    PEMANFAATAN MEDIA WESITE WIZER.ME BERBANTUAN CANVA PADA TEKS FABEL DALAM PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA

    This research aims to determine the use of learning media on the Wizer.me website assisted by Canva in Indonesian Fable Text lessons. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source in this research is class VIII B students of SMP IP Yakin Jakarta located in Cengkareng, West Jakarta. This research instrument uses field observations. In collecting data using the Wizer.me website which has been modified using the Canva application link to be applied to class VIII B students in class and a questionnaire in the form of a Google form. The technique used in the research is a note-taking technique by describing the scores for each aspect. The assessment score uses a Likert scale. The use of Wizer.me media with the help of Canva is quite effective as a student worksheet on fable texts in Indonesian language lessons. The results of research on class VIII B students at SMP IP Yakin Jakarta showed that 75.9% of students liked the Wizer.me learning media, 79.3% students chose Wizer.me media as suitable for Fable Text material, 72.4% of students agreed that the learning material was suitable for Wizer.me Student Worksheets, 72.4% of students were interested in Wizer.me media as worksheets rather than paper, 72.4% students agree that the Wizer.me learning media assisted by Canva makes them  easier to access Fable Text material, and 65.5% of students

    INVENTARISASI FONEM BAHASA SERAM TIMUR DI MANOKWARI, PAPUA BARAT

    This research aims to describe the inventory and distribution of phonemes in the East Seram language in Manokwari, West Papua. The data consists of 850 Swadesh core vocabularies obtained in the East Seram language from people from Seram Island who now live in Manokwari. Data sources were obtained from informants' responses or answers to questions asked by researchers both orally and in writing and summarized in a Swadesh list. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected in depth through direct interaction with informant subjects through observation, interviews, and audio recordings. The process of analyzing the data encompasses transcribing the data, creating a phoneme inventory, and categorizing sounds according to different features, such as articulation and distribution, to recognize vowel and consonant phonemes in the language of East Seram in Manokwari, West Papua. This process includes analyzing phoneme usage patterns in words in initial, middle, and final positions. The results of the data analysis concluded that the East Seram language in Manokwari, West Papua, has 23 segmental phonemes consisting of 18 consonants and five vowels (monophthongs). These phonemes are: p/, /b/, /t/, /d/, /c/, /j/, /k/, /g/, /f/, /s/, /h/, /m/, /n/, /ŋ/, /r/, /l/, /w/, /y/, a/, /i/, /u/, /e/ and /o/

    Konseptualisasi ‘Penyakit’ dalam Masyarakat Minangkabau di Sumatera Barat

    This research tries to explain the concept of 'illness' in Minangkabau society, which until now is known to have strong local and traditional elements. This research reveals the cultural metaphors used by contemporary Minangkabau society in expressing the concept of 'illness.’ This research uses interview transcripts from 30 people from various backgrounds and ages who live in the West Sumatra region, which was carried out from the beginning of August to the end of October 2023. The interviews were conducted using the Minangkabau language. Participants' answers and expressions were analyzed using a Cultural Linguistics approach which includes cultural metaphor analysis. There are three conceptions that are found; they are ILLNESS AS MOVING OBJECT, ILLNESS AS OWNERSHIP, and ILLNESS AS PUNISHMENT. From the various conceptions found, it is found that the Minangkabau people's cognition about 'illness' is based on the existence of paganism and Islamism. This research is certainly useful for certain stakeholders in making policies and implementing programs to achieve effectiveness and efficiency. AbstrakPenelitian ini melihat dan menjelaskan konsep ‘penyakit’ pada masyarakat Minangkabau yang hingga saat ini terkenal memiliki unsur lokal dan tradisional yang masih kental. Penelitian ini mengungkap metafora-metafora budaya yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Minangkabau kontemporer dalam mengungkapkan konsep ‘penyakit.’ Penelitian ini menggunakan data transkrip wawancara 30 orang dari berbagai kalangan dan umur yang bertempat tinggal di wilayah Sumatra Barat, yang dilaksanakan dalam kurun awal Agustus hingga akhir Oktober 2023. Wawancara dilakukan menggunakan bahasa Minangkabau. Jawaban-jawaban dan ekspresi partisipan dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan linguistik budaya yang meliputi analisis metafora budaya. ada tiga konsepsi penyakit yang ditemukan yaitu penyakiit sebagai benda bergerak, penyakit sebagai kepemilikan, dan penyakit sebagai hukuman. dari ragam konsepsi yang ditemukan tergambar bahwa kognisi masyarakat Minangkabau tentang ‘penyakit’ dilatari dari eksistensi paganisme dan Islamisme.     How are the collective memories of the Malay society in Syair Ardan? and how are Malay society dreams about responding to colonialism in Syair Ardan? are the main problem. This analysis aims to describe the collective memories of the Malay society in Syair Ardan and the dreams of the Malay society in responding to colonialism in Syair Ardan. The object analyzed is the classic Malay manuscript which was copied during the Islamic era that existed in Malay and the Malay nation had contact with colonial nations, entitled Syair Ardan W. 262 collection of PNRI. The text narrates the collective memories of the Malay society in forming their religious identity and dreams of responding to colonialism. The text is analyzed using collective memory studies regarding consciousness in responding to the socio-culture of a society using the hermeneutical method. This article reveals that Islam is part of the identity of the Malay society which can be proven through the opening narrative, content, and colophon in Syair Ardan, the dreams of the Malay society through collective memory by showing traces of the authority of the Malay nation to the next generation; and a representation of dreams of Islamization of the colonial nation. Bagaimana memori kolektif masyarakat Melayu dalam teks Syair Ardan? dan bagaimana angan-angan masyarakat Melayu merespons kolonialisme dalam teks Syair Ardan? merupakan pokok permasalahan yang menjadi inti dari tulisan ini. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan memori kolektif masyarakat Melayu dalam teks Syair Ardan dan menjabarkan angan-angan masyarakat Melayu merespons kolonialisme dalam teks Syair Ardan. Objek yang dianalisis adalah naskah Melayu klasik yang disalin pada masa Islam telah eksis di Melayu dan bangsa Melayu telah bersinggungan dengan bangsa kolonial, berjudul Syair Ardan W. 262 koleksi PNRI. Teks menarasikan memori kolektif masyarakat Melayu dalam membentuk identitas religius dan angan-angan merespons kolonial. Teks dianalisis menggunakan kajian memori kolektif mengenai kesadaran dalam merespons sosial-budaya suatu masyarakat dengan metode hermeneutis, yaitu penginterpretasian suatu objek yang membentuk lingkaran hermeneutis.     Era globalisasi menciptakan fenomena yang tidak seharusnya terjadi, yaitu adanya masyarakat yang menggolongkan diri sebagai etnis Jawa, tetapi tidak menguasai bahasa Jawa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penguasaan bahasa Jawa oleh masyarakat etnis Jawa di SMPN 1 Yogyakarta dan mendeskripsikan pola dan unsur pengidentifikasian diri masyarakat etnis Jawa yang tidak menguasai bahasa Jawa di SMPN 1 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif.  Data penelitian diambil dari 115 peserta didik SMPN 1 Yogyakarta yang mengidentifikasikan diri sebagai etnis Jawa dengan teknik kuesioner dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Kemudian, data diseleksi dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari seluruh responden, 45,2% responden di antaranya tidak menguasai dan menuturkan bahasa Jawa. Tingkat penguasaan bahasa Jawa oleh kelompok tersebut sangat rendah yang disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Sebanyak 78,8% dari mereka hanya sedikit memahami bahasa Jawa dan kadang-kadang menggunakannya, 15,4% sedikit memahami bahasa Jawa dan tidak pernah menggunakannya, 3,8% tidak paham bahasa Jawa, dan 1,9% sangat tidak paham bahasa Jawa..     This research aims to reveal the narratological construction of kuala in the Hikayat Parang Puting so that its cultural and ideological values can be identified. By amalgamating the narratological theory of Mieke Bal and Ansgar Nünning, this research moves dialectically between literary works and Malay culture to reveal this construction. The Hikayat Parang Puting MSS Malay D 3 as the British Library collection that has been transliterated is the data source for gathering linguistic units representing kuala constructions. Methodologically, this data is textually analyzed with attention to its context in literary works and the narratology theories employed. The analysis is further reinforced with literature reviews to correlate the literary data with cultural data beyond the text. This research found that kuala is a geographical element that is spread out, one of which is in Penang. In Penang, Hikayat Parang Puting was produced by Ibrahim. The presence of kuala in the text, thus, cannot be separated from that fact. Similar to the cultural idea of kuala, kuala in the text is perceived by the characters and narrator as a space of power (Hall-Airriess) and a liminal space (Andaya). However, this power does not mean a force; liminal space does not contain spiritual potential, but rather myth. Kuala tends to be constructed as an intermediate location that is connected to a dangerous world as well as a space that is safe from these dangers. Narratively, kuala is also a location that conveys land and sea as two opposing locations in the story. This research ultimately concludes that the cultural and ideological kuala is a geographical object that articulates animistic energies, which can bring both security and danger as well as disasters and safety. This becomes the reality of the meaning and culture offered by the tale. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan konstruksi naratologis kuala dalam Hikayat Parang Puting sehingga dapat diketahui nilai kultural dan ideologisnya. Penggunaan teori naratologi dari Mieke Bal dan Ansgar Nünning menjadikan penelitian ini bergerak secara dialektal antara karya sastra dan budaya Melayu untuk mengungkapkan konstruksi itu. Hikayat Parang Puting MSS Malay D 3 koleksi British Library yang telah dialihaksarakan menjadi sumber data untuk menghimpun data satuan-satuan lingual yang merepresentasikan konstruksi kuala. Secara metodologis, data ini dianalisis secara tekstual dengan memperhatikan konteksnya dalam karya sastra dan teori naratologi yang digunakan. Analisis diperkuat pula dengan studi pustaka sehingga data karya sastra dikorelasikan dengan data budaya di luar teks. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kuala merupakan elemen geografis yang tersebar, salah satunya, di Penang. Di Penang inilah Hikayat Parang Puting diproduksi oleh Ibrahim. Kehadiran kuala dalam teks, dengan demikian, tidak terlepas dari kenyataan itu. Mirip dengan gagasan budaya tentang kuala, kuala dalam teks dipersepsikan oleh karakter dan narator sebagai ruang kekuasaan (Hall-Airriess) dan ruang liminal (Andaya). Namun, kekuasaan ini tidak berarti kekuatan; ruang antara tidak mengandung potensi spiritual, tetapi mitologis. Kuala cenderung dikonstruksi sebagai ruang antara yang terhubung dengan dunia yang berbahaya sekaligus ruang aman dari bahaya tersebut. Secara naratif, kuala juga menjadi lokasi yang mengantarai daratan dan lautan sebagai dua lokasi yang beroposisi dalam cerita. Penelitian ini pada akhirnya menyimpulkan bahwa kuala yang kultural dan ideologis adalah objek geografis yang mengartikulasikan energi animisme, yang bisa mendatangkan rasa aman dan bahaya juga bencana dan keselamatan.     Writing skills are very important for educators. Because, it is a creative process that requires knowledge, skills, techniques, and continuous practice. The weakness of creative thinking in Indonesian learning in writing competence, especially poetry writing. The objectives of this study are: (a) to analyze the difference in poetry writing ability using the relay writing method  and students who use conventional methods; (b) analyze the creative thinking ability of students who use the relay writing method  with students who use conventional methods; (c) correlation to the creative thinking ability of class X students and writing poetry using  the relay writing method and  the creative thinking ability of class X students and writing poetry using conventional methods. Based on the results of the research, there is a conclusion that learning to write poetry texts has an impact on students' creative thinking skills. It is evident from the results of the average pre-test results of the experimental class students obtained 57, while the average post-test results of the experimental class obtained 82 which showed a significant increase in scores before and after the treatment. Likewise, the average score of students' creative thinking pretries is 40 while the average score after the creative thinking test is 83. This shows a significant increase in creative thinking. AbstrakKeterampilan menulis sangatlah penting bagi pendidik. Karena, merupakan suatu proses kreatif yang membutuhkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, teknik, serta latihan terus menerus. Lemahnya daya berpikir kreatif pembelajaran Indonesia dalam kompetensi menulis khususnya menulis puisi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (a) menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan menulis puisi yang menggunakan metode estafet writing dengan siswa yang menggunakan metode konvensional; (b) menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang menggunakan metode estafet writing  dengan siswa yang menggunakan metode konvensional; (c) korelasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X menulis puisi dengan menggunakan metode estafet writing dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X  menulis puisi dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat simpulan bahwa pembelajaran menulis teks puisi berdampak terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Terbukti dari hasil prates rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen memperoleh 57, sementara perolehan rata-rata pascates kelas ekperimen memperoleh 82 yang menunjukan kenaikan nilai yang signifikan sebelum perlakuan dan setelah perlakuan. Begitu pula dengan nilai rata-rata prates berpikir kreatif siswa yaitu 40 sementara nilai rata-rata pascates berpikir kreatif 83.     Intertekstualitas dalam Novel “Hati Suhita” Karya Khilma Anis

    This study describes the intertextual relationship between the characters and plot of the novel "Hati Suhita" by Khilma Anis with several characters and plots in the world of wayang (shadow puppetry). The research employs a qualitative descriptive method in relation to text interpretation. Based on the findings, the forms of intertextuality that appear in the novel "Hati Suhita" are in the description of (1) character naming, (2) character traits, (3) character emotions, and (4) suppositions. The intertextuality contained within also serves as evidence that the author uses other works as references in producing her work. The novel "Hati Suhita" is greatly influenced by stories from wayang characters, allowing readers to internalize cultural values and philosophies through the content of the story. Based on this, the novel "Hati Suhita" is not only an interesting novel in terms of its narrative but also serves as a reflection of culture, social criticism, and a literary work rich in moral and spiritual values. AbstrakPenelitian ini mendeskripsikan hubungan intertekstualitas pada karakter dan alur cerita novel “Hati Suhita” karya Khilma Anis dengan beberapa karakter dan alur cerita dalam dunia pewayangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif  dalam menganalisis hubungannya dengan interpretasi teks. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bentuk intertekstualitas yang muncul dalam novel ”Hati Suhita” adalah dalam deskripsi (1) bentuk penamaan tokoh, (2) karakter tokoh, (3) perasaan tokoh, dan (4) pengandaian. Intertekstualitas yang terkandung juga menjadi bukti bahwa pengarang dalam memproduksi karya menjadikan karya lain sebagai referensinya. Novel “Hati Suhita” banyak dipengaruhi oleh kisah-kisah dalam tokoh pewayangan sehingga pembaca juga dapat menginternalisasi nilai-nilai budaya dan filosofi yang terkandung melalui isi cerita.     G30S is one of the great tragedies recorded in Indonesian history because it led an unreasonable number of casualties. It started with the emergence of a rebellion movement carried out by the communist party, triggering resistance that demanded the lives of many innocent victims. Several resistance and unfair treatment in several areas then occurred as an effort to wipe out descendants and people suspected of being communists in Indonesia. Apart from cruel detention and torture which resulted in physical injuries and bloodshed, this dark incident little by little eroded the mental condition of the victims and did not hesitate to kill them slowly. This research examines the psychology of communist victim characters in the short stories Surat Undangan, Kerbau Bertanduk Emas by Putu Oka Sukanta, and Tanah Air by Martin Aleida. The stories studied are equally themed about the suffering of the 1965 tragedy that was felt by the victims of the communists. This study uses a literary psychology approach according to Sigmund Freud's theory. The data in this study were found through comparative literature and qualitative descriptive methods using reading and note-taking techniques. The results of the research show that there are three psychological elements found in the victim character, namely Id, Ego, and Super ego. As a result of the victim's trauma, the form of ID shown in some of the data in the text occurs consciously, semi-consciously, or in a state that is not truly conscious. The form of the ego is photographed through the actions of victims that occur in reality or general reality. While the Super ego is the action of the victim character in the text which is motivated by the dominance of moral attitudes and politeness
