Get PDFLanguage is a marker of social change that occurs in society. Prescriptivism, which is more glorifying language that is considered more modern. Linguistic landscape views urban as text. The meaning is, because language is widely used in public spaces in urban areas. Linguistic landscape is the presence of language between space and place. An interdisciplinary study of the presence of various language issues that interact with other languages in the public sphere. This study describes the phenomenon of linguistic landscape in Medan in the categories of onomastics, semiotics and spatial. The method used, namely qualitative research methods. The research threat uses the linguistic landscape theory of the Landry & Bourhis (1997) model. The research findings are the use of foreign languages that dominate the landscape in Medan City. REALISASI TINDAK TUTUR REMAJA ALAYERS PADA AKUN FACEBOOK
Get PDFAlay language is one of the new languages that has a negative impact on the existence of Indonesian. because it violates the good and right Indonesian norms and ethics. The purpose of this study is to find out how the realization of Alayers teenage speech acts on Facebook accounts with a sociolinguistic approach. This research is a type of qualitative research that applies content analysis research. The data in this study are words, phrases and sentences in Alay language. Data was sourced from uploading statuses and comments from Alayers in the group A collection of middle / high school kids looking for girlfriends and friends. To collect data in this study, researchers used data collection techniques, namely, observation and substitution techniques. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using the interactive model analysis techniques of Miles, Huberman and Saldana. Based on the results of the study it was found that out of 27 data obtained by researchers, it was found that there were 20 speech acts used by teenagers in uploading their status on Facebook, 5 speech acts in the form of complaints, and 2 more as speech acts in the form of praise. Alayers' teenage talk on Facebook accounts is realized through vulgar sentences and added images and videos containing pornography. The factors that influence adolescent Alayers speech acts on Facebook accounts are: a) Technological sophistication factor; b) Environment and c) Want to get recognition

Get PDFThis study aims to describe the shape and use of pronouns in the Sasak dialect of Selaparang. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results show that pronouns in Sasak language are divided into three, namely pronouns persona consisting of singular and plural forms, pronoun pointers, and pronouns of the questioner. The use of pronouns in the Sasak dialect of Selaparang in Montong Meong hamlet depends on the social class and the age of the speakers and the opponents of his speech, except the pronouns of the first person plural, the pronouns of the singular and plural third persons, and the pronoun introgative used in all elements of society

Get PDFOne of Malay's most famous works of literature today is Hikayat Hang Tuah. Based on the researcher's search, until 2013 this literary work has been transformed in folklore, pictorial stories, and poetry. This research is a qualitative research. This study is a comparative analysis of the structure 1) folklore entitled Hang Tuah by Mosthamir Thalib (2003) and 2) Poet Poet Hang Jebat and Love Hang Tuah-Tuh Teja by Taufik Ikram Jamil (2013). Based on comparative analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that in the Hang Tuah prose written Mosthamir Thalib in the form of folklore, there are some parts that only follow the convention HTT Valentijn, but in other parts there are also innovations made by the author. It can be argued that convention and innovation are in Hang Tuah by Mosthamir Thalib as one of the works of modern Malay literature. Furthermore, for two titles of poetry Taufik Ikram Jamil published in Kompas, September 1, 2013, there is no innovation in the creation of this poem. All the narratives featured in these two titles of poetry refer to Hikayat Hang Tuah

The research data was sourced from the writings found on billboards and nameplate stores in Langsa. Source of data which is the object of this study is spelling, diction, and sentence contained on billboards and nameplate stores in Langsa. Data taken from two districts of the five districts in Langsa as samples. Sampling was done by cluster sampling technique. The approach used in this study is theoretical and methodological approaches. The theoretical approach in this research using Indonesian error analysis approach, while the methodological approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collected by using the method of direct observation, technical notes, and documentation. Analyzing or processing the data of this study using qualitative analysis techniques. The results obtained are still a lot of errors written in outdoor media in Langsa, especially in the district of Langsa town and Langsa Baro are not in accordance with the rules of Indonesian. The most common errors are errors of spelling and word choice (diction)
