Pengembangan Augmented Reality Sebagai Media Simulasi Pada Mata Pelajaran IPAS Tata Surya di SMK Negeri 4 Palangkaraya
The rapid development of information and communication technology in the digital era has had a significant impact on various sectors, including education. However, the teaching of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) still often relies on textbooks and underutilizes interactive media such as Augmented Reality (AR). This reliance makes abstract topics, like the Solar System, difficult for students to understand. The lack of media variety and teaching methods also contributes to students' low interest and comprehension of the material. Therefore, this research aims to develop AR-based simulation media as a more engaging, interactive, and effective alternative to help students grasp the concepts of the Solar System.
This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method that consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development of the simulation media utilizes software such as Unity, Blender, and Vuforia technology to support Augmented Reality features. The developed product was validated by educational media experts and content specialists to ensure its feasibility in terms of both content and technical aspects. Subsequently, a limited trial was conducted with students from class X-GP to assess the practicality and appeal of the developed media.
The results of the study indicate that the AR simulation media on the topic of the Solar System is highly suitable for use in the learning process. Validation from experts shows that this media is categorized as "very feasible" in terms of content, visualization, and technical aspects. The limited trial in class X-GP at SMK Negeri 4 Palangka Raya demonstrated a significant improvement in students' understanding, with N-Gain scores falling within the "medium" to "high" categories. Additionally, students provided very positive feedback regarding this media, finding it engaging, interactive, easy to operate, and effective in helping them understand abstract material like the Solar System in a more concrete and enjoyable way compared to conventional methods that rely on textbooks. Thus, this AR-based simulation media is recommended as an alternative teaching resource to enhance the quality of the learning process for the Solar System material in the IPAS subject

Penguraian Sampah Organik di Bank Sampah Dharma Bakti melalui Budidaya Maggot Black Soldier Fly: Decomposing Organic Waste at the Dharma Bakti Waste Bank through Cultivating Black Soldier Fly Maggots
The Dharma Bakti Waste Bank in RT. 55, Muara Rapak Subdistrict, is one of the waste banks that remains active in managing community waste. However, the utilization of organic waste is still limited to compost production, while alternative management methods, such as Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggot cultivation, have not been optimized. This community service program aims to enhance the utilization of organic waste through BSF maggot cultivation as an alternative feed for livestock, particularly catfish, which are already being farmed by residents. The method used in this program began with an awareness session on the benefits of maggot cultivation, followed by the construction of BSF fly cages, as well as hands-on training and practice on cultivation techniques for residents. The evaluation was conducted by measuring the increase in residents’ understanding before and after the training, along with a community satisfaction survey regarding the activities carried out. The results indicate a 17.98% increase in residents' understanding of BSF maggot cultivation, reflecting the effectiveness of the education and training provided. Additionally, the community satisfaction survey showed that 90% of residents were very satisfied, while the remaining 10% were satisfied. This initiative concludes that, in addition to providing valuable learning experiences for residents, it also empowers them in maggot cultivation through education and training, enabling better optimization of organic waste processing into economically valuable resources

Empowering Diabetes Management through Nutritional Innovations: The Role of Golden Rice Cookies Enriched with Piper crocatum Extract
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a growing global health issue, with dietary management posing significant challenges for patients. The habit of consuming high-sugar and high-fat snacks, as observed at Bajeng Community Health Center, Gowa Regency, increases the risk of serious complications, including diabetic ulcers and cardiovascular diseases. This program aimed to develop and optimize Golden Rice Cookies, a healthy snack enriched with locally sourced Piper crocatum extract, as a nutritional alternative for DM patients. A participatory approach was employed, involving an initial analysis of partner conditions, product development through organoleptic and hedonic testing, and education on diabetes dietary management. Over three months, patients consumed Golden Rice Cookies, and outcomes were evaluated based on fasting blood glucose (FBG), body mass index (BMI), and dietary compliance levels. The results demonstrated that Golden Rice Cookies were well-received, with high satisfaction scores for taste, aroma, and texture (≥4 on a 5-point scale). Regular consumption significantly reduced FBG by an average of 29.9 mg/dL, BMI by 1.3 kg/m², and increased dietary compliance by 20.5%. The flavonoids and polyphenols in P. crocatum contributed to oxidative stress suppression, inflammation reduction, and modulation of key biomarkers such as MMP-9 and NGAL. This program successfully empowered DM patients to manage their condition through a sustainable and locally based nutritional innovation. This approach holds promise for replication in other regions with high diabetes prevalence to support more effective and sustainable diabetes management
