Full text link実践女子大学は長らく『源氏物語』の古筆切の収集に努力してきた。稿者が『源氏物語 古筆の世界』を出版した後もかなりの古筆切が集まった。二冊目の本を出版する準備のために、個人所蔵のものを含めて、とくに一連の断簡の存在するものの中から十一点を選んで、本稿に紹介する。

Introduction to the 1930 Correspondence Between Haruo Sato，Chiyo, and Toyotaro: A Record of "The Exhibition Commemorating 60 Years Since Haruo Sato's Death： Wisdom, Friendship, and Love!"
Full text link二〇二四年五月二三日から六月二一日にかけて、実践女子大学で「没後六〇年 佐藤春夫展 ―智恵と友情と恋と！」展が開催された。展示品の主眼は、佐藤春夫が父の豊太郎と交わした一九三〇年の往復書簡である。この年、春夫は友人の谷崎潤一郎の前夫人であった千代と結婚した。書簡は、非寛容な報道と脳溢血の発症により、作家生活最大の危機に立たされた春夫の状況を伝えている。この結婚において、春夫の父が大きな役割を果たしていたことが分かった。彼は千代の複雑な立場を理解して、家族のなかに積極的に居場所を作ろうと配慮していた。千代は春夫の両親に感謝の言葉を述べ、夫の介護にも極めて献身的に尽くした。そのことが春夫両親の信頼につながった経緯も確認できる。結婚当時の千代の感想が残されていたことは、友人間における妻の「譲渡」のみに注目してきた従来の理解に再考を迫ることになるだろうFrom May 23 to June 21, 2024，Jissen Women's University hosted "The Exhibition Commemorating 60 Years Since Haruo Sato’s Death: Wisdom, Friendship, and Love!" The exhibition highlighted the 1930 correspondence between Haruo Sato and his father, Toyotaro. That year marked a turning point in Haruo's life, as he married Chiyo, the former wife of his friend Junichiro Tanizaki. The letters reveal the profound challenges Haruo faced during this period, encompassing a career crisis exacerbated by relentless press scrutiny and the onset of a cerebral hemorrhage. Toyotaro played a pivotal role in supporting Haruo through these difficulties and in facilitating the marriage. He recognized the complex position of Chiyo and made significant efforts to welcome her into the family. Chiyo, in turn, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the parents of Haruo and demonstrated unwavering devotion to her husband's care, earning the trust of Haruo's family. The reflections of Chiyo from the time of her marriage, which have been preserved, challenge the traditional narrative that has primarily prioritized the "transfer" of a wife among friends．departmental bulletin pape
