    This research aims to develop a web-based library application to enhance the efficiency of information services at SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta. The study employed the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) within a Research and Development (R&D) approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation related to the existing manual library system. The application was developed using PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL and implemented on a local server using XAMPP. Key features included multi-level login, online book catalog, transaction history, and automatic reporting. Usability testing was conducted with librarians and students, while expert validation involved media, content, and field practitioners. Results showed that the application significantly improved service efficiency by reducing transaction time by 50% and enhancing access to book information. The validation score averaged 86%, indicating that the system is feasible for use. The study concludes that the application supports digital transformation and strengthens literacy services in vocational education environments

    The culture of the Muslim community in Palangka Raya has its own perception to make it easier to determine halal food standards. This research is focused on consumer perceptions of the halal standardization of Muslim communities in Palangka Raya. This study aims to determine the perception of halal consumers in Muslim communities in Palangka Raya and to examine consumer behavior in Muslim communities in Palangka Raya in determining halal standardization. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The subjects in this study were nine customers, three customers from three restaurants. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data validation technique uses observer persistence and source triangulation by collecting similar data and information from various existing sources. The results showed that the consumers' perceptions of the halal standardization of the Muslim community in Palangka Raya were: (1) Halal perceptions of consumers in Muslim communities in Palangka Raya can be said to be in accordance with the understanding of the concept of halal and the terms of halal food that have been established by Islamic law and ijtihad of Islamic scholars in categorizing halal food, namely such as substances, processing and sources. (2) The consumer behavior of the Muslim community in Palangka Raya in determining halal standardization is by looking at pictures of Islamic scholars, Arabic writing, or Islamic ornaments, which are culture and sub-culture, and are in accordance with the principles of the value of faith in Islamic consumer behavior

    This community service activity aims to improve the capacity and role of Muhammadiyah branches in empowering the community in Pisangan Baru, Jakarta through structural development and strengthening the skills of cadres. Muhammadiyah branches as the most advanced organizational structure facing the community have a strategic role in driving da'wah, social, and educational activities in the community. However, obstacles such as limited human resources, minimal cadre training, and low community participation often hinder program optimization. The methods of this activity include managerial training, routine mentoring, focus group discussions (FGD) to identify community needs, and evaluation to assess the effectiveness of activities. The results of the activity showed an increase in the managerial and communication skills of cadres, improvements in the organizational structure of the branch, and increased community participation in various activities initiated by Muhammadiyah branches. The obstacles faced included limited time for cadres and the fact that there were still people who did not understand the role of Muhammadiyah branches. Overall, this activity succeeded in increasing the effectiveness of Muhammadiyah branches in empowering the community, Consistent follow-up is needed to maintain the sustainability of the program and strengthen the synergy between Muhammadiyah branches and the community in Pisangan Baru, Matraman East Jakarta

    Implementasi Metode Lean Healthcare untuk Mengurangi Waktu Tunggu Pasien: Implementation of Lean Healthcare Methods to Reduce Patient Waiting Time

    Outpatient waiting time is one of the national quality indicators. Most patients visiting outpatient clinics in Indonesian hospitals complain about the long waiting time before receiving healthcare services. Over the decades, the persistent issue of long waiting times and unresolved patient dissatisfaction has led hospitals worldwide to adopt Lean Healthcare management systems. These systems focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of service operations by eliminating waste. Siti Rahmah Hospital is a private type-C hospital facing outpatient waiting time issues exceeding 60 minutes. This community service aims to enhance nurses' knowledge and reduce service waiting times. This community service was conducted using a quantitative approach with an experimental design, and the primary data collection technique was through questionnaires. The implementation consisted of four main stages: preparation, socialization of lean healthcare methods, identification of waiting times, and mapping types of time waste in services. Nurses' knowledge about lean healthcare management increased significantly by 56.70% after the training, as shown by a pretest score of 36.6% and a post-test score of 93.3%. The knowledge components that improved substantially included understanding the outpatient waiting time standard of less than 60 minutes, identifying time-wasting activities in services, and using electronic medical records as a lean healthcare strategy to reduce service waiting times. The lean healthcare method is effective in reducing patient waiting times in outpatient care

    Herbal medicine is a traditional medicine that has proven effective in maintaining and overcoming health problems. Currently, consuming herbal medicine is a trend in maintaining the body's immune system. One of the natural ingredients used is the butterfly pea flower, which grows abundantly in the yards of residents of Siwalan Village, Sawaahan District, Nganjuk Regency. This community service activity targets the local Family Health Empowerment (PKK) group so that members are motivated to utilize butterfly pea plants as herbal medicine ingredients and business opportunities. The activity was conducted through counseling, direct practice, and interactive discussions. Participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the activity and actively participated. The evaluation results showed increased participant understanding from an average of 1.2 - 2.2 before the activity to 1 - 4.5 after the activity. This shows a significant increase in participant knowledge and skills. In this activity, participants learned about the benefits, processing methods, and increasing the economic value of butterfly pea plants. In addition, participants also learned about business opportunities from butterfly pea raw materials to create entrepreneurial activities in the local environment

    Sa-ijaan Mitra Lestari (SML) Regional Company of Kotabaru Regency is a regionally-owned enterprise (BUMD) whose shares are 100% owned by the Kotabaru Regency Government. Until now, SML employees have never received outreach or training on digital literacy, especially concerning digital security. Therefore, this community service activity aims to raise their awareness and understanding of risks and threats in the digital world and teach best practices for protecting the company's information and systems. This Digital Security Education activity was carried out in five stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and report writing. The implementation phase was conducted through a seminar held at the SML office. The seminar was delivered using multimedia presentation slides containing text, images, and videos. Additionally, a Q&A session was included to ensure participants gained comprehensive knowledge. Evaluation results showed an increase in employees' awareness of cyber risks and preventive measures that can be taken. Employees became more aware of the importance of safeguarding the integrity of company data and information, and better prepared to face cyber threats. The success of this training also contributed to building a stronger digital security culture within the company, where every team member feels responsible for the security of the company's data

    Skills are among the most important competencies that students must acquire to face the challenges of the twenty-first century. Applied literacy is a strategic approach to developing students' creativity, collaboration, motor, and cognitive skills. Forum PUSPA Hamidah of Tanjungpinang, a community dedicated to women's empowerment and child protection, has launched a Shibori Batik training program at Muhammadiyah School in Tanjungpinang. This initiative is a form of collaboration between the community and the school to support implementing literacy programs in educational settings. Seventy-one students actively participated in the training, which was intended to be enjoyable and meaningful, through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. Community facilitators and school teachers guided participants as they folded, tied, and dyed fabric to create unique Shibori Batik patterns. The results showed increased enthusiasm, improved teamwork, and the students' successful production of Shibori Batik fabric as a creative output. This activity improved cultural arts learning by demonstrating how community involvement can broaden learning opportunities in contextual, participatory, and relevant ways. This initiative is expected to be a best-practice model for developing applied literacy through long-term cross-sector partnerships between communities and schools. This culturally-based applied literacy innovation type is widely replicable at the primary and secondary levels

    The general election (Pemilu) is a process by which people elect individuals to political positions at various levels in Indonesia. Elections are conducted to elect leaders such as presidents or executive officials, representatives of the people in the legislature, and village heads. A quality election will certainly give birth to quality leaders as well. The Village Head as a leader at the village level will represent the quality of a village. Thus, the function of the Village Head towards village development is to think, plan, and implement. One of the efforts made by the Cianjur Regency Government to improve the quality of the implementation of the simultaneous village elections is by creating an E-Administration system to be used in the registration process for candidates for village heads. The purpose of creating this E-Administration system is to facilitate the organizers and prospective village head candidates in the implementation of registration The implementation method in this service activity goes through several preparatory stages, namely First, increasing commitment. Second, development and harmonization of the e-administration system prototype. Third, supervision of the legalization process. And fourth, mentoring/technology transfer of the e-administration system. The results of this research are the formation of an E-Administration system designed by the IT Team of the Faculty of Engineering, Suryakancana University, which is adaptive to existing systems in stakeholders or institutions

    The purpose of this activity is to carry out outreach related to mapping the direction of Government policy in the development of Village-Owned Enterprises in South Dampal District, Tolitoli Regency. This socialization activity was carried out on July 29 2024 using the FGD (Focus Group Discussion) model and took place at the South Dampal District office involving 13 villages in the South Dampal District area. The participants who participated in this activity were the Village Head, the Head of BUMDes, the Head of the BPD, and 2 community members each representing the Village. The result of this socialization was that the participants did not know what the questions above were with an average percentage of 36.25%, while the other 21% knew what had been asked in the assessment. In the second stage of the assessment, participants showed an increase in understanding, on average they already knew what the questions above were with a presentation of 48.8% and 5.5% still answered that they did not know what had been presented in the material out of 50 active participants
