A new role for Child and family support centers From the approach of food support during the spread of infectious diseases
Get PDF本稿ではS 市内の3 つの児童家庭支援センターの食支援の取り組みを事例として、感染拡大下での活動から見えてきた児童家庭支援センターの役割を分析した。要支援子育て家庭の子どもにとってとくに食の課題は緊急度が高い。食支援については近年こども食堂の取り組みがよく知られており、食支援に加えて居場所や地域支援の機能を持つことが分かっている。だがcovid-19 拡大下で開催が制限され、フードパントリーなどに活動内容を変更する食堂もあった。本稿では食支援を専門とするこども食堂の先行研究と比較しながら、児童家庭支援センター独自の役割を探った。その結果、地域で子ども支援に携わる個人や団体にソーシャルワークの視点を提供し、個別支援のための技術を伝えること、困難ケースのつなぎ先になることなど、支援者支援の役割があることが明らかになった。また感染拡大下で従来の活動が制限されたからこそ、アウトリーチによって要支援家庭の発見につながった。加えて地域の支援者や住民、商店等とは、相互に協力しあうあらたなつながりが生まれたことが明らかになった。In this paper, I analyzed the role of child and family support centers as revealed by their activities during the spread of infection using the food support efforts of three such centers in S city as a case study. The issue of meals is particularly urgent for children in need of support. In recent years, children’s cafeterias have been well known for their efforts to support children’s meals, and it is understood that these cafeterias have the function of providing not only food support but also a place for children with community support. However, during the spread of COVID-19, some of these cafeterias have been restricted and have changed their activities to those of food pantries. This paper explores the unique role of child and family support centers by comparing it with that found in previous studies of children’s cafeterias that specialize in food support. Results show that the center’s role is to provide support to individuals and groups engaged in supporting children in the community by providing them with perspectives on social work, teaching them techniques for providing individual support, and acting as a link for difficult cases. The outreach activities led to the discovery of households in need of support because conventional activities were limited due to the spread of the infection. Analysis of Students' English Writing Improvement Part 3: Changes in Writing Proficiency through Focused Instruction on Grammar, Structure, Logic, and Content Quality
Get PDF短期大学英語必修授業で前期・後期を通じて実施した2 回のライティングテストの結果147名分を習熟度別に比較分析した結果，どの習熟度のグループにおいても，多くの項目で統計的に有意に改善していることが明らかになった．特定の文法項目に絞ったエラー改善の指導，構成と論理を表すディスコースマーカーの指導，内容の質の指導，短い英文を繰り返し書かせる指導，海外に発信するエッセイの作成や発表の機会などがライティングの改善に貢献した可能性がある．また調査結果を基にライティングテストの評価基準（ルーブリック）構築を試みる．A comparative analysis of the results of two writing tests administered to 147 students in the first and second semesters of a required junior college English class by proficiency level revealed statistically significant improvements in many items for all proficiency groups. It is possible that instruction on error improvement focusing on specific grammar items, instruction on discourse markers for structure and logic, instruction on content quality, instruction on writing short English sentences repeatedly, and opportunities to write and present essays to be sent abroad contributed to the improvement in writing.
