19th-century Irish Romantic Female Poets and the Education of Children
Get PDF1798年英国によりアイルランドが併合された後も、アイルランドの女流詩人たちは、その詩作により児童、青少年をアイルランド独自に教育した様子が数多く試みられる。その内容は、英国の教育とは異なるアイルランド特有の児童・青少年へのメッセージをこめたものが多い。本論文では、児童教育の分野で名高いメアリー・レッドベター（Mary Leadbeater 1758-1826）及びアデレイド・オキーフ（Adelaide O’Keeffe 1776-1855?）らの作品を考察し、データべ―スを用いて解析した結果、当時の女流詩人がアイルランドに根強い教育の伝統を生かしながら、理想の社会を建設しようとしたことが明らかになった。Following the annexation of Ireland by Britain in 1798, a significant number of Irish female poets endeavored to impart education to children and adolescents through their poetic compositions. These educational endeavors were distinctively Irish in nature, deviating from the conventional British pedagogical methods. The primary focus of this thesis is the examination of the works of eminent figures in the realm of children’s education, namely Mary Leadbeater (1758-1826) and Adelaide O’Keeffe (1776-1855?). Utilizing a database for analysis, it was discerned that these female poets of the era strived to construct an ideal society, utilizing the tradition of education prevalent in Ireland. This finding underscores the pivotal role played by these poets in leveraging education as a tool for social construction within the Irish context.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF災害時の避難所での生活において睡眠は重要である。本研究は敷具に着目し、二つの実験を行った。実験１では、先ず、13 種の敷具について物理的性質を測定した。次に、成人女性14 名が各敷具の寝心地について評価した。高評価はマットレス、エアマットであり、低評価はブルーシート、発泡樹脂板であった。実験２では、成人女性５名を被験者とした。被験者は合板の上に仰臥位および横臥位となり、各々、仙骨部および転子部における荷重を測定した。寝心地と荷重には関係が認められなかった。Sleep is important for people living in disaster shelters. This study focused on bedding and two experiments were conducted. In Experiment 1, the physical properties of 13 types of bedding were measured. Next, 14 adult women evaluated the sleeping comfort of each bedding. High ratings were assigned to mattresses and air mats, whereas low ratings were assigned to blue sheets and foamed resin boards. Five adult females participated in Experiment 2. They were placed in the supine and prone positions on a plywood board, and the loads at the sacral and trochanteric regions were measured, respectively.
