    White kepok bananas are known to the people of Tabunganen District, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan as kepok timbatu. Kepok timbatu bananas have the potential to be developed as a raw material banana flour so they have the potential to be widely cultivated. This will have an impact on the need for seeds on a large scale. The need for banana plants itself has an obstacle, namely the limited availability of plant seeds. The solution to overcome this problem is to use micropropagation techniques. This technique can produce a lot of seeds in a short time. The success of which is influenced by using cytokinin growth regulator, such as BAP. BAP is widely used in tissue culture to stimulate shoot formation and multiplication. The aims of this research were to determine the effect of BAP concentration and the best BAP concentration on the multiplication of timbatu banana shoot subcultures. The research was designed using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor, i.e. BAP concentration (3, 5, 7, and 9 mg L-1), with 5 replications for each treatment, so there were 20 treatment units. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 bottles, so there were 80 planting bottles. Observations including time browning appeared, percentage of browning, time shoots appeared, number of shoots, number of leaves, number of roots and shoot height. The result showed that there was no significant effect of BAP concentration to all observed variables

    Mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus di jenjang pendidikan tinggi sering kali menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam mengakses materi pembelajaran. Siswa dengan kondisi khusus, khususnya siswa yang lamban belajar, sering kali mengalami kesulitan dalam memproses dan memahami materi pembelajaran yang kompleks secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas video edukasi tentang peralatan laboratorium bagi siswa yang lamban belajar. Penelitian ini melibatkan 59 siswa dari kelompok yang sama, dibagi menjadi dua kelas: Kelas A sebagai kelompok perlakuan dan Kelas B sebagai kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, yang menggabungkan metodologi kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui berbagai saluran: observasi kelas, wawancara siswa, penyaringan IPK, dan tes IQ untuk mengidentifikasi siswa yang lamban belajar. Tes awal dan tes akhir diberikan untuk menilai hasil pembelajaran setelah penerapan video pendidikan berbasis animasi atau multimedia, dengan hasil yang dianalisis melalui uji statistik. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan efektivitas video edukasi dalam meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran siswa. Metodologi penelitian menggabungkan unsur eksperimental dan observasi, dengan perhatian cermat pada pemilihan partisipan dan penilaian protokol. Penggunaan kelompok kontrol (Kelas B) memberikan dasar persaingan untuk menyiarkan efektivitas intervensi, sementara pendekatan metode campuran memungkinkan pengukuran kuantitatif hasil pembelajaran dan pemahaman kualitatif pengalaman siswa. Analisis statistik hasil pra-tes dan pasca-tes memberikan bukti empiris tentang dampak intervensi terhadap kinerja pembelajaran siswa

    Application of Buck Rotation System to Improve the Quality of Goat Phenotypes and Genotypes in KUBE X Sejahtera 005 Farmer Group

    Goats are the leading livestock commodity in the Samigaluh sub-district. The goat population in the Samigaluh sub-district was 15,866 goats (16.7%) of the total goat population in Kulon Progo which reached 95,257 goats. Peranakan Ettawa (PE) goats are widely kept and bred because of their high quality and price value, some are crossbred with local goats called Bligon. Limited access and quality bucks are one of the obstacles in breeding and improving the quality of goats, the use of artificial insemination (AI) in goat breeding has a low success rate. This community service (PkM) aims to educate and foster awareness and the active role of farmers in maintaining and improving the quality of goats from the reproduction side. The PkM partner is the KUBE Sejahtera X Binangun 005 livestock group which is a productive community group within the scope of the UGM assisted village in Sidoharjo village. Transfer of knowledge and skills has been carried out using counseling methods, interactive discussions, and practice in selecting superior males and applying the Buck Rotation System to maintain and improve the quality of goats phenotypically and genotypically. Evaluation of PkM by taking the parameters of knowledge and skills of farmers in assessing and selecting superior bucks and recording reproduction by implementing the Buck Rotation System. Results achieved, the training participants of the KUBE Sejahtera X Binangun 005 farmer group understand the importance of reproductive health, reproductive recording, and the impact of inbreeding and can judge and select bucks by SNI 7352:2008

    Desa Melintang is one of the villages in East Kalimantan Province located in the Kota Bangun area, Muara Wis District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The area is a water or lake region, so Desa Melintang is situated above the water. With such regional conditions, Melintang village does not have land that can be used for gardening or farming due to the absence of land or soil. This affects the vegetable needs, which cannot be produced by the people of Melintang Village themselves, so they have to be brought in from outside the region to. The long distance traveled to obtain vegetables makes it necessary for the community to spend more time dan money if they want to get vegetables. Based on the aforementioned issues, the PKM team conducted community service activities by providing hydroponic plant training to the PKK mothers' group in Melintang Village, while also donating hydroponic equipment dan supplies to the community. The results of the activity are expected to be beneficial in increasing the community's knowledge about hydroponic plants. In addition, by producing their own vegetables, the quality or freshness of the vegetables can be better guaranteed, dan the community can also save on expenses, which is expected to impact food fulfillment dan improve the welfare of the community

    Nutrition is one of the most critical components influencing the immune system. Good nutrition prevents and accelerates recovery from infectious diseases, including tuberculosis. This community service project improves mothers’ knowledge of balanced nutrition to strengthen their immunity. The activities included training 30 homemakers in Dusun Bandari through lectures, discussions, and the distribution of informative booklets. Before the training, the participants completed a pretest questionnaire and material presentation, discussion, and post-test evaluation. The results indicated that most participants had limited knowledge before the training; however, after the training, most displayed a good understanding and could identify balanced, nutritious foods that enhance immunity to help prevent tuberculosis. In conclusion, conducting training or education on balanced and healthy foods is essential to encourage communities to apply such knowledge daily. This community service activity is expected to support government efforts in tuberculosis prevention by improving immunity through balanced nutrition

    The community empowerment program based on Nile tilapia cultivation using the biostimulant RAS system was expected to enhance participants' economic independence. Key challenges included limited access to information, education, and technology, alongside a lack of business management support. The program aimed to address these issues and positively impact the welfare of the disability community. Conducted under the title "Productive Efforts for Sensory (Hearing Impairment/Deafness) and Physical Disabilities through Nile Tilapia Cultivation Using a Circular Biostimulant RAS System in the Teras Inklusi Community," the activity used a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach. The installation of circular RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) ponds in the field was completed as planned, with all system components, including circular ponds, filtration systems, and water distribution pipes, properly installed and functioning as expected. Effective coordination between the PKM team and partners resulted in no significant obstacles during installation. The training successfully enhanced participants' understanding and competencies, as evaluation results showed an increase in the "Good" category from 25% in the pre-test to 85% in the post-test, with no participants remaining in the "Poor" category after training

    Antioxidant Activity of Edible Bird’s Nest (Aerodramus fuciphagus) from Central Borneo, Indonesia

    Edible bird's nests (EBNs) from Aerodramus fuciphagus have been traditionally used in Asia for their various health benefits, including antioxidant properties. Previous studies have reported antioxidant activity in EBN water extracts using methods like ABTS and ORAC. However, the antioxidant activity can vary significantly depending on factors such as the source of EBN, extraction methods, and the specific assay used. This study aimed to comprehensively evaluate the antioxidant potential of EBN water extract using a range of in vitro assays. The antioxidant activity was assessed using four different methods: 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging, nitric oxide (NO) radical scavenging, ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP), and cupric reducing antioxidant capacity (CUPRAC). Results demonstrated that the EBN water extract exhibited moderate NO radical scavenging activity with an IC50 value of 116.86 μg/mL. While weak activity was observed in the DPPH assay, the FRAP and CUPRAC assays showed promising antioxidant potential with an ascorbic acid equivalent (AAE) of 4.567±0.30 and 3.487±0.095 μg AAE/mL, respectively. These findings suggest that the antioxidant activity of EBN water extract may be primarily attributed to its protein content. However, further investigations are warranted to elucidate the specific mechanisms of action and isolate the bioactive compounds responsible for the observed antioxidant effects. These findings have implications for the development of EBN-based functional foods, nutraceuticals, and cosmeceuticals with enhanced antioxidant properties

    Sekarang ini instansi pemerintahan sudah banyak melakukan proses kerja administrasi secara online. Salah satunya dr. Doris Sylvanus Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah telah menggunakan Aplikasi e-Kinerja BKN dan Aplikasi Sinerja BKD. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis efektivitas penerapan Aplikasi e-Kinerja BKN dan Aplikasi Sinerja BKD dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan serta kinerja ASN di lingkungan RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Penggunaan sistem Aplikasi e-Kinerja BKN dan Aplikasi Sinerja BKD di lingkungan RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah dapat mempermudah pengelolaan data kinerja ASN dan memberikan kemudahan dalam melacak kinerja ASN. Dalam pembuatan penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yaitu dengan  mengumpulkan data dari fakta yang ditemukan di RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Hasil penelitian ini efektif dan efisien karena setelah menggunakan kedua aplikasi ini ASN  merasa puas dalam menggunakan Aplikasi e-Kinerja BKN dan Aplikasi Sinerja BKD dan dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan para ASN sehingga lebih sadar untuk merekam semua kegiatan kinerjanya sesuai dengan yang diharapkan

    Media pembelajaran monopoli matematikan Ini dibuat dengan mengikuti tahapan-tahapan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) menerapkan model Borg dan Gall yang diintegrasikan dengan model desain pembelajaran dari Dick dan Carey. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang media pembelajaran Monopoli mengenai penghitungan untuk siswa kelas III di sekolah dasar serta mengevaluasi seberapa efektif media pembelajaran Monopoli yang telah dikembangka. Metode yang diterapkan untuk mengumpulkan data mencakup formulir wawancara, kuesioner untuk analisis kebutuhan siswa dan guru, angket untuk validasi media , materi dan angket formulir evaluasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis mengenai efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran Monopoli, kami menemukan bahwa pencapaian hasil belajar Matematika siswa yang diajarkan dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran tersebut lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar Matematika siswa yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran konvensional (87,5% lebih tinggi dari 70%). Dengan demikian, kami menyimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Monopoli lebih efektif untuk pengajaran Matematika kepada siswa kelas III SD dibandingkan dengan penggunaan media dalam metode pembelajaran yang biasa

    Akses terhadap Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) semakin penting di era globalisasi, namun Desa Tampelas masih mengalami kesenjangan digital yang berdampak pada kualitas pendidikan. Keterbatasan infrastruktur internet serta rendahnya literasi digital masyarakat menyebabkan siswa sulit mengakses sumber belajar modern, yang menghambat proses pembelajaran daring dan inovasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi akses internet, faktor penyebab kesenjangan, dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas pendidikan di Desa Tampelas. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, studi dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akses internet terbatas pada beberapa titik dengan kualitas sinyal yang rendah, akibatnya proses pembelajaran daring tidak dapat dilaksanakan dan siswa hanya bergantung pada pembelajaran tatap muka dan buku teks. Kesenjangan digital ini menurunkan motivasi belajar serta membatasi akses siswa pada materi tambahan dan teknologi pembelajaran yang lebih variatif. Kesimpulannya, keterbatasan akses internet di Desa Tampelas berdampak signifikan pada kualitas pendidikan, menekankan perlunya peningkatan infrastruktur digital dan pelatihan literasi TIK untuk mendukung pemerataan pendidikan di daerah terpencil
