No full textFood preservation is a crucial aspect of the food industry, especially to extend shelf life, maintain quality, and ensure consumption safety. Preservation methods such as pasteurization and sterilization effectively inhibit the growth of pathogenic microorganisms without reducing the nutritional value of food. The UPPKA "Rizky Lancar" group in Pongangan Village, Semarang, has developed a business cultivating and processing oyster mushrooms into various products such as satay, meatballs, and nuggets. However, they face several challenges, including short product shelf life, unstable raw material supply, limited processing and packaging technology, and limited marketing reach. To overcome these problems, the Community Partnership Program team provides training and assistance that includes the application of appropriate technology such as a microcontroller-based food sterilization machine to optimally control temperature and pressure. Students are also involved through a student-centered learning model, with contributions in literacy studies, system development, implementation of information technology for marketing, and protection of intellectual property rights and scientific publications. Product diversification efforts are also carried out by developing various innovations in oyster mushroom processing that can be preserved, thus expanding product variations and meeting various consumer preferences. These new products are expected to increase competitiveness in the market and open up wider marketing opportunities. The expected results of this program include increasing the shelf life and quality of processed mushroom products, expanding the range of products through diversification of preserved products, increasing production capacity and efficiency through the use of modern technology, and strengthening marketing strategies based on information technology

No full textThe Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership (PRM) Kaliwadas, Bumiayu, Brebes, has experienced developments in preaching and religious activities. This is demonstrated through routine activities, such as religious studies every Wednesday night and Aisyiyah religious studies every Friday afternoon. However, there are still obstacles in the dissemination of information and understanding of the products of the fatwa thoughts of the Tarjih and Tajdid Council of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership. This condition has an impact on the lack of understanding and practice of prayer worship by the Muhammadiyah manhaj among residents affiliated with the organization. Therefore, through Community Service activities, the implementation team in collaboration with the PRM Kaliwadas management held training on how to pray based on the Tarjih Decisions Association (HPT). The implementation of this activity involved a series of counseling sessions, direct practice, and interactive discussions to improve participants' understanding and skills in performing prayers according to Muhammadiyah's guidance. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the principles of Muhammadiyah fiqh, including aspects of pillars, sunnah, and things that invalidate prayer. In addition, there is an increase in awareness of implementing the tarjih method in everyday life, which is reflected in the enthusiasm of participants in discussing fiqh issues more critically. No full textMental health problems in pregnant women are one of the health problems that have not been handled optimally in Banyuwangi Regency both during pregnancy and postpartum. Mental health screening of pregnant/postpartum women in antenatal care services is currently not running optimally because not all health workers have the ability to screen. Likewise, cadres as the spearheads in the community who assist pregnant/postpartum women in their area. Therefore, increasing literacy both knowledge and practice of mental health screening is needed. This capacity-building training activity aims to increase knowledge and skills in mental health screening using SRQ-20 to health workers and cadres. The 88 training participants consisted of 48 health workers and 40 cadres representing all sub-districts in Banyuwangi District. The results of this activity show that there are differences in knowledge and skills before and after with a value of p = 0.000 (health workers) and p = 0.000 (cadres). The average score before training also increased from 65.972 to 90.972 (health workers) and 41.833 to 71.667 (cadres) with a maximum score of 100. This activity is expected to improve antenatal care services and the participation of health workers and cadres in conducting mental health screening at puskesmas and their assisted areas

No full textThe partner in this community service program is the Sangalang Hapakat Farmers Group located in Tanjung Sangalang Village, Kahayan Tengah District, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan. The current problem is the post-harvest processing of oyster mushrooms which is still carried out conventionally. Currently, the oyster mushroom chips production process is carried out using a frying pan so the product quality is not good and does not last long. In addition, the frying process also requires a lot of cooking oil consumption. The solution to this problem is to apply Vacuum Frying technology to the frying process and before packaging. This technology is an oil-saving frying system and the product results are tastier, so that the resulting product can last a long time (last up to 1 month). The method used in this community service uses the method of observing obstacles, solving problems, and analyzing needs as a follow-up to solving problems, then mentoring training on tools and testing the feasibility of tools, use, and maintenance of tools for Partners, as well as mentoring on packaging and product marketing

No full textThe freshwater fish farming and digital marketing training program for communities in Central Bangka Regency aims to improve participants' technical skills and marketing abilities to support the regional economy. This program is implemented through activities including theoretical learning about aquaculture, direct practice, and digital marketing training. This Community Service activity uses survey and observation methods to measure the impact of training on participants' technical understanding, productivity, and income. The results of the community service activities showed a significant increase in technical knowledge, digital marketing skills, and aquaculture productivity. Participants' understanding of pond management, seed selection, feeding techniques, and disease control increased significantly. In addition, participants' average monthly income increased by 30% after training. This program effectively equips communities with relevant skills, demonstrating that integrated training that includes technical and digital marketing aspects can drive economic growth in rural communities

No full textThe development of communication technology has often not aligned with efforts to foster children’s interest in history. History, which often focuses on narratives of past suffering or becomes entangled in debates over truth, tends to be perceived as uninspiring and unappealing. As a result, history is increasingly overlooked, particularly by children, amid the dominance of pop culture. Through a visual communication approach, this community service program developed child-friendly historical narratives and actively involved children as participants. The story of Ken Arok and Ken Dedes, rooted in the history of the Singosari Kingdom in Malang, was chosen as the learning material due to its significance as an important part of local history. The program engaged students of TK Dharma Putra Malang as the participants. This program uses audio-visual design products, storytelling activities based on story books, using activity books as tools of historical learning for kindergarten students, while the students are accompanied by the facilitators who consist of the members of the Community Service team and also the teachers of the school. This approach not only aimed to introduce history to children but also sought to cultivate their interest and pride in the legacy of local culture. The community service initiative demonstrates that introducing history through creative media can enhance children’s enthusiasm and participation in learning history. This program is intended to inspire enjoyable and effective ways of teaching history in the digital age

Pada luka kronis seperti diabetic ulcers, proses penyembuhan menjadi terhambat akibat adanya kondisi hiperglikemia, infeksi bakteri, dan vaskularisasi yang buruk. Penelitian mengenai agen penyembuhan luka dengan tanaman obat yang memiliki efektivitas terhadap penyembuhan luka diabetic ulcers telah banyak dilakukan. Tujuan dari review ini adalah penelusuran pustaka terkait tanaman obat atau herbal yang memeiliki aktivitas dalam penyembuhan diabetic ulcers. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai artikel ilmiah yang membahas mengenai potensi tanaman obat yang terdaftar pada Farmakope Herbal Indonesia (FHI) yang terbukti baik secara in vivo atau in vitro atau uji klinis memiliki efektivitas penyembuhan luka pada diabetic ulcers. Kami mengulas 39 artikel dari 23 tanaman herbal yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Kesimpulannya adalah terdapat banyak penelitian berbasis hewan yang mengkonfirmasi aktivitas tanaman herbal dan konstituen aktifnya dalam penyembuhan luka diabetes. Aplikasi topikal produk herbal dan konstituen aktifnya dalam formulasi bisa menjadi alternatif yang baik untuk pengobatan luka diabetes

No full textDiabetes melitus merupakan penyakit kronis (menahun) yang sangat kecil kemungkinan untuk penderita sembuh total dari penyakit tersebut, penderita diabetes melitus sangat dianjurkan untuk minum obat secara secara rutin dan teratur. Penderita diabetes melitus biasanya memiliki kebiasaan tidak patuh untuk mengonsumsi obat karena penderita mengira jika obat yang diberikan kepada mereka hanya diminum pada saat merasakan tekanan gula darah tinggi saja dan jika gejalanya hilang atau berkurang mereka berpendapat bahwa mereka sudah sembuh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Hubungan Dukungan Keluraga Dengan Kepatuhan Minum Obat pada Penderita Diabetes Melitus. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 83 responden, yaitu penderita diabetes melitus di UPT Puskesmas Marina Permai. Teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-square. Menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara dukungan keluarga (P Value = 0,000 atau P<0,05) dengan kepatuhan minum obat (P Value = 0,000 atau P<0,05) terhadap penderita diabetes melitus di UPT Puskesmas Marina Permai. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan minum obat pada penderita diabetes melitus. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya dukungan keluarga yang berpengaruh terhadap kepatuhan penderita diabetes dalam meminum obat diabetes melitus secara rutin. Jika penderita diabetes melitus mendapatkan dukungan keluarga yang baik, maka kepatuhan minum obat dari penderita diabetes melitus akan lebih tinggi. Sebaliknya jika penderita diabetes melitus mendapatkan dukungan keluarga yang buruk, maka kepatuhan minum obat pada penderita diabetes melitus pun juga akan cenderung rendah
