Practical Implementation and Significance of Regional Archives Preservation: A Case Study of Archival Organization Activities at Chita-Musan Shrine in Aichi Prefecture
Get PDF本稿は、筆者が2022年から本格的に実践している民間が所有する歴史資料群の調査・整理活動について報告するとともに、地域住民とともにアーカイブズを保存・管理する意義を考察するものである。対象は愛知県知多市朝倉地区の氏神社である牟山神社に所蔵される歴史資料群である。
筆者のこれまでの調査から、牟山神社には近世後期から平成に至るまでの朝倉地区や同社に関する歴史資料が少なくとも1500点以上所蔵されることが確認された。しかし、明治初期以降、同神社には常駐する神職はおらず、２年で交代する氏子総代によって神社が運営されてきたため、歴史資料の適切な管理がなされてこなかった。筆者は同資料群の散逸を防ぐことを目的に住民と協働で整理することを提案し、2022年から作業を開始した。本稿では本活動のうち主に概要調査の報告を行なう。また、筆者と住民による資料の清掃や整理作業についても報告し、住民と協働で活動する意義を検討する。
地域のアーカイブズは、博物館や公文書館など資料保存上のメリットの多い公的な機関で管理される場合と、資料所有者が現地で管理する場合がある。いずれも「現地保存」とみなされるが、どちらを選択するかによって所有者・地元住民に与える影響は異なる。アーキビストや自治体職員は、その違いを認識し、各資料の性格や所有者の要望を見極めたうえで保存施設や保存方法を決定することが望ましいと考える。This paper reports on the author's ongoing efforts to investigate and organize privately-owned
historical archives, a project initiated in 2022. The focus is on the historical documents held at Musan Shrine in the Asakura district, Aichi Prefecture.
The author's research has revealed that Musan Shrine houses a collection of over 1,500 historical
documents dating from the late modern period to the Heisei era, pertaining to the Asakura district.
However, with no resident priests currently at the shrine and its operation entrusted to rotating parishioner representatives, these valuable historical materials have not received proper archival management.
To prevent the potential loss or dispersal of these materials, the author proposed and started a
collaborative effort with local residents to organize and preserve them. This paper primarily presents an
overview of the project. It also discusses the cleaning and organization of materials undertaken by the author and local residents, as well as the significance of community involvement in such activities.
The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of recognizing the differences between managing
archives within public institutions and by private owners on-site and the need to consider the nature of the materials and the owners' preferences when determining preservation methods and facilities.departmental bulletin pape

Sorting and Conserving Disaster-damaged Documents after Emergency Treatment Case study: How the Hiroshima Prefecture Archives Treated the Makibayashi Family Documents
Get PDF民間アーカイブズが直面している滅失の危機の一つの要因に、災害による被災がある。広島県立文書館では、「平成30年西日本豪雨」で被災した槙林家文書の保全活動に取り組んできた。乾燥などの応急処置を終えた槙林家文書は、被災をまぬがれた文書とともに当館に寄贈され、現在整理中である。本稿では、応急処置後の槙林家文書の整理と保存について、現在までの状況を振り返り、多くの方々の力で保全された槙林家文書の目録の公開と活用にむけて、整理の進め方や保存の対処について、今後の課題を探る。
また、地域歴史資料としての槙林家文書の概要とともに、「災害を語る歴史資料」として、当館での展示や大学の学外実習、槙林家の地元瀬野での報告会などで活用した事例を紹介し、地域の歴史資料保存機関として、民間アーカイブズの救出と保全を行う意義と課題を考える。Currently, private archives are facing the risk of losing their documents. One of the major risks is the
damage from natural disasters. Hiroshima Prefecture Archives have rescued and conserved the Makibayashi Family Documents which were damaged by the West Japan Rain Disaster in 2018 (Heisei 30). After emergency treatment, such as drying the paper, the Makibayashi Documents were donated to Hiroshima Prefecture Archives, as well as other undamaged documents. The documents which were rescued are now in process of being catalogued. This article is about the whole process from the emergency treatment to the current sorting and conservation work at Hiroshima Prefecture Archives. The intention of the present article is to discuss and find the best process for sorting and conserving such documents. This article also gives a quick view of local history from the Makibayashi Documents, as well as the history of the disaster. The documents were displayed not only in some historical exhibitions, but also at the report meeting in the Makibayashi family’s local town, Seno. Such activities enabled us to support these private archives through ongoing continuous conservation. On Dazai Osamu's “Sekibetsu”―From the perspective of Sendai Hagi and Three Principles of the People―
Get PDFすでに知られている通り、太宰治『惜別』（朝日新聞社刊、一九四五・九）は、小田嶽夫『魯迅伝』（筑摩書房、一九四一・三）、竹内好『東洋思想叢書１８ 魯迅』（日本評論社、一九四四・十二）を参考にして書かれた。
従来の研究では見過ごされてきたが、小田嶽夫、竹内好、太宰治の三作品に共通する特徴は、魯迅と孫文の思想的なつながりである。小田は「孫文は新支那の形を作つた人であつた。それに比して魯迅は新支那の中実を作るために終生苦しんだ人」、「古き支那を根柢から覆さうとして身を挺した最も果敢な二人の勇士が、共に留学生出身であつた」と両者を表現し、竹内は「孫文に「永遠の革命者」を見る場合の魯迅は、「永遠の革命者」を媒介として孫文と自己同一的な対立関係に立つのではないか、彼が必死に相争つたものは、孫文においてある彼自身の影でなかつたか」と孫文と魯迅の交錯を描いている。
一方、『惜別』では主人公の魯迅に「僕は、ただ僕の一すぢに信じてゐる孫文の三民主義を、わかり易く民衆に教へて、民族の自覚をうながしてやりたい。」と語らせている。本稿では太平洋戦争の末期に太宰が、魯迅の実像を歪めてまでも描こうとした『惜別』の主題について、孫文を補助線として再考してみたい。Osamu Dazai's "Sekibetsu" (1945) was written with reference to Takeo Oda's "Lu Xunden" (1941) and Yoshimi Takeuchi's "Lu Xun" (1944).
Although often overlooked in previous research, the common feature of the three works of Oda's "Lu Xunden" and Takeuchi's "Lu Xun" and Dazai's “Sekibetsu” is the ideological connection between Lu Xun and Sun Yat-sen.
What was the theme of "Sekibetsu" that Osamu Dazai wanted to depict even if he distorted the real image of Lu Xun? I deem it necessary to reconsider the theme via Sun Yatsen's thoughts.departmental bulletin pape

Water-stained "INFO": Archives of Shops Affected by Nuclear Power Plant Accident
Get PDF本稿は東京電力福島第一原子力発電所事故で被災した福島県浪江町の店舗のアーカイブズの階層構造を分析するとともに、その利活用をどのように展開できるか検討するものである。具体的には、町域の多くが原発事故のために帰還困難区域を抱える福島県双葉郡浪江町で料理店を営んでいた日本料理「しのはら」資料を事例とする。日本料理「しのはら」資料は全202レコードで半分は地域情報誌（ミニコミ誌）の端本であった。これらをアイテムレベルで一点ごとに検証すると、原発事故で店舗にそのまま遺されていた資料と事務所空間に遺されていた資料の劣化の違いがあり、改めて目録編成を行った上で、原発事故を語ることができる資料群として捉え直し得た。
それらの点を発見することができたのは日本料理「しのはら」の女将からの聞き取り調査であり、聞き取り調査が資料群のコンテキストを把握できる重要な作業であることを明らかにした。そして、このような資料自治体などの資料収蔵機関において積極的に保全する意義が求められるので、日本料理「しのはら」資料を「生活誌」再現とともに原発事故を語ることができる資料として位置づけた。This paper analyzes the archives of stores in Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture, affected by the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident, and discusses their utilization. Specifically, it focuses on the case of the Japanese restaurant "Shinohara," which operated a
restaurant in Namie Town, Futaba District, Fukushima Prefecture, where people could not return due to the nuclear accident. The archives of the Japanese restaurant "Shinohara" consisted of 202 records, with half of them being local information magazines.
There was a difference in the degradation between the materials left in the restaurant due to the nuclear accident and those left in the office space. After creating a catalog again, it was evaluated as a
collection of materials that could speak to the nuclear accident. The discovery of these points was made
possible through interviews, revealing the crucial role of interviews in understanding the context of the
material. These materials were positioned as valuable resources for narrating the nuclear accident, along
