Get PDF本研究は、語彙の豊富さを中心とした変数を用いて、有価証券報告書・小説・所信表明演説の 3 種類のテキストを分析するものである。研究の主な目的は以下の 2 点である。
1. 稿者が先に研究した際の語彙の豊富さの値を他のサンプルと比較し、相対的位置を確認する。
2. 語彙の豊富さの応用可能性を示す。
研究では、語彙の豊富さ（s）・名詞率・MVR・平均文長を変数として使用した。考察の結果、以下の知見が得られた。
– 有価証券報告書の語彙の豊富さ（s）は約 .850 で、これは学生のレポートと同程度である。
– 小説では、作家によって文体の特徴にちがいがあり、特に江戸川乱歩の作品では低年齢層向けと非低年齢層向けで明確な差異がみられた。
– 所信表明演説では、時代が下ると MVR が低下し、より理解しやすい文体に変化している。

Genre-Specific Characteristics of Loanwords and Neologisms: A Preliminary Investigation on University Students’ Awareness, Comprehension, and Search Behavior
Get PDF外来語の数の多さや意味の分かりづらさについてはしばしば議論が交わされる。公共性の高い場面での使用に際して高齢者への配慮が欠かせないことは言うまでもないが、流行に敏感な大学生世代であっても、外来語新語の理解はジャンルによって異なる傾向がある。本稿では、大学生を対象に娯楽やビジネスにおける外来語の認知度、理解度、使用パターンを調査した。これらのパターンを分析するとともに学生の検索行動の実態を精査することで得られた知見を提示し、今後の課題を検討する。Debates persist regarding the abundance of loanwords and their complex meanings. It’s commonly understood that consideration for the elderly is essential when employing these in public settings. However, even among the trend-conscious demographic of university students, comprehension of new loanwords varies by genre. This research focused on surveying university students to investigate their familiarity, understanding, and usage trends of loanwords in both leisure and business contexts. Get PDF短期大学1 年生向け英語必修科目で実施しているライティングテストのデータを用いた自動採点システムを開発した．人工知能の機械学習に，過去の同一テーマのライティングテストの英文データを，教師評価と共に入力し，クラウドコンピューティングで一般公開されている人工知能の機械学習のサービスを用いて「教師あり学習」を行った．自動採点システムは英文の「内容の質」のみを採点対象とし，Level 1 からLevel 4 の4 段階の採点を行う．このシステムを用いて2023 年度の英語必修科目のライティングテストの英文106 件を採点したところ，自動採点システム（Model C）と教師評価の一致率は49.1%，相関係数は0.600** であった．同システムを授業内で学生に使用させた上でアンケート調査を行い，それをテキストマイニングで分析した．We developed an automated scoring system using data from past writing tests on one theme in a required English course for first-year junior college students and teacher evaluations. These data were input into a cloud-based artificial intelligence “supervised”machine-learning system that scored the texts’ “quality of content” at four levels （1-4）.Subsequently, 106 writing tests for the required English course in Academic Year 2023 were scored; the agreement rate between the automated scoring system and the teacher’s evaluation was 49.1%（ R = 0.600**）. As intellectual consumers,we maintain our personal reading records.
