided Visualization of Geometric Concepts in Bugisnese Traditional Musical Instruments Gendrang and Pui-pui
This study lies in the need to bridge school mathematics with local cultural heritage by emphasizing the relevance of the ethnomathematics framework in promoting contextual learning. Traditional musical instruments, such as Gendrang (Bugisnese drums) and Pui-pui (Bugisnese flutes), serve as cultural artifacts that can be explored through the lens of three-dimensional geometry. However, the integration of these cultural elements into mathematics education remains underexplored. This research aims to identify and model geometric concepts embedded in the two Bugisnese traditional musical instruments using GeoGebra as a visualization tool. Employing a qualitative ethnographic approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis involved identifying geometric shapes in the instruments and constructing mathematical models in GeoGebra. Findings reveal that Gendrang corresponds to a cylindrical shape, while Pui-pui resembles a conical shape. The volumes of both instruments were calculated using the concept of solids of revolution, and visualized interactively. The study concludes that the exploration of ethnomathematics through Bugisnese traditional musical instruments, supported by dynamic visualization in GeoGebra, enhances students’ understanding of three-dimensional geometry, fosters cultural appreciation, and reinforces the contextual relevance of mathematics in local traditions
Bimbingan Kelompok Teknik Permainan Ular Tangga Bermuatan Humor untuk Mengurangi Stres Akademik Siswa SMK
Academic stress is a common psychological state among students, particularly in Vocational High Schools, arising when academic demands overwhelm an individual's coping abilities. Left unmanaged, this stress can negatively affect students' psychological well-being and academic performance. This study aimed to develop a humorous "Snakes and Ladders" game and a group guidance service guide to help reduce academic stress levels in vocational high school students. The research employed the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model, encompassing needs analysis, product design, expert validation, limited testing, and field implementation. Research subjects included subject matter experts, media experts, potential users (guidance and counseling teachers), and students from SMK Negeri 13 Malang. Data collection tools consisted of validation sheets, evaluation questionnaires, and participant reflections. Results indicated an average score of 1.00, demonstrating that the developed game media and guides had a "very high" level of feasibility in terms of accuracy, usability, ease of use, and appeal. In conclusion, the humorous "Snakes and Ladders" game media and group guidance guides are highly suitable for reducing academic stress among vocational high school student
Kedudukan Hukum Tradisi Adat Keduhei pada Perkawinan Masyarakat Desa Sebukar Kabupaten Kerinci
The customary practice of keduhei sudih kawan in traditional marriage ceremonies in Sebukar Village is considered a fundamental and mandatory ritual. However, there are no positive legal norms that explicitly recognize customary traditions as formal requirements for the validity of marriage. This study aims to examine the legal status and provide a juridical analysis of the keduhei tradition in the context of Indonesian customary law. This study employs an empirical juridical approach, utilizing data collection methods that include observation and in-depth interviews with members of the Sebukar Village Customary Council (Lembaga Kerapatan Adat Desa, LKAD). This research is prescriptive, with data processed systematically through editing and analyzed qualitatively. The results show that keduhei not only functions as a complement to the ceremony but also as an important legal affirmation in marriage based on customary norms, so it has a strong legal position. However, some elements of the custom, such as certain requirements and sanctions, can conflict with the provisions of national law, so a balance between customary law and national law is needed to ensure its sustainability and legal coherence.
Kajian Semantik Kata Qadha dalam Al-Quran: Relevansinya terhadap Koping Religius di Era Modern
This study examines the semantic dimensions of the Qur’anic term qadha’ by analyzing its basic meanings, derivations, and contextual functions through syntagmatic and paradigmatic approaches. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research employs semantic analysis as its primary instrument, drawing data from classical and contemporary lexicons, tafsir works, and concordance-based occurrences of qadha’ in the Qur’an, which appear 56 times in various morphological forms. The syntagmatic analysis explores the relational meaning of qadha’ within its surrounding linguistic structures, revealing its functions in expressing divine decree, legal decisions, fulfillment, completion, and finalization of matters. The paradigmatic analysis compares qadha’ with semantically related terms such as amr, faradha, and atamma, as well as its antonyms like naqadha and ajjala, showing how semantic oppositions and equivalences contribute to the formation of its conceptual range. The findings indicate that qadha’ represents not merely a theological notion but a comprehensive semantic structure that affirms the absoluteness of God’s will in creation, legislation, lifespan, and the resolution of affairs. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that the semantic understanding of qadha’ has significant implications for religious coping, as the belief in divine decree fosters active acceptance, emotional regulation, spiritual connectedness, and resilience when facing psychological and existential pressures. In conclusion, the concept of qadha’ provides a theological foundation that reinforces positive religious coping strategies and remains relevant for addressing the uncertainties and stressors of modern life
Kemaslahatan Berciyay: Studi Etnografis pada Adat Pernikahan di Tanjung Harapan
Tradisi pernikahan di Indonesia mencerminkan kekayaan budaya yang sarat makna sosial dan spiritual, salah satunya adalah praktik berciyay pada masyarakat Tanjung Harapan, Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai maslahah yang terkandung dalam tradisi berciyay serta relevansinya dalam konteks sosial dan ajaran Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografis dan analisis menggunakan teori maslahah, melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara dengan tokoh adat, agama, dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berciyay berfungsi sebagai sarana penguatan solidaritas sosial, simbol perlindungan spiritual bagi pengantin, serta pengikat harmoni antarwarga, dan dapat dikategorikan sebagai maslahah tahsiniyyah dalam kerangka ‘urf shahih. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelestarian tradisi lokal dapat berjalan seiring dengan nilai-nilai Islam selama dilakukan secara kontekstual dan adaptif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dalam memperluas cakupan analisis maslahah dalam studi budaya lokal serta menawarkan pendekatan pelestarian tradisi yang tidak hanya normatif, tetapi juga kritis dan transformatif
Analysis of Communication Patterns and Teachers' Language Politeness in Improving Basic Literacy of Students in Senior High Schools (SMA) in Jambi City
Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi guru dan kesantunan berbahasa dalam meningkatkan literasi dasar siswa di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Jambi. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya literasi dasar siswa yang meliputi keterampilan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung, serta pola komunikasi guru yang kurang efektif yang cenderung satu arah dan kurangnya kesantunan berbahasa dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain survei, melibatkan 15 guru SMA di Kota Jambi yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi yang efektif, seperti komunikasi dua arah, instruksi yang jelas, dan umpan balik yang membangun, berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan literasi dasar siswa. Pola komunikasi tersebut meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi, kepercayaan diri, dan partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan literasi. Selain itu, kesantunan berbahasa guru, yang mencakup penggunaan bahasa yang penuh rasa hormat, menghargai, dan sesuai dengan norma sosial, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, meningkatkan motivasi, dan menumbuhkan ikatan emosional yang positif antara guru dan siswa. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kesantunan berbahasa sebagai bagian integral dari strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan literasi dasar siswa. Studi ini juga merekomendasikan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang pengaruh teknologi komunikasi dan peran lingkungan keluarga dalam mendukung literasi dasar siswa.
