It has been found that the square sectioned transverse continuous rib roughened duct with P/e = 10 and e/D = 0.06 offers the best thermo-hydraulic performance parameter for the investigated range of parameters

    Design and Parametric Analysis of Multiband Microstrip Patch Antenna

    In this paper a rectangular shaped, low cost compact size microstrip patch antenna is designed which can be used at high frequencies. Parametric analysis of proposed antenna design is done for four different feeding methods. Different parameters like return loss, VSWR, radiation pattern, directivity, resonant frequency are simulated and analyzed using Ansoft HFSS 13. A prototype antenna is fabricated and tested in order to validate the suggested method.

    Graphic Art Effects on Consumer Behavior: A Study of Students/Youth in Iran

    The paper illustrates how the power of graphic art advertisements facilitates the purchasing and as a result, consumption behavior. It bridges between the two sources ___ the decision of the purchaser/consumer on the one side, and the supplier on the other. The process eliminates negotiation, bargaining and the hard part of decision-making. Therefore, deals and interactions take place quicker under the power of graphic art advertisements. The article implicitly argues how the consumption market is strengthened and improved through graphic art advertisements. Patterns and culture of consumption are made and influenced by graphic art illustrations and advertisements. The article argues that while sociability supports consumption, isolation promotes withdrawal from consumption. Therefore, graphic art advertising bridges between production and consumption. Similarly, consumption contributes to the reproduction of culture, behavior and modernity. The research is based on the main hypothesis that: "graphic art values motivate and affect consumer behavior within the youth in the society". The present research investigates 470 students of age group18-29 of various disciplines and of both genders in Tehran City. In that, more female students 311 (66.2%), and less male students 159 (33.8%) participated in interviews

    3D approach is a new thing to understand the distance learning and a possibility of the learning of digital natives as a blending for the members in order to explore the virtual world. It offered a wide variety of entertainment in every walk of life. 3D projection enable the digital light processing with the projectors. 2D to 3D video conversion is the process of creating imagery for each eye from one 2D image which in almost all cases is stereo. This paper is about the 2D to 3D conversion of the video and image by calculating the distance of two cameras where depth could be visible. The process of calculating the depth through non parametric sampling followed by depth image based rendering to obtain left and right images. These images are then combined using an active shutter glasses of stereoscopy to complete as a single 3D image. 2D-to-3D conversion greatly provide the immersive effect while viewing the stereo video by adding the binocular disparity depth cue to digital images. The conversion should be done with correctness and accuracy. This technique is followed in this paper.
