    Development of Ular Tangga SIAGA Media as a Counseling Tool to Improve Interpersonal Communication

    Low levels of interpersonal communication skills among students frequently impede counseling effectiveness and social interaction in school settings. This research aimed to develop a counseling medium in the form of a board game, Ular Tangga SIAGA (SIAGA Snakes and Ladders), as an innovative tool to enhance students’ interpersonal communication, particularly aspects of openness and empathy. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In the analysis phase, field studies were conducted through questionnaires and interviews with several stakeholders at SMP Negeri 1 Loa Janan to identify communication barriers. The media was then designed and developed using Canva and Microsoft Word, based on the identified counseling needs. During the development phase, the prototype was refined and prepared for expert validation. The evaluation phase involved validation by a Guidance and Counseling (BK) teacher, language experts for the truth or dare cards, and material experts to determine the media’s feasibility. The results indicated high validity scores for content (90%), media (80%), and educational aspects (92.4%). Quantitative observations further showed improvements in students’ openness and empathy during counseling interactions. Overall, Ular Tangga SIAGA demonstrates strong pedagogical feasibility and offers a culturally responsive, engaging, and safe medium for facilitating interpersonal communication in school counseling practice

    Transformasi Ekonomi Digital dan Kinerja UMKM: Analisis Pengaruh Digitalisasi Akuntansi Terpadu: Digital Economic Transformation and MSME Performance: An Analysis of the Impact of Integrated Accounting Digitalization

    Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing an integrated digital accounting system on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Palembang City. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research employs a quantitative approach, with data collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 100 MSME actors. The analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0 software. Findings: The results reveal that the implementation of a digital accounting system has a positive and significant effect on performance, where 87% of the variation in MSME performance can be explained by the adoption of the digital accounting system, while the remaining variation is influenced by factors outside the model. Implications: The adoption of digital accounting can serve as a crucial strategy to enhance MSME competitiveness. From a policy perspective, government support is needed in the form of digital infrastructure provision, literacy programs, and technology-based accounting training

    Transparansi dan Akuntabilitas Laporan Kegiatan Organisasi Mahasiswa: Studi Kualitatif: Transparency and Accountability of Student Organization Activity Reports: A Qualitative Study

    Purpose: This study aims to examine the transparency and accountability of activity reports (LPJ) prepared by student organizations (ORMAWA) at the Nahdlatul Ulama College of Islamic Economics (STIESNU) Bengkulu. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Findings: Most student organizations prepare accountability reports as a formal form of responsibility; however, weaknesses were found in the transparency of financial information and accountability for the use of activity funds. Research Implications: To ensure that all student organization activities are conducted more fairly and transparently, the campus should provide regular training and intensive guidance for student organizations at STIESNU Bengkulu

    Purpose: This study aims to empirically examine the influence of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) on Financial Report Accuracy, Information Presentation Speed, and Tax Compliance among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sumbawa Regency. Design/Methodology/Approach: The research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design to explain the causal relationships between variables. The sample consists of 310 MSME actors in Sumbawa Regency selected using proportional stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings: The results show that Accounting Information Systems have a positive and significant effect on Financial Report Accuracy, Information Presentation Speed, and Tax Compliance. Collectively, the research model demonstrates moderate to strong predictive power. Research Implications: To improve the quality of financial reporting and fundamentally address tax compliance issues, interventions should focus on facilitating and accelerating the adoption of AIS. Investments in training, mentoring, and providing access to affordable AIS are essential strategies for building a strong foundation of financial governance, which in turn will enhance sustainable compliance and optimize the potential of regional tax revenues

    The transition and acceleration of technology have opened new portals in the fields of information and communication. This includes aspects of information in the social and religious fields. This transition creates a new horizon that must be included in the rapid flow of technology. Therefore, the distribution of religious messages through da'wah needs to be reconstructed so that the audience still gets fundamental implications. This study aims to see how the da'wah patterns of muslim influencers on social media can still influence the religious attitudes of generation Z in the era of disruption. Not stopping there, the study also touches on the message in Q. S. An-Nahl [16]: 125 through hermeneutic studies by Imam At-Thabari, Imam Al-Razy, Sayyid Qutb, Buya Hamka and Prof. Quraish Shihab as a guide to the ideal da'wah method for da'i and ulama in conveying their da'wah messages. Through qualitative methods, the study was designed using a library study approach. The findings of this study are that the da'wah method contained in Q. S. An-Nahl [16]: 125 is able to provide an expansive effect on the da'wah messages conveyed by religious influencers through social media. Three methods that comprehensively influence the da'wah carried out are the bil hikmah method (verses of the Koran), the bil mau'idhoh hasanah method (good advice) and the bil mujjadallah method (discussion, debate, dialogue). By using these three methods the audience will be more cooperative in accepting Islamic teaching

    Penguatan karakter kewirausahaan pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan langkah strategis dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda yang mandiri, kreatif, dan berdaya saing di dunia kerja maupun usaha. Salah satu aspek penting dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan adalah pemahaman mengenai manajemen pemasaran dan etika bisnis. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi manajemen pemasaran dan etika bisnis sebagai upaya penguatan karakter kewirausahaan pada siswa SMK Swasta 2 Mulia Medan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan pendekatan edukatif fan partisipatif. Materi yang diberikan mencakup konsep dasar manajemen pemasaran, strategi bauran pemasaran, pemasaran digital, serta prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis dalam praktik kewirausahaan. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta, serta observasi keaktifan siswa selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep pemasaran dan etika bisnis, serta tumbuhnya sikap positif seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan kreativitas dalam berwirausaha. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model edukasi kewirausahaan yang aplikatif dan berkelanjutan dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter wirausaha siswa SMK

    The Concept Of Education In Islamic Schools: A Resume Report

    This paper aim to identify the synthesis of education in the interpretation of thematic studies of the terms included in the connotation of education. This paper is the result of a literature review on terms that connote education in the Qur'an and al-Sunnah, namely tarbiyah, ta'lim, ta'dib, tadris, da'wah, irsyad, tadbir, tazkiyah, and uswah. This paper concludes that the nine terms that connote education in their respective contexts describe the concept of education in a complete synthesis, which is in line with the dynamics of humanity as God's representative on earth. The results of this study can be used to understand the nature of the terms included in the connotation of education and their implications for Islamic education

    Beyond Charity: The Transformative Role of Social Fiqh in Advancing Substantive Rights for Persons with Disabilities

    People with disabilities still do not get the same opportunities and special treatment according to the conditions experienced. Although the state guarantees equal rights for all citizens, its implementation for persons with disabilities is still not optimal, creating a gap between normative regulations and social reality. This research aims to analyze the issue through the perspective  of social fiqh, which is the paradigm of Islamic law that emphasizes justice, empathy, and social inclusion, using a qualitative approach with a literature study design. Data was collected from academic works, official documents, and relevant policies, then analyzed by content analysis techniques through the systematic review method. The focus of the analysis is directed at mapping the principles  of social fiqh that can be operationalized in answering the problem of marginalization of persons with disabilities. The results of the study show that the six main principles of social fiqh, namely al-'adālah (justice), at-tawādhu' (empathy), al-muwāsathah (social inclusion), ihyā' al-maṣāliḥ (empowerment), ḥifẓ al-nafs (care of the soul and mental health), and ta'līm wa tasyjīr (education and opportunity), not only provides theological legitimacy for the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, but can also be used as a practical framework to encourage inclusive policies, economic empowerment, and adaptive access to education. The findings of this research can be an input for the government as a policy maker to formulate regulations that are more equitable for people with disabilities so that they can fulfill their social rights. In addition, it can be an input to the general public to be fair, empathetic and provide opportunities for socialization for people with disabilities so that they get equality and treatment as their conditions

    A Case Study of Math Anxiety in High School Students: Assessment, Dynamics, and Intervention

    Mathematics anxiety is a pervasive issue among adolescents, often impairing academic performance and emotional well-being. This study investigates the psychological profile of an Indonesian high school student experiencing mathematics anxiety following an academic transition from the UK to Indonesia and evaluates the effectiveness of a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) intervention in reducing her anxiety. This research used a single-case qualitative design; data were gathered through psychological assessments (IST, DAT A5, SSCT, graphic tests), structured interviews with the participant, parents, and teachers, and behavioral observations. A five-session CBT intervention focusing on cognitive restructuring was conducted over two weeks. The assessment revealed average intellectual ability but significant cognitive distortions, physiological symptoms, and avoidance behaviors related to mathematics. Post-intervention findings demonstrated notable improvements in cognitive beliefs, emotional regulation, class participation, and help-seeking behavior. The participant, her teacher, and her mother all reported reduced anxiety and improved academic coping. The findings support the use of CBT as an effective and culturally adaptable approach for addressing mathematics anxiety in adolescents. The study emphasizes the role of cognitive patterns, emotional processes, and environmental influences in the development and resolution of academic anxiety. These insights are relevant for educators, school psychologists, and mental health professionals working in diverse educational settings. However, due to its single-case design and reliance on self-reported outcomes, the generalizability of the findings is limited and further research with larger and more diverse samples is recommended

    Efektivitas Konseling Kelompok Teknik Thought Stopping dalam Mengurangi Academic Burnout Siswa di SMP

    Academic burnout is a common issue among students, characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment due to excessive academic pressure. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group counseling services using the thought-stopping technique in reducing academic burnout among eighth-grade students at SMP Swasta PAB 3 Saentis. Using a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test post-test control group design, the study involved 20 students identified as having high to very high levels of academic burnout. Ten students were assigned to the experimental group, receiving group counseling with thought-stopping techniques, while the remaining ten in the control group received only informational services. Data were collected through a validated Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Independent Samples Test. The results showed a significant decrease in academic burnout scores in the experimental group (Wilcoxon Z = -2.805, p = 0.005), with most post-test scores falling into the low and moderate categories, while the control group remained in the moderate to high range. The difference between the two groups was also statistically significant (Kolmogorov-Smirnov Z = 1.789, p = 0.003). These findings indicate that group counseling using thought-stopping is effective in reducing academic burnout. The study suggests that incorporating the thought-stopping technique into school counseling programs can effectively enhance students' psychological well-being and reduce academic burnout. Practical implications include recommendations for school counselors to adopt thought-stopping as an intervention to address negative thought patterns contributing to burnout
